After not buying a new car in 25 years, I was dreading the whole buying a new car experience. All my worries immediately fell by the wayside after talking to John Meyer for five minutes. His welcoming attitude paired with his sharp sense of humor was very comforting. He regularly reminded me that there was absolutely no pressure to buy anything as he was more than happy to show me around two different lots for half of his day. It was an overall great experience and I am extremely happy with the vehicle I ended up purchasing. I will be recommending John to anyone I know that's looking for a new vehicle. I bought a car from another dealership and two days later I drove from Eagan to Farmington to pick up my daughter from school. We went to put her backpack in the trunk and my whole latch broke. It jammed to the point of no return. I was on the verge of tears as I had my 14 year old, 2 year old and 6 month old in the car with me, and it wasn t safe to make a half hour drive home with my trunk broken. I had no idea what to do. I looked at google to find what was around me and found Jeff Belzers. I figured what the heck, maybe they can help me or sell me a new latch and I can have it installed. When I walked in I was greeted by two people, a woman (I didn t catch her name), and a man named Kyle Buro. I explained my situation and Kyle immediately came outside (it was snowing pretty hard) and looked at it for me. He agreed it was completely broken, and suggested I contact the dealership to replace it for me (they did!). This man went into his own truck and got bungee cords and tied my trunk down so I could make the drive home with my kids. He was so kind, and professional. He helped a random stranger when he didn t have to. If he is a reflection on this dealership, then I highly suggest you consider purchasing a vehicle here. My husband and I are going to be upgrading his vehicle next year, and we ve decided to buy with Jeff Belzers, hopefully Kyle will still be there!

Revised my review down to a single star. Feel free to read below but the summary is that the dealer is dishonest, which, sadly, puts them into the category of many other dealers. If you want to have a car buying experience where you can trust the dealer and not have to worry about getting surprised--and not in a good way--then avoid Jeff Belzer's auto group.

Jeff Belzer's, through some clever slight of hand, was able to take delivery of the Cadillac ATS-V that I purchased via their Chevrolet store. They determined that the warranty had a "block" on powertrain, suspension, etc. job codes so they funneled the vehicle through their Dodge store so that they could claim to not be able to look into the warranty. The salesperson then proceeded to send me a Carfax report showing the warranty was still active (indeed, Cadillac's own website showed every component of the warranty to be active and, indeed even listed accurate warranty expiration dates, etc) so that a reasonable impression of an
active, valid warranty was created.

I'm dealing with GM to try to get the warranty block addressed though I'm not hopeful.

The customer service is absolutely terrible. They are extremely unprofessional and even when asking to speak to a manager directly they refused. They refused to give me any contact information to speak to anyone as well. The sales people don't even know what cars they have in the lot, we had to walk around and find it for them, then they ran out credit when the banks were closed. So they said they would call us in the morning instead we had to reach out though text which I realized now is extremely unprofessional. Didn't hear from them all day. I called and asked for our sales rep and the receptionist said they were busy selling hotdogs and couldn't talk to us, so we end up driving there to see what's going on and they ended up selling the car when originally told us it's held. They also give you the lowest possible trade in value as possible.

I bought my Challenger here two years ago. I've been very satisfied with having it serviced for oil changes and tire rotations. The service department is professional and extremely courteous. I give them five stars.
However I will not purchase another vehicle from them. Last summer my girlfriend and I went there to purchase a new Camaro for her. Belzers sales people would not let her drive one though there were multiple on the lot. When asked why, the salesperson replied he didn't know if we were serious about buying one or just wanting to take it for a ride. I asked what would make him think that and he replied, because we inquired about a four door Kia along with the Camero. There was no convincing him otherwise. They lost out on the sale of a 40k vehicle and my future business. She now drives a new Wrangler Rubicon unlimited which we purchased from a competitor.

I am very happy with the experience of buying my truck from Mike Voss at Belzer's. Whether I am happy with the Truck itself, time will tell with future performance, reliability and service level.
Mike was very prompt in his email responses and had a great follow through on my questions. He was not hesitant at all to go find answers for something he did not know first hand. He also did not push something that I showed a little interest in and was willing to search for what I WAS looking for. The Finance man, Mike Gittens also was very knowledgeable and personable to work. Overall, I will buy again from Mike and Belzer's at this point.

Please save yourself the trip to this place. I have never been treated as poorly as I was at Jeff Belzer. From the salesman who didn t know anything about their inventory, to the sales manger who didn t have the guts to come out of his office and look me in the eye and tell me he couldn t sell me a truck for the price we agreed upon. Salesman and I agreed on a price and he cleared it with the sales manager . When I showed up I filled out the paperwork, the truck was ready, and before he signed it he changed his mind. Wasted a lot of time with this place. Please go ANYWHERE else. Learn from my mistakes. Bait and switch clueless salesman and terrible management.

Went to Jeff Belzer as my lease was about to expire. Was contacted prior to lease expiring by Justin Huntsman and setup appointment as I was unsure what my options would be. Ended up leasing a new 2019 Kia Sorrento, which I had previously leased a 2016 Kia Sorrento. Love the Sorrento. If you only read the first part of this review know that I am giving them one star because my car was broken into on their lot and according to their sales rep they have been "multiple break ins" and "its an ongoing issue".

Took my car to Jeff Belzer's in Lakeville MN get fixed and while on the lot it was broken into and stripped. Jeff Belzer's sales rep said they would "take care of me" while the police were there filing a report but the next day Jeff Belzer's called and said "pick up your car and take us to court". The "smoking gun" is that I never signed their dealership agreement that, as they states removes their responsibility, nor was I offered any type of paperwork. They told me that they did not find anything on their cameras but wont let me view the video myself. Their service/sales rep told me they have had "multiple thefts on their lot" and "its not getting any better."
I have asked for their legal department multiple times but they have refused to give me any information. The last person I have been speaking with Lyle Gilson. He told me that they stand by that they do not assume any responsibility. Again I was never offered any time of paperwork nor did I sign anything saying that they are not responsible for damage done to my vehicle while on their lot. A police case file has been opened on this theft. Which is funny because they asked me not to call the police, happy I did given the outcome.

I would like Jeff Belzer's to take ownership that they did not make me sign any paperwork and file the insurance claim through their insurance. I understand that they cant control what others do but they did not give me the proper paperwork and therefore they still hold sole responsibility. I would like the car fixed and repaired/replaced for damages done while on their lot.

I feel that the owner of this location would like to know that their employees are telling customer to "take them to court" and that they have a "string of thefts" on their lot. If they know that break ins are happening and haven't don't anything to prevent this isn't this called negligence? Again I just want the dealership to make this right and not brush it off like its not their problem.

I appreciate you reading all of this. The main point is to avoid this dealership because the sales rep told me that this is an ongoing problem so you have been warned. Please don't make the same mistake I did by trusting this "family owner dealership".

First time car buyer here with little to no credit. Upgraded from a 2002 Jeep Liberty to a 2016 Ford Fiesta. Absolute best purchase of my life. I found the car on KBB. Contacted the dealer and within a day i was test driving the vehicle! Jacob Schlee was my salesperson guiding me through my first car buying experience and i could not have asked for anyone better. He was very helpful and clear about what the different phases of buying a car entail. He was VERY patient with me while figuring out financing and insurance and provided water for me when first arriving to ease the nerves. Two things I personally noted while buying my first car. 1.) Jacob asked me if i was interested in buying anything else - i said yes but i have limited time and he completely understood and respected my request and did everything he could to get me back to my hometown on time - no up-sells, no distractions, transparent and to the point! 2.) All their cars were very reasonably priced. I got the exact car i was looking for (actually one model nicer) while still sticking to my budget! If you are looking for a New or Used vehicle i would highly recommend stopping in at Jeff Belzer's Chevrolet Dodge RAM KIA and ask for Jacob!

TL:DR Great new/used car dealership. No haggle, no BS, no price gouging. Jacob Schlee is the man you need to talk to if interested in buying a new vehicle especially if you are a first time buyer! Couldn't have asked for a more pleasurable first time experience buying a new (Used) car from a dealership. 10/10 will be recommending to family and friends

I can not recommend Brandyn Lindgren enough. He was so laid back, easy to work with, and service oriented. While exciting the experience to get a new car can be a pain. Brandyn changed all of that. He also made the 40 minute drive from home worth the trip! I m confident we got a great deal and are very happy with our new Kia!! Too bad zero stars isn't possible. I went into Jeff Belzers to purchase a vehicle and was told I better act fast because another salesman had someone coming to look at the vehicle shortly after. We drove the vehicle and the air wasn't working in it, so they offered to fix it or take $1000 off. We asked them to fix it plus take $1000 off and they wouldn't accept so we left. A while later we returned to purchase the car without getting the air fixed. The salesman told us to just pay the price to get it fixed but we refused. He also kept stressing that we purchase a warranty on the car as it was being sold as-is. We decided not to do that. He had my husband drive the car again to make sure everything was working. We purchased the vehicle and not even 24 hrs later started having issues with it. We brushed it off until a few days later the vehicle wouldn't go over 15mph. I called the dealership and spoke with a manager named GARY who was absolutely no help at all. He didn't even care that I had issues and basically refused to help me. I have now figured out why the other people didn't purchase the vehicle and that is because they couldn't get it to go over 15mph so service then hooked the car up to clear the error. This is why our salesman stressed to us that we should purchase the warranty. It all makes sense and we were played well by this dealer and I am hoping no one else falls into this trap. I now have a vehicle that I just purchased that I have to stick money into because the dealer won't stand behind their cars. Pathetic if you ask me. This is more of a volume store than anything. their customer service is horrible.

I was searching for a certain wrangler for the past 8 months and found one at Belzers in Lakeville. I was fortunate enough to meet a salesman named James and after an enjoyable test drive I decided it needed to be mine. Great experience up to now until I sat down in the finance office and was basically belittled for my payment choice. At one point while doing the paperwork he told me that he wasn't making a dime off of my sale and said I'm happy more people are not like you. He almost lost the sale for James with his cocky attitude. My rating is James 5 stars - Finance - 0 stars so I'm averaging it at 3 stars for the total experience.

What a poor experience for my first trip to this dealership. I had a truck picked out and was set On buying it. When I told the salesman that I wanted to have my wife come look at it the next morning, he got upset and said did you come here to buy a truck today, or do you need permission ". He wouldn t let it go, so I walked out. If he could have been patient for 12 hours, he would have sold a new truck.

I had the BEST sales person, Rachel C. She knew exactly what I wanted before I did. She took the time to get to me and my personality. And when I showed up, she asked me to come and test drive my new car! I had no idea what to expect, but I love it! The drive went smooth and I liked everything she had on the vehicle for me. She knew my style. That IS customer service! And helping me work through the amenities in the car(special name for that, that I don't remember) was John and he was very patient with showing me and making sure I knew how to work the car before I left. I didn't feel rushed at all. Best customer service ever. I went back a couple of weeks later and they still remember my name!

Don't waste your time. This was by far the most AWFUL experience I've ever had at a dealership. I was contacted by sales rep Adam Colon because I was interested in one of their 2016 Dodge Durango's listed online for $33,700. I spoke to him on the phone and a few times through email to confirm they had that pacific Durango for that sale price. I was also told there would be a payoff on my current lease to help me get into a new lease. I then made an appointment with Adam and was contacted 3 times to verify the time and day I was coming in. I drove 45min out of my way to purchase this Durango. When I got there Adam Colon was with other customers, BECAUSE he schedule 2 appointments at the same time. I was told that by another sales rep. Which is EXTREMELY unprofessional. On top of that, I was informed they weren't gonna do a payoff on my current lease and that the Durango was $8,000 more then the listed price online. Jeff Belzer's likes to use the "Bait-and-Switch" tactics. This place is a GIMMICK!!

The van has been nothing but trouble for the year I've had it. There is no way it just started stalling the second I bought it. I will never purchase a vehicle from this dealership group again.

Purchased a new car last May 2017 at the Lakeville, Mn store. Total time spent was about 6 hours. 2 1/2 with Zach our salesman and 3 plus hours in the lounge waiting for Josh in finance to arrange financing through their lenders? (We were already pre approved through our own lender) We found out later he had added over $4000.00 in extended warranties (causing the delays in loan approvals) without asking us. My wife and I were so frustrated because of the long wait we signed the papers anyways. But the bad review happened after the courtesy call from Belzer on our purchase. We explained to Jessica how we felt our finance guy Josh had deceived us and lied to us. She offered us a 100 gift card for our long wait but would only send it out after we left a "Great Review". Kind of felt like blackmail. (never did get a gift card, obviously). Later the finance person Josh called us and accused us of trying to get a freebie from Jeff Belzer and he told us several times in an elevated voice to "get over it and move on" He also told my wife it dosen't matter if you leave a bad review. We sell over 7000 cars a month and it's not going to hurt us anyway. We later received proof that he lied when he emailed us the phony document he used saying we told him to add the warranties. The phony document was Zach's worksheet that he had scratched "extended warranty" over the car we were trading in that still had a warranty left on it. Never in my life have I ever dealt with a person so rude, dishonest and unprofessional over the phone before. Because of Josh in finance we will never buy or refer anyone to Jeff Belzer Chevrolet. I have over 12 friends and family members living in the Lakeville area and my wife has over 40 in the Faribault area. Add their friends and family and that adds up to a lot of cars over the next 72 months (end of loan) that may not be purchased at Jeff Belzer Chevrolet.

I plan to referred my family and friends to Jeff Belzer's. Not only was the price great but the didn't over promise and under deliver! THE WORST DEALERSHIP I HAVE EVER BEEN TO! I went to Belzer last Saturday to look at a Chevy Volt. They had me wait while they got a Volt "expert" to help me. It was a brand new employee who had no clue about the Volt or even their online sales prices. I left. On Tuesday, I found a used car I was interested in listed online. Unfortunately, it was at this dealership. When I arrived, they told me the car was sold, but that they had another car at the same price. It was't until almost three hours later I find out that it was not the same price, but 1000 higher. They tried to appease me by offering discounts on additional services. So, I am supposed to pay more money to save money on a car they lied about. I then received phone calls and text messages from the salesman blaming me for his non-disclosure. Do NOT shop here!

I went to Jeff belzers in lakeville mn to get service work and recalls done on my truck. I was also getting warranty work done on a broken clip on the front bumper. They called me and said my truck was done and they couldn t fix the bumper because there was a crack in the front bumper. I went to pickup my truck and see what they were talking about with the cracked bumper. I didn t see a crack in the bumper so I went and talked with the body shop guy. His name is Kobe. He pointed out my 3M clear coat and thought that was a crack. I had to tell him nope that s not a crack then he proceeded to tell me it s not covered under warranty after he had a different excuse why it wasn t covered. He suggested trying a different dealership because it was to much work to replace the clip or front bumper. Seems like This dealer wants nothing to do with the bumper to bumper warranty. I ll never go back.

The price is great. The customer service is excellent. But the pace is very slow. I have spent 2 days and total of 6 hours just to get a purchase agreement to bring to the bank. Update after 6 months. 2 recalls on the vehicle. The service hours are absolutely horrible. The dealership is really off the beaten path and they take no appointments after 1 pm??? So if you plan on getting your vehicle worked on and you hold a job. Plan on having to take a day off work to get your vehicle serviced.

I purchased a vehicle on August 31st, 2019 and i had the worst experience ever and this was my third new vehicle in 6 years.
( First time at Jeff Belzer's)
I was at the dealership for 7 1/2 hours. While cleaning my vehicle i noticed there was damage to my front bumper which was never disclosed or fixed prior to the sale. The oil was at 31% the back air vent was broke.
I have received dishonesty from several of the employees of Jeff Belzer's Chevrolet Dodge RAM KIA. This has continued from one week of our purchase and still continues today. How can this be considered a New Vehicle?

We had a wonderful experience at Jeff Belzers in Lakeville, Mn. Our dealer representative Mark Marella was very knowledgeable and walked us seamlessly through the purchase of our new truck. Although he has worked for Belzers for years in various positions, we were his first sale as a salesman. He walked us through every step of the buying process and made buying a truck easy. We were forced into buying a new truck due to a woman running a red light and totaling the truck we use to tow our camper. We purchased the 01' at Belzer and figured we would get the new one there as well. Bob Burke was patient with our unpredictable schedules and helped us find a suitable vehicle for our needs. He didn't try to up-sell us or force us in any way. The accessory folks and fiance people were easy to work with and even adjusted our interest rate after seeing other options available to us. We are happy with our experience buying the truck and I hate buying vehicles.

First off I'm 50 and this is probably the second review I have ever given online ever. I feel if you find great service, boast about it because now a days that's hard to find. I will not go into all the details, but I had a trade and I was looking for a new vehicle. Out of 3 dealerships I was at, John Binetti at Jeff Belzers made it happen. I got a fair deal on my trade and their prices were down to earth. I came away from the deal feeling that they make their profit off volume not THE sale. John Binetti THANK YOU!!! Not too many people impress me, but you sir are the real deal. I love the Chevy ZR2 and again thank you John and Jeff Belzer.

Very friendly service that may leave you feeling a bit cheated.

I found a vehicle I've been looking for on their lot and decided to purchase it. Before trading in my current vehicle, I had it appraised by CarMax to ensure I was getting the best value. A customer service representative from Belzer's told me to bring the appraisal with me as they price-match/guarantee to match or beat any other appraisal. The day I arrived to make the purchase the salesman told me they did not price match (one of the two statements must be a lie) and they would appraise my vehicle, which they did at 500 dollars less than CarMax. I was then informed of the current deal in which they were giving a 1000 dollar bonus on trade-ins like mine, and that the way they taxed the purchase of the new car would offset the difference in value, making it a better deal to trade in through them. I agreed and informed them of the pre-approved financing I had to purchase the vehicle. After a nearly 2 hour wait i was finally with an agent to sign the paperwork. They arranged for financing through a different institution at a higher rate from the one I was pre-approved with, USAA. The sales agent said they could not do the deal with USAA because they were not an approved lender. I knew I would be able to refinance my loan through USAA and went ahead with paperwork. After reviewing the paperwork the next day I realized they did not apply the 1000 dollar trade in bonus. I contacted the finance agent who then lied and stated it was deducted from the sale price of the vehicle. After proving that to be untrue I was then transferred to the salesman who said the bonus was applied to the value on the trade-in, which is another lie. When looking through their website for contact information I see they offer additional discounts for those who finance through USAA, making the statement of not being able to finance though them another lie.

Ultimately I got the car I wanted at the rate I wanted which i why I gave 2 stars.
