A2 Hosting tech support does a fine job, pretty much every time, even when the problem lies in software outside their purview. Compared to other hosting companies I've experienced over my 20 years as a web designer/developer, A2 is solid.

I've just transferred my company's hosting service to A2 after many years with different providers, most recently with HostGator. HostGator was great for the price, but was lacking in SSL support and speed. A2 migrated my data over quickly and without any data loss. It was painless and so far all my customers' sites, and my own, are running better. Customer service has been A+ so far.

Very disappointed with this company. Quality has really taken a turn for the worse since first joining a few years ago. Really surprised with the positive reviews (fake)?

Support is actually horrendous (used to be fast, not so anymore). Whether via ticketing (they tend to be worse), livechat (wait time is impossibly long) or on the phone (voice mail). Not going to write an essay about this but basically the kind where you get ONE email per day (sometimes 2 days).

And many times their initial response is infuriating not because their response is inherently slow but because of how useless and ultimately unhelpful. I've verified this on more than one occasion They'll only read up until they have a question then respond. Where as if they were to take the time to read the ticket in it's entirety those half wits would find their answer.

Anyway Definitely don't recommend them, their reviews are questionable - STAY AWAY. This is no longer the great host they used to be!

A2 Hosting has been favorite host so far after going though a few. It service is a great value with features you'll want these day in running at successful website. The speed is amazing, and support has been helpful the couple times I needed them. It has a nice clean account back end which I value in picking a host, but doesn't have things hidden under unnecessary amount of clicks. I highly recommend them!

I had an issue with my website hosted on A2....contacted customer support and the agent set up a ticket as he could not solve the issue right then. I didn't know what to expect, since it was during the holidays and also with Covid, most companies are lightly staffed.
I got a response within a day or so, and the issue was solved by their tech crew within 2 days.
I can not recommend A2 Hosting enough, they have continually gone above and beyond in their support and service!

Having been with hostmonster for some 14 years, and having many unusual customizations, I had put off moving for years knowing it would take a month to get everything back to normal. But the terrible tech support and continued bad experiences at that company made me bite the bullet and move to A2. I shouldn't have waited so long! A2's expert migration team moved every bit of my content and functionality without a hitch! I could hardly believe the name servers were moved when I saw how well everything was working after the move! The one time I did have a problem and reported it, the tech support team isolated the problem down to a specific line of code in one of my files, AND offered to fix it for me if I wasn't sure how. I had no trouble making the correction, but my These guys rock!

It's being more than 2 years. I'm using A2Hosting. I've 2-3 different hosting accounts for different sites. There service and speed work is amazing. I really love their hosting. A2 have their own A2Optimized Plugin which really works very well. I've my own blog and also reviewed A2Hosting on my blog.

Just had the best customer service experience ever with A2 Hosting. Not only did The Customer Service Rep sort my email problem out for me, he also walked me through what he'd done so I understood the process. Extremely knowledgable and very helpful technical service. Definitely a 5 Star Rating!

I am a novice web designer using A2 for 20 years. I get into trouble frequently and get blown away with cPanels. I don t worry though because I know the staff at A2 will have my problem solved shortly after being contacted and I will come away with a little more knowledge. At my age I need this kind of service. A2 has a very professional staff.

I spent far too long with lesser hosts, not knowing that a company like A2 was out there. Not only are their servers far superior to my previous hosts, but their support has been top notch.

Server speeds - Exceptional for shared plans. Where I may have waited 5-7 seconds with other hosts, it's nearly instant with A2.

Back end - The client area is informative, easy to navigate and offers an at-a-glance elegance that is superior to my past experiences.

cPanel - You can't go wrong with cPanel. It's the best out there, and A2 uses it.

Support - This is where I find A2 above and beyond anyone else I've ever used. I've never waited more than a couple minutes for either phone OR chat support. (My last hold time for chat support with my previous host was almost two hours.) When using phone support (I spoke with Rob), he didn't make me feel as though I were a burden. His attitude and demeanor were that of a friend offering a helping hand. He was knowledgeable and didn't have to put me on hold to research material. All of this goes a long way when trying to fix something. I used chat support once (can't remember who I spoke with, unfortunately) and I had three issues. All three were fixed in a timely manner with no problems.

Flexibility - I made the mistake of purchasing a new domain with my previous host not realizing that within a few days I would decide to drop them, and in a hurry. While swapping to A2, I forgot about the domain being non-transferable until it's 60 days old and I had already paid the transfer fee. A2 immediately got in touch with me and asked if I wanted the refund. I didn't have to initiate contact or fight for my money...they made me aware of the situation and asked how they could fix it. I responded to them and asked if they could just keep the money and transfer the domain after the 60 days was up. They said that wouldn't be a problem and to get in touch with them.

A2 has gone above and beyond, met every expectation and overall impressed me. I've used other hosts before that were nowhere near this level of service. As a matter of fact, I thought their sub-par standards were the norm. This made my experience with A2 jaw-dropping at times. A breath of fresh air. They've earned a lifelong customer with me.

This is the worst company that I have ever dealt with! The phone calls are a job within themselves, and most of us have real jobs. We run businesses and have clients to tend to. Recently, one of my clients lost his email and A2 hosting deliberately took 14 days to properly fulfill a simple DNS transfer. GoDaddy can get that done within a matter of minutes. It's absurd, and the company makes you wait on hold for upwards of 4 hours. Do not do business with this company.

I came to write this review because I was looking for something I can do to appreciate this company. I have never seen any other company (not just hosting company) that is so customer-friendly. All the time I have been with this company, I have always felt like a king (no exaggeration intended at all). Please, please, please, I know it takes a lot of resources, energy, and even money to serve your customers so well, but don't ever relent. I am actually looking forward to a day when there will be no other hosting company that people would be talking about other than you.

Once again, five stars to the tech support team. I thought I knew that it was a network issue and sent a ticket to question why the emergency reboot wasn't scheduled until later yesterday evening. The team identified a htaccess file issue at my end. Not only did they identify the problem, but they fixed it. Thank you. Great support and I appreciate it.
