Great Hotel, Amazing staff, lovely food , rooms are spacious, private swimming pool in over water villas are the best.
The island is properly set in a great atmosphere.

We stayed at the 2 bedroom villa. It was so relaxing that everyone wanted to fall asleep the second we arrived to the room. An excellent place to bring kids. They have a lot of kid activities and its extremely safe. Also have lots of water sports and a teen center. The food could be improved when compared to other restaurants and hotels in Qatar. A great getaway for a relaxation and spa weekend while the kids stay busy. The service is excellent. I gave 4 stars rather than 5 because of the food.

Excellent room. With beautiful sea view. I would have given 5* if only for the room. It was supposed to be of season. The check in process was quick. The boat transfer was good. once you reach the island the transfer to room was slow. Once been to room it took 45 mins to get suitcases, after remaining 2 times. The curtains were not working, needed to wait for an hour..baby crib was requested, but needed to call them before I got it. We booked table for Iftar for 6:30, we reached on time but no table was there, we had to wait for 1 hour to get table. Once back in the room ordered for ice at 11pm..the ice was delivered at around 1145. The service was particularly very slow..if service was better the ratings would have been better. They have good facilities..not sure how they will cope in peak season.

It was a superb experience, the food and the stuff was amazing, highly appreciated all the efforts of staffs.

Would strongly recommend a visit or stay. Stunning veiws and had an amazing time. Great fun for the kids as theres lots to do, amazing beach and pools. You will be looked after.

Plenty of food options to explore on the island or you can hop on a boat and explore the mainland.

Staff are very polite and helpful. It is heavy on price so I would suggest getting breakfast and dinner included or you can plan a day trip. Make sure you get a proper induction upon arrival so you know exactly what the island has to offer.

It was great experience from beggining till end. We booked brunch at Azraq restaurant and the cost was 300qar per person including water taxi to and back from island. The island has different water and entertainment activities. The brunch at Azraq was very nice. Live grill stations and almost all cusines were served. Staff of Banana Island is very disciplined and respectful.

Loved every moment. Very classy, clean and neat resort with the most friendly and helpful staff. The gardens and facilities are stunning. I would recommend a visit to anyone and wouldn't hesitate to go there again.

Banana Island is, hands down, one of the best resorts I have ever stayed in. The room, view, atmosphere, resort, restaurants and facilities were all amazing. I booked to stay here for my husband's birthday, and they made it so incredibly special for him. They were in contact with me about a week before, confirming details and information to make our stay special. When we arrived, we were not only able to check in earlier than expected, but we received an upgrade to our room. We ended up in the Deluxe Sea View room, which was superb. It was clean, luxurious and spacious, as well as quiet and peaceful. In terms of facilities, there is so much that the resort has to offer. There isn't only a beach and several pools, but surfing, a cinema, mini golf, boating and bowling. My husband and I did the bowling as part of our Ramadan package and it was fun! Apart from that, we also had the chance to experience the Iftar tent at Azraq. The meal itself was amazing and the quality of food was delicious, especially for the value for money. The staff there made it so special for us, and even had rose petals on the table for when we arrived. Our server (who I unfortunate can't remember her name) was so gracious and even ended up bringing out a cake and having the rest of the staff sing happy birthday to my husband. Even our breakfast the next day, also at Azraq, was fantastic and such good value considering it was also included in the Ramadan package. Upon our checkout, we headed down to leave just as the ferry had taken off, but to our surprise, the driver actually stopped and turned around to pick us up! From beginning to end, it was a beautiful and relaxing weekend and it was made even more special by the kind staff. Special thank you goes to Alae (apologies as I'm sure the spelling isn't right) for his hospitality and for showing us around, our server at Azraq and also to the crew on the ferry who were kind and accommodating. I would highly recommend visiting here and I'm so glad that we got the chance to go!

Had a fantastic time here. Everyone was helpful and kind with helping us locate everything from restaurants, to giving us a full tour of the island. The food was amazing as well. We went to the Arabian restaurant that had amazing seafood and lamb chops. Also got a few scoops of ice cream from the Italian restaurant. Was sooo goood

You think the staff are cute and kind until a problem/misunderstanding occurs -which is their fault and they know it and have admitted it- the whole staff management behave in the rudest way. You have the worst management and the worst customer service.

It was a short time for us to spend in the island..but it was a really great and wonderfull experience. All the staff are very cheerfull and helpful. The rooms is superb as well as the foods in the restaurant especially in the Azra all day dining. We will definitely come back for a longer days!!. Thank you all for your warm welcome. You made our stay memorable!

Great location for corporate events or team building excersices.
Food selection ,quality and service at Azraq, the buffet restaurant is always solid.
Great reception all the way from the port in Doha, the boat ride, disembark at the island and check-in.

If you're making a trip to Qatar, I highly recommend putting Banana Island on your agenda. every aspect of the trip was easy, luxury & beyond relaxing. the customer service on and off the island will blow you away!!!! Colleen on the boat was so personable.

It's a nice place, especially with family. All can enjoy the place and the amenities are superb. Excellent service team and hassle free activities.

I like it. Nice place and have alot of activities children and adult can enjoy. I would go there again in more cool weather.

Island is in the shape of a hence the cute name absolutely beautiful place... unfortunately, the worst bit is that the majority of activities and food are a separate cost.

Great. But the buffet for lunch should have more menus as the foods provided are quite limited. The price is quite expensive as such the quality should be equivalent to the services provided. Otherwise people will only come once.

As a first timer in the island, I really was amazed by the resort. The wonderful photos I have seen prior my visit justified the place. It has awesome food in Azraq. Very hospitable staff in the island which extends to the ferry service manned by great crews. Special shout out to Lalyn for her warmth hospitality.

very nice place. it is well known island from old days of Qatar. It was closed for a while and now after reconstruction it is back with several facilities and resorts. They also provide high class boating service to the island.
But the Price very high to book resort in the island.

It was great stay and service as usual.. the only thing is the break fast at alazraq restaurant is the same level however I have commented previously to put more variety and nice fruits .

Incredibly beautiful!! On the small offshore island (Banana Island) in front of Doha is the hotel "Banana Island by Anantara". Wonderful rooms complete the breathtaking hotel complex perfectly. The crossing took place with a luxury ferry in less than half an hour.
