I brought my Kia Soul into the service center for a full day of recalls and an oil change. Turns out I needed more work done (brakes were shot, tires needed replacing). Evan Miller took the time to patiently explain everything in detail and was kind. He understood that I wanted to shop around for prices and he wasn't pushy at all. As I pulled away, I noticed the brakes were squeaking. I mentioned it to Evan and he went the extra mile to make sure my brakes were taken care of and the squeaking was fixed at no additional charge to me. Plus they lent me a car to use while repairing the brakes. I'm very impressed with the service I received!

From the time I stepped on site until the time I pulled off with my newly used 2015 Dodge 1500 Big Horn truck I had nothing but great customer service.

My dealer Mr. Whelihan approached me right away and was very friendly. He brought me inside and asked me questions of what I was looking for. He then brought up all the trucks they had that were in my price range. Once we narrowed it down to one we took it on a test drive. I loved it so then we went over a range of numbers for monthly payments.

During the waiting period they had a nice lobby with refreshments and popcorn. I must say the waiting period was long, about an hour and a half, but during that period I talked to other customers and there were people from North Dakota that drove 4 and a half hours cause they believed that Jeff Belzer's had the best pricing. I thought that was a little much but when it was time to meet the finance member I became a believer.

Mr. Whelihan then came and introduced me to the finance team member. I won't say what the exact numbers were but the monthly payments that they got for me was $100 less than my lowest expected monthly payment range number! I couldn't believe it.

It was my 6th car dealership during my search and the numbers they got for me were $150 or more less per month than the other dealerships I went to. This was my first car purchase and I loved it. If you're a first time buyer and are young with good credit with a job but not a long enough credit history visit Jeff's. They'll get you in the vehicle YOU want.

If you're older I would also recommend buying a vehicle at Jeff's because if they can get a 20 some year old guy straight out of college with good credit, not a long credit history, identity theft error on his credit report, but a 30-40k year job, they can definitely get you what you want.

Pay them a visit! You won't regret it.

We have had nothing but hassles since we bought our Kia at Jeff Belzer's Lakeville location back in June of 2019. We should have walked away when they couldn't deliver on their multiple promises about when our new vehicle would arrive on the truck. We bought a Kia Telluride and since we bought it, there has been issues with the heating. We had the vehicle in twice to have them fix it (twice in the same month, about 3 weeks total). Both times, they required us to fill up the tank in our loaner vehicle, but they left our Kia empty (35 miles until empty, and 25 miles until empty). We even took photos to show them that when we gave it to them, it was at least half full. The big reason this is a problem, is because the heat in a brand new 2020 vehicle should be working. It's of no fault of ours that it has to be in the shop, so if we have to fill up the tank in the loaner, they should not be able to give us our vehicle back empty, either. Also, both times that our car was in the shop, again for almost 3 weeks total, they couldn't bother to pick up the phone to call and let us know the status of what was going on. Then, they were unable to fix it so we got the vehicle back, unfixed. Additionally, both times that we picked the vehicle up, there were parts and tools laying in the car still. We had to go back in and inquire about them! Makes me not trust that they put the rest of the car back together, either! No apology, just "we have been so busy". I am busy at my job too, but I'm not allowed to write it off because I leave things unfinished! This place is awful; their customer service is awful! I would never recommend and pray we can get rid of this car so I can be done with them for good!

Bought a vehicle in July paid for it on the spot have yet to receive a title. Cannot register the vehicle therefore can't drive the vehicle either. Its February now and the people at this dealership keep giving me the run around. Will be filing a lawsuit. They really dont even deserve a star.

First off the salesman named Stacy sprung came out to greet my girlfriend and I at a car we were interested in. When we went inside to talk to the salesman at his desk his breath smelled of booze, it was New Year s Day so maybe he was out having a good time on New Year s Eve.

I liked the car after the test drive so started talking numbers, I tried talking him down 2 grand as a starting point and he said I was waisting his time. He would not even take the time to go ask a manager, I said how about 1500 and that s when he said they use a computer system them looks around and makes them the cheapest in the area.
Then after that we went into the finance dept and I meet a guy by the name of Matt Moore. Even worse then Stacy. I could not get out of that office fast enough. I don t have perfect credit and I told him that before he pulled my credit.
He said with a credit score of 601 he can t touch me. I got the feeling I was waisting his time by being there. It was looking at a used 23,000 dollar suv not a 70,000 thousand dollar truck.
Just some advice, go else where to by cars, even more so if you have a heart condition because your blood pressure will be so high when you leave that place.

My wife and I highly recommend Jeff Belzer's in Lakeville, MN. Our salesman was Jacob Schlee. He was fantastic to work with, from our first conversation on the phone right up to the day of delivery. He kept us up to date on the progress of everything. We did a Kia lease return and purchased a new Kia. The transaction on both sides were very smooth and seamless. First class dealership and salesman. We drove from Rochester and saved a couple thousand dollars in doing so. Plus, we used the Costco Auto program which also saved us a couple of hundred dollars.

This review is with my dealing with their service department. This is the second time this has happened to me with Jeff Belzer's. I was involved in a minor auto accident and was going to use their body shop for the repairs. I run a small business and have 3 children so my time is very valuable to me. When I set up the appointment, I SPECIFICALLY told them I needed a comparable vehicle as a loaner and confirmed this twice! Low and behold when I arrive for my scheduled appointment they DO NOT have a comparable vehicle for me. What a joke and a complete waste of time. $3,400 of repair service and revenue, and any future vehicle purchases will be going else where as I can no longer trust Belzers to fill my needs.

Was told by salesperson to come in today or tomorrow because of sales shortage for the month and I would receive a good deal. I changed my schedule and went in. The price of the truck was non negotiable and the amount I would receive for my trade was nonnegotiable. What a deal come on in to Jeff Belzers and they get a good deal at your expense.

I got a great discount on a 2019 Equinox from Belzer, the buying process was fine.
My issue with Belzer is their ridiculous Trade In Payment for a 2013 Cruze with 77K Miles. They were willing to pay only $3250, and now have it for sale for $8976. The car needed brake pads and possibly an O2 sensor, but not over $5000 worth of work that they will make in profit. I pointed out that the offer was well below the minimum for KBB trade in value, and they said then they would have to stop their deep discounts on new cars. I'm happy with the new vehicle we got, but were totally ripped off on the trade.

Prob not the best buying experience. Finance guy had a wicked cold (sneezing all over etc), prob should have stayed home that day. The truck I was buying literally had no gas. Less than 10miles to empty (on a diesel) and I had to argue to get them to put some gas in it so I could get to the station. The Sales guy said he went to bat for me . I should have drained the gas from my truck to make it even.

Typical car salesman tricks. The truck you are looking at has lots of interest and a guy coming tomorrow to look at it, and the truck I was trading was not desirable because it was a truck.

No one thanked me for the business which isn t required but a nice touch after the fact.

My first oil change I discovered the previous oil change (at belzers per the safety inspection) the drain plug was cross threaded and stripped. Ugh. Anyway. Probably won t buy there again. It s a car farm. Shuffle in shuffle out.

We worked with Trisha and Mary Jo and it was a great experience! We were anxiously waiting for a Telluride to come in, and as soon as one did, Mary Jo let us know! She happened to need to leave for the day, so we worked with Trisha! We worked with Trisha previously and she has always been great, this time was no different! She made sure that our needs were attended to and that we got in and out quickly with our new car! Definitely would recommend coming in and working with either one of these ladies.

Dropped off my car at the service shop at 8:30, was told prior by the shop that it only takes an hour to replace the airbags that were recalled. Told them I was getting picked up and the time changed to 3p.m. No big deal as my wife and I both had the day off. 2:15 comes around and I get a call from Evan letting me know that they are just about to get started and the negative terminal on the battery is corroded and they want to replace the battery for $200+tax...I tell him that I will replace the battery myself and just stick to the airbags. He replied that the corrosion was so bad that they were afraid to take off the terminal because it was very loose??? I said to cancel the service and I'll just pick up my car. Arrived, they can't get my car started... bring me to the shop and said they just jumped it and got it running. I showed them that they broke the post on the battery while removing the terminal and they told me that they didn't do anything and that's just how it was.... haha...ok.. I laugh at their ignorance... and fed up with lies I drive away. I get a half of block.. car flickers and goes dead... pop the hood and grab the terminal... half the post comes with it. Walk back and talk to a manager... he says the battery is old and they might of broke it but it's due to corrosion. Then asked if I want to buy a battery from them and they'll go put it in... I told him that you guys broke the post from yanking on the terminal (that did have some corrosion on it, but loosened off the half broken post terminal with a little spray when I got it home). and you take no blame and you think I'll ever do business with you. Called AAA and got a tow back to my house.. Special thanks to Lakeville police for staying behind me for 40 minutes while waiting on the tow.

With my new car they sold me an accessory that does not exist yet (which I was not told at the time) and getting the refund after 4 months is an absolute runaround, "we can't do anything about it, it's up to Kia Finance". Multiple phone calls, trip to the dealership, no help so far. Been told to be patient and wait another week for my refund.

Wasted 6 hours today waiting for a lease to go through. After agreeing on a down payment for the vehicle and a set monthly price and waiting a full 6 hours I was told my credit didnt go through the bank after being assured that it would have no issues. My score is in the 700s with a strong history. So after that they changed the price from 310 upto 375 a month when we had shook on a price of 310. I was lied too about a price and wasted 6 hours of my day here as I came in before 2pm and ended up leaving after 8pm after being told it was a done deal besides that fact I drove almost 4 hours one way to come buy my vehicle and then drive back with nothing but another 600 miles on my trade and gas money. My sales rep was Michael and I cant remember my finanace rep who said he couldnt believe my credit didnt get accepted and that was the only answer I got. Buyer beware as now ive Read previous reviews below with the same instance of horrible sales service practices and morals. Wouldnt recommend these guys as they're paid hourly and not off commission so they still get paid regardless of the same or not. Buyer beware folks.

I want to put a HUGE SHOUTOUT TO DAN CHAPMAN!!! I had decided to look for a vehicle due to the fact that I m going to school and new job! And was just looking around at the prices, when I had pulled into the parking lot and got out I had asked a gentleman standing outside who introduced himself (Dan Chapman), he gladly wanted to help, we had walked inside and discussed a few prices and told me to take as much time as I needed to make my decision and did not try and push me to buy anything, off I went and the next day I had came back and he had told me he took a look at the car and thought it was awesome! And took time to go over some of the features, unfortunately I had changed my decision on the car and he did not mind at all! We looked over the car fax and found clean title ! He had asked me if I wanted to go for a test drive and I happily said yes! Showed me everything on the outside of the vehicle as well as cool features! Once we got in he showed me all of the cool functions and and made sure I was comfortable with the vehicle, we began the drive and got onto the main road, he had told me to do whatever you need, to test the vehicle ( braking, accelerating, sharp turns, parking, handling), we got back and asked if I had liked it and made sure it was something I wanted before I had made any decisions and I had told him it s totally my car and can see myself in it and he smiled, we discussed prices and was Very impressed, I felt very comfortable buying a car from here and left having a happy feeling (not like buying a car somewhere and leaving feeling like you got ripped off) Not this place or Dan Chapman!! Bought one vehicle that had the paint come off of it when I washed it. Then I bought my wife a car and they kept telling me that the oil consumption was fine until it started to use 2 quarts a week and by that time we were out of warranty. The sales staff was always nice and helpful and there cars are much lower than anyone else s but if there is a problem with a car you purchase don t expect much help from them. I would buy a new car without a trade in if it was cheap enough but I won t get my car serviced there any longer.

Horrible Experience. Bait n Switch watch out! I have been watching a car for over a month. Told them to call me when they could get to a certain price. Received a call said yep we know where you want to be come on up. I have 3 kids under the age of 4. Arranged for a babysitter to come up and buy the vehicle. We live over and hour away. I had financing and insurance already done. When I get there pricing was over 1200 dollars off. Then the manager asked if there was other vehicles on the lot we would like to look at...... They also didn't want my money. Be prepared to use their financing. They said let us help you save money with our financing. This is exactly why I don't buy cars. Things you should know before going there to buy a car.
1) Make sure you have price in writing
2) Don't plan on using your own financing
3) Be prepared to buy other vehicles than the one you had intended .

My husband and I purchased a used truck in Dec 2016 and that experience wasn't the best car buying experience ever, but they did make it '"better" the next day by having us work with someone else who wasn't such an ass hat. We found out the day we drove it home (which is a 45 min drive) that the cruise control switch was starting to go, (it wouldn't always engage) we called the salesperson on the drive home and he stated that they would make it right and fix it. If we would have known this that day we wouldn't have taken it home until it was fixed. We got the truck in a few weeks later, they then tried to charge me for the fix, after raising a stink, they agreed to not charge me. The truck was a total loss in a garage fire in Jan 2018. And now we get to deal with the financing department again. It is like pulling teeth to have anyone return my calls or emails concerning the extended warranty cancellation and the follow up paperwork I need for the GAP coverage on the vehicle. I have left several voice mails with different people and sent several emails to the contact we bought the truck from and no one responds (and I KNOW they are reading my emails). As long as you are purchasing something from them they are all about you, but if you need anything in the future from them forget it. I will never consider buying a vehicle from them again. STILL waiting on someone to call or email me.

When we got there they had no record of our appointment and booked someone else to test drive the same vehicle. Then blew us off with one statement saying they don t hold vehicles . Heidi St Martin was our Sales Associate. We needed two cars to replace two expiring leases from another dealership where I had been for 9 years. The contrast between Heidi and the Rep from the other dealership was stark! Heidi listened, took in all the info and looked for two cars to meet our needs. The other dealership had no real deals going on and wanted to sell us something at a higher price with more money down than we wanted to spend.

I also thought they could have washed and cleaned up the truck before I picked it up. First images of the new truck you know. Other than that things went very well with the loaner and time wise. Are brand new car had a burnt out head light the day we brought it home and it was in there shop for 5 days for it. I live up north and bought my vehicle at a Chevy dealership in northern Minnesota. I was in lakeville visiting family and found some extra time on Saturday, so I drove around to see if someone could help me fix my clock (my new vehicle is stuck an hour ahead and won t let me reset the time). I went to a couple places and they said they didn t have time. Pulled up to Jeff Belzer s in Lakeville, not knowing that service was closed on Saturday but the garage was open and some people were inside. They greeted me warmly and explained that service was closed, but the two men that helped me asked what the issue was and offered to help. TERRIBLE SALES PEOPLE and Service! They are not commissioned based and it shows, no urgency whatsoever to sell cars. They will not negotiate on their prices either, but will tell you that your car is worth nothing. The arrogance and contempt for the common person which are their customers reigns supreme here at this dealership, so be forewarned. Do NOT waste your time with them! They may have a zillion cars/trucks for sale, but really are not interested in selling them unless you buckle to their nonsense. I was berated, insulted, and talked to like I had no knowledge of vehicles. Lastly, I walked the lot for 2 hours, not a salesperson helped out or introduced themselves, again it goes to that not being on commission deal.
As far as trade ins? Lol on their own web site they have a trade value, but don't expect them to honor it. The useless trade in manager will show you his convenient spreadsheet which he claims are "auction values from across the country", mind you the spreadsheet was produced in a matter of minutes without any headings? Expect this arrogant jerk Jeremy Anderson to low ball your trade in and insult everything about the car you cared for. Don't question his integrity or he will loudly berate you and almost threaten to fight you. I called him a "jerk" to his face and he came at me ready to fight, what a complete idiot!! This is the Jeff Belzer experience, they are typical egocentric narcissists who think they are doing YOU the favor by their existence. Don't waste your time or money! I will file a BBB claim soon and suggest others who have had this horrible experience to do the same.
EDIT UPDATE
Watch out for the useless sales manager who will call you to try and sell you the vehicle after the useless sales person and trade in manager OF WHICH HE HIRED failed miserably. Instead of making stupid commercials with Tim Laudner they should spend a little more time on teaching what Customer Service is. There is NO WAY a egocentric jerk like Jeremy should be a "manager", maybe they have too many "managers", I wouldn't hire the guy on a hotdog stand let alone a dealership.
