Comfy bed, a little dated decor, but that's to be expected. Heated pool was heated, but barely. Great restaurant attached to Inn. Yummy!

We went in for breakfast and we're greeted very warmly. We were seated right away and our food was very delicious
Our visit was fantastic! Our room was very good and the food very rich.
Very cozy and lovely place. It never fails to meet my expectations! I highly recommend it. Remember to get the apple cider at the lobby!
Really good food and it came out fairly quicker than expected. Service was excellent.
A super interesting hotel. Clean, nice and very well maintained. The bed is very comfortable. In the room there was a fireplace. The cockies are very tasty.
The hotel was great and the restaurant was amazing as was our server Danielle
I tried calling the Apple Farm and they were super rude! Hung up on me before I could even ask the rest of my question! If that's the customer service before even walking in the door, I'm glad I didn't waste money booking a room or table at their restaurant.
The apple dumpling was excellent! Their breakfast was way over priced!
Great atmosphere and everyone is very helpful. The bakery goodies and daily wine reception are fabulous.
Good food, good size room. Very good hosts with free cookies and cider!
I really enjoy my time here the staff is friendly the food is reasonable but the view is amazing. Well kept grounds, I've yet to stay in one of the rooms but that is definitely on my to do list.
Everything was fantastic. Food, atmosphere, rooms, amenities. We'll be back!
Incredible little hotel. Every room is beautiful and if you can be sure to get the suite! Private little therapy spa in the 'backyard' of each one!!
Clean, well kept, great landscaping, good food and bakery!
This is a great place to get breakfast. I would recommend the apple cider and pretty much whatever you get to eat tastes good. Some meals come with a choice of scones or muffins which are amazing. You can look around their little shop or even get something from the bakery.
This was a fun and delicious stop. Service was quick and courteous.
Very citchy great service great food... A little expensive for what you get...
We've always like apple farm.. have stayed as a guest, eaten there many times. Always great and kind people working there.
We had a great stay here in July. The front desk staff were very friendly (and the 'welcome' cookie was a nice touch!). The location is right off the highway (though you'd never know it from the grounds - very peaceful location next to a More
Very authentic and picturesque. Not bad for short stays. Very rich breakfast and very friendly staff
The food was amazing, I immediately got a table with a great view, and the service was great.
The pictures are a bit misleading, the Apple Farm is more of a motel than a hotel. The main buildings are designed in the charm of the apple farm, the rooms sufficiently clean. For a night absolutely okay.
This review is for the Apple Farm restaurant we came here for breakfast cause I'm a breakfast kinda guy and it was very good. I had the Mediterranean Omelet that bursted with fresh flavors and had Hollandaise sauce on it ( you can't go wrong with that sauce). my wife had the seven grain pancakes that she enjoyed the nutty flavor . It was very nice enjoying our breakfast in the gazebo.
Really a 3 1/2 . The room was awesome and the staff was great and very helpful. The bakery and restaurant is great also. Parking is not the greatest.
Always had good meals here but the meal today was very disappointing. My chicken salad on croissant with completely flavorless. My girlfriend had chicken enchiladas that were tough and stringy and didn't taste very good. I am saying this only for today. I've had several meals here in the past and they were always very good.
Very friendly service, cute little gift shop. Staff was very helpful and feiendly
Apple Farm is a cozy, quiant dining and unique shopping experience. The food is down home comfort food. I recommend the turkey open face sandwich, the Mac and Cheese and the meatloaf. However, all their food is great. I also highly recommend the fruit cobblers. They're served hot and a la mode. The store and inn are beautiful around the holidays.
The staff here is amazing, the food is amazing, the whole property is amazing,in, so you're probably wondering why did I review this at 3 stars. It's the beds. At a hotel you end up spending the majority if your time sleeping in the bed, and although everything else about this place is awesome, the bed was one of the most uncomfortable beds I'd ever slept in. Despite 95% of this place being so great, I'd only ever come here again for the restaurant, I would never stay in a room again u less I somehow found out they got more comfortable beds...please get more comfortable beds.
It is a very nice location. The food was good the service could have been a little better but overall very good
Pleasant surroundings, friendly staff but mediocre food and prices on the "touristy" side.
I love it here! We got a free glass of wine when we checked in. The gardens are gorgeous - had a push button fireplace and the restaraunt provided cozy country dining with a great local wine menu.
This hotel is so homey and quaint. Have stayed here many times and the accommodations are clean, the staff is friendly, the restaurant is delicious, and their Apple Farm beer and cookies are the best!
Only been there for breakfast but it was worth every penny
Love the place. My family and I have been coming here for decades.
Great service, beautiful holiday themed decor, and a cozy room. Don't forget to enjoy the apple cider, coffee, tea, hot cocoa (in the morning), and cookies!
Our kids were served sour milk. My wife found a hair in her soup. Rest of meal was okay at best. Way better options one mile down town.
This place is beautiful and the staff is great. The restaurant is a must try. And the gift shop is adorable they have something for everyone. Please try an apple pie!!! Yum
Nice setting but food the meat of the hamburger ask bleeding that looked like a sole half discovered missed and very expensive for what we ate
September 2019: just stayed in their family suite this time and we all enjoyed great service, wonderful staff, the best food and really could not ask for more.
February 2019: After I posted my review: "Room "A's" mattress is caput. The jacuzzi didn't work either. Very dissapointing as it was my fourth time in ten years.
The restaurant still serves amazing food; thanks Chef Steve Smead.
The staff is very nice. Just a pitty about not being able to enjoy a good night sleep. They did move us to another room, but did nothing about the mattress in "A". Poor next guests.
Not sure I can trust them next time."
I contacted the manager per her request and their response and feedback was impressive. They really care. They fixed all my complaints and I will most certainly go back to my favorite hotel-inn. Thanks for taking care of us and the problems. I wish you the best.
I had a Reuben sandwich which was very good. But really not worth $15.
Always wonderful love the wine glass greeting when you check in and the cookies are excellent
Great service, large bed, free cookies! Pretty much the perfect ideal that any hotel should attempt to live up to.
Charming boutique hotel. Decor is floral, Victorian. Staff is friendly and helpful. Good treats in the bakery!
Beautiful room in a wonderful area, great and friendly service
OMG what an inn! Awesome stay, comfort at its finest! From the moment you arrive, your greeted with wine, coffees, hot apple cider, & homemade chocolate chip cookies. Then a wine n cheese party (complimentary) the restaurant has good food too, no need to drive around. Next time will do several nights. Staff very friendly, helpful. Better than any resort I've stayed at.
Way too expensive for the quality food.
Looked like they hired a chef that talked up his resume, when he's just mediocre at best.
Service was slightly delayed but nothing outrageous. Will probably not return.
Is it a little pricey? Sure. Does it have a whiff of old lady about it? You bet.
Is it a great place to relax and enjoy a weekend? Oh yeah.
I wouldn't recommend it for every trip to SLO, but when you really want to relax, have a cookie or two, enjoy some wine and just unwind, then yeah, I wouldn't hesitate insisting on someone staying at the Apple Farm.
Nice place to visit. They have a delicious banana cake. Great Customer service
Great room, great food, great staff. Will be back again and again.
It's usually good but the last time I was there food was so so.
Cute little restaurant...love the little gift shop.
Apple Farm Inn was actually a surprisingly great place to stay. Old charm is what you get and the rooms are very clean and cute.
Very beautiful place and very friendly workers. Our room very clean and comfortable. We will stay here again in the future.
Great place for a cozy romantic weekend getaway. Very warm and welcoming. Bring your own feather pillows!
Really nice Hotel with a very friendly staff. The Restaurant serves delicious food.
It was a great stay.
Great spot for breakfast. Food and service was great.
Not a good dining experience this evening. Waited for 30 minutes after ordering a burger and watched people who arrived after me get served before I did. No follow up from the waitress. Received an apology after I spoke to the manager but not offered any compensation or offer to immediately fix to retain my business. I left hungry after a long road trip.
This is day one. Getting here is a breeze from Los Angeles. 101 North, exit Monterey Street and you're there. Lovely room (and my room is the cheapest they offer). Got complementary chocolate chip cookies upon check in, plus coffee and tea. Then went to the guest wine reception with canapes. Had an ok Zinfandel and a nice Cabernet. Friendly options for non-drinkers too. Too many perks to mention. Come here. You'll love it. The weather is fine.
Great atmosphere, beautiful, welcoming, lovely gift shop. My husband and I stay here on Anniversaries.
Visiting family, went to Apple Farm for lunch with my sisters. What lovely place to visit. Ample free parking! My sisters went again last week. I'll be there in SLO for Thanksgiving. Hopefully we can go to Apple Farm !
Super helpful staff, great location, and our room was amazing! All the goodies you get from them are super great too
Beautiful location, great to be near the freeway. Apples and butterflies everywhere, too nice. Great restaurant and loaded gift shop. Loved the waterwheel. Lady running the wine/sparkling cider corrected me on my Spanish as she was laughing at me, not only not nice, but I am unmistakably Latino and speak Spanish. Hot tub was nice and the whole experience was without fuss, thanks to the hotel staff.
Great place to have breakfast when you are traveling through. The staff and the food are terrific. Be prepared to wait, it is popular.
Yummy!!!!!
The food is delicious and the service is fantastic
This review is for the restaurant. Keep in mind, I've been eating at this location for about 30 years and the hightlight of our roadtrip is coming to the Apple Farm for the Turkey Pot Pie. Today, mid afternoon we were told only one pot pie was left. They explained it was a miscommunication with staff, but that is a very poor excuse. A signature dish made day in and day out, running out mid afternoon is just poor management. Furthermore, there was no attempt to make it right by apologizing or some extra step. One of us ended up eating something we had no intention of eating. Customer Service starts with trying to right a wrong, instead it was, is there something else that looks good? Well no. After 30 years you may have lost a loyal customer.
