A lot of stuff was way overpriced. The food could've used some flavor and salt. I sent back 2 dishes after just giving up. I can't think of a reason why I would return....

Very charming, unique little place. Perfect stopping point if you're driving from northern California to southern California, or vice versa. If the weather is nice, eat outside on the patio.
It's a cute place, filled with Christmas stuff in the store.
The Apple Farm Restaurant is a cute restaurant in a quaint garden setting with a cute shop and bakery attached. The food was delicious. The only complaint I had was with the high prices and the somewhat aloof waiter. He acted nice and friendly, but I got the vibe that he honestly didn't care and he was moving as slow as possible. Other than that, I would still go again just because I like the food and the ambiance of the restaurant.
Nice rooms, great restaurant and great staffing, to go along with a nice ambiance.
The Apple Farm is an extremely charming place to stay and we loved everything about the ambiance, the free cider & coffee, the cute little shop, and the friendly staff. Our room was beautifully decorated and cozy. However, our king size bed was very old and uncomfortable. We could feel the springs and there was absolutely no support so when we were laying down, our bodies would migrate to the edge of the bed and it felt like we were about to roll off of it! So basically I didn't get much sleep when we stayed there (which is kind of a big deal when you're paying for lodging). We would love to come back if they would upgrade their beds!
Our favorite home away from home. Perfect for a romantic "get-a-way" weekend.
A gem tucked away from home. My favorite Room 300 is the nicest room!
Fabulous room with private hot tub just beautiful foliage all around you.....a definite place to stop and especially check out on booking.com for a week day rate really inexpensive!
After doing a Ministry in LA, the group I was with, we went for an overnight in SLO. We didn't stay here. We came here for the food. We had a pretty darn big group. From what I can remember, everything was great!!
If you liked Madonna, you will LOVE Apple Farm. Everything is decorated intricately, with love and care. The restaurant serves the most amazing scones. And it's almost like it's own little village. It can be kinda easy to miss because it is right before the freeway exit.
Service was a little slow, but the food was excellent. This was our second trip there and we have been pleased both visits.
Welcome biscuits and wine ,,, lovely place like being in fairy tales
Love the place always great food the employee are really nice
I have always loved this place! The food is always really good. Today I had a TriTip Cesar Salad and added Avacado. Delicious! For desert was an Apple Crisp... It wasn't as crispy as I would have liked. A bit mushy and no caramel or whip cream to top it. Waitress seemed a bit distracted. I had to ask for a drink refill and desert, wasn't asked by her...
Looking for a get away on Christmas Day we decided to try the Apple Farm. We have stopped by the restaurant numerous times and enjoyed our time. Luckily we were able to get a room for 2 nights!
We had an amazing experience from check in to check out. Every staff member we met was friendly and helpful. You can tell they love their jobs! At check in we were greeted by beautiful Christmas decorations, Chardonnay, hot Apple cider and chocolate chip cookies.
Our room was huge! A fireplace and a nice sitting area. The decor gave a warm homey feeling. The unique design gave each room a bay window and we found them to be very quiet. We even found sparkling apple cider, chocolate and an Apple memento to take.
We had a tasty Christmas dinner at the restaurant, enjoyed complimentary wine tasting and holiday decor shopping at 50% off.
As someone who is gluten sensitive I enjoy the wheat free deserts at the bakery. We will definitely be back! Thank you Apple farm for making our Christmas special!
Friendly and helpful staff. Delicious chocolate chip cookies. Trellis court rooms a bit loud from road, but otherwise nice. Breakfast at the restaurant was quite good.
They get bus loads of tourist so their prices are set xtremly high. Food is good however if u want a better deal go to dennys or somewhere of ur choice andpay less. Wealty folks only!
This place at one time was probably one of the most unique, charming and all in house services on site compared to the other motels in the area. The place needs to be updated in a big way, including their service staff that has any contact with the public. Their food prices are completely out of this solar system, so bring some extra dollars and your First Born Child to be sacrificed in order to get yourself out of hawk.
I'm sure there are some who would think its the Cats Meow, myself I would rather save my money and eat at one of the many other choices available in SLO.
Cute b&b, love the atmosphere. Staff was very friendly.
Beautiful setting with lots of flora, great location, easy to find, delicious food, and gorgeous inside and out.
Nice place to relax and look at their Christmas decorations, visit their gift shop and restaurant.
One of our favorites, regular places in SLO. Huge portions. Great scones and muffins.
Amazing food. All freshly made. I love the scones and homemade bosenberry jam. Cute atmosphere.
Stayed in Mill house Suite for special occasion. Even though we're locals, we felt like we were miles away at this romantic, secluded Inn. The room was spacious, quiet, clean and cozy. The fireplace and hot tub were nice additions. We never left the property, having dinner and breakfast at the restaurant (really good farm to table comfort food...meatloaf and the best omelet ever being the Fiesta with corizo and avocado ) made this a truly memorable stay. Can't believe it took so long to stay there, but we will definitely be back!
Unfortunately the service was slow and the food was wrong and cold. Was expecting much better food for what it cost.
What a breakfast! Still dreaming of the cinnamon rolls.
Wonderful hotel with cottage like decor. Rooms are comfortable and each is decorated with a slightly different character. Most of the decorative items in the rooms and in the hallways are for sale if interested. Gardens and landscaping are beautifully maintained. There is a city run trolley that takes you from the hotel to downtown. The restaurant serves a great breakfast.
Service is mediocre. I went there for dinner and my company's salad plate from the famous salad bar had another guests hair in it. I went there for breakfast and my waitress spilt/dropped syrup on the table/me. Although they did help clean it very well, we still had to eat on the sticky table whilst my sleeve on my elbow was soaking in syrup that was wet from a hot towel they tried to clean it with. Food was good but jelly 'selection' has one jelly in it.
AWSOME hotel and dining at the resteraunt but the Apple farm motel very small pool
Apple Farm was an amazing experience. It was totally unexpected. We arrived late to SLO and didn't have reservation anywhere. All hotels were booked. We called them and they said that they can give us a room. We thought we would end up in bad hotel, but this was a great local experience. They gave me cookies and greeted us with a big smile. The rooms were very clean and spacious. Next morning, we went down the pool and the bakery. I highly recommend Apple Farm.
Food was fantastic. It was a little expensive but nothing too extreme. Try the duck sliders.
Great waffle with blackberries and whipcream, made reservation got seated right away, friendly staff and clean environment. Bakery section is a bit pricey but worth it!
Apple Farm is an iconic restaurant/hotel and is a must see if in San Luis.
Very nice, reasonably priced. Breakfast in room option is very good.
Excellent dinner and very well received! Very interesting to visit decoration items shop!
The gluten free peanut butter cookies are really good.
Daily free cookies so you got my vote. The only bad thing was that we found no place to open both our suitcases. And as with most hotels i am too large to fit under the shower.. but great atmosphere and lovely shop.
The family had a nice lunch here. I got the fish and chips, which were delicious. Mom and I loved walking around the store before and after our meal too. Cute place.
Cute space, but very much geared for older b&b crowd. Seems overt priced as well.
Only after waiting a good hour, did my food get out which was already cold. I was visiting for a couple days and this restaurant was disappointing
Stopped into the gift shop and bakery. Delicious baked goods a d a friendly staff. I have also eaten at the restaurant and it was delicious. They have gluten free options, too!
I've always loved this place. Cute little store. Apple cider is yummy.
Very nice hotels, rooms in main building are really good, the outer units are a bit too busy, but still good location in the area, recommended.
Amazing service, great food, beautiful surroundings. Very easy access off the 101. Great fir a "pit stop" while driving the CA coast!
Great food. Great staff. Local favorite. Fun events and shopping.
Great food, great atmosphere, the food is expensive but the portions are large. Highly recommend
The breakfast here is amazing and all the pastries are delicious
Our nicest accommodation during a three-week motorcycle trip. The hotel is lovingly furnished and is second to none.
The rooms are very nice, the service was very kind and they give you a lot of freebies, and the restaurant that is apart of the hotel has delicious food.
The location was easy to get to. Food and service were excellent. Very grandma style (in a good way) and welcoming ambiance. Farmers omelet was fantastic.
Apple Farm has wonderful food. It is a bit pricey, but being with my family eating good food was worth it
Cute little place to stay. The rooms are adorable, the beds are so comfortable and the hallways are so nicely decorated! The staff here are very nice and the restaurant had a good selection of food. They also give you complimentary cookies upon arrival and everyday of your stay after 3pm. The pool is a nice size and the hot tub too.
We were only here for one night, but we really enjoyed our stay!
When ever we are in SLO we have breakfast here. Always would give it 5 stars but this time the country fried steak was extremely greasy.
Nice place, nice room, restaurant was good for a quick bite before wedding to hold us over until dinner. Room was in Trellis Tower area, very quiet did not hear anyone or even the freeway that is just a few yards away. Would highly recommend.
Great lunch spot! Hightly recommends the salmon egg benedict.
The service can't be better! The restaurant and the hotel are both excellent.
Very cute place, nice editor and interior. When I went there was ample of parking spot. Should be easily noticble from the main road on the left after exiting the freeway
Amazing romantic getaway!!! The king room with hot tub is FABULOUS and totally worth the splurge!!! So private, quaint and yet has all the nice finishing touches you expect from an upscale hotel. The cookies are delicious!! ; ) We have stayed here twice and plan on making it an annual romantic weekend!!
Small but nice. The rooms are clean and cozy. Unfortunately the food is very expensive and very one-sided. If you e.g. If you order a cake you don't get a slice as usual, no, they just put the whole thing down. When asked if you can only have one piece, it means that only whole pies / cakes are sold and what is ultimately offset.
Another common selling trick is the $ 50 insurance premium that you have to pay at check-in. They tell you how important it is if, for example, the car is damaged or something happens in the room, something is stolen, etc. This fee had to be paid despite the objection. Was probably a replacement for the parking fee which is completely free.
My friends and I didn't end up eating here because we needed to make a reservation because it was mother's day. I've heard pretty good things about this place though.
