Unfortunately, I cannot give Red Rocks a good review. I want to make it clear from the start that I have never been there; this negative review has to do with why I won't be going! I attempted to purchase tickets for the Mark Knophler concert in September (2019). I went to the Red Rocks website, and it provided a "tickets" option, which I pressed and then proceeded to give me a choice of "Standard , VIP , and Resale". I chose standard. Up came the ticket prices.... none less than $250 each. I was very confused, as I could not imagine that the tickets could cost that much if they were not re-sales. I finally called Red Rocks and the nice gentleman that answered told me that the "standard" tickets had sold out in February, just a few days after they went on sale. He admitted that the website was confusing (I would say "misleading" is the more appropriate adjective!) and that it should say "SOLD OUT" and then made it clear that the tickets one could purchase would be resales. Maybe it s stupid, but I always thought of Denver/Colorado as a place where one could expect straightforwardness. Sad that Red Rocks disabused me of that notion.
