DO NOT BUY HERE!!! This was the absolute worst experience I've ever had in customer service. David G. was my "salesman" but he turned out to be more of a con-man instead. It is 100% all for profit and not about the customer. This was my first time buying a car and I was bullied/harrassed into accepting it, even though I stated that it was not what I was looking for. When I attempted to fix the problems caused by the staff, I was pushed aside and ignored and once again, took advantage of. I will never go back to this establishment and I would not recommend it for anyone else either!

It was obvoius from the start that they take a lot of pride in the quality of their product, and the buying process was straight-forward, quick, AND laid-back. Went down to look at a Honda fit and talk about financial options for both leasing and financing. They were a little vague about negotiating prices on a lease but otherwise they answered all of my questions very well. They were very kind and were not pushy or attempting to force me into a deal that I wasn't looking for. If you're looking for a Honda this is definitely a good place to go.

We came by a few minutes after they closed on Saturday and a gentleman was nice enough to let us look at the vehicle I was interested in.We said we would talk to the bank and be back Monday.We called and said we would be there late after my husband got off work ( he didnt change and works outside every day).When we got there the gentleman we spoke with was RUDE, acted like he was better than us and we were stupid redneck hicks.We didn't even get to look in the vehicle, and of course we wanted to test drive it to be 100% sure.The vehicle I was interested in had been there OVER 45 DAYS!They drove ours, told us what they thought ours was worth and ran the numbers.My husband told them what the bank had approved us for and he said "No, were not going to negotiate!" Didn't even speak to the manager!It was priced BELOW USDA VALUE!The vehicle was a wonderful price but the bank wouldn't approve us for more because debt to income ratio.They would have had enough HOLD BACK to have droped the price if they would have wanted to.I have been told before sorry but we can't get to the price you need, that happens a lot when you need a 7 or 8 seater vehicle in our price range, and I understand its just good busines; however ATTITUDE , and RESPECT MAKE all the difference in the world! YOU NEED TO TREAT ALL YOUR CUSTOMERS WITH RESPECT AND COURTESY!MONEY SPENDS THE SAME NO MATTER WHAT CUSTOMER YOU GET IT FROM!WONT BE BACK!

They have and express lane supposedly for routine maintenance. Unfortunately it is a joke. My wife was waiting 1hour for the "express" lane oil change and was told she would have to wait at least another hour.
This is not the first time!! about 4 out 5 times the "express lane" requires at least a 1/2 a DAY to accomplish what other service places do in 1/2 HOUR.

Service coordinator greeted me and got all the balls rolling for an All Points check on my car. I was kept apprised of the progress and was on my way in just over one hour. With a complimentary car wash! Thank you! The Apple Tree Honda team is the best!

Took car to dealership for oil and filter change. I specifically told the service advisor not to wash my car. I hand wash my car and have never been to one of the automatic washes. Dealer ignored my request even though my service record at the dealership had been annotated for several years NOT to wash my car. While car was being serviced, someone rifled through my glove box and door compartments. After leaving the dealership my wife discovered that our insurance card and registration card were not in our Honda folder located in the glove box. I was close to home but turned around and returned to the dealership. Found my documents in the drivers side floor. Spoke with assistant service manager who had no explanation for why someone went thru my car nor why car was washed. Said he would get this fixed. Reminded him that I had to have my car pulled out of the car wash line last time I was there. I have also noticed that when they removed the oil change reminder from my windshield they did not replace. In my opinion, the service department is sloppy and poorly managed. I am very concerned as to why my car was searched and the asst manager has no explanation. I even suggested they have signs that can be put into car that indicates not to wash -- asst manager told me they already have them. My opinion is sloppy, poorly run, and could care less about it.

I made an appt weeks in advance to have recall items serviced on my 2013 Odyssey. I got there at
8:15 am, and was told it would be after 12 noon before it was ready. I knew the work involved taking some things apart and that was ok. I returned three hours later, a little after 11am, and asked how it was going. Was told no work had yet begun on my car. I said I had set up an "appointment" for the work to be done? I was told, " An appointment means, I can come in and talk with a service representative." I asked if I might have a loaner car, to come back later when the work was done. "We do not have loaner cars." The asst. service manager said he could have the car done in 1 hour... It was now lunch time and I doubted the work would be done soon, as the mechanics would be taking their lunch breaks. I knew that work required longer than 1 hour to complete. I had to be somewhere at 2PM and left rather than continue to have this place give me a load of ______!!!

Ridiculously long waits at the service center even with an appointment. I m talking 1 1/2 hours to change a license plate bulb after they had already taken my car back into the bay. Save yourself time and money and go literally anywhere else.

Went in to look at used cars and met Donald in the rain. So very helpful without being pushy. Super knowledgeable about every car I asked about, I could tell he was an experienced salesman. He actually listened to what I said and showed me several different cars that met my needs without going over my budget. I will definitely be going back to him when I'm ready to buy a car. We visited Apple Tree Honda at the end of our lease to look into either leasing another car or buying out our lease. We worked with Tony Atkins who provided a very thorough and pressure-free experience. Tony had us test-drive a couple of our top options, explained all of the upgrades we would be get with the new lease options, and also went over the lease buy-out numbers with us. We inevitably decided that due to the ridiculously low miles we had on our 3 year lease (11,000), that the best decision for us was to buy it out. Tony lost a sale on us, but due to his no-nonsense approach and thorough vetting of our options, he gained a future customer. Highly recommend Tony as a great salesperson to work with at Apple Tree.

My wife and I moved to Asheville last week, and after driving across country in a Uhaul, buying a car was the last thing I wanted to do. But Peter and his team welcomed me in, and had me out the door with a brand new Civic, at an amazing price. Highly recommend this location, but specifically ask for Peter. Thanks again!!!!

Please check the overall review rating on every account you can beforehand unlike i did. The poor rating speaks for itself. Wish I could give 0 starts. Extremely unprofessional and careless of the customer. I have been in contact with Bill Caesar and other representatives via facebook messenger, emails, texts, and phone calls for the past 3 days to come look at a car I was interested in buying. I had a scheduled time to come this afternoon, OUT OF STATE BY THE WAY. Jamie, a sales manager, even confirmed my appointment this morning. I called just hours before heading there to ask a few more questions & was told the car had already been sold. No one even notified me about this!!! If I weren t to have called, my family and myself would have driven all the way there for no reason! I understand cars will be sold at first come first serve, but no one even notified me about this! Luckily, Savannah was very helpful with trying to find another similar car, but unfortunately the one I had my hopes set on was sold. She was also the one who let me know the car was sold. Thanks Savannah for being helpful, but I will make sure to avoid business with this place in the future.

Our 2013 Honda had all the idiot lights on. Set a service appointment and they told me it would be $224 to diagnose the problem. While waiting they hung some things on the wheels and then gave me a report on the wheel alignment was out. Scamming for money!

The driver flat spotted the front tires by turning the steering wheel all the way to the right and then back while the car sat still.

This place use to be a good dealership, now it is a scam joint.

On my way home I passed and stopped at a Auto Zone. They downloaded the codes and it was a misfire of a spark plug. I will replace all of the plugs for less than $50.

Go anywhere but Appletree Honda for service.

Excellent service the entire staff at Apple Tree Honda is friendly ! Angelo is phenomenal, he helped me out a great deal, and even lowered the price down. There was no harassment to get me to buy anything other than what I wanted. Angelo is a very polite and professional man and I would absolutely do business with him again, I was able to get my dram car quick and easy with no problem what so ever.

Every time I went to the dealership for service I waited an excessive amount of time for service. The best example is when I asked for two things: oil change, replace a headlight. Two hours later these things had been done supposedly, and I drove home to realize that the headlight had not been replaced. I had to drive back across town for them to do it.

Another time, I took the car in for a seatbelt issue covered by a recall. They estimated that it would be a 2 hour wait. 3 hours later, I could not get an answer on what was going on. 6 hours later they finally came out to talk to me, told me they had identified the problem and would order a part and that I needed to take my Honda in again. I took a day off work for this visit (to sit in the dealership for 6 hours without it getting fixed). A friend of mine told me they kept her car overnight once and did not see why this was a big deal.

The dealership will always try to upsell you on services you don't need. Before they do anything to fix the car, they bring you a long list of repairs you allegedly need. I have found the folks at Honda/Acura (the independent service shop NOT affiliated with the dealership) to be easy to work with, reasonably fast and honest about what actually needs to be fixed. I now boycott the dealership entirely and go to Honda/acura services & parts.

My appointment was at 1pm, the car was sold at 10am and they called me to confirm my appointment at 11:30 already knowing the car was sold. I wish I would have looked at others however the process just to see what I could get took to long. The salesperson said they do not haggle prices but they do. Plus advice on trade ins- your better of selling to private party. That's what I did and got a lot more for a down payment.

I needed a new car upon arrival in the U.S. (was living in the Caribbean for 17 years) and found my dream car through Apple Tree Honda and was connected with Tim Willis, the Internet Sales Director. Tim made my experience seamless and easy - walking me through every step via the internet and phone, helping me with insurance, getting an outside mechanics thorough review and diagnostic on the car - everything that I needed in order to walk off the plane and in to my new car upon arrival! I couldn't believe how easy it was to handle everything over the internet, and was every bit as delighted in finding out my car was as clean and perfect (if not more so) as it had been described on the internet! I've since noticed many other cars in my area with the same Apple Tree Honda license plate in the front of their car and can understand why they are so popular! I'd recommend their company to anyone and especially Tim W, whom made my experience stellar! Thank you to the entire team, but especially Tim W!

Expecting our first kid in a few weeks, I'd had my heart set on a used Pilot for our new family car. After coming into Appletree over a month ago and meeting with Sammy, I'd concluded it just might not be in our budget. After more research, I came back to Sammy who was wonderful to work with and helped us find the perfect Pilot in our budget, and worked with us to get us driving the car home that day. Sammy was patient, not pushy, polite, professional, and super helpful from the start. I'd recommend anyone to go to AppleTree and work with our new buddy, Sammy! Thanks for helping us get our family car upgraded to exactly what we wanted!

Gene Snyder has been the sales associate I have made my last two purchases with and he by far is the BEST!!! Gene went above and beyond to make this a great experience. The worst time to have auto problems is on vacation 400 miles from home. That's what happened. To make it worst we were pulling a camper. We are campers and had pulled into an Ingles to resupply.

Three years ago we purchased a starter battery at our hometown Honda dealer. The warranty would expire in days. Boondock camping has taught me a great deal about batteries. Three months ago I knew the Pilot's starter battery was slowly going bad. We returned it to the dealer who said the battery was good. It wasn't, it was surface charging.

The Sunday morning we left home at 5 AM we had to jump start the Pilot. Two or three days later it failed to start as we prepared to move to a different campground. Fortunately, we have a Honda portable generator to charge the camper's battery.

This whole saga last 90 minutes. At Ingles we got a recommendation to go to Appletree. We called Mark, discussed the problem and got an address. The GPS took us to Appletree's. The service tech diagnosed the problem and predicted the battery that showed good would be dead in 20 minutes. It was dead 8 minutes later. He replaced the battery and we were on our way. He also said that the specs called for a bigger battery so he replaced it with the correct battery.

These three made the best out of a bad situation. They were courteous and professional. The technician was technically competent. They got me back on the road in the shortest time possible. If I could only talk them into moving to my hometown <GG>

Love this place. Service is great. Service technicians keep in touch when your car is in the shop and let you know about progress - just like when a patient is in surgery.. My husband and I will be trading in one of our cars for another Honda because of their great service, among other things

We had some issues with the car making noises after we purchased the vehicle and Donald was quick to get us back in and get it fixed. We will be back with our future trade-ins and purchases. Donald really went the extra mile to help us out, he even answered his cell phone when he wasn't working! Thanks y'all :)

This review will seem very odd, since I didn t get my hoped-for trade-in appraisal nor did I leave with the car I wanted.

But I want to let readers know how well I was treated by Jonathan and the rest of the preowned staff yesterday. What might have been awkward or disappointing was made easy and friendly. They worked hard to make the pricing work on both ends, but we all came up short. They were honest about it, and my time was not wasted.

I will come back in future to work with them on a car purchase. Thank you for a positive experience!

Sales director told me the deal was secure and my salesman would contact me the next morning to complete paperwork. Didn t get a call by noon, so I called them. They tossed me around because Liz didn t want to give me the news that they sold it the morning I was to pick it up. Very dishonest. I won t bother them for another vehicle purchase ever.

I recently bought a new vehicle and Salesman Peter J. Estrada handled the deal. What a great experience. Peter is extremely knowledgeable about Honda vehicles and was great to deal with- a real professional! He made the car buying experience a pleasant one.

If you don't have good credit don't go there. I told the sale person my credit was bad and didn't even let me test drive the car I wanted. Ran my credit and within 15 minutes told me, we have to work some stuff and we'll call you. Out the door, never saw the car I had inquired online, never was told what my car was appraised for and within 5 hours I got an I'm sorry message. If you need a dealer willing to work hard to get you what you want. THIS ISNT IT! Only one inquiry on my credit and NO!

I took my '06 Ridgeline there for an A/C performance decline. Their diagnosis said that I needed a new compressor (total estimate at $1700). Decided against and subsequently took to an independent mechanic who did not find anything wrong with the compressor. After recharging, system blows cold air (38 degrees). Might have slow leak somewhere but I'm fine playing the wait and see game. Mechanic put in dye to show where leak is occurring (if at all). Just updating my post from 1+ year ago. My A/C is still working great WITHOUT the $1700 compressor I was told that I needed.

She let us take our time and never seemed bothered by our millions of questions. The whole process was smooth and simple (if only it had been quick!). This is a review for the Sales Department. I was in the market for a new car. I walked into Apple Tree Honda knowing I wanted the 2019 Honda CR-V EX. But I wanted to test drive it first, making sure it was the right car for me. Once we pulled into the lot, we were approached by a lovely lady named Stephanie. Now I was already hesitant of dealers because of a precious experience with another dealership earlier that week. But Stephanie was different. My experience at Apple Tree was exactly how car buying SHOULD BE! We took the test drive...and I fell in love with the car. Because hello...it's a Honda! There was no pressure to buy the car that day and Stephanie was so friendly and helpful. We ended up buying the car and took it home anyway. I have nothing bad to say about my experience. If you are a woman shopping for a car alone, walk into Apple Tree and ask for Stephanie! She is a GEM!!!

I dropped by Apple Tree Honda s service department mid morning Monday, 10/06/14, without an appointment in hopes that I could get help resolving a problem with not being able to manually unlock my 2013 CRV with either the valet key or the fob key. A service rep by the name of Richard Springs offered to help. After trying to unlock the car with the use of each key and then a little trouble shooting, Richard then asked one of the senior technicians to take a quick look.

While the car was driven over to an open bay to allow the technician to investigate and perhaps eliminate a couple of possible problems, I headed to the service waiting area. It seemed very likely that I would need to make an service appointment to have a thorough diagnosis performed. I was so delighted when Richard came over some 10 minutes later to inform me that the problem had been resolved. We walked out to car and Richard demonstrated that the car now could be unlocked with either key. I offered my appreciation and then asked for the name of the senior technician. There was a big smile on Richard s face as he said, Richard Spring . Yep his dad. Well they made quite a favorable impression with me. The whole thing was just a great customer service experience.

Bad service for something as easy as an oil change...

Bad service for something as easy as an oil change. Dishonest staff that is only out to make a buck. My retired mother was sold an alignment during an oil change visit when she brought the car home I looked for tire wear that might show an alignment problem and I see the tires needed to be rotated but showed no other wear. They sold her the most expensive thing they could without looking at the tires.

They also complained to her that they only do oil changes by appointment and had to work her into their schedule, but found time to do an alignment. They tried to sell her a transmission fluid change even thought the car only has 30,000 miles.

I will definitely be taking my service elsewhere.

If I could give this dealership negative stars, I would do it. My husband and I had been to every major car dealership in the area shopping for a new car. At all the other dealerships, we felt like celebrities...all of them wanted our business. However, despite the fact that Honda was number one on our list, it is by far the worst dealer. They give Honda a bad name.

We went Appletree Honda on a weekday afternoon, and walked around for 30 minutes without anyone coming out to greet us. My husband went inside to ask for help, (something that we didn't have do to anywhere else), and they still didn't come to assist us. We were very ready to buy a car, but they were too "busy" to notice (saw several of them playing on their phone through the windows)....After asking and waiting for help for over an hour, we left. My husband called Appletree to complain, and the sales person he was transferred begged us to come back, so we turned around...(we really wanted to drive and buy a Honda). However, when we got back to the dealership, my husband went back in to let them know we needed help...but surprise, surprise, we waited and waited...but no one came to help again. By this time, my husband was angry and called the manager, but all he did was make lying excuses...it's sad they didn't want our business.

We decided to drive to a Honda dealer in Atlanta, GA, and loved how we were treated...we bought a brand new Honda that day....so sad they didn't want our $45,000...we'll never darken their door again, you shouldn't either...we've sent several of our family and friends down to Atlanta, b/c of the great deal we got ($8,000 cheaper than Appletree)...but more importantly, no one should be treated without respect when you're spending that kind of money, they must not need it.

Five years ago, I had a serious issue with a mechanic who "specialized" in exports. His shop's error almost ruined my Civic. At that point, I decided to take my Civic elsewhere for service. I was a little skeptical of going to a dealership, but decided a Honda dealership would know their product best and scheduled an appointment at Apple Tree Honda. I was not disappointed. I had the great fortune of meeting Jason Earley, who is consistently professional, respectful in his automotive discussions (with men and women) and always makes me aware of costs associated with the maintenance, and sometimes, repair on my car. I had such a favorable experience, my husband started taking his Accord to Apple Tree. We have been treated so well that we would not think of taking our Honda anywhere else.

I am extremely happy with the service I have received from Apple Tree Honda in Arden. I recently purchased a vehicle from them. Tony Atkins was the salesman that helped me with the purchase of my vehicle. He took the time to show me around and guided me with information and stats of the car I was looking at. He answered my questions and I told him what I wanted. They did not have exactly what I wanted in stock then he went the extra step and with in a few weeks I had the car I wanted. He kept in touch with me and let me know when it arrived. He has already followed up to see if I am pleased with my purchase. He has guided my husband and me every step of the way.
