Ameristar offers 30 dollars bonus play for new card sign up but never follows through on their guarentee, this is not only a shady practice, its probably illeagal.They should be reported to the gaming commission. It's happened to everyone I've recommended. Less than one star

My grandchild and I went to buffet tonight. The food is always good but tonight it was cold had to wait for the cooks to bring out food. You heard slot of cussing and laughing going on back there. I have been there over 50 times in ,8 yrs and I can't believe my experience tonight

I had a great time on this visit and every other visit. I'm a gamer not a gambler, and Ameristar's environment is great to just come and chill. The service is always great and the extra bonus is the potential to win a few dollars. It's my FAVORITE place to go and overall top pick when it comes to casinos. This is my place to go to get my mind off of everything and relax....while having a great time.
Terrible. The toilet did not flush. Made staff aware and the only response was that is awful . My husband had to take the tank lid off to flush the toilet so the room did not stink. The bed was nice and room was clean.
In the casino we were never offered drinks even after being there an hour. Casino was poorly ventilated so the cigarette smoke was terrible

They messed me out of money they promotion say i had but they say it expired. I got the coupon that says i have it.
This was a pleasant surprise. My Mom and I were passing through and found this Casino by accident. The buffet was great - southern cooking delish! Great views of the Mississippi River and covered parking. If you're in to gambling this seems like a nice place to eat, drink, gamble, and catch a show. Great Location!

No thanks as far as the Casino goes. Only one roulette table and the croupier was soooo slow!!!! Bourbon's restaurant on the other hand was phenomenal!
Seafood night at the restaurant was fabulous! I ate so much, they had to roll me out of the restaurant! The gambling was okay. I am from the West Coast and frequent Las Vegas regularly. So, I found the mix of games to be quite adequate. By far, the Craps table was the most fun. The Dealers were very friendly and knew how to keep the action moving. Will definitely hit it again.

Stopped in for the night passing through and within an hour had our next vacation paid for...$7k winnings in less than an hour makes for a really fun vacation. Whoever says penny slots aren't lucky, just show them these two pics.

We've been coming in that casino 2 or 3 times a month. Never hitting on the poker machines, the only ones who do hit. Seem to be the same people. Funny how that works !!!

We went to the Casino only to try their nationally renowned seafood buffet, nowhere online did we see that if would be closed on Tuesday. When we arrived we were so hungry we decided to eat at whatever was avail. We walked up to Bellas read the sign to order at the counter, sat at the bar thinking this is the counter, none greeted us nor told us we needed to order at a different part of the counter. There was a line, no menus to read ahead to order so as you can i.agine ordering took a hot minute. Basically we left without ordering. Truly dissappointed this was the second casino we stopped at in Vicksburg both disappointing where food was concerned
Came here for a 1 night stay for my sisters wedding 07/15/2017. The check-in guy was rude and had a very sarcastic mouth. Then to top it off the room we stayed in had stains on the linen on one of the beds and the Front Supervisor and a cleaning manager had the nerves to say it was from us. We checked in at 9:30pm and did nothing but go to sleep because we were too tired from the wedding. At the site of it it appeared to be blood. But the Front Supervisor stated she sent the pictures to her director and he stated that it wasn't, not once did he speak with us. But they did insultingly offer us $22.00 dollars back off our stay. Poor customer service. Especially since we went back in the room with the staff I stripped the bed to the mattress and there was even yellow stains on the other linen. They had no words for me then. What an experience this was I will not be staying here ever again. Thanks Ameristar Hotel Management Staff for poorly handling our issue.
The staff was friendly & courteous throughout the casino. I enjoyed the variety of machines offered for playing, though they seemed a bit tight on the winning percentages... We ate at the Buffet while there & it was quite delicious. The majority of the food has a homecooked flavor, which is what drew us to stop here for starters... Even if we hadn't gambled, we'd still have had a delicious meal!
I like the people there. Sometimes you can win a little too.
I always love coming here. Every time we travel across county we stop in here and take a break.
