I have always been an Ace customer. Great trips, great guides but their customer service really failed this time and they have lost at least two long time customers this weekend. I had a rafting trip planned with a group but I had to cancel due to a last minute family emergency. Their no cancellations policy is iron clad even if you have a death in the family. After speaking with a supervisor the only thing they said they could do is provide a free voucher for another trip. The "free" voucher costs another $25 and I was supposed to produce a doctor's note. So I'm supposed to go to my cousin who is in the process of taking her child off life support and ask for a doctor's note so I can get a "voucher" for next time???? No thank you. There will be no next time for myself or my boyfriend and I imagine that the others on the trip will think twice before booking with Ace again.
