Nice hotel, nice view, but looks old, needs rejuvenation

A hotel that is lmyn but because there is a pandemic so it & apos; s like being alive, I don't want to die

I had a 35k bottle of Albens cider sitting on a beanbag at their beachfront SOS, Sunset on Seminyak, restaurant/bar. After ++ the bill came to just over 100k. Way overpriced, given that you can sit and watch the sunset at any number of beanbag venues for free and pay not more that 40k for a similar drink. The food menu looked similarly overpriced. I won't be back.

On seeing to pics on google and other apps its seemed a good hotel but now its a very bad experience....

Anantara, who is in Seminyak, according to me, is a good viewer, I understand, I am a nature lover haha ... The spacious rooms with friendly staff are not distinguished from foreign tourists, so the shortcomings are just checking in, not on time, overal Ok ...

Lovely hotel which is literally a few meters from the beach front. Incredible service, fantastic room loaded with luxuries.

Not staying here but i used their pool and day beds for 500K, it s worth every penny.. The pool is not big but its overlooking to the Seminyak beach, you get free cold bottled water and the food is superlicious. Checked on their mock up room and definitely will stay here next time

They have daily morning yoga for only 50k idr!! And it was really refresh your mind body and soul. I love it

I stayed at Anantara Seminyak on 11-14 February 2021 with a deluxe suite ocean view type room. My room is 501. The room is spacious. Strategic hotel location. But it's time for the hotel interior to be rejuvenated. The hotel feels tired. Needs improvement in all sectors. It's a shame the big name Discovery group. I have stayed at Anantara Riverside Bangkok and Avani Riverside Bangkok. Everything seems beautiful. But Anantara Seminyak I am very disappointed with his condition. Needs to be renovated soon.

The staff try hard but I get the feeling the owners do not give them the tools, hotel is in need of refurbishment and the management need to take more of an active role. Before this visit I never doubted Anantara's quality, but after this I will be more wary. Anatara really should take a look at this property because in my opinion it damages the brand.

Three stars for the great staff and the perfect location.
However it is far from being a five stars resorts, specifically when it comes to facilities in comparison to room prices.

Note to managment:
Your efforts in training your staff is remarkable, an outstanding service as always in all Anantara s that I ve been to yet the hotel itself and the facilities requires restoration.
This is not what we expect from a flagship brand like Anantara.

The hotel is comfortable and super cozy. Friendly service. The ocean view is also really beautiful. The hotel spa is also recommended and the anti-Covid-19 SOP is also very well implemented. A rooftop restaurant is also highly recommended with a beautiful view and delicious food.

Really huge rooms that fit a family of four comfortably. The balcony is fantastic with a sunset view and jacuzzi. I stayed here before going to Intercontinental Jimbaran. I should have just stayed here my entire trip. The vibe of Seminyak is way better.

No hot water at the hotel. Stayed at several Anantara's and they do the same at their other hotels. Only the most expensive rooms have constant hot water!

Amazing location! Nice spacious room. Did not like the service, kept calling me on the room so many times which was really annoying. Food at the restaurant not good at all. Very good spa and massage.

This hotel is cool, at first the lobby image is just ordinary, when you enter the room everything changes, it's great, maybe it needs a little renovation because of the weather, the beach is suitable for children, playing with sand, etc.

Pictures on website and social media are deceiving. The hotel is not to the desired level of service or quality. The hotel is old and needs renovation, rooms are large and spacious but linens and towels are worn out (pics attached). We stayed for one night, staff are super friendly and attentive, breakfast was nice and delicious, however, front desk was not accommodating to our 2pm check-out request even though we only checked-in at midnight the night before with our 1-year old baby. Just a poor overall experience.

Very poor and old facilities,once you step in the hotel you will feel out of maintenance. The pool is small and the sun deck is dirty and broken without replace. The beach is dirty without cleaning
For the room it I'd also very old and dirty even the bed
The hotel is definitely not for children.The breakfast is low level as 3 star, the floor is very dirty . The staff never pay attention on keep the property clear and well

They have your pants down with service charges, but good food and service A1

1. The description of coconut weather station sounds humorous.
2. Beautiful sunset and Seminyak beach.
3. The restaurant and bar on 3rd floor Recommended
4. Dinning outside near beach must be booked in advance.
5. Drinking energy beverage here is an enjoyable way.

We stayed here for four days and while the hotel room was nice, is in a good location and the breakfast was great there were some major issues with this hotel. They put my family on the 5th floor (4 of us a four year old and a 2 year old). Along the corridor next to our room there was a sheer drop that I could walk through. Additionally open the door to the balcony and there were further hazards. They put barriers up for us but they didn't secure at the bottom so easy for kids to circumvent them and another drop that a young child could fall down. Additionally, when we fed back to the hotel they just said thanks for the feedback, with no sense of further action.

Also once checked out with an evening flight they attempted to charge $120 for an additional 4 hour stay to allow our children a chance to nap. This was offered out of courtesy in many other hotels and given they had spare rooms and that we requested in advance of booking this was disappointing as was the amount they attempted to charge. We were also refused a loan of an umbrella on our last day as we had checked out. Even though we would have to come back to collect our luggage, not something I would expect from a luxury hotel and not very helpful for a family with two small children.

Overall this was a let down as they did may things very well, staff were responsive when we said we were getting bites at night and they go out of their way to make breakfast amazing.

Terrible service level.
Smell in pool bathroom like in public toilet. Check the bill in the restaurant as staff messing all the time.
Be careful with happy hours too. You can have confirmation from local staff that you will get one for free but in the rest you will get only one. I know this network but this hotel shocked and surprised me. As for network hotel mark is 1 star. Managers of the hotel should pay attention to all these facts and work on this.

I don't know when this hotel was built or when it was awarded its stars, but if you are looking for quality, you should look somewhere else.
Rooms are very spacious but everything is a bit "tired" and smell moldy
Beach is very small and all amenities there look "cheap".

Even though the hotel is old (seen from the design) but it is well maintained and nice. Can go directly to Seminyak Beach, clean, spacious rooms, there is a jacuzzinya (suite) view from the beach room. There are 3 swimming pools, although not that big, they are sufficient.

The hotel is right on the edge of the beach. The drink isn't for coffee ... can it be for wedding parties too

Very good location in bali, and it has good rooftop restourant

First to the positive: the hotel offers a relaxed atmosphere right on the beach with beach chairs, umbrellas and pool. The staff is extremely friendly and tried every wish from the lips. Especially the food and the restaurant are excellent. Breakfast is served as a combination of buffet and a la carte. The rooms are spacious and well equipped. Still, there are a few shortcomings: the shower on the beach is a saltwater shower. You can tell that the hotel has a couple of years and soon to be renovated. All in all, a relaxed stay at a fair price.

Went here for a company trip and I fall in love with the resort right away. They serve high class service, the room is spacious which you can literally play cat and mouse.lol

Lovely beach front hotel and great customer service staff , world class service

This is a clean, cozy little resort. There is a small, generic pool and an infinity pool, and you can enjoy meals and drinks even if you are not in the room. Situated in front of the beach sandy beaches, it is a great place to surf or sunbathe on the beach sunbeds and read.

The hotel location is connected to Seminyak Beach, you could enjoy sunset there from the hotel or you could walk to La Plancha, the beach club next to the hotel

If you would like to go to the airport, please make sure you reserve the taxi in advance, a little difficult to find meter taxi, the taxi will give you fixed price and also you could get the traffic jam in Seminyak area in certain hours.
