Truly beautiful theater! I would for sure come back during an event. I can online imagine what the night skies would look like. During the day it was breath takin! So glad we stopped by here. Plus the scenery in the background with the snow at this time of the year was just wow. I can imagine in the spring and fall the color contrast must be soooo nice!

We got stranded on our way to D.C here in CO so we made a quick trip out of it and got to see this magical place. CO has our heart haha.

For many things... we love. I believe a nice show with the right lighting and weather would be killa! Add in some snacks and you are golden.

We'll be back!

The views here are gorgeous. The amphitheater is open most days until 2 unless an event is scheduled. Very nice pictorial history timeline display. Also every band that's ever played is displayed by year. Tiny gift shop.

First thing to get out of the way is the hike from your car. Yes, it s steep. Wear some good shoes and be ready to get a bit of a workout. But the venue is amazing for some good music. You re basically sitting on the side of the mountain. Such a cool place. We went to see the Piano Guys. Awesome concert and my favorite place to see them!

It was beautiful but if you or anyone visiting here has difficulty walking, be sure to drive them to the top and drop them off or something because there is a LONG walk up a ramp and then an additional 205 steps to the top. The view at the top is worth it though. There are bathrooms and vending machines/drinks inside the visiting center.

There is no prettier venue in the United States. The entire drive and walk into the amphitheatre itself is laden with stunning views. Once you're inside, you are almost overwhelmed by the natural ambiance. The sound is incredible no matter where you sit. I will be going back, a lot.

I love red rocks. It's great for a little or a long hike when you want to see nature, but not drive up into the mountains. It's got a lot of trails and areas to explore. Depending on the day and time it can be packed with people or fairly empty. Also, it's so close to Morrison and it's cute little shops and restaurants. You can easily however long you want hiking and then grab a treat in Morrison. Personally, I recommend going in the morning because red rocks can get quite hot in the afternoon, but I don't always handle the heat well and I fry if I'm in the sun too long.

This is a beautiful park. To be practical wear comfortable shoes and prepare for a hike and thr peaked altitudes that can cause shallow breathing. The Amphitheatre is awesome when there are performances there you just have to make that trek up to the top.

Ahhhhhh, Red Rocks in the rain, Avett Brothers on the stage ... what a memorable experience. Aside from its superior design and outdoor beauty, there is a hype about this place that it lives up to fully. Mellow crowd, beautiful acoustics. The band was so engaged with the audience, and vice versa. Their very equitable policies add to just a delightful experience. If rain is predicted, by all means pack a raincoat. Even though we wound up soaked, the raincoats got us through, and we would not have wanted to miss that show!

This is what happens when art, engineering and architecture converge at one spot. It s a masterpiece and and awesome sight to behold. I have never attended a concert here but I ll bet it ll be awesome!

My favorite concert venue! It's the most beautiful outdoor amphitheater. Must be prepared for rain, but last night was perfect. They do take your smart watches and phones, so be prepared.

Best concert I have ever been to. Opeth and Gojira were fantastic. Sound is loud and crisp. Get there very early as it gets super busy checking in. Wish I had seen Tom Petty here last summer =( Go to the shows you know you should go to.

Favorite venue I have ever been to. The acoustics were amazing with a breathtaking view. A bit of a hike to get there, totally worth it. If you LYFT or UBER they do take out the parking lot walk. Lol.

Very cool theater and museum. Would love to see a concert there. Only knock would be they tend to close it with little warning so you can't hang out and check out the amphitheater.

Museum is pretty cool, you can see all of the bands who have played there.

There is no place like Red Rocks! Great venue for artists to play and fans to listen. Beautiful scenery to see everywhere you look. If visiting Denver and you have the stamina to climb all the stairs to get to the top then it's a "must see, must do".

Is there a better outdoor concert venue in the states than this? If so, I havent found it. It's quite a hike to get to your seats, but it's worth the climb. What a stunning spot to see a show!

We were visiting family in Denver and thought we might see if we could get into a concert. It was sold out but we found tickets on Stub Hub. I don't like giving myself huge expectations but this time...they were exceeded. Absolutely the best acoustics. The fans made this magical. You can pay extra for assigned seats but I didn't even use mine. I went down to the front on the edge as they let people look on from there (though the sound wasn't as good). I had the most fun with strangers at a concert than any other time in my life. This beautiful venue brings out the best in people. Bring cash as you will get through lines quicker if you want food or drinks. Be prepared to hike even if it's just for the concert. If you can park in the north lot...it's closer to the seats. You can bring in sealed water bottles and food (saves money). There are cigarette smoking sections so you can do that. As for marijuana, please know that although it is illegal to smoke in public, you will consume copious second hand smoke (depending on some concerts, maybe more than others).

Breathtaking as always. The views are amazing. Be careful if you're not used to the altitude. The stairs can kill you. Event staff is pretty friendly, however, it's a no drone zone so we asked the nearest place we could fly. They said one of the trails nearby so we drove over and hiked up a bit. We were stopped by a ranger saying no drones pretty much for miles around. Best venue for concerts I would say in the entire world.

The views are amazing, such a fun experience. Workers in the gift shop were extremely friendly. We went spur of the moment while driving around, we were able to walk around even in regular street clothes. Can't wait to return in athletic wear and really get to hike the area!

Best outdoor venue in the United States. Seriously, this place is a must visit. Tailgating is allowed in the parking lot befor entry (which is a good idea considering drinks inside the place are $11+)

Top 5 venue in the United States. I don't think anyone would argue with this statement. The views are amazing and every group/band/artist that has the pleasure of playing here is amazing. You cannot go wrong. Even better you can get a "bus to show" that picks you up and drop you off at your local Cheba Hut for a reasonable price. If you decide to get to the venue early they also offer free hiking trails through the Red Rock area that is beautiful.

This is my church and it fills my cup...I see why it is the place that others want to come and experience, it is so magical when you add lights and epic musicians to dance the night away.

Has such a great time at punk in drublic! The red rocks are the best backdrop for a concert, and the concessions are amazing! I didn't know Bad Cop Bad Cop and Teenage Bottlerocket before this, and now, they are two of my new favorites!

Always amazing shows here, in a very beautiful setting, and good sound everywhere. Be prepared for a long walk. Storms happen, so look at the weather forecast and bring a rain jacket if there is any chance of rain.

Online fees are very high. To save money, plan in advance and use the box office on days before the show. If you can't get a ticket, usually you can find people selling them for what they paid.
