Beware of these guys... I purchased a new build th...

Beware of these guys... I purchased a new build that came with a stove, dish washer, fridge, washer and dryer and this place was the supplier. I should have checked the appliances more thoroughly when they were delivered, but since they came with tags and tapes still on them so I assumed they were brand new. Anyway, today after 6 months of using, i decided to clean the washer and found a Walmart women legging price tag and a child's sock wedged in the rubber guard behind the loading door!!! Oh and I live by myself btw. They freaking gave me a USED unit. You think you buy yourself a brand new appliance and end up getting someone's reject. Worse of all is that they put all the tags and tapes back on to make you think it's brand new. Makes me wonder if all my appliances from these guys are second hand.

We made our purchase of 4 items with Ravneet Raghav in Aug for delivery in Oct,2020. We did have to postpone our delivery date as there was a delay in our project by 2 weeks. We immediately informed Appliance Canada and our date was moved to 20th Oct,2020. Appliance Canada got the delivery date wrong and were about to deliver on 16th Oct and we had to stop them. Today when the delivery guy arrives he drops just one item instead of 4 items ordered. Right from Aug till the delivery guy arrived at our doorstep we were not advised once that our items are in back order and instead were assured all the items are ready. We have reached out to their customer care which keeps you on hold and forwards the call to an ext where there is no one to answer. I called the store to speak with the store manager and he is away , I ask for his replacement I get a voice message with no call back . I will not recommend this place for its after sale service. Their key focus is to get the sales going . They even took our full amount before delivery only to have one item delivered . Be aware

I changed my rating after the entire team got on board to convert a problem into a solution. The after sale service and the immediate intervention of the management compensated for all the inconvenience caused above. Thank you Appliance Canada for restoring our trust .

We drove to the Appliance Canada Vaughan store to look at a new set of appliances as part of a kitchen renovation. We were so pleased with the service given to us by Tony Di Piazza. He steered us in the right direction and we ended up getting better appliances for about $600 less than what we had priced out at Home Depot! The service was without comparison. Tony listened to what we wanted and offered us excellent advice and great choices. Thanks Tony!

I came here today on my own to get the specs for appliances that my husband and I need for our new home (fridge, stove, microwave, washer/dryer etc). When I walked inside, not one employee said hi or asked if I needed any help. The store was not busy as it was about an hour before closing time. There were at least 4-5 employees that were free and standing around talking to each other. They all saw me and made eye contact with me but no one said a word to me. I had several questions as almost all prices are scratched out and say ask employee for pricing ... only if employees acknowledged me. Last weekend when I came here with my husband, we were greeted. But as a young woman here on my own, I wasn t treated with the same respect. I will not be coming back here and we will purchase our appliances elsewhere where every customer is respected. Don t judge a book by it s cover!

Good afternoon. How are you ?

I have recently purchased a thermador wall oven, micro wave, warmer, 36 gas stove, fridge, dishwasher, hood fan, and also washer & dryer. All appliances were delivered on the day we requested. We noticed after the delivery that the delivery company had damaged our staircase when brining the washer and dryer up the stairs. We called your customer service dept. & they had told me to call the delivery company, they said it was not there job. I fought back and they said they said they will would call and to expect a call from the delivery company. We did receive a call that they would be coming by, but they never came. It took 4 calls to your company to get him there to fix the problem, he arrived there today march 22nd. Please keep in mind we received the appliances in the spring of 2015. Another issue we had was that the hood fan made a clanking noise when put on a high speed. The first service man was sent and he basically told us that the motor was the incorrect one for that unit and there was nothing he could do. We called your customer again because we were not satisfied with his answer, he also basically said that thermador did not know what they were doing by using that motor on that hood fan. Another service man was sent out after a few more calls were made and he said that there was nothing wrong with it and we had to live with the noise it made when turning off and on. This is not the answer I would expect to hear, when we spent tens of thousands of dollars. We called your customer service dept. again to complain but they said it was beyond them. I than asked to speak to the customer service supervisor. After a 15 min wait the customer service manager finally came to the phone, she is a brutal and a poor example for the rest of her department. I had asked her if someone in her office could meet me there to explain to me why this noise in normal. She said she could not and that we would have to call thermador. I did not buy it from thermador if I did I would call them. I bought it from appliance Canada. I finally convinced her to get another service man to come again, this was about 6-7 weeks ago, but we have still not got a call saying when they will be coming.
I invite you personally to come over and see for yourself. If you do great if not that s ok as well. I will never ever ever come back to your store for anything at any price. I am not looking for reimbursement, I just wanted to express my frustrations with your employees and your company.

I am extremely disappointed with my new GE stove from Appliance Canada, i have only had it a month and it has caused a major malfunction on a day i was right in the middle of cooking a turkey for a pre-Christmas dinner for my family! i called in a panic on the Saturday early in the day and i was told that no techs could help me not even on the phone, i had a house full of people and the oven just stopped cooking when the turkey was less than half done! disaster!!! i was told that i have to wait util Monday because even a big company like GE has no weekend service or technical help. today is now Tuesday and i have not received a call on Monday or today yet so while i write this have been am sitting on hold for the past 20 minutes. i am asking for a full refund and returning the stove within my return time under their policy. both GE and Appliance Canada are big companies so i am shocked they had nobody working the weekends to help with emergencies such as this. at the very least call me on the Monday as promised... i made them full aware that i dont have a stove to use and the big problem i had on a big day so i really just cant understand this poor after the sale service! still on hold... I will choose a company in the future that has weekend service available or at least after hours tech support...

Just to update in writing, I just got off the phone and was told I actually don t have a 30 day refund or exchange because the stove is used??? I was told that GE is responsible after the stove is used and it is their discretion on what they want to do and that they will try to fix it and or exchange it. that s all nice but im really now even more upset because when I am sold the unit I was told everything has a 30 day refund and or exchange if there is a problem or if it is not the right one. No one ever mentioned that it cannot be used? How do you not use the stove? I was never told not to hook it up. I didn t have any intention of returning the stove but due to the circumstances I don t understand why I am being told I cannot get a refund or exchange if I am not happy. So what s the point of having a 30 day refund policy, everyone usually hooks up their stove right away so nobody basically can return things they buy and are not happy with? I guess I have no choice to wait for the call from GE but I am not happy with the after the sale service and no longer trust this product. Your policy should be a lot more clear to people about no refunds or exchanges if the appliance is used!

Horrible customer service!! Purchased (LG) fridge with extended (5yr) warranty, which broke down within a year. Purchased a second LG fridge, which also broke down shortly after one yr. Purchased another extended warranty...however my warranty was nowhere to be found in their system. Turns out, warranty was purchased through a 3rd party company. But no one at Appliance Canada bothered to tell me that. They gave me the run around for 2wks. I've been without a fridge for 10 days and counting...if you cant help me, direct me to someone who can PLEASE!

Do not trust them!!! Terrible customer service, failed to delivery our appliances.
We purchase kitchen appliances from them on mid September and schedule delivered on early November. They called us to double confirm our deliver date and say they have all our appliances except hood on late October ....since our reservation got delayed, we postponed our delivery to end of November.
And now, Sadly they only have hood and dishwasher for us, other item such as cooktop, fridge, wall oven with microwave, washer and dryer, they do not have it and NO ESTIMATE DELIVERY DATE ........How am I supposed to live in my place without all those appliances. And yes , they give our reserved item away to someone without telling us and can not resolve the problem !!!! This is not acceptable!!!!!!! Again, DO NOT TRUST THUST THEM.

Had a disappointing experience from the salesperson Ryan Yun. For the start he wasn't very knowledgeable about their own products and had to check everything from his laptop for our questions. We were fine with that as might he might be new. But after the delivery we wanted to do exchange with them and when we inquired him he straightaway told that it cannot be done. We then spoke to Ali, the manager of the store and got it done (Thanks to Ali). Overall Ryan does not have intentions to help the customers.

He knew the exact measurements of our place and gave us advice on how their appliance would look in our space. He even gave us a great tuna pasta recipe! Canada appliance has a large selection of appliances, even some interesting brands like Smeg. We had an enjoyable experience here :)

We purchased all new appliances from Appliance Canada. Their customer service levels are second to none, they stand behind the products they sell with honour and integrity.

The purchase of our appliances was one of our largest investments. When it came time to receiving the appliances we came across some logistical challenges, including function ability issues with our major appliances, immediately upon receipt. Appliance Canada and their team Shane Nesbitt and Samira Sermez supported us through the entire process. Despite these challenges or issues were not caused by Appliance Canada. This company and this team really stepped up to the plate, met and exceeding our expectations on the resolution of the products they sold us. Appliance Canada has an endless selection of appliances. They can sell you any product, make and model and have great prices, as they have a tremendous team behind them.

The delivery for my washer and dryer has been delayed for twice. It is only supposed to be one month. I've waited for another 2 or 3 months. That is not the issue though. The thing is when I called my salesman for a discount due to the delay, he was rattling a bunch of things completely irrelevant, then hung up one me.....The guy in charging for delivery shouted at me over the phone cause I did not disconnect my old machines. I admit that I made a serious mistake cause I am new in the country, thought they would do it for me, but I certainly don't deserve this kind of attitude and service. Anyways, WORST service EVER.

Worst customer service was given to me after I made my purchase. They lied to me and said they had my appliances in stock to make a sell. I bought it in October and I've been living without any appliances for 4 weeks. I've spoke with the manager and left several messages. I haven't received a single call back or a estimation for the delivery. But, they're able to follow up for their payments very well!!!!!! Do not trust them. Awful customer service

Great sales people. But the delivery team is the worst. Our washer delivered on Saturday and was damaged. We were told a new one will be delivered on Tuesday, no call no show. We called them and they promised the follow day it will be delivered. Again no call no show. Again we called them, and they said the truck broke down. No courtesy call to the buyer. They then promised a Saturday deliver. Again no call no show. Waiting for delivery on 3 different days with a 4 hour window is unacceptable. This time they won't even answer our calls. All our call went to voicemail. I was heading to work Monday morning and I get a call from the truck driver that they are 40 minutes away. Zero notice.

don't know where to start - firstly, saleperson made mistake with color of my dishwasher and I asked him to do new invoice. On new one they forgot (or did by purpose?) to substract rebate. I asked to do third invoice. Nedless to say that all the time they don't answer the phone but strictly by emails. Then, item was not on stock, so they have to made fourth invoice as day of delivery and installation have changed. On the day of installation nobody called me, neither showed up (and I took half day off, and booked elevator in my buidling what is sort of nightmare). At 7 p.m. guy called, we to schedule installation without any idea that they should have came that day. On all four invoices and two phone talks, they confirmed and guaranteed several times that someone will come after 5 p.m. what I asked nicely. Now all of a sudden they don't install after 5 p.m!! There are no enough words to describe how unprofessional, disorganized and unreliable this company is! Never again anyhting with them!

Absolutely nightmarish experience with Appliance C...

Absolutely nightmarish experience with Appliance Canada. Bought a Whirlpool stove about year and a half with extended warranty. When buying was very specific about the fact, I am looking for self cleaning oven. Was totally misled by salesman ,who obviously could not care less as long he and the store made money Sold me a lemon, that even with extended warranty would not exchange. Their service person declared , he can not do anything with it, because there is nothing wrong with the stove. In the meantime, I can not clean it. It is dirty after trying to clean it several times. I would not recommend Appliance Canada to anyone. They have a very bad customer service and sales people and do not honor the extended warranty. In less then 2 years I have to look for another oven, but it wont be with appliance Canada ever,

Shane Nesbitt, the Sales Manager at the Concord store was our sales contact and I cannot say enough good things about him. Very knowledgeable and very patient. He was very easy to work with and was very patient with us when he had to change most of our appliances (after our initial order) due to change in our kitchen design. THANK YOU SHANE and your organization is fortunate to have someone like you working for them.

Bought a fridge, stove, dishwasher, washer and dryer from Appliance Canada. Shawn, the sales rep, was amazing to deal with. Upon delivery, our fridge was malfunctioning and kept beeping every 30 seconds.
I talked to 5 different customer service reps from Appliance Canada on the phone, and every single one of them, in some round-about way, said that it was our problem and we would have to deal with LG directly. Some of them were instantly dismissive and rude. Emails to head office went unanswered. Eventually, LG came to fix the fridge after 3 weeks.

I would never buy anything else from Appliance Canada. What an awful customer experience. They will not stand behind their products. If they sell you a defective product, it is your problem to deal with the manufacturer. Don t waste your money here.

Absolutely horrendous service. Stopped by the store with the price from competitors to see if they can match it. First of all: Waited for sales staff for over 10 minutes. Presented sales personnel with receipt from recent competitor. Was given an excuse that items I had on my list were discontinue (blatant lie as I checked later with manufacturer) provided with matching price for products that are far less superior and when I mentioned that to sales personnel, was completely ignored. Avoid wasting your time, shop somewhere else.

I wanted to purchase new appliances however, I was very confused about the entire process. I went into Appliance Canada and I met with their associate Ravneet. She made the entire purchasing process a breeze. The amount of knowledge that she had blew me away. She was able to explain things to me in a way that was easy to understand and made recommendations based my specifications. She took time to listen to what I needed and provided great advice. Her customer service skills are exceptional and I will be recommending Ravneet to all of my family and friends.

We purchased our appliances a year ago, putting a $490 deposit with a voucher received from our builder Mattamy, to find out that the voucher was a 4 year old expired voucher. It took them a year to let us know TWO days before the actual delivery that this voucher was expired. We should have been turned away much faster or let us know during the entire year when we were attempting to schedule delivery.
Awful, awful experience with Tony and their team. Would never, ever, even for a split second consider this place with terrible pricing.

My husband and I went there yesterday for our builders package. Steve was our rep, we had a great experience with him. Our appointment ran as scheduled, we were helped promptly. Steve was polite took the time to show us what our appliance package consisted of & then showed us several options of what we wanted to upgrade. Steve never once made us feel pressured or rushed to make a decision which we felt is important as buyers. He broke down all the pricing for us & answered all our repetitive questions. Walked in only wanting to upgrade the fridge, walked out upgrading all our appliances. Hopefully the delivery day goes as smooth. Thanks Steve for a stress free / positive experience!

Bought product. They missed delivery date. Finally...

Bought product. They missed delivery date. Finally delivered fridge. Plugged it in. It's dead. Called. Got run around. Booted from sales to customer service - back and forth. Can't return it because they say they can only return if they have a replacement. Not getting calls returned. They have no replacement in stock and nothing available for over a month. This has got to be a violation of some laws in Canada or Ontario. Sale of Products Act (ON) to be specific. These guys are owned by Leon's as is The Brick. Avoid all 3. The greed ripping apart the Leon's family has seeped into their retail empire. Our issue was caused by someone using the power cord to lift/drag the fridge. No help received from Appliance Canada.

Why is this store still open? I was forced to come in to pay my bill yesterday, so I can have a functioning washer and dryer during this pandemic. The store had customers and staff some of whom in my opinion displaying flu like symptoms touching various appliances. This is careless and irresponsible during a pandemic.

Had my appliances delivery scheduled for Saturday ...

Had my appliances delivery scheduled for Saturday Oct 5. Asked the customer service twice to provide an approximate time frame for delivery, never got it. On the day of delivery, was told by the truck driver he had my name on the delivery list but the appliances were not loaded to the truck. Called Appliance Canada and got transferred to customer service twice but nobody picked up the phone after 10 mins of waiting each time. Called the receptionist and told him I had to go to the US tomorrow and was told the manager was busy with some urgent matter and would give me a call back. It's been an hour but still no response. Called Appliance Canada several times again but no one picked up the phone...what can I do

Update Oct 19. - Appliance Canada has trust issues with its customer. It failed its appliance delivery TWICE because it did not receive a verbal confirmation from the customer...For the first delivery, I confirmed I would be there for the delivery by email and received both email and verbal confirmation from the salesperson. For the second delivery (due to the stove screen malfunction found after the first installation), I confirmed I would be there for the delivery via email and verbally and received a verbal confirmation from the salesperson. However, it believes a confirmation from the salesperson doesn't count. The confirmation has to come from a department called "Confirmation Department". The experience was disappointing. Just wanted to share the message so that other customers are aware the confirmation from the salesperson isn't valid. You need to receive a verbal confirmation from the confirmation department, email confirmation is not an option.

At Castlefield location, very knowledgeable rep was able to answer all our questions about purchasing a new refrigerator. He gave us options, stats, prices, availability, things to consider before we buy, was up-front about delivery delays and suggested we check out the clearance center at the Jane St. location if we needed something asap. He did not pressure us to buy. The showroom had all the major brands and a few I hadn't heard of, on display.
We were able to browse freely.
No appointment was necessary. Hand sanitizing procedure in place at the front door.
The Jane location is huge and they have an extensive clearance section where we found a few options. We are still looking but will go back to Appliance Canada when we are ready to buy.

Received appliances from here through our builder....

Received appliances from here through our builder. All appliances have become dysfunctional within 3 years. Dishwasher broke down, fridge lights malfunctioned and stove made strange clicking noise. Also our fridge was delivered with dent in door that we had to replace through manufacturer warranty. All products were Whirlpool. I'd recommend location with more reliable products.

Worst customer service experience!

Worst customer service experience!

We came here early October to look at appliances since we received an appliance voucher from our builder.

When we first walked in, the receptionist was friendly and told us to look around and someone will be with us. We waited a good hour before a sales associate was able to assist us with placing an order.

It is now December and tell me how I still have not received all the appliances I ve ordered. I m still missing my fridge and washer. When you call, they never have a firm answer of when it will be delivered. They say this Thurs and when you call on Thursday to ask about the delivery, they say sorry the order got delayed, it should come next week . I ve complained to the sales rep and they kept blaming it on the manufacturer and covid-19.

Just called recently to follow up on my order. They even had the audacity to tell me my fridge won t come until July 2021!!!! It s ridiculous to have clients wait 9 months for a fridge!!! We have a household to run here! If you can t fulfill existing orders then you need to should stop selling.

The worst part is... sales rep/customer service didn t even try to recommend another brand of appliance that may come earlier nor asked us if we needed a rental.

We recently purchased a KitchenAid Range and are very happy with it. We walked into the beautiful showroom and were not immediately hounded by the sales staff. We toured the the showroom at our leisure. We found the range that we did our homework on and inspected it. It was at that time that the Store Manager came by and asked if we needed any questions answered. We said that we were interested in the range. He proceeded to offer a Sales Representative to help with our transaction. Her name was Ranjit and she was very professional and knowledgeable. She gave us a great deal on the range. We needed the range delivered and installed quickly as our old range was no longer functioning. Ranjit made some special arrangements to fulfill our wishes. Range was delivered on time and installed professionally by an Appliance Canada recommended installer. The delivery men were careful in removing the old range and dropping off the new one exactly were it needed to be and without a scratch on our wooden floor. The installer came the same day and was a joy to work with and knew his stuff. There was a problem with one of the legs of the range. I went back the next day to Appliance Canada and met with the Store Manager. He was very sorry for my inconvenience and promptly remedied the issue. Installer came back that same day and fixed the leg. Thanks to the Appliance Canada Team for providing great product selection at very competitive prices and to the Sales and Service Team.

Really felt like the money we spent was wise for the features And product we wanted and Steve asked all the right questions. If you're shopping for appliances check this place out.

Fridge was delivered defective. Appliance Canada refers me to LG and takes no responsibility for delivering a broken fridge. Dealing with LG is equally painful. Essentially they want me to pay 'new' price for something broken and to be repaired. This is not over. But I will never buy from that store or LG ever again.

It's very unfriendly facility with lots of sales persons who are very busy. All appliances have no price tags, but if you ask for price sales associates treat you like they share with you big secret with face expression like they do huge favor. And the appliances are way over priced anyway.

Appliances are appliances. Tons of stores in Toronto and pricing is pretty much all the same. What separates Applinace Canada from the rest, is their service. They are amazing. Helped me when the manufacturer of my $8,000 range wouldn t and I am forever grateful for their service. Thank you!

HORRIBLE SERVICE ON ALL LEVELS OF THIS COMPANY FROM THE RECEPTIONIST TO THE MANAGERS AND CUSTOMER SERVICE MANAGER ESPECIALLY SIMARA . NO 1 CALLS BACK OR REPLIES TO EMAIL. EMPLOYEE TURN OVER RATE SUPER HIGH, MY FILE HAS BEEN TOSSED TO OVER 4 PPL SO FAR IN LESS THAN 6 MONTHS! I PURCHASED EXTENDED WARRANTY FOR MY WHIRLPOOL WASHER THROUGH APPLIANCE CANADA & EVERYTIME I NEED SERVICE I HAVE TO GO THROUGH THEM AND CONTACT THEM SEVERAL TIMES BEFORE GETTING A REPLY.

WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL, IT SHOULD BE RATED ZERO OUT OF 5!

My husband and I went looking for a new oven and hood fan. We thought a big place like Appliance Canada would be a good place to look. The guy at reception was friendly and told us to look around and then come back if we needed a sales associate. There are no prices on anything we looked at so we went to reception to ask for a sales associate. The guy at reception had to page 3 times for an associate to come to the front. Rather interesting when there were allot of sales associates in their offices who would not make eye contact when you looked at them. Finally a sales associate came to help us....Fawad Mohammad was his name. He looked totally bored and really not interested in helping us. He did not seem to want to walk to the back of the store to see the hood fans. My husband was asking questions about the hood fans and Fawad did not seem to know about them....My husband knew more. Then we asked about ovens...And again he was just so bored with us...Always looking around and so distracted. He went to his office to look at prices for us....He never even invited us to his office to sit while he looked up the prices. He was gone for almost 10 minutes...My husband went and poked his head in his office to see if he was coming back, and he told my husband to go back out of his office and wait for him. What took so long to look up prices for 3 items? When he finally came out he have us the prices. We asked for his business card and he did not seem to want to give it to is. He again kept looking around and then finally put his hand in his pocket and pulled out a card and very reluctantly gave it to my husband. We will not be purchasing any item from Appliance Canada and I will be sure to tell people not to go there. If we had of purchased from them it would have been well over $4,000.00. I guess they do the care about making sales.

UPDATE 2: delivery was done on time and profession...

UPDATE 2: delivery was done on time and professionally. Delivery guys were polite and helpful. Original negative impression is now gone and 5 stars is appropriate.

UPDATE 1: To be fair, I will not change or remove my original thoughts below but will update as the matter goes along. So, I found the phone extension of the general manager of the Vaughan location. I called him and left a voice message. He returned my call back within half an hour. He apologized and arranged the delivery of appliances within the following hour. Sean definitely knows what he is doing. I am updating this rating from 1 star to 3 stars. Will give it 5 stars if delivery goes well.

Has been trying to reach Appliance Canada for the last three days. No calls answered or returned. Lots of voice messages left by myself and my wife. Unacceptable lack of ANY customer service! I will post an update and may increase my review of this place after i finally make a contact with them. Let's see what they will offer. I will post an update.
