Resort was definitely worth its price in regards to lodging, the grounds, and atmosphere. There is a pool, multiple relaxing areas along the stream and near the resort with fire pits... Somany beautiful views. I hate to say it, but our dinner was one of the most underwhelming experiences we've had in a long time. The mushroom bread appetizer was minimal at best and flavor was okay. The salad was also rather miniscule and croutons were as hard as a rock. The duck entree was tiny and extremely over cooked and the vegetables that it came with we're on the verge of being raw. I don't like to complain it is simply experience that I had. I would definitely return to the resort because the setting and atmosphere alone are worth value.

Service was painfully slow from the food to drinks to the check. It was not busy. No one greeted us for quite some time. It took 10 minutes just get our water refilled and did not see our server for 15-20 minutes to grab the check.This is just very basic stuff that shouldn't be overlooked.

Great place to stay. The room was very cozy and fireplace was wonderful. Good spa! Good food and sticky buns.

We were a little sad no pastry chef on Mondays- day off- but sticky bun was awesome, coffee good, baked oatmeal good and nice atmosphere. We will have to come back for the obviously home made biscuits.

We had a family reunion in one of the rooms, the food and staff were excellent.

The kids shows at the Allenberry never disappoint! Can't wait till the next one!

Ate at the Barn restaurant for the second time. The food is great. Service can use a little more work but was good overall.

We could not have been more thrilled with the all-around experience, service, and hospitality we received from Allenberry and their staff. We used Allenberry's lodging, facilities, and services for a corporate retreat to Harrisburg for our company March 2019. We specifically worked with Cody Meassick and the corporate and team building activities with multiple outdoor experiences that will serve well-beyond our 4 days in Pennsylvania. Cody has continued to help our business define and build its culture and mission. He went above and beyond in helping us plan our event and even arranged and himself drove our shuttle to and from the local area caterer we were visiting through the trip. The facilities are gorgeous and the thought behind each activity was worth it. Thank you so much!
