Beautifully restored. Great staff. We enjoyed our stay and the meals and show!

Top notch restaurant, resort and spa. The new owners have certainly done some amazing remodeling, and gave brought life back into a place that was dying a slow death. The food is very tasty, and the newly refurbished restaurant and bar have a wonderful atmosphere, not to mention a wonderful view. Sit out on the balcony if it's available. You won't be disappointed.

Murder Mystery Weekend was a blast. The remodeled resort was top 10. Worth the visit!

More like being at home not a hotel. Staff was excellent. Food as well! Great destination spot for a wedding or meeting.

I attended a play at Allenberry. The staff were kind and helpful. The facilities were comfortable and clean. The sticky buns were delicious!

We enjoyed a show at the Playhouse. The venue is small without being claustrophobic, lending an intimacy to the production. The players, though amateurs, were skilled and well-rehearsed. The musicians providing accompaniment were likewise excellent. The facility was clean and in good repair.

I was very impressed with the resort. They clearly renovated recently, and the grounds look amazing. The restaurant was very classy, and the "world famous" stickybuns didn't disappoint.

Went to see Shrek on our anniversary and it was a great performance.

Fantastic stay! Our group of 8 rented the "Creek House" which there are no pictures online for. The home is extremely well appointed with beautiful kitchen & deck over the water. Immaculate grounds with wood fire pits & fisherman's dream, I think my father caught atleast 30+ fish in 2.5 days. Restaurant was very good & staff phenomenal! Perfect, peaceful, relaxing weekend getaway spot!

My son is in a play at the Playhouse. They have a great new community theater company there and it is really revitalizing the area and the resort.

Excellent food and very comfortable social distancing

The appetizers we shared at the barn were excellent, as were the drinks. The room was nice and clean, but a bit noisy. We could here music from the prom in the tent below our room, the train going across the creek, and people talking in the halls and walking on the floors above us. Overall a nice place, and we would finely come back to eat or see a play.

My co-workers and I recently stayed at Alenberry as sort of a team building exercise, to say say I was impressed would be an understatement. The facilities themselves were top notch, the food was excellent, the service was great, but the most amazing part of our stay was doing the team building with Cody. I was super apprehensive about the whole team building process at first, but the way Cody lead, organized and developed everything left me in awe by the end of the trip. If you are considering attempting to get you team to grow closer together, I strongly suggest letting Cody help!

Wow! Is about the only word to best describe this place. My daughter held her wedding there. The staff was super friendly and out going. Everyone from the chauffeur type staff to maintenance was quick and Courteous to everyone from young children to the elderly guest. Everyone had a smile, which put a smile on all our faces. Not sure if the photographer is part of the resort or if she was hired privately, regardless, she would not have been my choice, nor would I hire or use her again. She did not listen to the bride, groom or family about what they would have liked to be taken. It was what she wanted and not much else. Other than that, the place is stunning!

Took daughter to see little mermaid for her 4 th birthday. I think I loved it more then her. It was my first time to ever see a show.

Wonderful atmosphere, fantastic service, great food.

The updates look good. Prices at the bar were high. We attended a wedding and had trouble finding where to go. Better signage would have been nice so we knew where to go.

It's a beautiful place. The decorating and landscaping is lovely. Looking forward to having or company Christmas party there.

The service and atmosphere for dinner there was wonderful. All decorated and were valued customers with family for a birthday!

I was in a wedding at Allenberry this weekend and it was top notch, wonderful venue for any occasion and the staff was incredibly friendly and attentive to all out needs

Relaxing and beautiful. Wedding was going on while we were there. The music did not bother us. The woman at the front desk and woman at the bar were super friendly and fun. My wife and I already booked for next year. Only down side I see is it is very pricey.

Spent thousands there in the past. Hosting a 45 pandemic event? Bye bye.

I have not yet had the good fortune to stay or dine at the Allenberry yet, but I did do some fishing on the Yellow Breeches at the foot of the property. Not only are they welcoming to anglers, Nick at the front desk went above and beyond when I stupidly left my two rods next to the stream. Despite being the only person at the front desk he agreed to go down to the river and look for my rods. This not only saved me 2+ hrs of additional driving to double back and pick them up it also eased my mind tremendously. Hopefully they'll still be there when I go back to pick them up next week!

The new play house is nice, but the seats are a bit close. Especially if you are a XXL like some of our group. The space between the seat infront and and behind is too small!

It is a beautiful and will maintained resort. It is lovely for dinner parties.

Beautiful facilities, friendly service, and Keystone Theatrics put on a great show

This quiet historical resort has been redone and it is gorgeous. The renovations honor the history and bucolic seeing while providing for fresh and comfortable modern amenities and accommodation. It is soothing and relaxing especially for a work getaway when decision making and exploring are low on your priority list. The on-site restaurant, The Barn, is exquisite, highlighting local farm to table treats lovingly created with delicious cocktails to match. My personal faves were the Bluecoate Sour with the Steak Tartare and truffle fries. We also enjoyed enjoyed talking in a play at the inside playhouse a and dip in the redone pool.

Allenberry Resort is a perfect spot for a day trip or weekend. Every time I visit and see the unique architecture along the Yellow Breeches Creek I remember my sister s wedding and how wonderful an event it was for the whole family. Boiling Springs is fortunate to have Allenberry. I m interested in the new community that is being built next door. Does anyone know how to contact the real estate company?

Disappointed we love this place. But the last 2 times the customer service was a bit to be desired! Although situations were corrected these situations could have been avoided! We were not told that the building was turned to a pet friendly building! Halls were full of dog hair and stained! Our feet were black after walking on the floor in our room! A dog came on with it owner and was soaking wet from the pond!!! We booked a room and the room smelled stale and carpet was dirty! We were offered another room! We love this place since it is not far off the highway when traveling! Beautiful grounds! My husband sent pictures of how dirty our feet and the floor was he received no response!

Excellent! 15 minutes from the Carlisle Showfield. I stayed here during the Mopar Nationals. Extremely nice place, customer service was perfect, very relaxing, laid back, perfect place to relax after a long day at the show. The property has a fire pit down by the river, perfect place to chill and have a cold one after a long day, and chat with other guests. Food was good, room was clean, very nice!

The food combinations paired very well with each other and were well themed for the season.

The grounds are beautiful. It s just very unorganized. We went for dinner and didn t have reservations, we waited an hour on the grounds enjoying drinks from the bar. Very nice. Then we were seated and waited and waited. No one was told we had been seated? So no wait staff came to our table. Finally I ask a waiter bussing a table next to us and he seemed confused, went and talk to a few others and finally a young lady came over and said what did you want, who wants to start ok so we ordered and everything came out quickly. Then the waitress asked if we wanted any desserts TO GO . So we paid and tipped and left. I ve worked in the food industry in school and I have no idea how they plan on staying open with this type of customer service? We were a group of locals from Carlisle that would certainly frequent a restaurant that was good. And for the prices they charge the service has to be quality. Sorry for the run on but That was my experience and my opinion. Kinda a sad attempt at a high end place

It is a beautiful setting along the Yellow Breeches. The buildings have been renovated and the staff is top notch.

Good venue, staff was polite. Could have been organized better but overall, satisfied with the experience.

The theatre is quaint. The Christmas play was extraordinary!

Food is amazing and the atmosphere is nice. I will definitely be visiting again soon.

This is a hidden gem for Central PA. It is conveniently close to Harrisburg but the moment you arrive you feel secluded far from any city. The quality of the lodges, food, and all facilities is top notch boasting a modern design and a warm coziness of another time. The dinner was delicious and the staff were very friendly. We left a bag in our room and they found it right away.

The atmosphere was beautiful, the staff was very nice and helpful however the food was not very good.

We went to see The Little Mermaid performed. The music was fantastic and the singers were able to lock in chords simply beautifully. The performance itself was incredible and I would highly recommend anyone to go see this amazing display of artistry.

This resort is very charming and a great place to relax. This would be a great location to hold a wedding or for a staycation. Bring the family for one of the many public events they hold here for your enjoyment.

Whether there for a show, an event, or just to visit their restaurant or bar, the staff has always been very friendly. Haven't had a bad experience.

Beautiful location staff more then willing to accommodate

I would love to give 5 stars but Allenberry has been disappointing the past few times we have been there. The potential is obtainable but they continue to fall short. It s simply not just one item because it s many. Check in for the hotel is a hostess stand immediately when you walk in, Most of the staff gave off the personality of being unapproachable and no sense of urgency, key cards not coded correctly, outside porch furniture dirty, watching the staff gather outside for their smoke breaks, speeding golf carts at night, I had dropped off gift baskets a week ahead of time to go into 2 guest rooms and they were forgotten. Customer service was simply not there however I will say that the room service cleaning staff was exceptional. The rooms and cottages were extremely clean. I am definitely rooting for Allenberry and hopeful that with a few changes this can be a 5 star resort like it once was.

Service was great and the wagyu burger was fantastic!

Unimpressed; we waited a solid hour for any food (including appetizer). One entree came out 20 mins before the other, and the second entree was not what was ordered.
The atmosphere was nice, but the food and service weren't worth the price.

Beautiful dinning room with excellent food. Was there for Easter Brunch and had a wonderful experience. Also. It doesn't hurt that they have some of the best sticky buns I have ever had.

Visiting Pennsylvania from Denver, Colorado and tried The Barn restaurant last night for the first time. The resort and buildings are gorgeous and the setting is picturesque, I was blown away, but my excitement ended there. They advertise a "Thirsty Thursday" on their website, which usually implies a drink special or happy hour of some kind, but no real specials existed. There was, however, live music stuffed in a corner of the basement. Bartenders weren't friendly or welcoming when I explained it was my first time in and that I wasn't from the area. We ordered a few starters and the food was appalling. The hummus and lavash was a plate of flavorless cardboard, the sambal calamari had some weird sweet glaze on it, too much batter and no chili flavor. The people next to us at the bar ordered the same calamari dish and it came out looking completely different. The real winner of the night was the dry, pasty caponata and completely over salted polenta fries, the dish looked like it had been sitting out all day. When I mentioned it to the bartender she said the cook said it was supposed to look like that, but he could fix it for me with some milk...gross, not the right fix. I'm accustomed to regularly eating from high end menus that command similar prices to this and I expect a certain quality of food for that price, this place is a massive missed opportunity and a real let down in my opinion.

They did an excellent job on renovations. The food and service was terrific!!

Amazing place! I enjoyed a great few days fly fishing and skeet shooting with my father and brother. The staff is professional and the fly fishing is world class. Cody had planned all our activies. He was personable and extremely helpfull. I can not wait to go back which will hopefully be very soon.

This is such a great place!! Little mermaid was so amazing!! All of my kids loved it from 15 to 7 boys and girls!!

Even though it was pouring down rain, I can't believe the transformation of Allenberry and how beautiful it was. Food was great and service outstanding. I can't wait to go back out when the sun is shining. Definitely a must see.

Food was great and the renovation they did is great.
