This is absolutely the best venue I've ever seen a concert at. The sound of Modest Mouse was spectacular and the scenery was beautiful. Beer sales were plentiful and convenient and the crowds were very well behaved. The only thing you have to plan for is a long exit if you stay till the very end. Those of us who live in the area are so spoiled to have red rocks Amphitheatre.

Saw Rainbow Kitten Surprise and Caamp, it was an absolutely magical experience! I recommend this venue to anyone that can go! I will return to check out the hiking trails and museum.

Regardless if there is an event here or not, it is worth a visit for the views. Do note, climbing the stairs from the lower parking lot may take your breath away as it is located at 6000 ft elevation.

Red Rocks is a phenomenal venue with excellent acoustics. Seeing Rufus and Bob Moses there was absolutely amazing. Get ready to walk up and down some steps in high elevation. Leave early to avoid ride share issues but get your own transportation if possible. Amazing having Chic-fil-a stands on the way down to eat!

Back to Red Rocks after a couple of years.
I'm not young so needed help with the tickets on my phone.
The absolute nicest guy from Red Rocks stepped up and showed me how, without making me feel like an idiot.
As for the LSD Concert all was great until Dwight Yoakam's band came on stage.
The sound was tearable. Feedback, hot microphone, the sound guy really messed up the entire experience.
Red Rocks is such a great place to hear music. It was torture. If you didn't already know the song you were out of luck.
Red Rocks is a must see no matter if you've been there or not!

If you've been on the fence about attending a show here, don't wait any longer. It's by far the coolest place in America to see bands . Can't say enough about how beautiful this spot is! Take a blanket to sit on

Had a great time exploring the Red Rocks area with my girl. We went to check it out for the first time. We have heard about all the concerts and how we should go. We just went for the afternoon to see the sights. After going we both want to go back and see a concert sometime. There are a lot of stairs and hills to go up and down so be prepared to hike up and down some steep terrain but well worth it. It is a very beautiful place.

Lovely place. My favorite venue to see concerts. I do wish they checked tickets / monitored people more thoroughly though. I saw some people sneak down several rows to my row closer up and made it crowded. May as well make it GA if they aren't going to check.

Outdoor concert venue that is located between 2 large rock formations. The bowl shaped theater with the large rock walls on either side help boost the acoustics of the music from the stage speakers outwards and upwards into the crowd. The sound is held together as it travels away from the stage, in between rocks, right into your ears, chest, and soul. For the best best try to sit no lower than Row 21. Any lower and you will not be able to see the night time skyline of Denver across the top of the stage. Sit in the center most section on Rows 21-34 for the best sound and visual experience. There are no chairs. The stadium is built like a terrace with each level just a giant step down from the next. So bring a blanket to sit on and to bundle up with at night as temps can drop low the the Spring and Fall.Parking in the South Lot is easier walking back to the car after the show. And there is always the Lyft lot that can shuttle you back to Denver if you don't feel like driving, can't find your car, forget where you are, forget who you are, etc. It's easy to become lost in the the desert, lol j/k.Good times for sure. I will be back for sure!

Understand, I've wanted to go here for at least 30 years. I enjoy hiking, & nature photography. As well as music.
Now unless you research it, you probably think it's just a music venue. I did. Till my wife told me otherwise.
There are several hiking trails. Which I didn't even get to explore. The venue itself is a hike. Pretty steep, too. So be careful if you have [or are prone to] breathing issues. Everywhere you look is picturesque. The restaurant & history museum are closed as of this writing. If you go, drive to the very top drop off circle. To do this you drive through the rocks. Which is very cool. Obviously, there are no big concerts right now. [Covid] But I still spent at least about 6 hours just exploring the parking lots, & trails connecting them. The Trading Post [gift shop] is open. Only 25 allowed in at one time. However, I only had a line once, & it wasn't very long. There are bathrooms open by the trading post. Not sure about the other ones. Well worth going, in my opinion. The signage was very good & clear.

Beautiful venue with a landscape that cant be beat. I was surprised to see so many people praising the sound quality at this amphitheater. When the wind kicks up, the sound isn't great at all and it was windy all 5 hours we were there.

Beautiful Amphitheatre and Visitor Center / Hall of Fame. The elevation is about 6,450ft above sea level and there are lots of stairs and trails if you choose to hike. Be sure to drink plenty of water and acclamate to the elevation. Plenty of parking near the top of the Amphitheatre for those who don't want to walk too far. Visiting this amphitheatre is a must do bucket list item!

This is the absolute, hands down best place to see a concert!! I have seen so many great bands (and a few not so great bands) at Red Rocks since the early 80's and no matter what show I have been to there, it's ALWAYS a memorable experience JUST because it's Red Rocks!! Ask ANY band where the best place for a show and Red Rocks is ALWAYS on top!! If you came to Colorado for a vacation and/or sightseeing, unless you take in a concert at Red Rocks, you will miss one of the best places that makes Colorado so awesome!!

Legendary venue, often regarded as the best in the country, and in my opinion the best in the world.

There's not much I'll be able to say that's different than what thousands have said before me. If you haven't gone to see your favorite artist here you really are doing yourself a disservice, and missing out on one of the most unique, gorgeous, and entertaining experiences of your life. Be forewarned, drugs are prohibited but once the sun goes down all bets are off and you will be enveloped in cannabis smoke (depending on what kind of show you are seeing of course). Drinks and food are ridiculously expensive, the lines for bathrooms can take 15 min, and people can be jerks, but these factors do little to mar the magic of a Red Rocks experience. Seriously, what are you waiting for? Buy your tickets!

I love red rocks. Its a nice little hike for beginners. The stairs give you a great workout. Its dog friendy and my pup loves it. The air is thin so if you're bringing out of towners make them aware they will probably be winded. Sunrise is beautiful. I've never had a hard time finding parking. There is usually construction so some trails are blocked off. After a concert it can smell like booze but hey that's life.

Hands down the best venue in Denver, maybe anywhere. Not only is it a great place to take in a show or movie but it's a great location for hiking, biking, exercising, etc. Truly an iconic landmark.

This place is so magical. I waited years to come and finally got the chance. Even better, they will let you bring in an empty water bottle into the venue to get refilled. The staff were all so friendly, from security to the food vendors. I will be back! And so fun to explore during the day before concerts, too! Very nicely done history exhibit in the visitors center.

Just as beautiful as everyone has described! For how many people were present the lines were moving quickly which was great! I'd love to go back in the fall when it's a little cooler and see another show! If you go in the summer don't forget your sunscreen, sunglasses or hat!

Unfortunately, I cannot give Red Rocks a good review. I want to make it clear from the start that I have never been there; this negative review has to do with why I won't be going! I attempted to purchase tickets for the Mark Knophler concert in September (2019). I went to the Red Rocks website, and it provided a "tickets" option, which I pressed and then proceeded to give me a choice of "Standard , VIP , and Resale". I chose standard. Up came the ticket prices.... none less than $250 each. I was very confused, as I could not imagine that the tickets could cost that much if they were not re-sales. I finally called Red Rocks and the nice gentleman that answered told me that the "standard" tickets had sold out in February, just a few days after they went on sale. He admitted that the website was confusing (I would say "misleading" is the more appropriate adjective!) and that it should say "SOLD OUT" and then made it clear that the tickets one could purchase would be resales. Maybe it s stupid, but I always thought of Denver/Colorado as a place where one could expect straightforwardness. Sad that Red Rocks disabused me of that notion.

Beautiful venue, hard to beat. Similar in layout to the Hollywood Bowl. Ingress/egress was reasonable. Unlike some events I've been to, Rideshare are seemed to be better organized, though we took a hotel shuttle back to Origin Hotel.

It's the famous RED ROCKS. Its everything you've heard of and more. Saw a mix of a jam band with jazz concert there. Acoustics were great.

The venue is one of a kind and only holds 10000 people with huge open seating. If you can go there. DO IT.
