Super cool to visit during the day! Watched people training, running up and down the benches. Rock formations are obviously the coolest! And the museum part is pretty gnarly. I think 1978 was the best year for performances here!
It was fricken cold when we were there but we were prepared. Lotsssss of steps! Great view of dt denver in the distance if you're standing to the right if the stage. Pleasantly surprised with the bathroom situation too, not just porta potties that I was expecting. You can also bring in your own non alcoholic beverages, unopened, and snacks too if you want to save some money.
This place is amazing. Awrsome music while surrounded by natural beauty and a great view of the Denver skyline. Saw Gov't Mule here. Sound quality was great. Good eats and good brews. Laid back atmosphere. Just awe inspiring to be here.
Best place for a concert. When Dan Reynolds admits that one of their songs was made for this amphitheatre he was not kidding. Out of state visitors might be a little winded, it is a pretty decent climb.
Went there to see Deadmau5 on Friday Nov 1st and sadly it was very cold! around 27 F.. I guess winter is quite early this year.. The venue is beautiful but going to the restroom turns into a real workout! there are so many stairs and the restrooms are located at the very bottom! beer price is very accessible at 10.5 for a double beer can! The sound of the place is very good and the area you have to stand in your row is very wide! However, I hate that some people will think they can stand behind or in front of you instead of going a row below or above. Also I hated that some people put blankets that will prevent you from standing in the very front of the bench to see the concert better. For an EDM concert at least you wont be sitting!!
Red Rocks is one of my favorite venues. I have been there a couple of dozen times. Red Rocks never disappoints. The staff is always friendly, the sound is amazing. My only gripe would be getting into the venue once the gates open. They need a quicker more efficient way to get guests inside, especially if you want outside all day to get in when it is hot out. Other then the prices for drinks, this place is amazing!
What a GORGEOUS place. Could walk around for hours enjoying the views...Show or no show...A must see!
Been in many cathedrals in my life but none have brought me closer the heaven than this one.
I've been to two concerts at Red Rocks and both were awesome! The one in September was a bit too chilly - however the July concert was amazing. It was Kaleo, and their music is nature themed and all their videos are filmed in natural locations. Seeing them in the shade of CO's red cliffs and massive boulders was a once in a lifetime opportunity. They were brilliant live and the venue was great. I don't buy drinks or food though, the prices are ridiculous as they are at any concert.
This is by far the best venue I've ever seen a show at. Amazing views, amazing scenery, incredible sound. It should be on every music fan's bucket list to go at least once in their life! Oh, yeah on a last note, definitely got to get there early and tailgate. It is a giant party in the parking lot! Just no glass.

Really pretty place I suggest everybody go there and visit the museum is nice to its in the basement but nobody seems ever go down there go downstairs and check it out it's pretty cool
Best place to hear music live & from what I hear, one of the greatest places to play live.
It was a unique and pleasant experience. Sound was really good as reputed. Drinks and snacks are typically priced as any event venue, $9-16.

Been to this venue twice for for 2 totally different genres of music. Both were completely amazing!!! One of the bands was of the type you get there as early as possible for and wait all day. Walker, who was supervisor of upper South security offered some awesome tips to help you smoothly get I into the venue! He was great! The venue is beautiful and a once a lifetime experience for anyone not from around here. I absolutely recommend making the time to come hike the area before coming to a show. Just get there early and be prepared to hike up, up, up!
It's a great place to visit during the morning/day for the sunrise, hikes, exercising, and sightseeing. The concerts there are some of the best in existence. They have great shows accompanied by good sound and awesome visuals (sometimes on the rocks on either side of you). It's one of the must-see landmarks of Colorado.

Amazing venue, especially at night. You can also come during the day and explore for free. Just make sure you're gone by 2:00 pm on days they have events scheduled.

A bucket list place to visit for a concert. Gorgeous surroundings provide that once in a lifetime feel when you are there.
Probably the best concert venue to see your favorite band, outside under the sky just makes people happy. Only warning is that there are steep stairs to deal with, altitude and drinking makes it fun or hard depending on fitness level.

Closed during Covid but recently opened up again to visitors for walking and pictures and hiking. Restrooms are open now and sorry but no events yet with actual audiences. Still a great spot for tourist and it can get busy. Bring water and Good shoes as trails are dirt and you can slip and fall.

Beautiful views and a phenomenal location for live music. Definitely buck list type place to see a live show. Go during the day to see everything that it is and then make sure you check it out at night for the show. Shows sell out quick so get your tickets ahead of time or check Stub Hub!

Great place to visit even if you are not going to a concert. I did not realize the history and how many great artists played here over the past many decades. We enjoyed the view and the history museum. It was also fun to see some local wildlife that was right out your door window.
Red rocks is amazing. We have been several times, but today was our first sunrise. The park opens one hour before sunrise and closes one hour after sunset. I was surprised by the number of people who came to work out.
If youve never seen a concert here, make it happen! The venue and atmosphere add so much to the concert. Essential Colorado entertainment experience!
Red rocks absolutely beautiful. Really glad I visited the place and will definitely be back again. The views from here are outstanding. On a clear day you can see all of Denver. Seeing the memorabilia from the bands that I grew up on was really cool.

Living in denver I am lucky as I have been to so many shows at red rocks that I take it for granted. The shows they put on are always spectacular and the atmosphere is amazing!
Some people I know complain about the stairs but really they arent that big of a deal because 90% of the show you are at your seat anyways.
Neat place but it was like an outdoor gym. There were people everywhere exercising and crawling up and down the stairs.
Absolutely best venue for a concert, have always had good weather, though. Takes time and a little work getting in and out, but the artists are always fired up being here. Judah and the lion was no exception this week. They had a "five star" performance. The views of the rocks and the city are magnificent

I m not sure which I love more, the memories for the quality of venue. Absolutely beautiful place. I saw my first show there in 1986. The weather was great the sound was fantastic. I have gone back just to walk through, wonderful way to spend a day.

As a local in Colorado I visited Red Rocks numerous times. It is always a MUST when out-of-town visitors come to visit us, regardless of the season.
If you are lucky (and rich) enough to catch a Live show, it is really special. Hope the weather will cooperate though

I was so disappointed I couldn't see anything and I had to stand the whole time. Our mistake was that we purchased general admission seats. We got there before the warm up band started and we couldn't find a place to sit. We stood the whole time and could not see much of the stage. Get reserved seats or get there really early to claim your spot in the GA seats.
There are no bands playing obviously but you can drive to the top and walk around and there are little viewpoints that offer great photo spots at the top. It was really cool to stand on the stage and see what the bands experience. The views are amazing and we saw several people parking at the lower lots and hiking up.
One of the cooler venues for a concert in the world. Sadly I could not attend any concerts while I was on vacation in CO, but next time I go I plan to attend a concert there. Just walking around the venue was so fun and insane to think this was naturally made by the earth. We did go to see an art exhibit which was neat.
Omg the best amphitheater i have been to in U.S.- well in the world really. Has the best acoustics & layout affording the most amount of visitors. Mostly though definitely the best part of this event center is the landscape surrounding it & how the design plays right into the continuing land/rock features- truly an amazing place & the only outside theater worth it for me- lol now I am Red Rock Spoiled & nowhere else will ever do

If you have not been here to watch a show, it is a must see. My biggest issue is the weed. The park brochure states it is illegal and it will be monitored but it is not. You will choke on it depending on the show you attend. Sad it is so out of control. I don't mind if you smoke it at home or maybe you smoke one before you go in but I have been to concerts where the same attendees smoked the entire time. Chronic indeed. Great sound, great experience. Red rocks is a great place to see a show.

Finally got to attend a show at the Infamous Red Rocks. It is a must for any music lover! There's a reason why it is chosen by most artists as the best venue to perform! Even when the music isn't going on, it's a great place get your exploration, it workout on! Open daily and free museum!
Seeing a concert here has been on my bucket list for decades. It's even more amazing than I imagined.
Best venue I ve been too hands down. I ve only been to one concert here and it blew my mind. Best concert I have ever seen. I seen Wu Tang Clan with Jedi Mind Tricks here on Halloween. It was my first time seeing a concert a red rocks. I ve been here in the summer, but despite it being very icy and cold it was hands down the best concert experience I ve had. The Lyft and uber pick up station ran here after the show was perfect, despite my driver getting lost and taking longer than expected it was the best setup I ve seen. Easy to find your destination. It s very beautiful and I think it has the best atmosphere for a concert. I cant wait to come back with my girlfriend to witness more amazing concerts!! I cant wait to also see my first metal show here!! I cant wait hopefully it ll be opeth, or Metallica!! My favorite venue best venue in Colorado no other venue comes close
