Greeted with fresh baked cookies and champagne, the staff was friendly and hospitable on check-in. The gardens surrounding the buildings were gorgeous and lush. The room was clean and well-deecorated. The bed was soft and comfortable. The food on-site was delicious.

We were initially rather surprised when we first arrived as it was a bit more Motel like than we'd expected.. But it turned out to be the best place we stayed in along Route 1!
We had a lovely room, enjoyed the hot tub, and all for a fairly reasonable price too!

Nice place to browse for gifts to bring back home. Had breakfast in the dining area and it was just ok. Ordered coffee and was only refilled once. I enjoy coffee with my breakfast and the area where we were sitting only had one other table occupied, so it wasn't busy enough to forget to pour more coffee for us..

Wonderful hotel to stay if you ever come to San Luis Obispo. Near downtown, Great room and service. The price can be a bit expensive but they have groupon deal so you can check it out before booking from them. They serve coffee and hot, fresh apple cider every day. Complimentary white wine for whoever over 21 and cookies for everyone at check in. The decorations of the hotel and rooms are vintage, flowery design but does not feel old at all.

The location and amenities were fantastic. We had a rather unpleasant experience with our sleep the first night. Our neighbors were very loud at 3am and management was no help asking them to quiet down.

The atmosphere was nice. Kind of old school, but still clean. The food was okay, nothing special. It was an okay choice for breakfast. If you like standard, no frills food, this would be somewhere to try if you've never been, but there are better breakfast choices in slo.

It has been awhile since I had breakfast at the Apple Farm. I always looked forward to it as it has such a warm and comfortable vibe. The food has always been exceptional as well as the service. It still has a wounderfull vibe and the service was great. Unfortunately the food left allot to be desired as to value. $23. for a cup of tea and a poorly prepared omelet. Sad. I was warned that the Apple farm has become an overpriced tourest attraction and I am afraid to say the what I heard was become the truth. As a local I will not be going back. There are plenty of other places to eat in SLO that have better food at a better value.

I cannot believe I have lived in SLO county for 2 years and have NEVER been to this place. This is my TOP breakfast/brunch place in SLO. They have everything you d ever need here. It s not only a restaurant but also a hotel, retail shop, AND bakery. A quadruple threat if you ask me. It may seem pricey to some, BUT you get A LOT in return, trust me. The crab cake Benedict was memorable and oh so delicious, although I do wish it came with the traditional English muffin. However, I asked for a biscuit as my side and let me tell you, that was the best darn biscuit I ve ever had and I ve been to the south. It was buttery and dense and just overall amazing. They also give you a small bowl of their HOMEMADE, WARM, boysenberry preserves. I wanted to rub it all over my body, that s how good it was. I will for sure be back and look forward to bringing others here as well. Thanks Apple Farm, you da best!!

While not far from city center and Cal Poly, you feel like you are in the country. We stayed in the hotel (not the terrace rooms). The lobby was so warm and welcoming, with wine, coffee, tea, lemon water, cookies and scones available for arriving guests.

Awesome little Hotel in San Luis Obispo. Short drive to downtown and night life. They have a great restaurant on site and a great bakery. The boysenberry is off the hook. Romantic rooms with a fire place.

We went to get dinner to go. The staff were very helpful and hands on about recommending food. While we were waiting for our food, we looked around the shop. It has a lot of cute, quality gifts.

Perfect quiet getaway! We honeymooned here almost 16 years ago and Apple Farm is just as charming, inviting and relaxing as it was then. All the top notch services of a bed and breakfast on a grand scale!

Stayed in a room in the main Inn. The entire place had an old fashioned country decor akin to staying at "Grandma's House." I mean that in the coziest way possible. The staff was helpful and friendly. The complimentary cookies, hot cider in the lobby, and daily wine tasting were a nice touch. I really appreciate that you could receive a $5 credit at the restaurant for every day you choose to forgo a room clean as a reward for going green.

This review is for the restaurant only.

I would highly recommend Apple Farm for their breakfast. I thought their lunch/dinner items were just OK (burger, open faced turkey sandwich), but really enjoyed my breakfast here. We tried the ham and eggs and a scramble. Everything came out fairly quickly and tasted homemade with simple, fresh ingredients. The breakfasts come with a biscuit or muffins, and we got to try both. The boysenberry jam they serve with the biscuits was delicious! They also serve a tasty boysenberry pie.

The standout item of our breakfast was the fresh cinnamon roll. The dough was reminiscent of a croissant and covered in icing. I would go back for their cinnamon roll alone!

Service was friendly and during each visit we got seated quickly despite it being graduation/Father's day weekend. Overall, check this place out if you're looking for a homestyle, charming spot to dine!

I was disappointed with this my 4th visit to the Apple Farm. They no longer have their brand of Tea or any Tea at all. Prices have jumped extremely high and the variety of items has diminished. I doubt I will be returning.

The hotel and staff was excellent, the restaurant was a disappointing meal. There are so many other great restaurants in SLO don't make the mistake of eating there even with the discount coupons they provide.

Me and my wife love Apple Farms resturant. We always come for breakfast when we drive up to SLO. We brought my wife's parent up this time and it was there first time. They loved the food and drinks. Hehe they started early. But when in SLO, your on vacation and Apple Farms has the drinks and food ready to help kick start your day.
