He admitted his inexperience, but I appreciate honesty rather than trying to fake it. We really appreciated Paul s style with closing the sale. He was very direct but got us what we needed. We purchased our 3rd vehicle from them. We previously had a good experience with them, so when it was time to upgrade my truck, we went back to belzer.

On the first trip in, they told me and my wife that they would give me $8000 on my trade, but I wasn't ready to sign, I wanted to check on better finance options. We were close, but wanted a few bucks less in payment. I went back 2 days later and was ready to close the deal, at the closing table, suddenly my payment jumped and it was because they only gave me $7000 for my truck. I almost walked away, but I really liked the truck I was buying. Their upper management had almost a bullish approach about the difference in trade value.

Within the drive home, the engine light came on. I brought it back and they dismissed it as being ice buildup in the diesel exhaust fluid tank.

A week later I started getting a misfire, but it wasn't throwing an engine code. I brought it back to them, they had it for 2 weeks while I was out of town and couldn't find anything. As they said, without a code, we don't know what to look for. I filed a complaint with the FCA, they allowed me to take it to another dealership to analyze. The other dealer listened to me and looked it over thoroughly and found bad injectors, mass airflow sensor and a fuel filter (just to be sure) and the misfire was gone.

Then 3 days later, the radiator split at the seam. Again it was back in the shop. Luckily everything but the fuel filter was covered by warranty except I still had to pay over $400.

This was a certified used vehicle. I will go elsewhere next time I need a vehicle.

I have been shopping for a new vehicle for my wife for quite some time now. She is a fan of the 2014 or newer Dodge Durango.

I saw one that met our criteria advertised on Belzer's website for $31,828. Seemed like a good deal for that vehicle. I emailed to confirm details of the vehicle and basically state that I'd like to purchase the vehicle immediately. The response I got was remarkably disappointing. The online advertised apparently includes every possible rebate ever available, and the reality is that NO ONE, including myself, would ever qualify for it in entirety. Therfore the price would be several thousand dollars higher for me. This is a classic "bait and switch" marketing tactic and I find it appauling that a company is willing to be so disingenuous and under-handed.

I feel compelled to tell anyone I meet shopping for a new vehicle to steer clear of Belzer or any other dealership using those tactics. If you can't even buy the vehicle you like at the advertised price, then what other untrustworthy practices might they use?

My experience was sub-par at this location. Initially I started off with a really enthusiastic and friendly saleswoman who made a preliminary appointment to test drive this vehicle the next day. However, when we came back she was at a different location. Also after deciding to purchase the vehicle and having the staff detail it, they did a really poor vacuuming job, did not wipe down the console, and the cup holders were sticky. Besides all that, I was happy with the car I ended up with (even if I have to clean if myself).

It's not easy to spend + $50,000 for a vehicle. A lot of worries about making the right decision. Is it the right truck? Am I biting off more than I can afford? Am I getting a good deal?

Eric Spiess sure took all that stress away for me and my wife. His calm demeanor put us at ease. He took an enormous amount of time answering all our questions. Going over inventory. And finding a truck with all the features I wanted at a price I could afford.

The truck is awesome. Every time I get into it it is a pleasurable ride.

I performed research on price, availablity, and called several dealerships with questions regarding specific vehicles. I received call backs from people who couldn t answer the questions and just wanted to set appointments. I found that Blair at Jeff Belzer s contacted me and answered my questions regarding a possible trade in. When it came time for the purchase he had the truck detailed and Kara in finance was efficient so my time wasn t sitting around. Very pleasant experience which isn t usually the case when purchasing a vehicle.

I used the chat feature on Belzer's website and asked if the 2018 Dodge Durango shown online was still available, being the color and options I was looking for (7-passenger seating, full leather, premium & towing packages). After being told it was, I let them know that I was driving over 50 miles to look at it and that I would be arriving at a little before or after noon. I had my trade (extremely clean original owner 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee with lower miles), title, paperwork/history and checkbook with me. I arrived a little after noon and I guess everybody was at lunch or not to be bothered. I found the Durango parked right outside the showroom and spent 45 minutes looking it over. During this time, not a single salesperson approached me even after inquiring inside, and being told that everybody was very busy (on a Wednesday). At a little after 1 pm, I left. I would never give my business to a dealer that cannot be bothered with a buying customer. What an absolute waste of my time. I had been warned by many about Belzer's extremely poor customer skills - caveat emptor. You lost a paying customer.

Great place to do buisness. Had a lot of vehicles to choose from so I could get exactly what I wanted. It's nice to not have to deal with haggling over a price, you just get a price, best I saw in Minnesota. Then just get your trade value and it's over. I hate car shopping, but it went pretty fast paced. They also have all the accessories you need right there. I took my truck back a week later. They gave me a brand new truck to drive home, even though I had to drive an hour home. 2 days later I went and picked and it looked great. My salesman was helpful over emai while I was just looking, made an appointment when I wanted, and made sure I saw all the trucks I wanted the day I showed up.

I was extremely disappointed by the service department during my last visit to Jeff Belzer s in Lakeville. I brought my 2016 Kia Sorento in for service on Friday, January 25th, 2019. It was -7 degrees Fahrenheit that morning and who knows how cold it truly was after factoring in the windchill. After driving into their service bay for an 8:00am appointment I was initially greeted by a very nice service rep. This young man was courteous and professional. My Kia had 6 recalls that needed to be addressed during the appointment. Each recall was estimated to take an hour, so I was scheduled to get a loaner vehicle for the day. I work at a hospital in Minneapolis so I needed to leave the dealership no later than 8:30am to arrive on time for work. After the young man checked me in I was pushed over to a service rep named Ashley that put me into a loaner car. After filling out the required paperwork she showed me to a 2019 Chevy Malibu and I was on my way to work. Keep in mind the weather was -7 degrees. I was almost out of Lakeville before noticing the gas tank was at less than a 1/8. Seriously less than 1/8! Who puts a customer in a car on a freezing cold day with less than an 1/8 of a tank of gas? This dealership does! The car was nearly on empty! It s just plain dangerous to drive a vehicle nearly on empty in the winter. Especially when it s 7 BELOW ZERO! I was so mad. I didn t have time to stop for gas. I would ve been late for work. I called the dealership to speak to Ashley but only got her voicemail. I left her a message to call me back. I didn t want to be held responsible if the gas line froze. I felt she needed to be told it wasn t okay to put a customer in a car with an 1/8 of a tank of gas in the winter. Why isn t common sense common? Ashley didn t call me back. Later that morning I called the dealership back to speak with the manager of the service department. I got his voicemail too. I left him a message and explained what happened. I didn t get a phone call back from him either! Very unprofessional service manager. Not returning a customers phone call is rude and his lack of attention needs to be addressed. Making time for a angry customer who was treated poorly by being given a car with very little gas on a freezing cold day in January should have been a priority. I actually lease my Kia from Jeff Belzer s and will be turning it in in less than 4 months. I was planning on leasing another vehicle from Jeff Belzer s, but not now. I ll be taking my business elsewhere. I ll go back into this dealership for one more oil change on the Kia, but will not be returning for anything else.

He answered all my questions and concerns with no pressure, while being very patient with my decision-making process. I appreciated the buying experience without being 'sold'. UPDATE: While the sales staff was over and above to help us, the receptionist dropped the ball. Having called 3 times in the days leading up to my temporary plates expiring, I was told my plates were not in. I was told that it wasn't a big deal and I wouldn't get pulled over. I also contacted my salesperson who was also told by the receptionist that the plates had not yet arrived. When I called the day AFTER my temporary plates expired, the receptionist informed me that they called me nearly a week prior (they called the wrong number). As she is the only one who deals with new plates at the dealership, I was even less impressed to know that she had disregarded me when I called each time, not bothering to look if they were actually in, and then blew it off when I arrived to pick up the plates telling me she had no idea what had happened.

Having recently moved to Minnesota, I was in need of updating my registration. I'd considered trading in my car in the spring, but decided it made more sense to look for a new vehicle now rather than pay registration fees for my current car and again for the new car in the spring. Mike was a great help. We found the vehicle we were interested in online and Mike was able to answer all our questions and give us information for that specific car. We brought my trade in a few days later. Everything was done quickly and everyone was very helpful. I would definitely recommend not only Jeff Belzer's Lakeville, but encourage anyone looking for a vehicle to talk to Mike Golik. They do a fantastic job!

Before being contacted by Adam Colon at Belzer's' I'd spent many hours online searching for the vehicle we wanted and not finding it at any dealership within 100 miles of my home. I received an car buying email from AARP so I filled in the information and sent it off. Adam Colon, Sales Professional from Jeff Belzer's, called promptly and gave me information on a couple of in-stock Chevy Silverados, one of which was just what we were looking for -- right color, model, features and options. Adam checked all offers and rebates we qualified for and gave us a firm price, which was very close to what we could buy locally but without all the factory-installed luxury features. Adam held the vehicle while we made the 2 hour drive to the dealership later that afternoon. We were impressed by Adam's knowledge of the vehicles, his professionalism and care that we had found the right vehicle at a great price. All of the Belzer's staff treated us with outstanding service thru purchase, trade-in, financing and equipment options and got us on the road in our new truck that evening. We were very happy that the entire crew made this a "one stop" deal, since we were out-of-towners. It was truly a painless experience, thanks to the staff and facility at Jeff Belzer's. Purchase used vehicle for lakeville Jeff Belzer recently. Truck had not been cleaned. Took over a month to get an appointment for detailing. Dropped the truck off and was told it would take 4 to 5 hours. They did not have a loaner vehicle on site. This is one example of the piss poor customer service you will receive from Belzers. Definitely will not be returning here again.

I had the most amazing and rewarding experience yesterday. I worked with Barry Larson Jr (Jeff Belzer's in Lakeville) and he made my car buying experience so stress free. He was patient with me as I explained how adamant I was on only buying a white car (grin - yes, I'm a woman). We drove a few vehicles, no rush whatsoever. And when I made a decision, he walked me thru the pros and cons. Once the decision was made, you know there's that time spent wrapping up the paper work - Barry continued to be attentive (not hovering but respectful) and didn't just abandon me but make sure my paperwork was going thru the cycle. I'd recommend Jeff Belzer's (+Barry) to anyone considering purchasing a vehicle and I plan to be a repeat customer.

Be cautious, as I wish I had. And I wish I could leave zero starts, but it won't allow. I leased my Dodge Challenger from Jeff Belzer's and have only had any service appointments and oil changes done at the dealership. To me it makes sense for service and overall longevity for the car to just go through where I purchased it. After my last oil change on 7/5/19, upon driving 2 miles from the dealership my car started smoking like crazy from the engine. I pulled over and popping the hood there was oil sprayed all over the engine, no oil in the car when checking the oil level, and left me stranded with an un-driveable car. Upon calling the service department, they sent me to Dodge roadside assistance to have the car towed back to the dealership. The service department wouldn't help me and told me to just "get back to the dealership when you can". TWO AND A HALF HOUR LATER, my tow truck arrived to bring me back to the dealership. Arriving back at the dealership not once did anyone apologize to me for this issue, there is ZERO ownership or accountability by the service manager. I told them that I would not pay for my oil change, wanted a wash and detail of the car, and wanted my car inspected to ensure that there is no void of the warranty due to the issues caused BY JEFF BELZER'S. The response was, well there are no manager's here so we will have to call you Monday to see if we can do that. That is an absolutely terrible and unacceptable answer. In no way am I paying for an oil change that ultimately took 6 hours out of my day, and the asks that I had are basic and should be an easy "YES" from the dealership, yet they can't. I do not know the damage that was caused to my vehicle due to the service department's negligence, and now am completely suspect of how bad my less than 1 year old car is damaged now, all due to Jeff Belzer's. Jeff Belzer's service department needs to own the issues that they caused, and make it right for the customer. Again, not once has a single individual apologized to me for their mistake, and now I am currently in a loaner vehicle with no timetable when my vehicle will be verified OK or for them to get me in to a new vehicle, which is 100% what should happen. My lease of my Nissan Rogue is up at the end of the year, and initially was planning to lease another vehicle from Belzer's, but not after this experience if they can't make this simple situation right. BE CAUTIOUS IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT DOING BUSINESS HERE!

Best dealer experience to date. If you find yourself working with Jeff Belzer's, request Paul Johnson. He is transparent and treats the decision as seriously as you do. He understands a car is a big decision. I requested multiple test drives and he even drove it while I was not with him to make sure there was nothing off with the vehicle. Also, the people here are not paid on commission by sale price of the vehicle, they are paid on volume, so there is no up-selling, which makes every interaction a bit more authentic. Very happy with my experience.

The worst customer service possible for vehicle service.
Rude service representatives are also unhelpful. I had an appointment for service and when I got there I was told it got entered to the wrong day so if I would like to get squeezed in I'd have to "wait a while." Wait a while? Isn't that what appointments are for?
Nope. The unhelpful, rude service representative had no other solution and let me leave with no service.

Our sales person (Jacob Schlee) was awesome to work with. We inquired about a car via Costco, and Jacob responded within minutes of my inquiry. He was extremely professional, and we never felt pressured to buy a specific vehicle. We were still evaluating between a few different options (Ford or Chevy) and Jacob brought us to the Jeff Belzer Ford dealer so we could look at those options as well. He took time with us, answered every question, and helped us find the perfect vehicle for us. Once we narrowed it down to the Traverse, and specific options, he even offered the show room floor model. We ended up purchasing that one, and absolutely love it. Everyone at the dealership was friendly and helpful, and I would buy another vehicle from them in a heartbeat. They were even able to beat Costco's pricing, so all in all, a very positive experience for us!
