Very nice and courteous hotel great ambience, great location, only 5 min to the next s Bahn stop to be in another 10 minutes at the alexanderplatz. The breakfast buffet is a must !!! Great selection and clean despite a lot of traffic. Really great. If we plan a vacation to Berlin again, this hotel will be our first choice if available.

Nice atmosphere! Unfortunately, it is too cold for me. The air conditioning can not be switched off properly brrrrrr. The breakfast was awesome. Everything was very well presented, it was delicious and nothing was missing. You can only enjoy in this hotel pitch on the Spree. Tomorrow morning I will feast for 2 hours and then jog to Charlottenburg Palace. I
Location and service were excellent. Breakfast buffet very rich and good quality. Arrival by car in your own underground car park, completely uncompetected. Lovely again!!!!
I stayed at this hotel for eight days. It's been a really long time. Basically a very nice hotel and a wonderful location. The front desk was very competent and friendly. I had booked a so-called river view room. I More
I stayed there for two nights in January. The lobby was renovated, but I felt very comfortable. Particularly appealing is the dining room with the great breakfast buffet :) and the location right on the Spree and about 2 km walk to the Bellevue Palace .... gladly again
Location: From here, all strategically important points in Berlin Mitte can be reached with the bus stop (100 meters in front of the door) and line 245. Right on the Spree; great view from the waterside rooms.
Service: Very attentive and friendly. Competent and always serious about help and information. This also includes the area of the restaurant. That is exemplary.
Price-performance: Good hotel. Prices reasonable. Only the in-house restaurant is clearly overpriced in terms of drinks and food - even if the food and drinks are visually well prepared.
Breakfast: very good and plentiful. However, hardly any gluten-free offers. We have not researched whether this is possible on request. It's a shame that "cheap discounter" rolls are also offered here. Bread selection good. And please: No scrambled eggs from Tetrapack. It really works better. Do not just focus on ecologically sensible energy when it comes to energy - please implement the concept in gastronomy as well. Everything else is great.
Rooms: Waterside room for overnight stay very nice, size good. Overall good quality and signs of wear and tear. Furniture some quirks. Room clean. Great: Get a hot water bottle on request at no extra charge.
Conclusion: really recommendable. Some improvements are possible or necessary. Full 4 stars. There is still some room for improvement ...
The rooms are nice and as far as I know all at least a little Spreeblick. The staff is discreet and very polite. From the breakfast we were very impressed, because it for a 4 star plus very high quality and lush fails, as well as the restaurant in which one in a excellent atmosphere and almost on the water very good food and excellenten service. Another bonus is the walking distance to the government district, subway / S-Bahn, as well as shopping facilities and several cafes and bars with Berlin charm.
The hotel is in a great location - in the middle of it and yet quiet. Our room had a wonderful view of the Spree. For our needs, the bed was much too hard. A big minus point gets the service! When we arrived at 11:30 clock we were told that the room was ready by 14:00 clock. Luckily we were on the way longer and arrived at 16:45 clock back at the hotel. Because we were put off again and finally had to wait until 17:15 to get to the room! That is not how it works! In addition, the ladies and gentlemen at the front desk were usually very curt and not too friendly. Too bad - we would have expected more here.
Rooms are light and airy with climate control and the amenities you'd expect. Reception looks nice. Did not eat and drink at the hotel so can't comment on the food and drink but both the restaurant and bar looked nice. Location is close to the railway so easy to get around. Hotel is right next to a supermarket that is fairly well-stocked. I enjoyed my stay.
A superb experience welcoming people parking outside the hotel (quite hard to find) spacious and clean room top restaurant just below canal that passes right next to it
Very nice hotel great breakfast buffet everything your heart desires great staff had rooms on the 7th floor overlooking the river Spree except for a spot in the carpet very nice room very very nice 100% recommendable.
Very satisfied with our stay here. Service was excellent, rooms were beautiful, breakfast was very extensive and fresh. The location was wonderfully quiet but very easy to reach with both metro and car. Voral by metro it was perfect, is on the route of the 4 main routes so only a few stops away from everything. We will definitely stay here again.
If it was possible I would give minus stars ... We were on a road trip and, as we were visiting friends, we chose the Ameron Hotel Abion on the Spree. 4 stars because we thought, you can't go wrong in Germany - unfortunately. First of all the positive, the hotel has a bright and modern interior that ranks on the 3 star level, the breakfast is quite acceptable, even if the price / performance ratio is not quite right. The service staff at breakfast is friendly and hard-working. What does not work at all are obviously poorly or not at all cleaned rooms. It started with the fact that the glasses that were ready for the guests were still from the previous one and still smelled of wine and contained its remains. When showering, we initially thought we had dirty feet, as it turned out that wasn't the case ... we then wiped the tub with a white cloth and got the creeps, because the tub was just dirty and not cleaned. Even before Corona that was an absolute no-go, now twice. I can only advise against renting bicycles, because 10 for 4 hours is really not appropriate with such crutches. The next morning we checked out and when the gentleman at the reception asked whether everything was to our satisfaction, we showed him the dirty glasses and the cloth stained from the dirty tub (we were allowed to dispose of it ourselves later) and informed him, the cleanliness left a lot to be desired. Only when prompted did he look at the glass and confirm that this should not happen naturally. However, he did not seem surprised, nor did the gentleman care much, we were fobbed off with a half-hearted apology and the words: "Please come back again so that we can show you that we can do better" and we were promptly fobbed off Invoice presented in full. To this day, no one has reported from the hotel. Conclusion- I cannot recommend the Ameron Hotel Abion in Berlin and advise anyone not to stay here.
Service friendly and breakfast top, small but cuddly wellness area (with us included), smoking lounge well ventilated, double room unfortunately only with two single beds (had to rearrange) ;-), room size perfectly okay => wanted to see what of the city, cleaned everything daily. Surroundings offers what one expects from Berlin in the working-class district: from multicultural to the typical Berlin neighborhood to the idyllic Spree. S-Bahn in 5 minutes within easy walking distance. Was a great weekend there. First address on the spot when it goes to the capital again.
Room is ok. Here and there you can see a few quirks, which doesn't really bother me
For the fact that the hotel is right on the Spree and has a wonderful view, I have to look at a wall. Well not the worst either, I only spend a short time of the day here
Breakfast is varied and delicious Team was very friendly Meeting space was great too
Beautiful hotel, very nice staff, especially the lady who organized the breakfast! Unfortunately we had to leave very early, so we got a lunch package from the hotel for the trip home. We will definitely be back!
An excellent hotel, polite and competent staff, I was pleasantly surprised that everyone speaks English, from the managers to the cleaning lady. The room is clean and has everything you need. The restaurant bar is very nice, but the menu doesn't have much choice. I liked the breakfast very much, but the price is too high, 19 euros per person.
Nice hotel, price / performance in order, service friendly and competent. Room well equipped, extensive breakfast buffet, connection to public transport.
A perfect hotel ... :-) The location of the hotel is very central, yet quiet. Price / performance ratio is perfect, the service is perfect, the breakfast was great and a nightcap in the Lanninger bar is also recommended, especially in the summer with a view of the river Spree. We'll be back ... Martina & Frank
You can see the "age" of the hotel room, unfortunately. Yes, everything was neat and clean. I am of the opinion that a hotel of this category is min. should be equipped with LCD TV. In my room, however, was a very old tube TV. In addition, with a picture quality that is best identified again. The sanitary facilities were also getting a bit old. It's a shame actually. Otherwise the hotel makes a decent impression.
Location, ambience, rooms and kitchen absolutely appealing. The advertised "fitness room" was however all the more a bitter disappointment and for me personally a reason to NOT return. Since I expect in this general standard and then even with the wonderful view of the Spree much more, what other houses on the same area create easily! Please do not save in the wrong place! The so-called "power tower" was broken, presumably also for lack of understandable device description, and of the functionality anyway rather meaningless ... An investment in a professional dumbbell stand + a backrest adjustable flat bench would delight the hearts of most fitness athletes ;-) Also lacked disinfectant ...
The standard rooms are clean and ok, unfortunately not to the water. It's only available for a surcharge. The hotel is centrally located and you can get there by bus or S-Bahn. Price / performance fits (75, - double room without breakfast. I would sleep here again!
The furniture seems a bit in the Jahee, the breakfast buffet is the choice manageable, on the weekends is the best time for breakfast from 10 clock, otherwise you are a little longer in the queue
Front desk friendly, rooms OK, some used, cleanliness mediocre (toenail from the previous tenant in the bathroom), staff in the restaurant - well - with "Berlin charm".
Nice clean hotel with friendly staff. The location is also top the train is 5 minutes walk away and you can get there very quickly everywhere, but it is quiet
I have stayed in this hotel several times and always very satisfied. Compared to 2 years ago, the rooms now look more modern, but not so cozy anymore ... I can't really decide what I like better, before or after the renovation. We had two minor problems with our rooms, but that was not a problem for the staff at all. We could always be provided with a solution immediately! In the first room we both woke up with back and neck pain because we had two separate beds and so one always had to sleep in the gap. We were immediately given a new room with a mattress. However, we then found in the room that the heating was not working - and that on a Sunday, of course, when there was no technician. Thereupon a stationary heating was organized within 10 minutes! So 5 stars for very competent and friendly staff. Compared to previous years we had more problems ... besides the previously mentioned the much too narrow shower and the water, where the temperature could not be regulated properly. When turning it colder it got colder at first and then hotter than before. In addition, the shampoo holder was so stupid that every time you took off the shower head with the hose, the shampoo bottle was knocked over and lying on your feet. But these are all just small things and most of them have been regulated without any problems. We didn't even address the others. I just wanted to express that I did not know that from previous years and hope that the hotel gets a grip on it. For this reason, the room shares the one-star deduction with the bar and restaurant. I miss the standard cocktails in the bar, both normal and non-alcoholic. I missed Pina Coloda / Virgin Colada, Caipirinha / Ipanema, ... I also didn't really find anything in the restaurant. If you don't like fish and fine dishes, but prefer standard dishes such as pasta, schnitzel or the like, put 20 for this. Pity! I personally do not need truffles in my chicken fricassee, which may justify the price of just under 17. Here should simply be improved on the selection of "normal" dishes.
As I said: all little things and nothing that I would no longer visit the hotel. I wanted to get rid of it anyway, because I know that better from other hotels and also from this one from previous years.
The location is still indescribable, of course! :)
