Great location on the water with private beach area. Attentive service. Pages and reception top. Expensive but very good breakfast. Cozy rooms, very good beds. Furniture a bit worn.

I was in this hotel many times especially with my relatives. The breakfast was not the worst but it was not fantastic. Nobody helped us with suitcases or bags. Small pool. A small selection of cosmetics (for example, a face massage). Great location.

Despite the fact that the beginnings of the stay turned out to be a disagreement due to the lack of a room for which the reservation was made, the manager exceeded our expectations by offering a room of a higher standard than the reservation despite 100% occupancy of the facility.

Very nice classic Art Nouveau - Grandhotel. Great service. Fitness room is very small and could handle an upgrade.

Wonderful place, beds very comfortable. employees smiling, helpful. room clean, well-equipped. deficiencies in the current replenished. On the occasion of my birthday in the room a surprise (cake, balloons, wishes) who would have thought ... In addition, the dog is welcome and for him also a surprise. The letter was fun written, it was nice to have a laugh, bowls of water, mat and even took care of the ball. There is a park near the hotel and you could use it. My wife and I were happy, and even our friend felt grand hospitality. we recommend

Unfortunately it was disappointing; I prefer to stay in Sofitel hotels all over the world. I was there a few years back at the Sheraton around the corner. From the beginning: they wanted to offer us a supposed "upgrade", which turned out to be a sham: this is not how you treat guests! Obviously a wedding party was there and they tried desperately to please them at the expense of the other guests. Unfortunately, some no goes in the service: the hammam didn't work and when I was told that a sauna hammam is, then Boris Johnson is the US President. For the first time in a 5 star hotel, despite being asked to do so, I had to transport and pack my luggage by myself (has never happened to me in a 5 star hotel!). The list of service deficiencies goes on, but it gets boring. The interior and the furnishings of the rooms do not correspond to a 5 star hotel. Here you wallow in the house built in 1927 (Monaco of the North and the old, but now faded tradition). All in all: a huge task for the hotel to live up to its reputation. I will definitely not come back.

I was expecting good service, but the reality turned out to be even better. WHOLE Staff worthy of praise, or rather praise. Courtesy, instant fulfillment of all wishes. A smile at every step. Delicious dishes (ingredients from the highest shelf), made at the highest level, without unnecessary frills, and any deviations from the menu are immediately taken into account. Cleanliness at every step - Covid has no chance here. I have never written such a good opinion, because nowhere was it so nice for me. I do not belong to the Croesuses, but I do not regret a single zloty spent. I am already starting to collect for the next, several-day stay. Thank you for the delicious moments. I recommend!

Hello, I have never been to this wonderful hotel but judging by the opinions of others I would like to go here someday I haven't been here yet but I will give opinions that this hotel deserves 10,000 stars

A climatic place. We spent the weekend with the wife of September and I can recommend;) Someone previously commented on the prices and, of course, they are not low, but I think it's worth it. recommend

The swimming pool and SPA area allows you to relax and take your thoughts away from everyday matters. I highly recommend !

Visited for business. Everything you can expect from Sofitel: amazing service, spacy room, perfect location, comfy beds and pet friendly :)

I booked the Luxury Room with Park View and 1 double bed. It was located in the West Wing, far away from the lifts and was very quiet despite facing the street. Taking into account all of the factors I can strongly recommend this booking. However, the noticable wear and tear of the room should be fixed. There were stains on the (cracked) bathroom walls and some of the modern furniture had varnish that peeled off. Given the price and brand expectations, I'd expect not to see such low maintenence, hence only 4 stars overall.

To sum up, it's a great place to stay with everything that Sofitel stands for, and I hope that the room wear & tear will be fixed. For now I'd say the other Sofitels in Poland set a better example, but it is still a solid choice for a weekend trip.

In the heart of charming Sopot, right on the Baltic Sea, right next to the beach, the five-star Sofitel Grand Sopot has been standing for over 90 years. The luxurious Grand captivates with its inspiring historic interiors combined with French elegance. The stunning view of the sea, private beach, beautiful garden and the vicinity of the longest wooden pier in Europe perfectly reflect the unique atmosphere of a seaside resort.

We stayed with my wife at the Grand Hotel for 3 nights at the end of November. There could be a few reservations about the standard of the rooms. We had a corner with two balconies on the 2nd floor with a beautiful view of the sea and the pier. For 5 stars .... I've stayed in better rooms with a better level. But !!!! What distinguishes the Grand Hotel is its crew and service. Starting from the porter's luggage, concierge service bar and restaurant, ladies cleansing rooms. Everyone is an absolute TOP in Poland, and the world does not stand out from the best. I have been to dozens of 5 * hotels in the world and I can recommend to everyone, even the most demanding ones, with a clear conscience. Hold this level !!!! Thank you for unforgettable three days at the Grand Hotel in Sopot;)

If it is justified, I think it is necessary to include a critical assessment in a given detail. Here, however, such a thought does not come to mind. Equipment, sound system, cleanliness, polite and helpful service, because I will not speak about the location. With a view such as from where food tastes different ...

Very good hotel of high standard but expensive. Alcohol on par with Norwegian prices.

We were only in the restaurant, so I do not know how to hotel a bed. The service makes you feel great, everyone is nice and smiling. On the wall in one of the rooms you can find pictures of famous guests, it makes an impression. Food for five, beautifully served, delicious flavors and helpful waiter. Prices are not available and the view of the sea and the pier only adds to the spirit. My wild boar prosciutto spread me on the shoulders. I recommend the hotel as attractions and restaurants for culinary experiences

A hotel with history and class, food great and service most helpful. Of course, the prices for this brand are not the lowest. However, the quality that is offered is at least directly proportional to the price of the room. The windows and terraces overlook the sea and the pier. Location next to Monciak.

A truly impressive building, a grand hotel as you would imagine and it may be like. Extremely friendly service and first-class service. Stylish decor. Very spacious, luxurious rooms.

The hotel met our expectations, but we were disturbed by the creaking bathroom door, broken shower handset, and breakable safe. At breakfast, the lady cleaned our plates, while we didn't even start eating, we got up from the table, only put the pancakes on the children, we come back and empty ... Unfortunately, she couldn't apologize, which is a pity ...

Hospitable are generally like in any hotel. The service welcomes you bonjour which is just plain preposterous. As for me, the price is too high for this quality of service. A bit of form over the content.

Really nice hotel! Our room was very spacious and provided all the comforts, from slippers and rope to TV and radio. We did not have sea facing view unfortunately. Staff were very friendly. Our only complaint was about the serving speed of waitresses at the restaurant. Nevertheless, all members of the staff were helpful and professional. Conference room service met our expectations as well.

The class itself, we will come back here one day. I recommend the spa zone. Monciak, beach and pier at your fingertips.

Ever since it took over, the sofitel has bottomed out. You can find several dozen better places for such a lot.

Very good hotel, clean rooms and professional service. I recommend especially in seasons unusual for the sea - late autumn, winter and early spring. The prices are then much lower, and the Grand Hotel is worth visiting at least once for its climate.

Until now, the best hotel I have slept in in Poland, despite the fact that I slept in a few 5 * in my life - at least a year ago in Sheraton located next to it (which, however, has no start for Grand). The service More

I have the impression that from year to year this hotel has ever worse standards.

My wife and I absolutely loved the hotel and its staff. All the persons we dealt with were very friendly and helpful.
The pool, Hammam and sauna were great. We can't wait to return!

Nice hotel with classic grandeur, including a wide driveway, red carpet and bellboys. Fully equipped. Spacious swimming pool on the ground floor. Breakfast great, the best 'eggs benedict' eaten. Huge choice. Room with spacious bathroom, comfortable beds and beautiful high ceiling with ornaments. We come here again in January for the concert of Andrea Bocelli. I am confident that our stay will be enjoyable again.

Great location, grand hotel flair, great breakfast and very nice staff

I've stayed two nights at Sofitel Grand Sopot with breakfast. In a superior double room with balcony with the seaside view.
The room:
The best thing in the room was the bed, extremely comfortable and relaxing. The other parts in the room were ok, The interior decoration was simple and minimal. The bathroom is very good and spacious.
The restaurant:
The breakfast was an open buffet, the hot meals were pancakes, eggs, sausages, fried vegetables and eggs. The cold meals included a lot of cold cuts of meat, cheeses and dairy products. There were very few vegan options on the first day which were, salads mainly, soy yogurt, nuts and fruits.
We have made a request to have vegan options on the breakfast of the second day and they gladly offered hummus and vegan pancakes.
The staff: friendly, greet you with smiles and helpful.
Overall: Although the hotel is 5 stars but based on my experience with other 5 stars hotels in Poland especially in Warsaw I can see a room of improvement especially in the restaurant like a toaster for the bread and options that can be adjusted to satisfy different people, the room's balcony which wasn't that clean and we just opened its door without going outside although the weather was good and minor adjustments in the room like the TV which is partially facing the bed and the couches.

I was not a guest of the Grand Hotel so I will write a review based on the experience I had when looking at this magnificent building. It looks beautiful looking from the Pier in Sopot and from the beach or passing by next to the object. I really like the architecture of the hotel. Around you can see that the whole area is exemplary well-maintained, very clean and sensual as befits a Grand Hotel. A nice fountain and gazebos in front of the hotel. All balconies and terrace decorated with flowers. A very beautiful place to spend time in full comfort.

The staff does everything to make our holidays here just wonderful. Our second summer here is no disappointment. Some parts of the hotel can use some upgrades but the service, politeness and hospitality makes up for it.

Service with nose noses, they think they are unbelievably important. Food is worse than average, while prices are cosmic. I do not recommend

We pay a place not for the quality of the food served. Large portions, but the food is very, very average. Only coffee or beer with a sea view.
