The atmosphere when eating here is really nice and relaxing.
The food is visually amazing as the outside view from the tables or booth.
The muffin I had was the Apple Strudel, it was fluffy and easy to eat.
Their Eggs Benedict is visually stunning and taste just as it looks.

I loved the ambiance and the details of this hotel. It was so cute and it smelled of cinnamon and nutmeg throughout. We watched ET on the outdoor family screening with popcorn and blankets! The only issue we had was when we were checking out my mom asked if she could buy the bathrobe. The guy at the counter must have been new and still needs a little training. He obviously had no idea how to help us because as he said there was no sku attached to the bathrobe so he didn t know how to ring us up. We asked to speak with the manager and he said that his manager was on break. We had just spent over $300 in the gift shop on presents for everyone in the family and the bathrobe was not the same one in the store that is in the hotel. We offered to pay the $250 fee that we would be charged if we had broken or stolen something from the room and the guy at the front desk literally grabbed the robe out of my mothers hands and said he absolutely could not help us! Besides that the hotel was lovely and the little touches were fabulous. It s just such a shame to have such a nice experience be marred by customer service ineptitude.

Potatoes were served cold and tasted reheated with our omelets which were good plus they load the table with plates and do not attempt to clear them during the meal to give you room on a small two person table
Al so our waitress did not check on us enough and we had to remind her to rephil our coffee and water

The restaurant is good but not great. They do have great ranch dressing but I am a ranch dressing fanatic. Most dishes are great but some are not my style. It's a wonderful place to eat when you've been there enough to know what you like. Holidays can be crazy there and the holiday food wasn't that great. One of our party had to send food back as the meat was barely cooked. I don't expect that is the norm as this is a great restaurant and it had to be a rare mistake (no pun intended). I recommend this place and I am picky about restaurants. Eat here and you won't be disappointed.

Had lunch there with two of my girlfriends and the food and the service was excellent. Kenny was our server and very attentive. Their rosemary trout with kale, mushrooms and rice mixture was wonderful. As well as the mac and cheese with five cheeses, sausage and chicken and the farm house burger was also excellent. Highly recommend that restaurant.

Apple Farm has a delicious breakfast menu. Everytime I visit I love getting the blueberry pancakes- they are delicious and huge! If you have a larger group I recommend making reservation, on a busy day without a reservation the wait will be over half an hour, if not over an hour. Overall, excellence service, food, and views!

The Apple Farm is a quaint, classic place to stay or just to stop for a meal. It has a fun old-timey orchard feel that fits well within the atmosphere of San Luis Obispo. The rooms are comfortable and the food is great.

Arrived at this well situated inn to the pleasant surprise of local Chardonnay and fresh baked cookies by friendly front desk staff. The buildings were covered with layers of plants. Their gardeners deserve a bonus because this is one of first hotels that was pleasant enough to wander. In one corner is a water wheelhouse and in an another if a restaurant in a Victorian house. The food was delicious but the highlight of our breakfast was the boysenberry jam. Reminiscent of Cracker Barrel, the food was home style. The room was spacious, clean, and elegantly decorated. The king size bed was comfortable. The bathroom shower stall was small and the door hit the toilet but I appreciated the environmentally conscious soaps and lotions. A great place to stay in S.L.O.

The perfect get-away vacation spot, that's right around the corner! Tucked away right off the 101, Apple Farm is quiet and relaxing. The staff is courteous and considerate, the Housekeeping staff is amazing! They even refilled our ice bucket, which was outside next to the hottub, with a bottle in it!! The restaurant is filled with tasty offerings, unlike any hotel-attached-restaurant I've ever been to. Our waiter dashed off to get club soda when we had a spill, and they happily re-seated us at the very hint that we were uncomfortable. I read a review that said this place was dated and the furnishings showed its age; I did not find this to be the case. The rooms were furnished well, though they are a bit cozy (tightly packed) and the decor is southern country. Don't you dare leave without trying the cider.. you can get it in the lobby and take it everywhere with you, as often as you like.

Enjoyed breakfast here with my daughter on our back from a trip. Food was good, the biscuit was huge. The bloody Mary was a bit off but it's hard to make a bloody Mary that pleases everyone. Service was great with the exception of the waiter vanishing once we were ready for the check. I would stop here again.

Took my brother visiting me at Poly from out of state here for breakfast. Food was great, left with full stomachs and food left on our plate. I recommend the omlets, but my brother had the pancakes and was NOT disappointed. Definitely coming here again!

I was skeptical when my wife booked our weekend at the Apple Farm; sounded a little to foo-foo for a guy. But we had a great time in the Millhouse suite and really enjoyed the whole mini environment they created!

While we haven't started at the Apple Farm, we did have a big family gathering there for breakfast. Our server was nice and friendly. The service was quick considering the busy time of day and our group size. The breakfast was delicious.

My wife and I stayed overnight and absolutely loved it. Room was clean, staff was very friendly and accommodating, the grounds were beautiful. The restaurant was great as well! Only complaint is that the cooked green beans that came with my dinner were basically raw. Other than that it was perfect

Always nice to stay here! They greet you with homemade cookies and usually you get a $5 voucher per person when you stay there for something at the restaurant or cafe. Highly recommend at least walking in and seeing what they have! We ended up with an extra free half dozen cookies because of our vouchers

Went here for brunch with a friend. This place is near the Holiday Inn Express, so it's no surprise if there are out-of-towners. The food was pretty good and portions are quite large. Didn't have time for cake, but maybe next time!

I really enjoyed my July 2020 stay at the Apple Farm. Almost everything was closed, considering COVID. But we still managed to get a room in Trellis Court. The room was cute and comfortable. The staff was responsive and friendly. I'd recommend this establishment to my friends if you want to enjoy a beautiful property in SLO for a few days. I would have loved to explore some of the other offerings on this property, but they were understandably limited. Looking forward to my next visit!
