Super clean rooms and the exterior of the hotel is well kept, plus you receive cookies and a glass of wine upon check in. Really impressed with service. I would recommend if your passing by San Luis Obispo.

Reserved a spot for Christmas dinner for mid-afternoon. Server could not have been better. Sorry, didn't get her name. Overheard her explaining her Russian name to another customer. She was on top of things without being intrusive. Attentive enough and I never felt neglected nor hovered over. Just right.
Decided on prime rib over turkey, ham, or salmon dinner. It was delicious. Accompanied by split pea soup (thick and hearty), mashed potatoes, dressing, gravy, mixed vegetables, and corn bread. Everything tasted great. As good as I could have prepared at home.
By the time I was finished dinner it had begun pouring rain. I walked down to the registration desk and Bruce helped me with check in. Once the paperwork was complete, Bruce went above and beyond to help me. Due to a recent hard fall and I was left with injuries to my hands and knees. Unable to grip anything or walk far, I was so grateful Bruce found a solution and got me settled into my cozy room with no fuss. All in the pouring rain.
Enjoyed relaxing in a super comfortable bed. Tiny fireplace and charming decor. Nice bathroom and a big step-in shower. Didn't care for the scent of the complimentary bath products.
Same great service at check out the next morning. Luckily no rain. I got help with my bags and other things. Enjoyed a hot cup of tea in the lobby before setting out on my journey.
My suggestion: make Bruce "Employee of the Month". He gets my vote.
Went for dessert, didn't expect amazing food and got pretty good pie. Slightly higher priced than warranted.

It's good for breakfast. They aren't as good as they use to be. Their shops are cute, but expensive. Bakery is also good,...but they use to be better.
I ordered a beer and a burger because it was my diet cheat day. I really enjoyed my time because it was a double date for gift exchange. The burger was good the server was a bit off that night. Any server would be so close to Christmas which is why it wasn't a problem as much. It was good enough. Thanks Apple farm.
I stayed at Apple Farm in 2009 with my family and the hotel room was excellent and the fire place was excellent and the restaurant was excellent.
The baker here makes the best spice cake on the planet and all the other food is yummy and delicious as well!
Came in for dessert and I must say, the experience was incredibly pleasant.
Our waitress was knowledge about the questions we asked, provided some input and our food came out in a timely manner and was REALLY GOOD!
Now, what did we order? The apple dumpling of the month. This cracks me up! But, it was pumpkin and it was delicious. We also ordered what we thought was going to be a slice of carrot cake but was actually a mini carrot cake<--- not complaining :) it was very good, too.
Overall, my dessert experience was incredibly positive and I'm looking forward to coming back again.
Fast service and great food! We sat down and had our food no more than 5 mins later. The decor reminds me of some old school Kentucky restaurants. Feels a bit like home. Love it!

We've been coming to SLO for over 23 years and always stay here. We love the atmosphere, the employees have always been friendly, love the gift shop, the afternoon wine reception........ we just love it! They started redecorating the rooms and must admit, although they are still charming, we loved the original decor. We always hate the day we have to leave and look forward to when we can go back.
Super pricey these days. Breakfast for two, $40! Service was pretty good, food was pretty good, and the gift shop is cute.
Beautiful hotel in SLO. Delicious bakery and restaurant on site, with daily wine tasting on the porch with views of surrounding hillsides. The entire estate is magnificently landscaped with flowers and fruit trees, expect to see butterflies and hummingbirds enjoying the scenery. Staff is incredible, Katherine at the front desk was especially helpful in providing recommendations for local eats.
Charming place, on a creek with a water wheel mill at the foot of a mountain. A popular restaurant with a picture perfect garden fully of wonderful plants. Very friendly staff.
The hotel is nice overall, the beds aren t comfortable, the pillows are lumpy. Let s talk about the pricing we got the price of 250 I stayed two nights by the time I left the bill came to $618.38 that is with visitor tax, Another taxes, no hotel that you re just sleeping in is worth it
Love this place, unfortunately did not stay there this time, but did stop for a quick bite to eat. The rooms are fabulous, grounds are gorgeous and love the lobby with freshly baked cookies and coffee waiting for the guests. Also the lovely wood apple that is your keepsake to remind you of your wonderful stay. Also enjoyed the afternoon wine by the pool. Will be back!!!!

I was with a group of folks that made the mistake of eating b real fast at the Apple Farm. Without prior notice, Apple Farm added a 3% "booking" fee and a 20% "service" fee on top of the mandatory 18% gratuity. Total rip off. Don't ever go to this place.
Everyone is friendly, hot apple cider, coffee, & hot water for tea is always available in the lobby, and at times cookies. Guests are invited each evening to a welcome meeting in the gaziebo with finger foods and wine tasting!! All rooms are elegantly decorated and great, with available breakfast in bed.
The Christmas dinner was delicious and the wait staff was on point! Maybe next year I burn the turkey in purpose so we can go again!
Apple Farm has been our family's favorite weekend spot and in the last 25 years the service and charm as never lost its reputation from then till now.
Wow food is amazing this place is awesome Ronda ours waitress was amazing and very friendly from the Host deck to the breakfast chef we were a bit late but they waited for us an they serves us breakfast and they were so attentive to every need thank you Apple Farm I definitely coming back awesome experience I will say this definitely a must stop in San Luis Opispo
Apple Farm's restaurant never disappoints! Our meals are always hot, delicious, and made from quality ingredients. Staff are friendly and attentive. There's much to see indoors and on their grounds after you've finished eating. Grab your favorite pastry as you leave. You won't regret it!
Please please please do not book here. It ruined the last day of our vacation. It smells like a funeral home. The vouchers for the free wine tasting is actually 1/2 off. The fresh apple cider is out of a bottle and the kicker is... that when i asked for a refund after checking in 30 mins prior i was laughed at by the manager. The story doesnt end there... I said "that is fine, i would like to turn in my keys. Can i please get a receipt that i am checking out at 600 pm". I was then asked to vacate the premises and the police have been called to evict you.
We had a great stay at the Apple Farm. We arrived late and they waited for us! The room was very clean. And the dinner was amazing!

Very consistent and great quality food. The waits can be long because this huge establishment seems to always be packed. The gift shops give you plenty to look at. I've heard good things about the hotel but do not have first hand experience. Property is very clean and always has beautiful gardens

We loved staying here at the Apple Tree Farm Martha was our housekeeper which we thoroughly enjoyed very nice very thorough came through my room anything we need it just to let her know very appreciative of the staff members here and especially Martha the housekeeper we will be coming back this way and stay here again and I do know that there are a lot of other hotels in the area for a little less than what I paid here but this was worth it more than you know very relaxing how wonderful to have a fireplace in the room that works really warm and comforting I highly recommend this place the food in the restaurant I would give it a five-star also the gift shop another five star this was really a great place to be on our business trip

Real American comfort food, large portions, yummy corn bread and rolls. The setting is a large garden and big windows make you feel as if you are dining outside. Very relaxing. Desserts are delicious and can also be purchased from the bakery outside the restaurant. There is a store also outside the. restaurant that is always worth a look. Whenever I am in SLO I stop in to eat. Great for breakfast as well.
They have beautifully decorated rooms. They are very clean, and comfortable. They are known for thier hospitality. Be ready for freshly baked cookies, and drinks! We drove 5 hours to stay here. It is very worth it!

We've been going to the Apple Farm for 30 years now and it is a fabulous restaurant. The food is top quality without being excessively expensive. The restaurant has a small gift shop with wonderful, jams, jellies, scones, country themed foods and gifts.

Love this place! Been going here for years and it has never disappointed me. Food and service is always the best. Down home type of dinners and an incredible choice of pies for dessert. Motel is beautiful and immaculate, the service at motel is just as good as at restaurant. Your will enjoy your stay there. The gift shop is always fun exploring, with lot's of local flavors.

One of San Luis Obispo's finest!.. easy on-and-off access to the 101... get tired stay the night, the view is beautiful.. I had their macaroni and cheese, creamy and savory.. cornbread yum!.. fresh cup of coffee and for dessert my party shared a carrot cake from the bakery OMG... to die for!!!.. Ashley was our server friendly, knowledgeable on the ball!.. fantastic service... on a scale from 1 to 10 she gets a 20... looking forward to eating there again soon.

The food and service were awesome. I loved the atmosphere on the patio where there's a beautiful view of the mountains and of an incredible variety of potted fruit trees and exotic plants. I enjoyed myself, I felt like I was at home.

Connie, the wine tasting server was so nice and informative. We stayed n the room with a soaking tub was nice. Room to small for me but still very nice.
