Awesome place to spend time with family and friends. Expensive but worth it

Great place, super good food, nice walkpaths and views. Must visit if you like to relax and enjoy the time passing by! Real gingerbread house covered with real sugar snow was fantastic in the winter garden; as were pools by the sea.

What a great deal to go there for the day! Kids had a wonderful time as did the adults! Beautiful location and great service!

Unfortunatly it was not possible to swim in the sea because of the jelly fishes. I am asking wether there is no possibilty to keep them away of this island.

We went there in banana island and the boat journey experience is awesome and smooth, cant wait to come back again.

This is the place to stay in Doha if your budget permits but note that this one is alcohol free resort. Rooms, Restaurant, Services are superb with water sports facilities. Poolside offers excellent facilities and excellent service. The hotel is situated in good location. Only con is pricing but it is ok with facilities offered by the hotel. Spa is also very good. Certainly a enjoyable one. Strongly recommend for family stay.

Amazing experience, all the staff are very helpful and friendly. They made the stay extra pleasant. The fact that it's a private island means the beach is never overcrowded. People who stay for a few days receive quite a few perks such as as free hot drinks from the cafe everyday, discounts at the island restaurants and access to other resort activities. The onsite restaurants are a little pricey but service at the restaurants is great.

This island is amazing, it is so easy to forget that you re in Qatar as you swim in the cool sea and stare up at the blue clear skies. We stayed in a premier room, which was huge and very comfortable. The staff were amazingly attentive and friendly. I had a brilliant massage and pedicure in the spa. found it soooo difficult to leave the island :(

I work here . Place is very good . U can have fun at beaches. There are many recreational activities and guest can enjoy by having that . There is water park and kids club for kids. I work there as security.

Went there for New Year Eve dinner. It was a kids friendly event, reasonably priced. Buffet was amazing. Very friendly service. Price included ferry ride both ways. Would definitely come back!

A resort on the island of Banana, elegant and quiet, where all marine activities, sea and sea, small boats, swimming pools for all ages and villas have a swimming pool in addition to various activities for children such as bowling, cinema, surfing, Italian, global and Indian.

Worst experience in my whole life...not even exaggerating! Staff have no idea about hospitality...very very rude ..Tarek the manager needs help managing his anger issues and the other Tunisian guys should wait until the guest leave the room to start badmouthing them...I felt like I was in a drama movie ..hated it never going back there and I'm going to share my bad experience with the whole world.
Ps: writing this review while waiting for the next boat to come pick me up In around "45 mnts" after the manager (Tarek) wasted my time by losing my ID and just chatting with other people knowing that I might wait for an hour if he wasn't quick enough.

We.had a wonderful time here over a long weekend with the family. Doha seems a million miles away. The food was great wherever we ate, the creche was a godsend and the service was consistently good, and not intrusive.

While Doha boasts of a number of five-star hotels, you haven't tasted luxury unless you've been to the Antara Resorts in Banan Island. The place is simply stunning. The rooms have a view to kill for and the amenities and staff are the best money can buy. It was a thoroughly enjoyable experience.
