Beautiful place to visit and be amazed by these rocks and it s history.
Beautiful place to visit and be amazed by these rocks and it s history.
Maybe the SICKEST place I ve EVER been to. Awesome hike up into the venue itself was an added plus. Saw khruangbin and vulfpeck and had a spiritual experience.
The acoustics are amazing and you get a great view of the stage even at the top, but there isn't enough parking (come later and you'll be forced to leave your car at the edge of a cliff) and have to hike to the top. The venue doesn't seem friendly to people with disabilities either.
Took a half day tour.....wished we'd had time to be able to hike a little bit.
Loved the scenes! Was over crowded and people not sitting in the seats they purchased. Will go hiking here but not to a concert again. They need to work on their security it sucks. Surprised they dont have more issues!
The best concert venue in the world. Simply magical. Definitely worth a tour on an off day as well, the Colorado music Hall of Fame is pretty neat.
Always such an amazing experience when visiting Colorado!
Awesome experience. In of the best concert venues in the US.
It was wonderful visiting Ted Rocks Amphitheater again after a lot of years! I went to dozens of concerts "back in the day" and it was wonderful to visit.
I was thrilled that their is now a museum and there is access to the park and hikes even on concert days. I loved it!
What an awesome place! If your in the area it's a must see. So much history here on previous artists that have preformed here.
Very nice natural rock formations park. Access to some areas and views was limited because of a livestream production being readied for the evening we visited. That may have been necessary, but it detracted from the complete experience.
Absolutely stunning!! The museum was so interesting and beautiful
Really cool place to check out. Would love to catch a concert here one day.
Red Rocks is beautiful. The concert venue is so spectacular and really fun. However, it is becoming more and more difficult for me to enjoy shows there. Concert patrons are so rude when they smoke cigarettes and marijuana, and vape in the seating areas. This is not permitted, but of course people do it anyway. Red Rocks has security staff that they can dispatch if needed, but it doesn t ever help. I wish I could enjoy the night air but I always have disgusting smoke blowing in my face. It s such an impossible situation. If only there was a way that they could be more diligent and efficient at cracking down on this.
Great trails. Wonderful venue. Beautiful views. Wildlife galore.
Amazing experience with the acoustics! Saw Nathaniel Rateliff and the Night Sweats. Easy entry and exit. Arrived at venue about an hour before showtime and was able to find great seats. The acoustics at Red Rocks are like non other. Highly recommend to experience a concert here at least once in your life. Will never forget.
Spectacular, very serious about keeping area clean and safe
Beautiful natural ampitheatre thanks to the namesake red rock surrounding the place
We went there to watch the sunrise and to run some stairs in a beautiful setting! It definitely did not disappoint. What surprised me is how many other people were there so early in the morning if the week! If you want to do this I receive thing to the very highest parking lot. It's called the handicap lot or the drop off area. It probably you at the top instead of having to hike all the way up.
It's one of the best places I've ever visited. Great views, great amphitheatre , easy parking, it's very close to Denver.
I liked it. Would be great to see a concert there. Great investment project during the depression that has withstood the test of time.
Seeing a concert at Red Rock was on my bucket list, but now after getting to workout here that ambition has only intensified. The beauty of not only the the rocks towering over you but the valley below is utterly majestic. I look forward to the day I can return.
Best place to see a show outside! I wish I would've arrived earlier to walk on the trails and visit the museum behind the stage area. The seats were awesome! A lot of room to dance and typically you can sit fairly close for a good price I'd you get there early. Try to get to your seat via the stairs instead of the ramp. It's a workout!
Amazing views and during concerts supreme sound.natural ampatheatre
Love Red Rocks! Went on a hike this time! Great exercise, awesome view!!!!
You could see a band you hater here, and you would still have a great time. The venue is that good.
I was there during the the first week of September. And, I can say that the place is very inspiring and if you happen to go for a concert, you can't beat the atmosphere. It also has museum which is very cool.
Love these red rocks.
As beautiful as Sedona.
Great spot to visit! Great fresh weather and a lot of good photo spots
The Mecca of concert venues. Perfect acoustics anywhere you sit. The views are amazing. Photos can't capture the true feeling of awe when you're there. I'm sure I'll be making another trip to Denver on the sole purpose of going here again.
Such a cool place to get a workout in! I loved it here and wish I was located in the same city as this. Made me miss my workout team back home after being here for a few minutes. It was also really cool to see the different groups doing different workouts. All challenging. I'll be back for sure. Also really great hiking trails! Not too difficult. Novice trails.
Outstanding venue. Stunning views. Fabulous sound. In a class of it's own. Go early and hike around. Take a blanket and sit off to the side for concerts.
The best, what else do I need to say. The gorge of Co.
If you're looking for a place that has visual impact while you walk then Red Rocks would be a good choice.
Like everyone else I love this venue. You can't beat the ambiance and concerts in such a beautiful location. You do have to arrive ready to walk somewhat long distances to/from the car if you drive. Otherwise the shuttle from the city is quick and easy. I don't really think I can add anything else except that everyone should see at least one show in this classic setting.
I love coming to Red Rocks! It's such a beautiful amphitheatre it makes any show that much better! I was recently here for the The Piano Guys and it was another fantastic experience. The show and atmosphere were amazing. The only setback was when a thunderstorm rolled in at intermission. So the normal intermission was extended to 45-60 minutes in order to wait out the storm. They had recommended returning to our cars (which is quite a trek so we opted to wait it out in our seats as did most people) or seeking shelter in the visitors center. Luckily neither were necessary as nothing happened other than a few raindrops and they were able to resume the show.
A couple of helpful tips: you can bring either a factory sealed water bottle or an empty water bottle in to fill at the water fountains located near most restrooms. This will save you $$$. And I always forget to bring a seat cushion or those stadium seats with the back support. Those would make the seating much more comfortable. Clearly a rain jacket or poncho are always a good idea as well.
The facility is well taken care of , the visitors center is inspiring and most of all, the amphitheater and surrounding beauty is breathtaking
Best concert venue EVER!!!! the hike to the entrance isnt the most pleasant if you're like me and not in tip-top super-duper-over-the-top-Coloradoian shape, but the extra effort makes up for all the (EXPENSIVE!!!) beers you can and probably will consume, so I still give it 5 stars... plus there are cabs and passenger vans that will take ya up (or down) the mountain so there's that for ya... and the sound is amazing, the atmosphere is incredible, and the scene is just exquisite, truly breath-taking from every angle...or that's the hike up that is still affecting your breathing, but either way, your breath will be short when ya get to the top and have a gander around.
Beautiful venue for a concert. Definitely want to come back for a concert.
Although Colorado is known for the dispensaries I was overtaken by the sheer size of this amazing place! When I got out of my car I felt this emotional feeling came over me! This is by far the best place that I have ever visited! We happened to go on the first day of winter solstice
Beautiful venue. Needs more handicap parking, but they have a great shuttle system.
This is our favorite venue in Colorado to see concerts at. This is definitely a place you should put on your bucket list.
I enjoy myself with my friends at Red Rocks for the very first time go up there. It was a beautiful day that day we went.
Must see. Free entrance and parking (when no event scheduled) park all the way up top to save a hike. Great view.
Really cool to see! Make sure you come when there is not a concert if you want to come all the way in. Lots of hiking paths around. Food sold inside of you plan to spend awhile here.
Awesome place to workout, climb the stairs and people watch
Beautiful and clean with helpful staff and lots of parking.
Red Rocks is as iconic a Colorado site as you will find. Check out the history of the park as you go for a hike or a concert...always magical even when it's raining!
Love the red Rocks. Nice place to walk and view Gods creations. Also awesome concerts and museum. If your in the area you should definitely make time for this
Fantastic venue, set in the midst of some amazing geography. Thoroughly enjoyed it, and plan on returning many times!
Awesome concert event with such amazing scenic views!!!
Great venue to see live music! There is not a bad seat in the house and the sound is awesome. Bathrooms are easy to find. Food and drink are readily available and there is a plethora to choose from. I dare you to try to not enjoy yourself.
Awesome venue! Open air with great acoustics. Crowd can get a little chachos but jump in and enjoy. Plenty of room to dance and groove. Food and beverage options available at considerable prices. Cash and credit accepted.
I've been going to concerts there since the 70's. Red Rocks IS - the BEST VENUE in the world to see a show. There's an old saying that there's PERFECT acoustics for sound, & there's no place closer to the stars to view a historical musical performance.
The park has several scenic hiking trails, & wildlife living on the side of that mountain. A VERY spiritual feeling always overcomes me, just being there. From atop of the ampitheatre, one can see the Denver skyline on the horizon. Breathtaking views are abundant HERE!
The trading post has snacks/drinks available as well as VERY clean and remodeled restrooms. The Trading Post is also HOME of The Colorado Music Hall of Fame... The history of this legendary venue lies here at the Trading Post, & inside the Visitor's Center at the top of the ampitheatre. Both locations are ADA accessible, plus there's a wonderful restaurant inside the Visitor's Center called the Shiprock Grill, serving lunch daily, with a full bar available. When visiting The Mile High city, a trip isn't complete without visiting Red Rocks!
If you see a musical concert you wish to attend, get your tickets early, because most all shows are sold out.
The City and County of Denver have made many improvements in recent years
Saw a concert for the first time on Sunday and it had to have been one my most favorite experiences I've ever had. The sound is outstanding and the view is breathtaking. Only major down side is all those stairs, I'm from Texas so it was difficult with the high elevation but the show made it all worth it.
Pretty tough for a blue mountain bike trail. Beautiful area also great for hiking...
Had a FABULOUS time watching The Fray thanks to Southwest! It was a perfect night for a concert, and the venue is remarkable. At night, it's so cool to see the city lights sparkling off in the distance. It's a unique venue that is truly one-of-a-kind. Cannot wait for the next concert!
We were visiting and wanted to do some hiking. The day we went, there was a concert playing and the trails were closed. But the state trooper allowed us to hike and it was amazing Nice and clean trails.
If you can't find me I will be living here the remainder of the summer! Seriously the best place in the entire world!!!!!!!! I have seen artists I had never listened to and been blown away!!!! Super stoked this summer should be a great time. There is no where like this in the world!
It's Red Rocks, stop reading this and buy tickets for every show you can see here. World class experience and view. Pro-Tip: The museum downstairs offers an escape from the cold, rain, or chaos during shows.
Really great experience! Newbie hikers should start with the trading post trail. It s a simple path and great for legs day if you need a workout ha!
Most amazing venue. The artists who perform here are always honored and out on an even better show because of it.
Amazing for things other than concerts. It is amazing to see, has a small museum inside, some nice trails, nice outdoor seating for eating, and lots of views
Definitely a place to visit while in denver ! Nice view
The best concert venue in the world. Literally, the look, the feel, the sound, the goosebumps were all 100% amazing and could be compared to losing your v-card. Not to mention the drive up into the Red Rocks is beautiful and quite humbling. I loved it and will definitely return.
This place is amazing and beautiful. If you're looking for a concert venue the acoustics are amazing in the area. I would venture to call this place mysterious and magical
Must see before you leave this world because it's out of this world great place to visit I would go again
Best outdoor venue! There are no bad seats. The sound at the top is as good as close to the stage. And the views are magnificent! They could use a few more water fountains, but that's nothing compared to what they offer. A+ venue all the way.
Been here a couple times for hikes and just to see the venue. Truly incredible place.
It's a beautiful place don't get me wrong! Beautiful view especially when the sun rises. It holds a lot of concerts and has a small museum about it's history. The museum is free and shows all of the concerts it has held. Many come up there during the summer to run. You can get your steps in and I really recommend taking your family here! The reason why I only gave it 4 stars was due to the lack of trash cans. You have to hold your trash until you find one and it's a hassle. They keep it open during the winter and it's a huge safety hazard since there's so many steps and it snows. Overall, it's a great place to come to.
Red rocks is amazing. Gorgeous during day, and fantastic at night. Concerts are like no other!
There's not much to say about this but Red Rocks ROCKS!
One of the top places to see near Denver. Don't forget to go around the theatre for small hikes and scenic view points. Also the museum below the theatre is good.
I love going to Red Rocks! Come see a concert or hit the trails and workout. Make sure you get here early so you can visit the amphitheater. They close it earlier for concerts during the summer. A must visit spot. Would highly recommend.
Beautiful place...the main amphitheater was closed for a show that night so there was no access. The surrounding area is amazing. Lots of hiking trails, etc.
Gorgeous. Definitely a must see if you're out this way
Super fun! The acoustics here are unlike anything else in the world and the John Denver museum was amazing!! Loved the tribute!
