Easy trail with some good scenery. It's stays a bit too close to civilization for my taste though.

Great place to to see a concert. Cools of at night.
Horrible parking situation. After concert, literally waited an hour and a half stuck in parking lot. Traffic was at a gridlock. Terribly disappointed! Luckily I was visiting and don t have to frequent this venue.
World class experience, making history. No where quite like it to see the best musical acts on tour today. The intention behind the visuals in the film on stage tie together the artists purpose in ways that just don t happen anywhere else. More than anything, everyone there is just as happy to be there as you are. Perfect example of humans evolution allowing for a greater appreciation of nature.
We went to see Pasific Dub, The Movement, Iration and Dirty Heads. Was with my wife and kids. Even though I don't listen to that kind of music, the band's were great, and I had a blast. Red Rocks is Awesome!!
Great place for a concert, saw Weird Al here and it was great.
Always a treat visiting the Red Rocks! Absolutely stunningly beautiful, even though the thin air and 1000+ steps to get up and down to see everything is more than a little difficult
This is absolutely my favorite venue to work at. There's no place else like it & everyone should experience it at least once in their life
Do I even need to review Red Rocks? It's Red Rocks. Anyone who gives this place less than 5 stars is wrong.
Beautiful! History, hiking, music history... must see on Colorado
Great! One of the best venues I've ever been a part of. So happy I got to see Griz here live, twice!
There aren't words to describe the views or the acoustics of this place. I've never been so moved by a venue. Definitely a must see for any music lover!
A trip to Denver cannot be completed without a visit to this. It s a one of a kind experience
Absolutely beautiful venue with greta acoustics getting in and out can be a chore but well worth it... after leaving CO is still one of my favorite venues to see a show
A great place to visit during the day. Many trails to explore. If your visiting Denver it's a short drive.
The cool est way to see a show. We drove from Utah just cause we heard it was so rad. Also note. Apparently it rains a lot there. Just come prepared for rain if you are out of state
Just beautiful! I love watching all the people, especially the lil kiddies, taking care of themselves and working out. I can only imagine what it's like to catch a show here! The trails are also amazingly beautiful and easy to walk through, so if you have bad knees or a bad back you don't have to fear straining yourself on certain trails, you can definitely take part and enjoy the wonder of the rocks!
Bucket list, I will definitely be checking what is playing every time I'm in CO...
Going to show is never a let down. Parking is always crazy haha. When there isnt a show its still super amazing and peaceful
The colors man, whoa...i could taste the music bro.
Great place. One of a kind to see a show. The acoustics are unique and ample while sitting wrapped in a beautiful nature scene.
The world's premiere outdoor concert venue, crafted by mother earth over millions of years. Words do this place no justice...just go. Even if you cannot come for a concert, the whole area is a park and open daily to the public. Many of Denver's citizens use it for a fitness playground, with it's extensive staircases and sun kissed, wide seating areas perfect for exercise. In fact they offer seasonal yoga classes along with other community activities. The summer season offers classic film showings in the evening. Be sure to tour the Visitor's Center and take in the Denver skyline from row 55.
Incredible venue for a concert! Highly recommended!
Great venue to see music, was happy to have been for the show we went for!
What an amazing place... words can't describe how amazing this beautiful venue is.
One of the awesome's places to see a concert great atmosphere!!!!
My sister has tested tickets for tonight's Tedeschi Trucks concert. Tickets say reserved but the reserved rope is 10 rows up and they can't get to their seats. Usher said their tickets are GA, they say reserved. It's making a day that should be fun a nightmare.
Saw Tom Petty in 2014 and it was amazing! Recently returned to hike the surrounding trails and that was amazing too! Coloradoans are so lucky to have these gorgeous places to hike!
I went for the first time last night. It was a sell out crowd for Nathaniel Ratliff. The food available was great the museum was incredible however when it came time to find my seat it was almost impossible. Since I had never been there before I had no idea what to expect. So I stood on the stairs which a lot of people where. There where people standing everywhere. Even in the trees. It s like they over sold or something. One of the security came up and told me I couldn t stand on the stairs and when I asked him if he knew where my seats where he just walked off. I went all around looking for a place to watch the show but found nothing. I wasn t going to do like some and just sit out side listening to the music. So I left about the 5th song. It was a waste of $250.
After several email exchanges the message I got from the front office was too bad sorry for your luck.
Visited for the day, no concert, but beautiful venue and cool museum. Would love to see a concert here. It looks amazing.
Great place.wonderful shows...beautiful place to visit.highly recommended.
Everything you've heard about this theater is true. Crazy experience to go up in the hills to see a show. I saw widespread panic (never heard of them prior) and it was awesome. Highly recommend going even if it costs an arm and a leg because you will remember it forever. Definitely going back when I make it back to the rockies
Great venue to see a concert. The only issue I had was the distance from downtown Denver. Otherwise, the views were great and the venue was clean.
Definitely beautiful place to go! And if possible, lgo to a rock&roll concert!
Incredible venue with fantastic view overlooking the greater Denver area.
Incredible place to see a show, but holy expensive beers batman! Come with plenty of cash.
Red Rocks Is My Lifelong Favorite Outdoor Concert Venue Anywhere! Anybody Who Is Anybody Has Played At Red Rocks. My First Concert Was 38 Years Ago At Red Rocks When My Family Took Me To See John Denver. Some Of The Best Memories In My Life Were Made On Summer Nights At This Venue Enjoying Quality Entertainers Who Enjoy Playing Red Rocks So Much Themselves Making Their Performances Too Notch Compared To Seeing Them Play Elsewhere.
Chief Hosa Campground Is A Great Place To Anchor During Weekend Jam Bands And The Tailgate/Lot Pre Parties Are Off The Hook Awesome. Can't Wait To Enjoy Another Season At This Local Historic Gem.
My firat time and glad to knock this off my bucketlist! I uber'd and got dropped off the upper lots to a pleasant surprise of food and drink concession stands. No assigned seating by seats but rather rows. The rest rooms were in the museum portion of the venue. Easy to get around and fantastic to be surround by those rocks!
Awesome but not so friendly and not so efficient service staff at the restaurant
One of the most beautiful places I have ever seen! The staff maintains it perfectly. Good place for walks, hikes, weddings, and picnics.
I've been there many times Red Rocks Amphitheatre holds the best concerts
Is a shame there was a concert schedule and I didn t make it on time to actually see and walk down the steps to the amphitheater, but nonetheless I have a great experience checking the trails and this music hall of fame!
Didn't go for a concert but definitely made that a bucket list item for the future! Such a beautiful area.
Awesome venue, great show. Glad we ate beforehand and arrived early. Lots of fun!
What can I say it's red rocks, such a beautiful amphitheater
A must if you are in Denver. If you have the chance to visit during a performance go. Is very nice during day but in the night with the lights takes a new color and experience
In the morning is used to training or running and is kind of cool to spend a sunset there
This venue is incredible. Everything is super clean and the staff is efficient
It's a very well know place and if you have the chance to go see it you should. Views are amazing and there are always people exercising in the Amphitheater, very impressive
It's amazing place to visit... famous for live rock band shows...also have so many trails...
It's a great venue, but it has become so popular that development of the property is priority one. The natural beauty of this park is slowly being replaced by paved parking lots, concrete walkways, intrusive lighting. If I wanted it to look like the city, I'd go see a show downtown.
This was the best concert I've ever been too. Love Red Rocks!!!
A marvel of modern engineering, inspired by the ancient ampitheaters of the Greeks. By Old & New's powers combined, Red Rocks is something uniquely it's own! It's layout (reminiscent of the Lyre) speaks truth. And the truth is... We all might be better for, more pilgrimages out to it's humble splendor.
Workout groups in the mornings &
Cryogenically frozen rockstars in it's crypts! (Shhh!)
All in all, Red Rocks has something for everyone.
Awesome venue. It's a bit small, but the location is absolutely breathtaking. The rock formations create a sound like no other. It's just an all around beautiful place with views of the front range and downtown Denver in the distance. It can be much cooler up here than in Denver, especially at night, so be prepared for that.
This is a great-breath taking park and concert venue.
I went hiking here, but I did not see a concert. The location is beautiful, and I'd highly recommend everybody to see this area for themselves!
Such a gorgeous location for a concert. Nothing better than being surrounded by mother nature with breathtaking views and awesome tunes! Everyone should go to Red Rocks Amphitheatre at least once (and you'll definitely want to come back!)
My first red rocks show was amazing! Get ready to climb some stairs, and check seat numbers before shuffling to the other side (even if an employee told you to). We passed by our seats and made it to the other side before realizing we'd been lead astray!
Great place to go workout or run up some stairs...they were setting up for a Stevie Wonder concert when I stopped by...great views and cool atmosphere!
Rather watch a concert than the exercise class that was happening, but it is now on the bucket list for post Covid19!
What a great place to so some exercise or listen to singers
Really cool. You can see down town Denver in the distance, but your in a really picturesque and intimate setting.
AMAZING VENUE with beautiful views. Surrounded by rock formations and if it's a clear day you can see the Denver high-rises in the distance. Good amount of area for seating with good views of the stage area. My only qualm was all of the smoke... There is a "designated smoking area" on the side rails but honestly, that's where I ended up going to try to get some fresh air. (This was for a Phantogram/Tycho concert.) Also just a heads up, LOTS of stairs to climb. Parking was great though. We brought ponchos (you can't bring umbrellas) but we didn't end up needing them. Oh, and if you bring an apple it apparently has to be pre-sliced.
This is one of the most beautiful venues I have ever been to. The rock formations are amazing and the view of the city skyline is an extra treat. Be warned, there are a lot of steep walkways and stairs. Give yourself some extra time if you need it.
This place is a beautiful landmark of the state of CO. Great and historical venue for concerts and general entertainment. And also great for hikes and workouts. This venue is open to the public for visits in non-event days. It has two sets of continuous stairs on both sides if you're planning to do bleachers. One side gets shade in the early afternoon. It can get windy up there ocassionally
This is the best place to go for an outdoor concerts.
Beautiful place. One of the most magnificent I have ever been too.
Loved the atmosphere with great himan beings around me as well. Definetely coming back!!!
Saw Carlos Santana, concert was #1, great sound and helpful staff. Was there a year ago also and saw Cheap Trick, Heart, Joan Jett, all were great! had a Lightning storm and they had to clear the place, we were stuck outside for awhile but eventually got inside and it was fun.
The best outdoor venue in the country. It's all been said before.
Thought we were going to just see "The Grand Budapest Hotel." Turns out there were two bands and a comic performance before the movie started. You can bring in a small cooler "6 cans or less" I also recommend something soft to sit on! Loved this place :)
This is an amazing place and you should definitely go for a visit. You can walk through the auditorium if there's not a concert or sound check going in. The views are spectacular.
We went for a Piano Guys concert a few weeks ago, and it was an amazing venue. There is always the treat that the concert will be closed down due to lightening, but it's still a worth it. You can get food and drinks on site or bring your own if you bring drinks in plastic containers.
I went to see my favorite DJ Shpongle on May 3 for the last live band performance. It was my first experience at red rocks. It was amazing. It took over an hour to get in causing me to miss the first opening. So I d suggest getting there several hours early. I love the view of the city while watching the show.
Attended the 4/20/19 Stick Figure show here. The band was awesome but that's not the point; The venue is the hero/villain here.
The one thing I want to be sure to mention is how long it can take, and energy expended, to get from the lower lot up to the amphitheatre. This is not to be taken lightly, and for those visitors from sea-level states, either prepare to be in good shape or prepare to take a while walking, stopping, and breathing heavy. You will see several people who are un-prepared to the point they pass out. Just let their people take care of them and continue onward.
Once you get up to the amphitheatre, it's all gravy from there. Find a place to sit and prepare to deal with people moving and switching seats the entire show. This can get disruptive and annoying, but not much to be done about it.
Don't be one of those people recording the show on your phone the entire time. Use your eyes and ears and absorb everything you can.
Best venue for an outdoor concert in all of Colorado (if the weather cooperates). Hard to get in and out of after the show though. Get there early and plan on staying late or get a Lyft/Uber.
The natural beauty and landscape makes this place fun to go to. Free parking is also a bonus however they get you back with price gouging. Hot dogs are 11 a pop, funnel cakes 13 and water is 5 bucks for a bottle. Shirts well let's not even go there.
Went to see a cover of Pink Floyd, they were good and the weather held out. However, they over sold the concert and unless you are willing to get to the concert before the doors open you won't have a spot to sit or even see the band playing for that matter. I'm all for whoever gets there earlier gets the better spots, but when spending 60+ dollars , I'd at least to to be guaranteed to see the stage even if I have stand.... All in all, unless the concert is at a time where I can get there before the doors open I am definitely not going back.
AMAZING view. This is such a unique venue to see a concert. I saw Marshmello here and I loved it.
Great hiking trails and photo spots after checking out the amphitheatre. Even on cold, rainy days you can find a way to enjoy the area. The museums and cafe are excellent as well.
This is a really neat place to visit. It's in the beautiful red rock hills outside of Boulder. A lot of people come here no just for the concerts, but to exercise. They walk the steps or jog or do other activities here. There is food available and a really great museum in the lower level that tell all about the amphitheatre and all of the artists that have performed here. Lots of concert posters and pictures. There is also a gift shop.
Such a beautiful place. Can t wait to see a concert there
absolutely amazing place to visit with or without a concert I compare it to seeing the ocean for your first-time don't miss it and often it will close at about 2 on a concert day in preparation so hit it early and don't miss the Hall of Fame there's a great big grizzly bear standing on its hind legs in a case and it's gorgeous poor thing
