Good food, great service, had their COVID procedure down to a science. You're going to pay about $50-$75 per person minimum. It's worth it for special occasions, don't know that I'd want to eat here every night.

Chocolate. Chess. Pie. The chocolate chess pie stole my soul. The steaks are perfection, and the pre-dinner snacks are too much (but we ate them all anyway)! That pie is the best dessert you ll put in your mouth, and they ll even give you the recipe! If you want to celebrate with a family atmosphere, this is the best way to spend your money. I say family atmosphere because kids are allowed, even if they are the worst behaved monsters. I saw screeching 7/8 year olds playing tag in the spaces between tables and that had to be so annoying for staff. It was definitely annoying for me. Definitely still worth 5 stars even with that!

This place is a must have experience. It's an institution. Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Location isn't the easiest to get into/out of, but the AB predates I-540 so can't blame AB for that. Wish I got the chance to eat here more often.

Simply don't understand the hype. We were here for a holiday. Reserved a large table and spent a significant amount of money. Our table was ignored while servers catered to the tables around us. Drinks went empty. Wine glasses never offered to be refilled. Food was mediocre and service was abysmal. I won't be returning.

It's a steakhouse. The food is wonderful but given its reputation, I was expecting much more. I went twice 20 years ago and then again recently and the experiences were vastly different. I felt like I was at a Sizzler Steakhouse this time, but with better food.

Food was good but this visit the quality and taste of the steaks were not the same as my previous visits. We got asparagus as a side which I have to say was a bit bitter and undercooked/tough. I am giving 4 stars because while it was good ..it was not great. Service is really great. Our waitress was very pleasant and attentive.

Amazing! This is one of the best steaks I have ever had! The service was amazing, wine list is excellent and the tour was a bonus. A well run establishment especially for the size. So many different areas to enjoy too. We will definitely be back!

Delicious food! Perfect place for a special occasion. The wild turkey bar was nice and comfortable. We were able to walk up and get seats right at the bar as we waited for our table downstairs. The steaks were delicious, lobster was good, the sides were phenomenal. Our server told us about their shortcake being great for French toast in the morning since we were too full for it night of. It was excellent as well! Service was not what I was expecting but it seemed like an off night so I didn t think much of it. It was still decorated for Christmas when we went and it truly was a wonderland.

Steven Perry makes the experience well worth it! He has been at the Angus Barn for 16 years and you won t question why when he waits on you! He even took the time to do a magic trick at the end of the night for my children and we were amazed! The food is perfect, the waitstaff is impeccable and the atmosphere is great. We have always loved this restaurant!

Terrific place, awesome food, excellent service. It was my first time at the Angus barn and I ve been amazed. I m looking forward to going back to Raleigh to visit this restaurant! I had the fortune and honor to meet Ms. Van, while at the restaurant, such a special person! Chapeau!

This place is great, we go here several times a year.. The only reason for 4 stars is that it's a bit overpriced IMHO. The lounge upstairs is the best part and definitely where you need to go after you eat.

Excellent service. Delicious food. They were even able to accommodate my multiple allergies in their special kitchen set aside for this purpose. This will definitely be my main restaurant to visit!

We were here celebrating our 15 year Anniversary as well as celebrating our daughter going off to NC State tomorrow. We enjoyed the night so very much! The food was wonderful, all three of our daughters were stuffed! Our waitress Grace was phenomenal. She was so kind and just plain adorable! Thank you for the most wonderful experience on a special night! Thanks again Grace!!!

I went last weekend with my family before the Duke game, apparently just because I leave a good tip everyone has to create stories about this fine dining establishment.
I thought this was far better than any steakhouse around the Indy metro area and I hope anyone who has tries this place and/or going to try will agree with me.

Thank you,
P.M.

A must visit ! This place is huge ! The farmhouse decor is mesmerizing. There's cheese and crackers in the lobby. A waiting room with a beautiful gun collection, a gift store, children's play area. Be sure to check out the cool looking bathrooms. Service was impeccable from our waiter Jamie while at table 153. Food, of course, was perfection. Coming here was as much about the experience as it was about the food.

Petite prime rib is huge!!!!! And fantastic!!!!! Don't pass up the relish tray if you like to snack before you eat. Sometimes the service is slow because the place is well liked. Don't look down on hamburger steak, made from filet mignon. A very special outing.

The waitress kiki was amazing! She went above and beyond to make sure our dining experience was fantastic! The food was amazing! Establishment is wonderful as always. Could not have asked for a better night.

My wife really wanted to try this place so I took my whole family. The food was great. My steak was cooked just as I asked and tasted great, but it wasn't a $50 steak, at least not to me. The $12 mojito I got was very plain and tasted like a cub of club soda. Knowing how expensive everything would be going in to the Angus Barn I had pretty high expectations, but I was really let down. In my opinion, I could get a drink and steak that are just as good at the Longhorn for half the price. Great service btw.

Yes yes yes yes yes yes yes. This place is incredible. I cannot give this place enough stars. The food is incredible and the service is on par with the food! The starter alone let's you know you are in for an amazing meal. The cheese and crackers are a staple here. You Have to ask for the tour before or after dinner, it's great! The Christmas decorations are equally great.

I've been here several times for dates or group dinners as well as once for a wedding at The Pavilion. Every time has been wonderful, and the private event team was phenomenal at the wedding (the bride's parents were thrilled). The prime rib rivals the best in the region (as it should for nearly $40), and I love the cheese and olive appetizer.

Wasn't super impressed for the price. Nice but I was underwhelmed. We were packed in a dark room with so many other diners. I thought it was going to be chic and posh inside. I could've eaten off the plate of the person at the table next to me. It is a barn, I guess.

Well worth the visit to this iconic steakhouse, especially during the holidays. The decorations are fantastic! The new permanent structure waiting area outside the entrance to the restaurant is a great upgrade. Allows plenty of room to mix & mingle, while waiting on your table - and there's a bar out there! For some the Angus Barn is overpriced, but we go every December as a special family occasion. The wine list is very extensive - the restaurant boasts one of the largest wine cellars in the country. The steaks & king crab legs, as well as the salads & sides, were above average. And the dessert selection is wide & all are very tasty. Well worth the trip!

How fancy and expensive this place was. Luckily we were dressed well and looking for a romantic meal. I'd definitely go back for a special occasion.

Ok this was my first time here. I had many people tell me how wonderful this restaurant was and just never had the opportunity to go. Well it was our wedding anniversary and thought we should try it. IT WAS AMAZING - BEST DINNER EVER. I had the beef kabob and the twice baked potato with a side of creamed spinach. My husband had the10oz prime rib and steamed Alaskan King crab claws and also had the twice baked potato. They give you homemade crackers and their homemade cheese. Olives, celery and pickles to start.
We had wonderful blackberry cobbler. Fyi they were booked up in the restaurant so we were in the WILD TURKEY LOUNGE which was great - "the limited menu" wasn't really limited in my opinion. Wonderful experience. AND our waitress JILLIAN was GREAT - thank you.

A totally forgettable experience! My wife and I recently had an anniversary dinner here and I can tell you the service, food and accommodations definitely do not live up the name that proceeds this restaurant. We were sat at an uncomfortable table in the corner that rocked back and forth as we cut our meat; which was not cooked properly and the fries; which we thought would be amazing seemed like frozen out of a bag. We were also suppose to receive a special pound cake dessert for our Anniversary compliments of the Barn and that never came either. This restaurant is a disappointment on many levels and in my opinion doesn't live up to it's reputation for an excellent dining experience.

The food is good, the staff is very friendly. Made a dinner night out on anniversary and had a memorable meal. Portions are big enough to get you full and have some the next day! Worth making reservations!
