Roof top patio easily offers the best views into LoDo of any bar in town. Wait staff are fast, competent & friendly. Vallet parking is free (as in FREE) and they even serve Left-Hand Nitro Milk Stout!

This is a great place. Huge restaurant with good pub food. The beer list is really interesting and there are always a few things on draught that will surprise you. Its a great hangout place, and, when its not cold and snowing, their rooftop patio is one of the best in town with an awesome view.

The food was superb. The service was great. It was the ambience that tainted what would otherwise have been a stellar experience. Why do restaurateurs believe that being surrounded by large screen televisions at every turn is something people want? The din of conversation was already loud during our dinner and there was no shortage of people checking their handheld devices. Food this good deserves an atmosphere conducive to good digestion. I don't want to see COPS or other reality shows of that ilk. I look across the table at faces smiling back at me and then out of the corner of my eye I glimpse some low-life being pummeled by police. There's something not right with that aesthetic. I hope someone reads this and takes it to heart. Not all of us are screen addicts.

Been there 5+ times. Lunch service is consistently slow. Fish and chips are bland (tried them three times to make sure it wasn't a fluke) and the other things I have tried there are nothing to write home about either.

Our first time there and certainly not our last. The menu choices were many and varied. The portions we found generous and worth the price. The food was fabulous, made exactly as specified. Seating open air on a warm day. Service was friendly, fast and efficient. One to put on you hidden gem list! Five Stars.

Awesome atmosphere, great food, but Jaycee or something (bartender) gets a ONE star. She set a shot in front of us saying you girls want a shot? So of course we thought she was being nice or someone got them for us. We were slightly confused but agreed to take them. And then we were billed for the $7 shots that we NEVER ordered and basically handed to us. So, terrible service from her. Just beware of deceptive bartenders. Not impressed.

I love this place!! We always have friendly servers! The deep fried brownie is worth every calorie! Great drinks... and the brussel sprouts are the best I've ever had! We've eaten here many times and I've never had something that I didn't like! :)

It's in a nice location and great atmosphere but the food was not good. The pork tacos I got were very dry with no flavor and the wings were not good. I would go there again for drinks but get food elsewhere.

My plan was to give 3 stars, but the service made up for the not so great food. One thing that really irritates me at restaurants is when I order my child Mac and cheese and they come out with a bowl of Kraft. That's disgusting. How hard is it to throw together some milk and cheese and make Mac and cheese from scratch? Then you charge $5 for it? Come on now. My burger, ordered medium, was mid well at best. My husband's fried chicken was tender, but the chicken itself lacked flavor. He did enjoy the spice in the mashed potatoes. Good beer list (obviously). Overall, the food was a 3. The service, on the other hand, brought this place up to 4 stars. Our server (I apologise for now recalling her name) was attentive, but not overbearing. She came at the right times to check on us. She was considerate of the fact we had a young child with us and was accommodating. There was another server who was not ours, but he also was very pleasant, helped pre-bus the table and was friendly. We sat on the roof top. The views we're great and worth the not so great food. I can't say we'll return, but the service deserves a mention for sure.

Food was okay, but the WORST part was the service. It took over 15 min to get drinks and then after our food was delivered, we had to get up and ask for salt and pepper and silverware. Then we had been done for at least 10 min with no one helping to clear so we stacked our plates on our own and waited to see if any staff could take a hint. Well they didn t. We ended up going to the host stand to see if they could help us. Never again. Service was bad. Service was rude.

Very cool interior, lots of space, big open windows when the weather is nice. Excellent service! I am a vegetarian so the most impressive thing was that all the hamburgers were avaliable with a chick pea patty! I had a salad that was delicious! I highly recommend!

The place is nice looking with nice downtown views from the patio, the beer selection is mostly Breckenridge (now owned by AB-inbev). The food is decent, but pricey for what it is. And the service is slow. The bartender gave me my check and then didn't come back for 12 min even though I was one of 3 people at the bar

I was there a couple weeks ago and they delivered the wrong beer to me at my table, I ordered a pale and they brought me an amber. I couldn't get the server's attention so I just went up to the bar and asked the bartender for the right beer. After asking me where I was sitting and what I ordered, the bartender informed me that he did in fact pour the right beer and that I was mistaken. I showed him the beer and explained that it doesn't even look like the right beer, he again assured me that I was wrong. We went back and forth for a couple minutes, and the bartender refused to acknowledge that he gave me the wrong beer and he eventually just walked away from me. I don't really plan on ever going back to this place again.

I used to go to Ale House all the time as an easy, low maintenance place to go for a beer or two and some delicious food before going out. Once Covid hit, I was afraid they might not have the same level of service as they used to, but when I went earlier today to meet some friends it was amazing! Big shout out to our server Hannah!! Great food (the pulled pork is insanely good), amazing beer selection, and such great service!

All of the facilities seemed very well social distanced and clean as well. Hannah was the BEST! She actually helped me as I was waiting for a hostess, and happily served me once we got to the table as well. She provided a very quick table touch when I sat down and immediately brought me water for the table, and warmly welcomed me and started a quick and informative chat about their beers. She quickly found me an IPA that I LOVED and she even brought me and my guests a few tasters throughout the meal of beers we might like, without is even asking. She seems super knowledgeable about beer, and was incredibly eager to help us out. Fortunately since they weren t super busy, she was able to give us a lot of great info about the restaurant, their food, and the area. This is absolutely the kind of service I was hoping for! Myself and my guests were very happy with everything and I will continue to come back as a happy customer!

Great food, great drinks, great service. Truly a multidimensional dining experience!

This place had a fantastic rooftop patio, a great beer selection, yummy food and of course - excellent service to match. There were two high top tables with fire pits in the centers, and the retractable roof moved back to offer an open sky. The views of downtown were a nice touch as well. I highly recommend the Bristol World Peace Death Ray to any IPA lover looking to try local beer.

Food is ok. Location is great. Worst part is the completely inconsistent reservation policy. I try to get in Thursday.... need reservations. Call for reservations on Sunday.... need to come in to be put on wait list. C'mon now. Do one or the other.

Found this place while I was in line for another brewery that had an hour wait so we walked over. Best decision we made that day! Happy hour is available on weekends which is always a big plus. We were pretty hungry so I didn t get a picture of the food at first but snagged one before we demolished it all. We had a half order of pretzels with queso and a half order of cheese nachos. Everything was super delicious. The pretzels were perfect, wished we got the full order. Highly recommend for food and drinks. The bar has a good variety of beers on tap and a great cocktail menu. Must try!

Huge selection of craft beers, and we were there during happy hour, so select beers were $3 for a full pour. Decent food choices even at 10pm, though they do have a limited small plates menu at that time. Our bartender was super nice and took great care of us.

Great neighborhood, great atmosphere. Parking is a bummer around here, so be advised. Super friendly and engaging servers / bussers. Happy Hour menu is excellent - nice selection of beer, cider and cocktails. The food was well-prepared, tasty and just enough to satisfy. Will go back in Spring when the rooftop patio is open!!

Last time I was there, the fries tasted like a dead bird, if you know what I mean. Won't order food there again, but I may go in for beer on occasion. Wooky Jack is outstanding if you like hoppy beer. The atmosphere is generic sports bar, they make employees wear uniforms. Lots of TVs, music barely audible.

I've been a few times and everything I've ordered has been good. Good staff makes all the difference at a restaurant/bar. Chill and not too busy here. Not cheap, but I've thought it was worth it.

I really enjoyed my dining experience at Ale House. I sat at the bar with my co-worker and received exceptional service from Jake. The wine and beer selection was diverse. I had the pork carnitas nachos. They were amazing! The black bean and corn salsa was delicious on top and it wasa heaping portion! The best part of the meal aside from the great service was dessert. I ordered the Banana Bread Pudding. It was amazing! A hot slab of banana bread pudding served with seared bananas, whipped cream, and a large scoop of vanilla bean ice cream. The perfect blend of hot and cold while not being overly sweet. I can't wait to come back and eat here again!

Highly impressed. Knowing that I was heading to a Draft House, I think I expected the food to be mediocre. Truth is, the food was awesome. Service was a little weak, but for the most part, A great experience

Can't really speak for the food yet. But a gentleman in a Grey jacket came up and took an umbrella down and then came back and questioned why we wanted it up. I thought the idea was to keep customers happy, not complain and question them.

Excellent food and great beer selections. I love how airy and breezy their dining rooms are. The 2nd floor seating area is very nice. And my grandpa used to buy statues from the original Amatos when it was open so I like that they kept the name.

The meal we had was a 'gut bomber' of sorts, a Reuben slider and a french dip-esque sandwich. The items were pretty good, but more than that was the waiter.
He was really fun and very attentive, and I'd say he alone made the visit worthwhile.

Laid back and casual. Food was yummy...we liked the brussel sprouts, artichoke and spinach dip, fish and chips and the very unique meatloaf. Too much food! Service was decent but not great (kind of obvious that they would take your order but didn't seem to really care much). Not a great cider selection.

Pretty good food. Cool location and a fun rooftop patio. Good selection of beers as well. It s a large place with a lot of seating too. The rooftop does get full quickly in the summer and the tables don t typically turn over very quickly so it can be very hot or miss on getting a seat up there which is one of the main draws of the place.
