Now, I'm a huge fan of Hilton but this one was kind of a disappointment.
First of all, the shower was either really hot or really cold. There was no in between. The shampoo was half empty when we got in there, which was disappointing. They are supposed to switch out all the used bottles for new ones. The bathroom had poor lighting, when you took a shower you were in complete darkness.
The elevator was really shaky, not a bad thing but it can be dis-concerning.
It was a beautiful hotel though. Definitely worth the stay. Spacious rooms and big picture windows gives you an amazing view. It's walking distance from Disney Land which is a perk, also. You'll enjoy you're stay.

Extremely nice property. They share a courtyard with the Marriott across the street and the atmosphere is grand. They have no executive lounge, but provide easy access to a Starbucks and restaurants. Check-in was quick even though there was nearly two dozen separate check-ins. The rooms themselves are remarkable.
Some staff members were so amazing and made our stay fantastic, others not so much. They nickel and dime you like you wouldn t believe. $23 for WiFi, $21 a day for parking, $14 per person per day to use the gym. The indoor pool in the stock photos is part of the gym and only for lap swimming. Breakfast for 4 people was $112 for the buffet. It was good food but overpriced . The pool was nice. Rooms are nice compared with a motel 6, but not to the Hilton standard. Needs serious updating. Location is great for Disneyland. Bunch of happy kids running around and that s cool. Baja Fresh at the hotel, every item is marked up $3-5 compared to a regular store. We work hard for our money, too much unexpected costs.
Nice location next to disneyland with a clean polished look to the hotel. Rooms so far seem clean and nice with nothing out of the ordinary. Seems like a nice place
Great place to stay if you're going to Disneyland. It's about a mile away so it's walkable but it's right across the street from the toy story parking lot so you are only a street away from a shuttle to the park. Rooms are spacious and clean. Parking lot is a little low so I wouldn't recommend it for any raised trucks. 7ft or so ceilings. If you're going for a convention, the convention center is basically downstairs.
Pros. Awesome rooms, very friendly and helpful staff, very clean, great main restaurant. Excellent location right at the convention center plus Disneyland right around the corner and a short walk to their main entrance. Nice pool. Plenty of shopping and dining within easy walking distance. Cons. TV channels limited, need more outlets and some USB connections in the room, and service at the main hotel restaurant was hit and miss with some days being awesome and one being very poor. Better hours and quality needs improved at the food court.
Love. Love! LOVE this place! The staff is helpful and friendly from front desk to restaurant to shops and housekeeping. We got rooms at a reasonable rate that allowed us to enjoy Anaheim and Los Angeles more. Down the street from Disney and in walking distance or a short drive to most attractions and restaurants. Even the meeting rooms were nice and the staff there aimed to please.
I stayed at the Hilton Anaheim recently for a big convention and had a great time. I highly recommend staying here if you are in town for a trade show or other local event.
Was not pleased......... For the price I paid for this room, and for them not to have handicapped parking for free, nor affordable guest parking, this place was very well over priced for a best western feel. I'd never consider staying here ever again!
The room we were assigned was a bit dusty, and could have used a better cleaning but otherwise this is a great property. Parking is $21 per night and beds are comfortable.
I met my wife after a business meeting at the Mix. The host was friendly and knowledgeable and recommended the buffet. The server was slightly inattentive. I waited nearly 6 minutes to be acknowledged. The food was very good with multiple reasonably priced options. I would definitely return to this location if I had business in the area or was staying as an overnight guest.
Amazing... great hotel to stay if your visiting Disneyland... has a kids water play area that my kids loved. There are some rooms you could see the fireworks from. At the lobby plenty of food options and even a Starbucks. The restaurants breakfast buffet has plenty of option one of the top 3 breakfast buffets I been too. The TV though, Cant be a 5 stars if the TV is smaller then 40" and a old model.
Stayed for a trip to Disneyland. Great hotel for the price. With so many guest there were some delays checking in and getting questions answered. Once you had the attention of the staff they were prompt and attentive.
Love the staff! Super sweet and friendly and very professional. Relaxing pool area complete with a bar and grill. Spa, restaurants, concierge all within the same building and the convention center and Dinsey Land right next to the hotel adds great convenience. Downside is that it feels like you're paying more than what you get in regards to things such as smaller rooms than expected, cheap toilet paper (trivial, yes, but I do enjoy me some quality t.p.), and we didn't have a microwave in our room. Little things that aren't a big deal, you just expect more for the price.
Great hotel by Disney. Vanessa at front desk was outstanding and had wine and strawberrys sent to our room for our anniversary. Starbucks in the lobby saved the day for breakfast if you dont want the hotels food. Getting renovated this yr.
Very busy hotel. Lovely staff. Very children friendly. Have to wait in line for check in, elevators, food, check out. That's the logistics of an enormous hotel. But they do their best to manage it.
Excellent hotel with great restraunts near by and a world class gym with all equipments. Rooms are spacious and have value for money. Great locales and an amazing location to Disney world. Which is walking distance. A must stay hotel.
Convenient location to park and restaurants. Bar was very small for a hotel that holds conferences etc.. Amaze to find rooms and slow elevators. Overall hotel needs a makeover.
Very run down! The lobby is nice and the customer service is great but the room was awful. Broken doors, rusty light fixtures, chipping paint, and frayed carpet.
Not a top end Hilton but pretty nice. It's draw is it's right next door to the convention center. Nothing special about my room. About the quality of a Hampton inn. Food court had decent food but very over priced. Much better choices within a 5 to 10 minute walk.
Very nice hotel. The staff is very friendly and curtious. Pool on the fifth floor and guests laundry is there as well. Would have given 5 stars but I had to go all the way to the front desk to get 11 dollars worth of quarters for the laundry machines due to the change machine in the laundry room not working. Breakfast buffet is fantastic, the omelet cooks were fantastic! We had a great experience thanks Hilton.
Guest services were amazing and prompt on any requests. It was my son's birthday and they sent complimentary cookies and milk along with a birthday card.. when they didn't have to do anything. Very sweet of them. We signed up for the honors club which is free by the say. And we will be staying again.
It is a great place for vacation at LA. I booked this Hilton hotel online without knowing it is just next to the Disney Land. Agents we met are extremely kind. The parking fees are also very reasonable ~$21 per day. Highly recommend.
The Hilton has many nice workers, who will be there to attend to your needs. Seems like they have clean rooms but I see dust floating around the rooms alot. But, for those who stay for only a weekends length, its pretty good.
I am writing about our experience with the Hilton Anaheim near Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, CA. At 777 W Convention Way, Anaheim, CA 92802. We stayed for four nights between Jan 17-20. We wasted all of our Hilton Honor points that I had saved up, including points that I received for the LAST horrible Hilton experience we had last Summer, on this trip. Then we spent thousands of dollars on Disneyland that we couldn't even enjoy because we never got good sleep. Hilton has become such a disappointment to my family and me especially after its luxurious and rich reputation.
Let me start with the biggest problem - the vacation breaking problem. We did not have much money or credit card credit left over after buying the tickets for Disneyland and the hotel. When we checked in, my mom paid for the remaining hotel bill with her credit card then I gave my credit card to cover incidentals. I can't remember the exact amounts but I got charged for the incidentals AND the remaining room bill on my credit card. Then when we told them about it, they charged my mom's card and put an authorization for the incidentals TWICE. It was a big mess but long story short we were completely wiped out. No money for food, no money for souvenirs, it was awful. Thankfully my sister and her family also came on Saturday to help us out. Her family also stayed in your hotel in the room next to us and trust me, she had problems too.
Let me also explain the problems with the rooms. The biggest problem that was every two to three minutes the toilet, or the pipes behind the walls in the bathroom, would make a loud whistling noise. CONSTANTLY. It would wake us up over and over. The air conditioner didn't seem to work correctly and a couple of nights we felt over heated like crazy. Behind our bed we found left over trash as well as a big spider. The TV kept turning off at random intervals. The water in the shower kept going hot cold hot cold hot cold it was torture trying to just get clean. The bathroom door didn't close all the way in both my and my sister's room. She shared a lot of the same problems we did. And my mom's bed was slanted so it always felt like she was rolling towards one way and didn't feel even.
I think the worst part was that when we were leaving, one of the door stoppers (or maybe it was a hanger thing for clothes, the ones attached to doors) feel on my mom's head after moving the bathroom door. I'm sorry but it's just not acceptable that a hotel has so many problems when it comes to a person's vacation. You know how much it costs to visit Disneyland, it's something people save up for a long time for.
First off, it's never taken so long to check in to my reserved hotel room until Hilton Anaheim. What should be a quick process is drawn to such great lengths you'll wish you'd never heard of Mickey Mouse. It's a mega-hotel, so more than likely it'll require a hike to reach your room. The hot water is throttled, so you'll have to crank the knob all the way to achieve respectably hot water. To acquire toilet paper it requires nearly turning around completely on your seat. And the pillows might as well be empty pillow cases for all the comfort and neck support they offer.
The lobby area was nice and clean with several Eatery options. The room was a nice size and clean. I was, however, disappointed with customer service. I notified someone at the customer service desk that the coin laundry was broken, and he asked me to stand in line at the front desk to relay the message to someone else. Additionally the outdoor eatery/bar by the pool was consistently closed despite seeming to be at a peak time. The gym in the basement is nice, but charges an additionally daily fee to use it.
I recently stayed at the Hilton Anaheim and it was a very pleasant experience. The only complaint I would have is that the guest check-in took quite awhile. There was a very long line when I went to check into my room at 10:00pm. The staff at this hotel is very pleasant and the room was very clean. I was grateful to see we got the tenth floor because it is the quiet floor.
Our family had a great stay at the Hilton. We spent the days in Disneyland and the afternoon in the pool and dinner either in the hotel or in the park. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay at the Hilton again. It gets an A+
When we got to the hotel we found out that we had to pay for parking. When we got to the room, we found that we had to pay for wifi and there was no microwave. The hotel lobby looks amazing since it is holiday season! The room seems to be outdated for being a Hilton. The hotel location is great! Disneyland and food are about a 10-15 minute walking distance. Overall, our stay was great! Quiet and Comfortable.
I stayed for 2 night here , it was very crowded, but it's a hotel so you'd expect it to be. Staff was very polite and would send messages asking how my stay was going, you had to subscribe to a thing to get the free WiFi sadly, but Wi-Fi worked real well. There were a couple shops in the main lobby and a restaurant and bar, the only downside being it was quite pricey. The rooms were clean and well kept. If I could I would like the chance to stay here again.
I enjoyed my stay at the Hilton. I lost my ID prior to check in but the hotel accepted other forms of identification. So thank you to the kind lady who helped me through that trouble I appreciate your kindness. Rooms were clean, great view of CA, nice bar and great pool/jacuzzi. I enjoyed the sun deck the most! Would highly recommend and will be back. The only thing the Hotel didn t have that I wish they did was complimentary breakfast.
What a great hotel. Front desk staff are very friendly and incredibly helpful. I'm very selective with my hotel rooms and they helped me with everything. The cleaning staff even did something really sweet by leaving some hand towels in the shape of heart after I left a note for my wife (who was showing up later), even though I didn't ask. Staff was helpful with small requests such as extra towels and coffee. The hotel restaurant was delicious and the staff was on point as well. The pool is very warm and the two hot tubs felt amazing on my war torn feet. I will definitely return to this hotel.
Room clean and in good repair. Pool closed first 2 days, okay but nothing better. Food offerings not good - options okay but execution poor. Elevators in various states of repair. Overall, expected better.
The Hilton Anaheim is always a great place to stay. Located within walking distance to the convention center and a quick drive to Disneyland, nestled next to a few shops in case you have forgotten anything for your stay. The rooms have always been nice and clean, and the service friendly and helpful. It's probably my go-to hotel for events and business in Anaheim.
I was expecting more after seeing pictures and videos on youtube of this place. In the videos this hotel looks very nice but once you walk in you notice that EVERYTHING is outdated, the furniture is coming apart or faded, the lights were very dim, and our room was not properly cleaned before we checked. We found hairs in the bathroom, the alarm clock and several other items in the room were dusty. Not coming back here again! I am booking with homewood suites were I've stayed before and enjoyed my time there.
Had a very dated room. Looked like old dusty. Bathtub did not drain well. Would have about 2 to 3 inches of standing water while showering. The bathroom vent was caked with dust and it is right above the bathtub blowing on you while you shower. Our room was a mile away from the nearest elevator when we ask to change room near the elevator they refused. I will not be staying here ever again or at lease not in this location I expected a better, nice. This location needs to get remodel cause is very bad.
First Google review! I was excited to spend our three year anniversary at this hotel, pool view and all. Unfortunately we were downgraded at the last second without warning. We paid for the better room and we were told that the room was sold out. Therefore we got stuck with a less exciting room and some "continental" breakfast coupons. No credit redeemed, because the room we got was "double the price" that particular day. I have never experienced this with Marriott and plan to stay with them next time. Very disappointment..
A bit late of a review, but love the Hilton Anaheim location! Usually come here for conventions at the convention center. It's always in pristine condition with nice sized rooms. The only downside is that the hotel is rather large, meaning you will have to go a decent walk to get to your room. I recommend getting a room that's right outside the pool, it has tinted, soundproof sliding doors that give you easy access to the outside bar; or if you have children it's right next to the pool, (even though it's next to the pool you WILL NOT hear a thing)!
Very nice. Signage was subdued & not easily seen. I suppose I was looking for colors. The marque did show it but a busy day & had to "forge" through 3 pages. Parking was clean as there was a gentleman with a cart cleaning up what little there was.
I was upgraded to a Disney View room, but cannot see Disney. They nickel and dimed me $2 to give me a small package I had delivered. Paid $4.75 for the Starbucks coffee that is usually $2. I m a Hilton gold member, but hate these so-called resort hotels.
Here for an event. Looks like leaving the parking structure will an event as well!! We are on P4 - 30mims and we are still on P4!! What in the world. 11:54 made it to P3
The lobby pumps in some smell that I can only label as cheap old man cologne. Other than that I feel that this stay was above par with some of my stays at other places. I feel that the parking of 24$ is a bit more aggressive than I'm used to but it is also on part with surrounding hotels.
Fun fact. It's a little over a mile to Disneyland. And shuttles come right to the hotel. For a fee of course.
Disappointing! Shabby. Should NOT have a 4 star rating. Walls are paper thin, first room we had was a dog box with chipped furniture and stained carpet. Way overdue for refurbishment. Really recommend you stay somewhere else.
I stayed at this Hilton during a very busy expo at the convention center. The staff were on top of their game: from check in to luggage assistance to the team outside the lobby. I got texts asking how my stay was going and if there's anything I needed. Well done Hilton Anaheim.
I didn't actually stay here I was just visiting my cousin who was staying there. But from what I saw of the hotel was nice. The entrance has the biggest revolving door I have ever seen. Her room was very spacious and comfortable. I would definitely recommend a stay here but do beware of fees for parking and resort plus a large deposit.
I have stayed at both the Marriott and Hilton in the convention center circle and I am not as impressed with the Hilton. To start my stay, I discovered the gym costs and additional 9 dollars per day for guests. Now, it is a crazy nice place with a salt water pool, etc. However, I wanted a decent gym like the one that comes with your stay across the commons at the Marriott. When I returned to my room to shower for the first time the bathroom door would not close all the way as it hit the toilet. Now, this must have caused housekeeping to not clean behind the toilet for a while because when I closed the door there were black hairs on the door and black hairs and grossness in the corner of the bathroom next to the tub. This was enough for me to go down and request a new room, and on my way to pack up my luggage I then discovered a "fingernail" on the floor, not mine, again. The manager was very helpful and I will say I ended up in a great room with no further issues beyond the gym fee, but these rooms cost a lot of money and I would expect more from a higher tier facility.
Our room was beyond aged. There s paint scuffed off the wall from where the bed rubs. The carpet looks to be from the Nixon era. The walls are chipped and dented. Rust engulfs the air vents. The black mold growing on the sitting chair was right at face level for my toddler. The lobby and common areas are super nice - making the quality of the rooms almost deceptive.
You can t slap a Hilton sign on a hotel and call it 4 stars. I ve stayed at better kept Motel 6 s.
Day 3 Update - they ve promised 3 times to come clean this vent we have to shower under. I may be slowly turning into a dust mite.
Hilton is an enormous hotel. Which is the reason for my rating. Depending on the floor you are on, it may feel a bit abbandoned. Large courtyards but they have plenty to do. Busy lobby and bar. Bar is perfectly placed.
Excellent customer service and extremely clean. Kids courtyard with the pool and kids games is a plus. Recommend for business as it's convenient and accessible to everything.
We stayed at the Hilton Anaheim for six nights during Thanksgiving week. The hotel is stunning and was all decorated for Christmas with multiple Christmas trees in the lobby. Our room was spotless and was extremely comfortable and spacious. Our view was of a parking lot, but that's okay since we were in the Parks mostly. We will definitely stay here on our next trip to Disneyland!
I came to this hotel for use as my friend and I visited Disney Land. I won't go into details as to what the staff had to do, but I will state that the staff went above and beyond what could be expected for a hotel. The staff were all kind and accommodating despite being busy at all hours of the day. Enjoy your stay here and if you need anything just ask and I believe you'll be pleasantly surprised.
Semi hard bed, small inadequate pillows, slightly stained carpet, otherwise very clean room, small TV, greasy beef sandwich and sweet fries ($25), $26 parking (valet required for EV charge/parking) . Very nice lobby (bait and switch as usual). Small bathroom, nice fixtures, cheesy hairdryer, no microwave.
We stayed here for about a week the hotel was simple with the rooms the staff is so good and helpful as well as the hotel is in vey nice location had a great experience. would definitely stay again.
A great posted rate and friendly check-in was followed by a pool-deck crowded with coolers, red cups, and piles of used towels. The gym costs $9 per person for Hilton Honors members, more for non-Honors guests (see accompanying photo; no cost is mentioned in the hotel directory); and when confronted about that cost, the desk manager said the prices were "listed on the Hilton website" before offering one free pass for us to, I don't know, split? I hate being yanked, but that's what happened.
Overall, okay. But only okay. And with some real drawbacks.
Went to Amazing Parish convention in Anaheim. Got here Monday afternoon. Everything is top notch. The food is delicious the service is phenomenal, the people (Catholics) were wonderful, the time was spiritual
The rooms were really comfortable. However, they did not have microwaves. The staff was absolutely wonderful and kind and friendly, they made the experience excellent. Hilton has everything you need when travelling as a family or on a business trip from multiple food options, stores, and even a FedEx all inside the hotel! They have a guest laundry as well. It is close to many great attractions including Disney. You do have to buy a pass for a shuttle but the fees are very low and you get an all day pass for the shuttle. My first night was convenient as I was near the elevator. My second time staying was far from the elevator and was almost confusing as I had to go down several halls without any layouts of the hotel. The overall experience was wonderful. I highly recommend this place for families who want a comfortable stay while vacationing.
The location of this hotel is excellent. The check-in staff are friendly and the rooms are clean. However, there are some issues I have with this hotel. The biggest issue: you have to pay to use the gym. Now, don't get me wrong, the facility is very nice with rooms for group classes in indoor cycling and yoga or Zumba. They have an indoor pool that you get access to when you pay to use the gym as well... The problem is that no where does anything tell you that you have to pay a fee the use the fitness center until you go to use it and the clerk tells you that you have to check in-- oh and by the way, it costs $10 a day if you want to come in. Really, Hilton?!!! When the cost of my room is nearly $300 a night because I am paying extra for a view of Disneyland, it still doesn't come with access to the fitness center??? What exactly am I paying for? The view of Disneyland was another thing that felt like a bit of a scam. The room did have a wonderful view, no doubt. But, when the fireworks start, there is no good place to sit and watch. If you lay on the bed, the desk, dresser, and TV obscure the view entirely. And, the table and chairs in the room were placed along the window away from the fireworks. So the best seat in the house, no joke, was from the toilet with the bathroom door open! The staff at the hotel tried to appease me by waiving my fitness center fee, but despite that, I don't know if I will come back. It was not a great value (at least not for the room I had this trip). I stayed at this hotel for nearly a week because I was attending a conference, and if I had used the fitness center each day of my stay, I could have paid for an entire month's membership (or, two!) at 24hr fitness. Thank you, Hilton Anaheim, you definitely made the trip a memorable one!
The wall are so thin so you can clearly hear everything happening outside or in the room next to you, and every word they are speaking. The noise problem is the most severe I have experienced in any hotel. I guess it's a common problem here so if you can't stand big noise you should give it serious thought before booking here. The lock on the door to the room next to us is also broken.
Stayed at the hotel Nov 1 - 4th. Was able to check in early, room was clean and nice. Ordered room service and food arrived within 5 minutes when was told it would be 25 minutes. Employees were friendly and helpful.
Had a horrible 5 day stay at this Hilton to propose to my fiance in Disney Land. The only perk of staying at this hotel is being close to Disney Land. The valet parking people lost my car the first day and made us wait 30 MINUTES! The valet manager "Nacy" said she would take care of the first day since we had to wait. Of course the check out manger said they can't do that because they are with a different company. So they gave me the full run around and charged me the full 5 days of valet parking. Also, they charge a 50 dollar deposit a day which was not mentioned. Keep in mind the hotel was paid in full 4 months ahead of time. You also have to pay for every little thing such as internet (If you get the honors internet you have to login every time you come back) I'm surprised they don't charge for using their shower and pillows. Again please look at other reviews as they are VERY OVER PRICED! The pool was small and dirty. There was trash and a broken down mini fridge between every elevator hall. For being a Hilton you would think it would be more clean. The bell service guy purposely dropped our blankets on the way to car after we checked out. Luckely I saw them on the floor. The rooms were very nice, however with all this bs they almost ruined our trip. Will not be back! Stay at the marriot next door or at the Disney Park Resort PLEASE! I guarantee you will not be happy.
Hotel is gorgeous and super conveniently located for the convention center. Also walking distance from Disneyland. Downside is that anytime you need to do something at the front desk there's a line and the desk is under staffed.
Food and the bar is better across the street at the Marriott.
The Hilton in Anaheim is overpriced for what it is. The rooms are small and claustrophobic. The ceilings are low and claustrophobic. Windows do not open and there is no fresh air to be had. The AC works as hard as it can to keep the room to only 74/75 degrees in the afternoon. The water from tap is quite bad - they could filter it, but instead they charge $5 for 500ml water bottles - yes, that's $10/liter. The 2 in-room coffee pouches would be decent if the water wasn't so bad, alas. If the rooms were larger, water drinkable, and temperature comfortable, this would be a 4 or 5 star review. The people are great.
Hilton for life. I was at another hotel the day before my Hilton stay. Was able to check in at 6:45am and got a courtesy Hilton gold check out time of 2pm. So basically 33 hrs vs 24 hrs as a courtesy. The other hotel (rhymes with Terion) was not nearly as nice.
Very nice place, yes the rooms are dated. But the view of Disneyland fireworks it's worth it! The workers are soooo nice! They all treated me when they seem me. Even while randomly passing they say hello. Felt very safe (you need a key to get past the lobby area) and security was amazing when a bird flew into the hallway.
