Unfortunately my experience with Angara has been a disaster so far.
Week and a half after ordering a Sapphire engagement ring, I hear not a peep. Emailed with no response, so finally chatted with a rep and they squeaked it out to me at the end of 2 weeks.
Got the ring and quickly examined it. My expectations were sky high since it was an "Heirloom" quality AAAA rated sapphire. Much to my disappointment there are 2 small cloudy lines that were visible near the top center of the stone. Definitely not the top of the line gem I paid for.
Well....no biggie since my girlfriend's law school graduation was pushed back 6 months. Angara returns are supposed to be easy right? Submitted my return request and .......... chirp chirp no response for 2 weeks despite my emailing customer service. Chatted with Barbara and was told I'd get a return confirmation by the end of the day. Nothing.
Maybe I'm the exception, but I know that I'll be warning everyone I know away from this place. I just can't trust this company with a high ticket item if their support is that shoddy.
Terrible product and customer service. Paid 1k for a ring and the stone cracked within a month and the gold prongs have became unhinged. Rude and disrespectful while dealing with customer service on the phone
I purchased this necklace for my GF's birthday. When she opened the box (which was very cool since it had a small LED light in it), she was stunned! Wow the Mrs was blown away with these teardrop Opal earrings. And we received a garnet pendant as well. Very nice, no issues. The earrings were full of bling bling and were absolutely flawless. I ask and I received and the wifeepoo was blown away!
Website displays open 24 hours. I drove 2.5 hours in nasty LA traffic to find that they closed at 7pm. I arrived at 7:45 pm. I will search elsewhere for a ring.
The ring i got was nothing like the I ordered from the website . You can barely see the diamonds and it's smaller than it is meant to be. And I paid a lot of money for it . I eventually decided not to return it as I was charged customs fees . I was offered 10% discount and got 9.6 % discount . Again smaller than what I was told . Very disappointed with my ring
The ring I ordered is beautiful but most importantly, the customer service today was outstanding. There was a mishap in the shipping of the engagement ring I ordered for my girlfriend from the shipping company and I talked to their customer service rep Jeff. He was extremely helpful and went completely out of his way to help me get the ring in time. Much appreciated!

I have not received the product yet and will review that when it arrives. I did want to say that my customer service experience was incredible. Nathan bent over backwards to help me make a purchase for my brother who is very ill. He wanted to get his wife earrings for Christmas as he will not be here then. Nathan really helped the whole process. I was very pleased that he was so helpful.
We looked at several websites to find exactly what I wanted in an engagement ring from a trusted company. I found Angara and loved their selection of moissanite engagement rings. FedEx delivered my ring today, and it's perfect! I am so happy with it. The forever brilliant moissanite sparkles beautifully, and the simple solitaire setting is exactly what I wanted. Our experience with Angara's custom department was very poor. We hired them to create a custom ring, and the process was fraught with difficulties:
1) We paid them up front to work through a series of CAD diagrams with us. We went back and forth and were happy with the fourth diagram. However, they then made and sent us a ring based on the THIRD (out of date) diagram. We sent it back.
2) Along the way, I would ask multiple questions or put in multiple CAD change requests. Barbara would typically respond to only one at a time, so I had to repeat myself often and spend a lot of time going back-and-forth.
3) The second ring that they sent to us was also not built to CAD specifications. They put in stones that were larger than had been drawn, which may have been intended as a kind gesture, but which prevented the ring from matching with another of my wife's pieces of jewelry. We found it unbelievable that they would deviate from the CADs again, given how clear it was that specifics mattered to us.
4) When the second ring arrived, the stones were loose. We expected them to loosen some over time, but certainly not to be shipped to us loose. We had to pay a local jeweler to fix them.
5) Because we had gone through multiple rounds of the ring not being built to our specifications, we asked for a full refund (before going to our local jeweler). Angara refused on multiple occasions, despite their quantifiable failures.
It may be that working with Angara is a good experience when you have a rough idea of what you want and are flexible on the specifics. However, if you are seeking attention to detail, it would be best if you look elsewhere.
My husband bought me one of Angara s opal rings as my engagement ring. It was absolutely gorgeous and just my style. I was so excited to wear it in public. I wore it almost every day, making sure to remove it before washing my hands and being mindful of it. After a few weeks, the opal stone cracked and a piece fell off. I contacted Angara about this problem and they proceeded to tell me that opal is an extremely fragile stone. They sent me some tips on how to care for it and if I wanted to replace the stone, it would be $350. So I let this one slide, paid the $350 and got my stone replaced. The second time I was EXTREMELY careful with my new stone. In fact, I probably wore the ring once a month, on very special occasions. I made sure to follow all their tips and not get the stone wet. Next thing I know, the stone chips again, which really caught me by surprise considering I was conscious of not even bumping my hand on things. I reach out again and they basically tell me there is nothing they can do and proceed to tell me how fragile opal is. I was so devastated but paid the $350 to replace it ONCE AGAIN and this time I make sure to buy warranty. I promised myself I wouldn t wear it until our wedding day. Wedding day comes, I strictly used it for the ceremony and took it off for reception. The next day, I am at a restaurant eating sushi and I notice the stone is GONE. It completely fell out of its socket and if course I couldn t find it. I reach out to Angara, ready to use my warranty only for them to tell me warranty doesn t cover damage or loss of stones! Angara even told me I should look into getting an opal necklace instead of a ring. Why would you offer opal rings if you knew how delicate they are? My husband paid so much money for a beautiful ring and now I m left with a stoneless ring.
I have nothing but amazing things to say about Angara.com. Ordered 2 pearl necklaces (AAAA Gemstone Quality). Both pieces were exceptional! Well designed, great quality stones/pearl, etc. Even the gold chain is pretty cool because it has this embedded mechanism where you can shorten it or extend it, which is the first time I have ever seen this. Thank you Ankit for the wonderful experience!!! My mom and I are very happy with the pieces!!
Customer service was great, in the beginning. Then, after the SECOND time I lost a diamond from my wedding band, they had me send both of my rings, engagement and wedding ring, back to the company for them to thoroughly check and repair or replace my wedding band. I never heard from the company after my rings were delivered. Tried to reach out to customer service and felt like I kept getting the run around. For the record, going without your jewelry for long periods of time, especially your wedding and engagement ring when your newly married, and going without information about their return SUCKS. I was never trying to rush the company, just wanted information as to the status of everything and the plan. My rings were returned after about two months without a word from the company about what was done, and without them communicating that they were on their way back. In this era it is disappointing that there is no online support (e.g. no way to check order status, etc.). You can only get information by dealing with a customer rep. Angara is quite a bit difficult to work with on your schedule, especially if you live non the east coast. Yes, I do realize that time zones are a pain in the butt, but at least have some online support and information on how long one can expect things to take. Another stone has fallen out of my ring, all three of which have fallen out of the same exact spot. Quite frustrating!
Ordered a ring through Angara. Had to have it resized. It came back with a chunk of metal on the inside, so we returned it again. Then, we lost a small diamond off from it after a couple of weeks, another shipment back to them. Got it back, it fits great and it's beautiful. The customer service was very responsive and they were quick and attentive to the issues we had.

I returned merchandise I did not like and ask for a refund, all according to their return policy. Instead they were only giving me store credit claiming that I missed return window, which I did not.
update: I had to take this matter up with my credit card processors and BBB, as a result company did issue a refund.
Had some problems with shipping, but Barbara went out of her way to fix it for me. When I finally got the ring, I was surprised to find that it was much more beautiful in person than it was online. My fiance loves this ring! I'll definitely be buying from here again!

I wish I had read the Google reviews before purchasing my wedding ring from these guys. I wore it for ONE month before a stone fell out. There was no damage at all to the ring, but like others have mentioned, they said I had damaged it. They will not admit to any defect. So much for a "lifetime warranty." Very dishonest about that on their part. They kept saying that because I didn't buy a warranty, nothing was covered... But according to their "lifetime warranty," they supposedly guarantee against all defects of craftsmanship and materials. Well, that requires their admission of a defect. They charged me for the repair. And to top it all off, they sent it to my old address. I had updated my account with my new address, sent the package to them with my new return address, and included a note inside with my new address. Thankfully I still have family at the old address, but if I hadn't, my ring would likely be lost. We got my husband's wedding band from them too, and are happy with that, but it's simple and there are no stones that could fall out. If you're purchasing anything important, especially something with a stone, you're better off finding a company that will honor their basic warranty.

Ordered a peridot necklace and earring set to be delivered for Mother's Day. It did not arrive until the Monday after. Beautiful jewelry though! The free chain that came with the necklace broke within the first two weeks. When I called they said it couldn't be repaired and would have to be replaced for $99. I thought this was very unfair as it was a new necklace. I won't buy from again.
UPDATE-they replaced the chain once I sent the broken one back. I received the new chain with a knot in it near the clasp, but was able to untangle myself.
If you are looking for gem stone jewelry, look no further! I have never seen such beautiful stones, and you can't beat the prices! Their customer service is second to none! My ring just came. It is so gorgeous! I couldn't be happier. We decided on the heirloom tanzanite, and I am so glad we did. The color is breathtaking! The diamonds along with the rose gold just make it that more beautiful. I am so pleased and would highly recommend Angara to anyone looking for jewelry that you just don't see anywhere else.

Terrible customer service. My first order was for a birthstone pendant which was beautiful. Second order was for matching stud earrings which didn't match in color. Returned them and after more than a month trying to communicate with them I gave up and told them to return the earrings. Without any notification they didn't return them, they gave me credit.
This was my first time buying from Angara, but it won't be the last. I found exactly what I was looking for, and the customer service couldn't have been better. Barbara made me feel so comfortable, picking out these lovely Morganite studs was like shopping with a personal jeweler who I had known for a long time. This Sapphire and Diamond ring that I bought from Angara is the best ring in this style that I have ever purchased. Without question. The diamonds and sapphires are of the best quality, and the craftsmanship of the ring is top notch. I have bought at least 5 rings of this style over the last 20 years and this one is by far the best. Other rings had nice diamonds and decent sapphires. Or it had nice Sapphires and terrible Diamonds. Or even worse, a light malleable gold band that scratched and bent over time and felt cheap. Angara has delivered the best combination of all three: great diamonds, incredible sapphires, and a sturdy, bright gold band. I will never buy from anywhere else should I need another ring like this. I ordered some aquamarine earrings and a necklace. The quality of the jewelry was great (high end quality and craftsmanship and way beyond anything you could get at typical brick and mortars) and the customer service was excellent. I had to ship it back to swap for a shorter chain and different earring backs, and it couldn t have been more seamless or straightforward. I think the overall value is very high. It was a great experience and they have definitely earned my loyalty!

Well, I am a person for whom color is important and am very picky about the different hues of a stone. But Angara understands this and they exchanged my earrings until I got the color that I loved. I have bought earrings from them three times now and Barbara has always been extraordinarily accommodating and efficient. Thanks much, Angara. I'll be back!
Bought alleged aaaa pearls. Necklace and matching earrings. Earrings came unattached to display box, attached them. When recipient opened box, pearl was unattached, either set wrong or damaged in transit, no matter. Took a day to get back to me. Never responded to emails. Barbara Klein who is alleged service mgr, responded to call, said must send back earring to verify broken (what do you think?). Said after verifying, will make new earring and send, takes a couple weeks. Ruined my holiday as it was my significant others big gift. It should be a drop everything and make this right, not a complex adventure in returns when it is so blatant of a defect and a 3k investment. Took to local jeweler and had fixed in a day at my expense rather than more hassle from Angara, but after it falls out once they are not as strong and more likely to happen a second time.
Oh and I did I mention they record your calls without notice?

Ankit was extremely helpful and patient in helping me design a three stone pendant that included the birthstones of our three boys that I gave to my wife on Mother's Day. It was custom, not available on the website, pricing was reasonable, made and delivered in about one week. She loved it. Very impressed.

This is my second review. When my ring arrived, I was immediately concerned the prongs were far too thin to secure the pretty Garnet stone. I received a call from Barbara due to my review, which seemed like a good sign of company service...Sure enough, after wearing the ring three times, the stone turned half way around. I immediately took it off as I was concerned it would be lost. while in a secure box, taking a car ride 20 minutes home, the stone fell out! I have had this a little over a month! I have called Barbara in customer service again, who is on vacation through next week. I should have returned it the second I received the expensive ring and had concerns. The stone is pretty, so I stayed hopeful. The quality of the setting is so very poor I am amazed this company is still in business. Shop elsewhere.
