Great beer garden any time of day overlooking the Thames. Decent priced beers, lovely helpful staff.

Good vegetarian fish and chips, but the place really is crowded

I like this pub. This is the best pub, what I know. Seriously. There is the best view in the evening.

Super restaurant on the edge of thamise where you can taste delicious fish and chips !!! The decoration is typically English where it feels good to land. You can find this kind of restaurant everywhere in London, I highly recommend them, for my part, I can't wait to go back!

It's hard and inexpensive to come to terms with traditional, brittle food and beer.

Perfect location. Nice old building. Food was delivered very quick and staff was friendly.

Just popped in to kill some time and met with very friendly staff . Who where constantly cleaning and working hard and unlike some pubs they really didnt seem care people who didn't purchase drinks used there toilets. They where friendly to everyone. I haven't tried there food so I can't comment on that.

Sat outside and had a lovely view of the sun setting over the Thames. A nice pub and a large bar area so normally fairly easy to get served. Good selection of beers too!

This is a cracking pub on the South Bank of the Thames, opposite the City of London. Does get busy and service isn't always top-notch but the character of the pub, the upstairs terrace and seating overlooking the Thames makes up for it. Drinks menu is decent, too.

An endearing English pub located on the banks of the Tamesis, it is an ideal place to stop along the way and enjoy a pint of beer or a cider. It has a small but cute terrace.

In itself a nice pub, but very touristy. There are only two stars, as in fact all 5 beers we wanted were sold out. That should not happen in a pub like this!

A great place walking distance from London Eye. Amazing layout of the building! Feels understaffed behind the bar, considering how busy the place is every time i come here. But certainly worth a visit!

The Anchor Bankside is a pub in the London borough of Southwark. It is located in the town of Bankside on the south bank of the Thames, near the Southwark Cathedral and the London Bridge station. A tavern that has been in the location for more than 800 years.

Waited about 45min for 1 fish and chips then we ordered 2 chips and after 1 hour we claimed , they said sorry the kitchen it s closed and we will refund you. They could have let us know before waiting so much . I m never coming back here and I would never recommend it

Incredible the richest classic Fish & Chips I've tried. The price is a little high but for the area it is acceptable and worth it. The place is a typical old English sailors pub which gives it a mythical touch.

For a pub in one of London's biggest tourist traps, surprisingly good! Good selection of ales including abbot ale, ts a greene king pub meaning they have a good selection, one of my favourites! Busy of course, with a mix of tourists and locals, lively and buzzy, and though I didn't eat food looked decent. Is a historical pub, in a great area of town for tourists or locals alike. Think it adjoins the holiday inn. They have several big screens so great place to watch sport.

Nice design, good old fashioned English pub. Toilets definitely needed some attention but the service was good and the staff very friendly.

Whatever you come in for fish and chips or just a pint expect to lose yourself centuries back in quite different London you see today.

Music outside is quite good. They allow you to take drinks outside. Which h I find quite awesome.

Right in the middle of our walk from Westminster to the City via London Bridge and Tower. Had a nice cold beer outside with some sunshine on our heads. Perfect.

Beautiful old style pub with many rooms. Good location. Ive tried classic fish & chips and it was OK. Service can be improved. We had to sit between many dirty tables around for a long time.

Good solid, reliable pub with a great spot by the Thames if you can get a seat. Very popular, so don't expect a quiet evening!

Lovely pub, reasonable prices for London. We ducked in to get out of the rain. I'm sure on a dry day this place would be amazing as it's right on the river.

Typical English pub. Good place to have some pints in a charming place.

I liked the system to eat (we settle at the table, we made our choice on the card and then order at the bar and pay).
Plates are brought to our table.

Nice location and interesting old pub. May have been a one-off but our server was unnecessarily rude so would probably avoid returning as it spoilt the experience.

Nice pub, good service and lots of character. Really awful food though... Vegetables were grey and nothing seemed very fresh.. Hardly any toppings on nachos. Could do a lot better I'm afraid.

This pub is literally amazing. There's a terrace on the top floor that has a view of the Thames and a big terrace across of the pub with a serving point. there's a whole lot of diffrent seats where you can enjoy the sun with your pint
