Older casino of course, most machine's volume were turned off or really low. Buffet was just okay.

A great place to stay while visiting Mississippi and gamble. They practice social distancing. The employees are always nice to me and my family

First time there I won ! staff is very nice and the food is good. The ambiance is good, Ill go back.

Went for the first time last week. Everything was awesome until I wanted to play blackjack at a live table. They only had one low-stakes table open and it was full. I asked the pit boss if they could open another table (there were five of us sitting behind the players waiting to play) I was told they didn't have enough people on the casino floor to open another table. So I waited... I was in the casino for four hours and not one person at that table ever got up. FOUR HOURS people wanted to play but couldn't because there were not enough tables open. That ruined my whole experience there. Just because I did not want to spend $25 a hand at the only other blackjack table available.

Been a couple of times. 2-3 times since sports betting began. One STAR given because the whole place smells of an ashtray. Truly. Y'all need more/better smoke eaters. They're available. Been in bar business. They work. Nice place. I liked the sports section seating. But was sick and smelled of an ashtray when I left. Fix problem and non smokers will come.

The hotel is nice but nothing fancy. The buffet is very good and they have a good number of table games. The customer service is pretty good as well!

No cleaning service unless you ask. Our bathroom floor was dirty, no fitness center, no restaurant and the pool was not open. These amenities were not disclosed when we booked the room for three days. Also we were promised a third day comp via a phone call with permission from our host. but when we registered in we were told that we had to pay for the third day which we paid.

Love the Sunday brunch. Great food and atmosphere.

Very disappointed ! We called ahead to make sure they had Mississippi Stud but in the 3 days and nights we were there, the table was never open ! Pushed the service button on multiple machine and no one EVER showed up !

Had an awful experience with security with my temporary Id after being told by security via phone the day before there would be no problems.

Buffet experience was not the best. The femael cashier did not tell my wife that the crab legs are an extra charge when we paid upfront. That was the whole reason for coming out. Didn't want to pay again after we found out about the extra charge because the other food that was available was not that great either . And one of the female staff asked my wife for her i.d. as we were leaving the buffet. Made no sense since you have to show i.d. to get in the place. Black women in the service industry are the worse sometimes when a brother has an attractive wife. That will be our last time going to Ameristar.

Fun place! A little smoky.. but overall nice. Love the buffet...many choices! Great view of the Mississippi River.

Buffet is like nursing home food. $55.05 for three people, not worth it!

DO NOT GO ON STEAK NIGHT. The steak is extra and mandatory. It was the worst piece of meat (if you can call it that) I have ever seen. You get a separate ticket for the steak to be presented to the cook. She then gets a piece of meat from a pot of juice(???) and flips it onto the grill for about 5 seconds and turns it then you get it. This was so overdone that my wife and I could not even take one. Our friends got one but couldn't eat it. The rest of the buffet was fine and it was clean.

I went for a professional event in the Bottleneck Blues Bar. The food was great, if you like seafood. The music was fun. The drinks took a little while, but there were a ton of people.

Thr cash window wasn't efficient at all. The crawfish were good though.

One of my favorite places to unwind and relax my time to myself.

The buffet wasnt bad, went on the seafood night and they had shrimp, catfish, salmon. Oysters and crab legs are extra but they're just frozen but what do you expect. You want a seafood buffet go down to Biloxi, top notch.

The casino is a joke. Pretty much all the slots are the old ones with, 3 reels, and one pay line. Those are the worst if you ask me.

None smoking room smelled like smoke, nearly got a fee for late check-out because no one was at the front desk.
They charge a 50 dollar convenience fee. Hidden in the terms in condition.

Casino and hotel are nice and the place has a lucky feel to it. The less interaction with the casino staff the better based on my own interactions.

The casino sucks it's dirty the staff and workers are very unprofessional all have attitudes. It is by far my worst gambling and staying experience in my life. Never ever ever go to Ameristar hotel nor casino. It is the worst place in Vicksburg to go.

Was working in the area and went to the casino was during the week not a lot of people there. Not a lot of tables opens plenty of slot machines though.
