Beautiful place with Breaktaking views. Pets are only allowed when concerts and events aren't going on. Great place to run stairs or just to hang out. There is also a grill to grab a bite to eat.

Red Rocks Amphitheater vies with the Gorge Amphitheater in Washington State for my favorite concert venue in the entire World. The location and views are definitely awesome. The book an eclectic choice of genre's, and there's a concert for everyone. As young lads, we used to climb up on the rocks, and watch the concerts for free. Theyve since put a stop to that.

I rode the on my motorcycle from Denver. It's a beautiful area just into the beginnings of the mountain range. There is plenty of parking and lots of big rocks to see. The amphitheater is incredible and I'm sure seeing a concert there would be a unique experience.

The best place to go for concerts of any kind. The parking is not ideal. Know that leaving the venue will take some time. The views and atmosphere are incredible. They is nothing like a concert at red rocks!!

From far away while driving to the Red Rocks, I already knew that this place was gonna be good because of the huge rocks surrounding the place. But when I got there I was even l more amazed! This park had me blown away with its beauty and natural structures. Must visit while in Colorado.

It's Red Rocks, one of the best outdoor venues in the nation. Sound here is amazing as the location between the rocks is ideal. Smaller as far as outdoor venues go which means a more intimate concert. I highly recommend this amphitheatre to any music lovers out there.

Beautiful area to just go hang out or watch a show. They didn t have any bands we wanted to see when we were in Colorado but we did go just to walk up the stares and go through the museum. Really awesome history!

if you have not been to a show at red rocks you are missing out. Aside from it being an incredible natural than you, the history and the legend musicians and acts that have played here is unbelievable. I'm told that it is a venue on the bucket list of every major band. This is also a great venue to work out when there is not a show around the stairs make for an incredible workout, and go there on any nice day in the morning and you will see what I mean.

This is a worldwide known amphitheater that is amazing!! A true staple to Colorado and it attracts visitors from all over the world. Every great band in history has performed here and it's an hour to be able to play this venue. The theater is outside buried in the red rocks to make for amazing acoustics. It has a great view of the city and stars at night. In the summer they do Film on the Rocks which is really fun as well and they pick some good movies to show. Anyone who lives or visits Denver must check this out!

We had an unfortunate encounter with a Park Ranger. He stopped our group because our boys had climbed on a rock. We fully acknowledged the error and apologized, however it did not end there. The Ranger proceeded to lecture our group stating that he was "unsure who the adults were" and asked why we were "incapable of reading signs or following rules". He threatened to cite us, then said he would not if we "just left the way we came"...Escalating a situation that was completely under control and insulting adults in front of their minor age children was unnecessary and should be concerning to park management.

This is an awesome place to visit and experience! Every family needs to take in a concert here! This is one of America's best kept secrets in outdoor Amplitheaters. The sound here is extraordinary! The service is amazing at all of the vendor booths. You will be amazed!

Hands down the most incredible venue I've ever been to. I was honestly floored with how stunning the formations and area around the stage were. Keep checking their calendar - if your favorite artist is there at any point, it will be worth the trip. I guarantee it.

The best venue in the world to see music! I feel so lucky to live close by! The acoustics are top notch! The view is amazing! There is a muesum under the amphitheater that chronicals the history and all the bands that have ever played at Red Rocks. During a show there are many places to get a drink and food. The amphitheater and surrounding grounds are open daily during the season. There are also some nice hikes around the red rocks.

I've seen the place grow over the years into a better venue maybe I'm showing my age but unfortunately most of the entertainment the last few years wasn't in my wheelhouse and kept me from attending more shows. Hopefully the 2018 season has a little more variety.

A very gorgeous venue and park itself. I have been to three concerts here so far and I cant get enough. This is now my favorite venue in all of Colorado. The food is decent, I love the interior museum, the park and amphitheater is kept very clean. The park has a very scenic drive all the way to the amphitheater, the concrete seats are suprisingly comfortable enough to accommodate the show. Even without a show the park during the day is a beautiful place to be or hike or workout. I highly recommend coming here, especially for a show. Red Rocks is the best and I will always find myself here.

Such an amazing place to see! Bring lots of water! We just went for hiking, would love to catch a concert there one day! Love that we were able to drive to the top so those I was with that couldn't do as much hiking could still see the views. Loved it!

Amazing music venue and sightseeing stop...and a great place to work out too. As a music venue it offers great views and acoustics with a festive atmosphere (if pot smoke offends you this is not the place for you). Most of the seating is open with small reserved areas at front and back so get there early to claim a seat. Tailgate in the parking lot to avoid overpriced food and alcohol. They do pat-downs now so leave your Swiss army knife in the car.

For sightseeing and workouts you can access both the venue and the trails anytime there isn't a show, and it's well worth walking around. Tons of people are running up and down the venue steps on weekends... and doing all sorts of other crazy workouts.

Accessibility is good for those in wheelchairs... you can approach from the top or bottom though at the bottom you will need someone very strong to push all the way up the ramp... the reward is seeing the venue from sitting on stage.

Is there any rating above 5 stars? This place deserves it. Brought my partner's parents out here for a show and a once in a lifetime (the live very far away) musical and beautiful experience.

I had heard of the hike to get up to the amphitheater but I guess seeing it and ascending it are totally different. We made it though and the views and the sheer scale of everything took our breath away. Well that and the stairs.

Beautiful place. Absolutely stunning. Fantastic experience. Is there a better venue in the world for a concert?

Red Rocks Amphitheater is so wonderful. You can take adventure nature walks, hike, bike, picnics.
Its a great place to watch the sunrise and sunset. Be careful of rattler snakes of course, lots of wildlife to see. They have a gift shop and its not to far from really cool shopping stores in Morrison.
Red Rocks is a world renown concert venue. Buy tickets online or if passing through buy tickets at the ticket booth.

Watching a concert at Red Rocks has been on my bucket list for years, and it didn't disappoint! The views were amazing, and the acoustics really were so much better than in a traditional setting. The amphitheatre itself was clean and the staff were incredibly helpful. Will definitely be back many times!

One of the best parts of seeing a concert at Red Rocks is also getting to witness the appreciation that exudes from the musicians who play there. Magical in the sunshine and the rain. Worth it every time.

Iconic and beautiful venue that is appreciated by performers and audiences alike - we are lucky to have it so close. Over the years I have regularly met audience members who traveled over 1,500 miles to attend Red Rocks show. Performers consistantly can remember how many shows they have performed here - it is a magical place with a lot of stairs. Go potty if passing a restroom and go up higher in the stands for a more panoramic view :-)

Lots of stairs here, if disabled, plan ahead ! Their is some good food on site, but be prepared to pay through the nose for beer and wine.

Red rocks is beautiful. The acoustics are absolutely amazing. I highly recommend going for reserved seats, or you may end up standing trying to see over people's heads the entire concert.

Just an amazing place to see in person. We didn't go in the amphitheater because they were closed to do sound checks on an upcoming concert but you can hear the sound through the whole canyon and the sound is incredible. I will be looking for tickets to a concert here soon!

It's a good spot to stop if your passing through.
It was however overrun with locals who were exercising and jogging up and down the steps, I'm not talking just a few but over 30 and they all kind of gave off the get out of my way vibe.

It's Red Rocks, famous for a reason. Great sounds and sight lines. The level of smoke is unfortunate for an outdoor venue, hard to get away from it and it definitely detracts from enjoying concerts.

The magic of the rocks is not to be missed. A show here is always life changing. Pro- show tip; bring in an empty, reuseable water bottle and fill it inside at the drinking fountains. Easiest route in is top parking lot, but longest wait to get out at end of night. Best bathrooms are in the museum. Be prepared for rapidly changing weather whenever you visit.
