We did our first rafting trip on the lower New River. Everyone in our party of 6 had a blast! Our guide, Giovanni, was awesome. This place is a hidden gem. I can t wait to go again.

Awesome white-water rafting excursion. Spent about 5 hours on the water.

We've been going to ACE and camping out for MMF for every year since it's start. This was our first year with a cabin, and I was not impressed. The blinds for 1 window and the door were missing before we even arrived. The floor was not swept either. The worst was the lack of water pressure during Saturday. The festival as always was a blast, but it always seems like ACE is just overwhelmed by the amount of people each year.

We recently stayed here and the adventures are great although way overpriced. The cabins were dirty. We had family in three cabins and they were all gross. The towels for bathing were worse than my rag towels to clean my car at home. They were stiff and had bleach spots and fading all over. The place is way overpriced for what they offer. It is beautiful and could have things like the towels and overpricing and then I would consider staying again.

We had a great day at the lake. The zip line into the water was a blast! I highly recommend this adventure in the hills of WV.

I hosted a family fun day for my company here. They were easy to work with and very accommodating. They staff were super friendly and the water park is amazing. So many activities! My people all had a wonderful time!

Stayed at a cabin for a Bachelor party. Cabin was nice but the highlight of the trip was the white water rafting. The New River took us for a ride we won't soon forget.

This was the best family vacation we have ever taken. The resort was perfect! Our cabin was exactly what we wanted and was very clean. We were there for an adventure, and boy did we get it. Our boys shared the waterpark with only a couple dozen other kids because everyone had already gone back to school. Our zip lining guides, Anna and Lou (aka Reggie) made our zip lining excursion lots of fun. Craig was the perfect guide for us on our white-water rafting trip. Their expertise and personalities were the perfect mix of safety and fun.
And Amanda brought it all together for us. Thank you all for a great family vacation.

A new experience for my wife and I, but the guide was very thorough and told us what we needed to know about white water rafting. We had a great time, and will certainly go again.

The water park looked cool, but it was too early in the season. The bar is a bit of a local hangout, but far too loud despite the smaller crowd

Came here twice now for whitewater rafting on the Gauley River, loved every second of it. The campground is huge, yet still well kept. The people are all very friendly and helpful. Our river guide Yogi (Michael Gilvin) is one of the coolest dudes I ever met. He, along with the intense af class 5 rapids, made this trip truly unforgettable.

A group of us spent the weekend rafting at ACE and let me tell you we had an amazing experience as always. Friday we were on a raft with a great guide named Bode. It rained almost all day but we couldn't have asked for a better experience.
Saturday our trip took us on Duckies to the lower Gauley. Susan and the boys were so much fun! We had thrills and spills and some great video from John to show for it. I would recommend ACE for anyone who wants the whole package of rafting and the best guides on the river. Our evenings were spent at the Lost Paddle Bar where they had great entertainment, Clinton was amazing!
We can't wait to come back!

Me and a group of guys went here to go rafting and we absolutely loved it. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The rafting experience was topnotch...our guide Andrew C. was awesome and took us through some spots in the rapids that made it more exciting than just going through like the other guides did. This place is awesome...would drive six hours again anytime to go here!

Went here with a group called Explorer Chicks and had a BLAST!! Rock climbing and rafting were amazing! I want to come back for Gulley season. I wish the lake stuff was open for one hour with adults only or something. It's really fun but it's annoying that you have to cater to little kids. "I wanna go next!" or they hog one inflatable for a long time. Also some inflatables you have to wait until there aren't any littles on them so you and your friends can have fun.

Came for the white water rafting and it did not disappoint. It was our first time and it was truly an incredible experience. Brad was our guide and he was phenomenal. Everyone was super friendly, the rapids were stunning and it was just so much fun!! Absolutely will be back in the future to take on the Gauley. Couldn t recommend enough. White water rafting is the best!!!

We stayed 2 nights to go white water rafting with Ace and it was amazing! Our guide, Randy was experienced, friendly and helpful. We had a blast. Our campsite was a little subpar as we stayed in one of the cabin tents and the tent had several holes in it but other than that all staff was friendly and helpful.

The park was very nice and the staff did a good job. Our group had a very good time doing the tram building and high ropes course.

White water rafting with Brodie is amazing! We had a blast!

The river trip (upper new) was awesome. The guide was absolutely fantastic. We had a blast The cabins were nice inside although the water heater in one of the cabins didn't work. Food at the on-site restaurant was terrible.

Great. Had lots of fun at their huge water park. They have lots of things to play on as well as tons of campsite. They definitely have trees to hang up hammocks as well.

Food and atmosphere was very good. Nestled in the woods and surrounded by the beautiful West Viriginia mountains. So much to do and see at Ace. Canins to rent, outdoor water adventure during the summer

Just got back from the best anniversary trip ever. The park itself was in excellent condition with tons of amenities. The Cozy Park cabin was perfect for a couple. All of the staff at the resort were extremely friendly and helpful and we had the best White Water guides and Zip Line guides ever. Thank you Susan, Kip, Jeff, Sierra, Jenna, and Amos!!!!! We will be back in the fall for Gauley Season.

Had a fantastic time with a group a friend's rafting the gulley river over the summer. Guides are super friendly.

My body it aches from getting shot with paintballs but man was it fun.

Such a great place for bigger kids to have a great time. Only a few hours can really wear them out!

Laid back and very chill environment! The staff are wonderful and so many hiking trails and countless other stuff to enjoy!!

Spent a girl's weekend at Ace and did a 5k on the property. The staff was super friendly and we had a terrific time.

The food is good, despite the fact that it didn't come the way I ordered it.

The service was very slow, and once the server gave you your food, she forgot about you.

I haven't had such poor customer service in a very long time.

If you plan on a day of swimming, bring your food and drinks in a cooler.

Awesome experience. Great place for singles couples or families. So much to do in one place. Bryce is the best river guide there.....he will make sure you have an excellent adventure

The white water rafting experience is something you can't miss!

Our instructor was fantastic. She was your friend when we were safe and drill Sargent when things got rapid. The lunch at our break was also excellent. I have been other white rafting place such as the Ohio pile but this place was much better. We did the lower new river , so mostly level 3 rapids with sprinkles of others mixed in. We even got to swim some of the rapids! We did 13 miles in the river had a great time, already planning to go back and do the new upper river.

We went here for the best weekend getaway and it is the absolute best.

I have always been an Ace customer. Great trips, great guides but their customer service really failed this time and they have lost at least two long time customers this weekend. I had a rafting trip planned with a group but I had to cancel due to a last minute family emergency. Their no cancellations policy is iron clad even if you have a death in the family. After speaking with a supervisor the only thing they said they could do is provide a free voucher for another trip. The "free" voucher costs another $25 and I was supposed to produce a doctor's note. So I'm supposed to go to my cousin who is in the process of taking her child off life support and ask for a doctor's note so I can get a "voucher" for next time???? No thank you. There will be no next time for myself or my boyfriend and I imagine that the others on the trip will think twice before booking with Ace again.

We had an awesome time on the upper gauley. The guides were awesome!

Great place! Spent a long weekend here. The tent camping facilities where we'll taken care of. The water park is a lot of fun! The rafting guides make the trip very enjoyable and will give you the whatever type of trip you ask for.

ACE has become my second home in the matter of the last 4 months! I have had such amazing experiences and I want to write about this last weekend. It was my first time on the gauley and I was nervous about it. We had Starky as our guide and he was phenomenal! He made us feel safe. His commands/instructions were so clear! He checked up on everyone in the raft throughout the trip. We did a double upper the first day. We got back and at the last minute requested him for the second day and ACE accomadated us! A huge thank you to Lydia in the welcome center for everything! Such amazing staff at ACE. I can't thank everyone enough for the excellent service and for letting us come rafting with you! I look forward to the rest of the season!

Fun water resort for kids and adults both. Many fun things to do from trampolines in the water to a zip line into the water. Don't recommend swimming with any jewelry, as I lost my watch in the water

One of the best weekend trips ever. College reunion with friends from Philadelphia.

The cabin wasn't quite as nice as it looked online, but overall we had a great time. Getting checked in was a little confusing and more/better signage could be used. The Upper Gauley was moving too fast on our day, due to some flash flooding earlier in the week, so we rode the Lower instead, which was pretty disappointing, but you can't control nature. Our guide was great, the bus ride was scary (but safe), and everyone we dealt with was very friendly and polite.

So much to do here, you could easily spend a week.
Went for a white water rafting trip on the New River, this was the fourth time. It was an absolute blast as always. The guides are very friendly and personable, and know their way around the river like the back of their hand.
The resort itself also offers so much more, worth taking a trip for the day, the weekend, it even a week.

We will be back for sure!!! Great place for children and adults.

We love Ace Lake, it's great fun for myself, wife and two boys (9 & 7). Be prepared as fun as it is, it is exhausting.

Clean and new, Nice. Sunday night they did not offer tent cabin rental I found driving past check in.

Chicken head is the best guide ever lol. Found out what surfing was. Was pretty neat had a great time.

Good campsites. Nice people. But really in the cut with small roads coming in really not suitable for large camper trailers.

This is a hidden gem of a waterpark. A throwback to what water parks used to be: sand bottom, lots of water toys, rides and slides, without all the over-the-top killjoy security folks. And actual wood fired pizza made on site, so the food is a notch above what you'd normally expect, wrapped in an overall affordable package.

Fun place with plenty of things to do. We tent camped which put us way up on the mountain. A short drive from the resort. This can be a good or bad thing? Service at the bar sucked. Don't count on getting table service..
It is a drive to get to the gorge bridge or Summerville lake.. which is beautiful. Think we will camp there next time.

I just went to ACE adventure Resort for the Halloween events they had, but I must say it was super fun and I have d blast.

Fantastic staff, fantastic whitewater, fantastic experience

Went rafting for the first time. The guides are top notch, down to earth, and downright funny. It's an awesome time for anyone who wants to get on the river.

Extreme Fun. Adult beverages available and a great time for kids/adults. A bit pricey and in my opinion the beach pass should be included in the entrance fee. Half day passes are a nice option! Great fun, clean, and modern.

Service is wonderful. Staff is friendly and concerned with your safety and your happiness. Will be back.

I love this place it's great for birthday partys or just having fun it's not expensive and they have a lot of little things like an arcade and thoes bean bag toss games.

Best resort I've ever been to, lo prices, and a ton of activities

My husband and I came for a 1/2 day Zipline tour and an overnight stay. The Zipline was awesome. Grant and Adam were our guides. They were awesome! We had a great group of folks with us ranging from mid 20 - 60yrs old. We stayed in a single tent (provided by them) which appeared to be newer and nicer than some others we have seen around us. They have raised platforms with a 1-2 in vinyl pads, inside the tent. The tent is also raised off the ground and covered. Nice set up. Only real negatives we're the shower/bathrooms and some questionable customer service from a few at check in.

Excellent time for Bridge Day 2018. I've rated with ACE several times now and the guides and facilities are great. The Lost Paddle bar is nice as well!

The water park was fun. Better crowd for up to age 16 probably. Definitely would not do anymore than the half day pass seeing as we were over it after 2 hours.

If you and your family wants to have fun!! This is the right place.. this is my second time here and I'm definitely coming back next year. My kids had a blast, is fun, safe and the staff is very nice.

Great place tons to do nice people working there must go for just about any outdoor adventure.

Very fun place. I little messy due to renovation. The little restaurant was reasonably priced and the pizza was good.

Fun place. Only issues is the food price is high and some of the inflatables are getting pretty worn out and the hand grips are missing making hard to get up on stuff.

Wife liked it. I thought it was a long float down a river. Guy died in a kayak though. 45 minutes of chest compressionsfrom a tour guide while going down a river. Apparently it can be very dangerous with minimal excitement. 5 stars for the guides, 2 stars for the fun.

We had an AMAZING weekend at Ace! Our guides, Alex and Jimbo were top notch. They showed us a good time on the river, were very informative and kept us alive ;)
We will definitely be coming back for more action next year. The facilities were clean and accommodating, the buffet was delicious and the staff were friendly. Thank you all for a great time!
