The airport is not very big but it has what is necessary for travelers. It is very neat and it is within the city a plus to save money, the arrival by the sea to the track is incredible.

Thanks to the ABRUTIS counter A02 EasyJet for the flight Nice TOULOUSE 17h40 (Sunday, May 5, 2019) for making me miss my correspondence voluntarily, it takes advantage of his "authority" counter man. And thank you to him for his fingers of honor once I was on the tarmac, a good pair of balls will not have hurt him, it will have avoided calling the PAF.
A French airport can not afford to keep staff so poor, hoping to have an answer from the airport or Easyjet and hoping especially for other users of Nice airport to not fall any more on this kind of individual.

It is a small airport and there are few passengers, but the passport screening process is slow and the number of screening people is few.
There is no rational solution such as increasing the number of counters when the number of waiting people increases, and you have to wait recklessly. It is recommended to go to the airport early.

The public address system is very very poor. The lady spoke very poor English translations of whatever it was she had earlier said in French. There definitely must be someone in Nice that could be able to speak basic English for the sake of humanity.

Chaotic and disorganised. Issues with baggage on both arrival and departure.

Staff were rude and abrupt at check in and boarding gates (terminal 1) with no priority to premium passengers in both instances.

A dissapointment considering the fantastic service you receive in all areas within this region of France.

I was disappointed with the lack of information about carrying a single piece of hand luggage. When boarding, I was forced to put my handbag in my already small suitcase, which was not the case on my outward flight. As a result, I had to throw away things that were too crowded in my suitcase. The lack of information and precision was undeniable, disappointed.

A racism barely veiled at the airport of Nice where we welcome you to the country of estrosi. Driver of a line of department "Alpes Maritimes" who told us to buy a ticket from commercial agents in the station. So far, nothing special except that just last us, he sells a ticket to a lady. We obviously do not have the head of the village.

As for the commercial agent, she was cold and arrogant when I told her the facts.

Commercial agent without training on friendliness and respect for customers.

The very fact that I had a 7am flight was bad enough. Couple that with the fact that the airport itself isn't even open until after 5am means arriving early (or on time) for a morning flight is pointless. What kind of airport has flights 24/7 but isn't open 24/7?

When they opened the gate to start boarding the plane hadn't even been opened yet.

These idiots had us lining up on the ramp to board the plane because they didn't have the forsight to have people line up by seat number the way literally every other airport in the world does it.

Unpleasant experience, definitely to be avoided if possible. Waited 1h15 for baggage drop off only (we had already checked in online). 4 big airlines were served by the same checkin point, which only delayed the whole process for everyone. They apparently experienced a problem with one flight cancelled, but there was no proper management of the situation by the staff present there. Instead of asking people who should have been on the cancelled flight to step aside and proceed with the check in / baggage drop off for the passengers on the other flights (which were one time), everything was blocked and there was no one available to deal with the rest. Clearly a situation of not seeing the forest for the trees.

Airport is Ok but not the taxi station.

Airport is Ok but not the taxi station.

I have to warn about a fact, which made us really upset. There are Mercedes taxis outside of Airport door, i don't know which taxi station they are therefore, i will describe like this. They are ripping people off.

We took the cab around 6 pm and there was a day time - night time pricing for these cabs. However, before we got on the taxi we asked for the price and the driver said that it will be around 30 euros.

Than, when we got closer to the hotel all of a sudden the numbers on the meter became 50 euros and the driver changed the number with his hands. My friend actually recognised it, because the driver was talking constantly(we also almost crashed another car on the way), so I couldn't pay much attention.

In deed, the driver said he had to switch to night time pricing during our ride.

I was too tired and didn't want to argue. My friend became very upset.

The attitude and lack of honesty is really not as elegant as the proposed image of the city.

Therefore, i would suggest you to use the train which cost 2 euros per person to the airport, even though you have a walk about 10 - 15 minutes.

Easy to navigate around reasonable choice of shops and close to Nice and Cannes. Food by the gates during the day time was good, and stayed were helpful. Security is quite inefficient, so worth allowing a bit of extra time.

THE worst airport ever. I was getting my hand luggage in and they said my toner was not acceptable because it was 'too big' when it clearly was at 60ml. I did not ever find any size restrictions about liquid so this is ridiculous. Staff never listens and is very rude. Totally ruined my experience.

No problem for the airport.

No problem for the airport.
On the other hand, there is still a lot of progress to be made for the signage when arriving by car.
The indications are either missing or very unclear, especially for access to the various car parks.

Very hospitable and "kind" airport ... You know, like in my childhood my grandmother is visiting ... There was free transit time, and I gladly visited magical and fabulous Monaco (by the way, very convenient and simple logistics). But here is a paradox. After visiting the Principality, a kind of "fresh" came (probably not only to me) ... thought. And why in such heavenly and fabulous places one cannot forget (I m not afraid of this unprintable slang, but expressing a very colorful idea) the same corresponding air terminal ...?

Dear Sir, Madam

Dear Sir, Madam
We are regularly traveling with our dog from Arlanda Airport, Sweden to Nice Airport. However, the transport of our dog from the aircraft to the airport is not satisfactory. The flight company (Norwegian) is responsible for the animal until the aircraft has landed. Then the dog is your responsibility until we owners take care of it.

Why is not the transport satisfactory?

Because your personnel is negligent in handling dogs. Rules in handling dogs are not adhered to. Animals are not supposed to be liable to any risques whatsoever. Which they are at your airport.

Occasionally, cages have been dropped from the transports between the aircraft and the airport.
Always you put the cage with the dog on the travelators used for special luggage. I've seen the frightened look of our dog when the cage moves on the travelator. You stop it for some seconds - but not enough to enable us to take care of cage and animal. The travelator then continues and the cage with the dog may fall down at the platform at the end of the travelator. Where the cage might turn over and our dog is frightened for the rest of her life. No one of your personnel is observing the cage on the travelator. in order to make sure that everything is allright. No one takes care to check whether the owner has time to take care of the dog before you push the button again. Or is it automatic? Even worse!.
This is not okay!!!
At Arlanda, the owner of the dog is able to get the animal in a sort of door lock. The door opens and the cage is inside on the floor.

We will land at your airport with our dog Friday 14th at 12:40 Terminal 1 with DY 4321.
We will not that our dog is subject to the above.

The signposting can be improved, both towards the airport (signs suddenly stop, access road is hidden) and at the terminal itself. Car hire difficult to find and far away. Returning the car also not indicated handy. All in all strange for such a relatively new airport!

I have contradictory feelings. The airport was fine, but everething takes long time.
1. DONT USE AIRPORT BUS, its expensive (6 EUR per ticket, 2018). You can use public transport. Its little bit far then airport bus, but cost 1,5 EUR. (Take free shuttle to Terminal 1 and go outside from airport to Promenade, Lignes 500 takes you near to tourist centre, almost same place like airport bus).
2. When I was on check-in, crew attach my ID on bag badly, and they lost my rucksack with gifts from Provence :o/

Is probably too small for all the traffic. A lot works well but in some places there can be a lot of queues (such as ticket booths for public transport, passport control for travel abroad) PS luggage storage we found in T2. It worked fine and fast 14 PR suitcase

I do not have to be there alone to have arrived at the level of the buses to have to return inside the airport to buy a ticket (11 for 8kms ...) and thus to miss the bus which did not want either to sell it a while he knew that I would not have time to make the return trip in time ... great service, nice help! ... which gives me time to write this bad opinion ... while waiting for the next bus ..! In the meantime, I have already informed a dozen people as desamparees as me ...
Remember to put a ticket machine, otherwise drivers less cons.

Organised, clean and good comfortable areas to wait for your plane. dont hire a car though its a nightmare. the car hire is at the other terminal, which is a bus ride a long walk away especially if you have cases

smallish airport , but its good enough with a couple of places to eat ( James oliver deli and pizza ) , eric kayser and 2 more. There is a relay shop as well , free wifi. security clearance was also painless , although they do ask boarding pass twice once to get to the security queue and then right next to the x ray machine. Also free power sockets to use at a couple of places

If you arrive after 9 you are a miracle if you find a bus. There is no place to eat (not even a McDonald's). International airport of a third world country, other than France's second airport

It looks like most other airports: plain and rather boring. Obviously you wouldn't want to spend more time in there than strictly necessary!
The queues at security weren't too bad (8pm on a Tuesday). You'll find the usual shops (perfume, alcohol, etc) after security but before passport control. The layout is a bit odd.

The correspondence paths closed, during the control we are made to throw away everything we had bought after our first passage through the controls in Paris. Obviously we are seen more as purses than travelers in transit

I live in Nice since a couple of years travel regularly. I unfortunately have to deal with this airport quite often.
For departures, it's pretty well organised : parking quite close the terminals, affordable bus to take you from the city center (but beware to the schedule which is not always convenient for early flights)
BUT the very unpleasant point of this airport is its organisation when you arrive (especially from along international flight) : the staff in the aiporta aren't communicative at all (some of them even barely speak English). They look like they are fed up with their job and just want to do the minimum. The indications to lead you on your way to control, luggages picking.. aren't clear. And if you add that to staff peoplevwho like they don't like their job, it give a very unpleasant taste of not welcoming aiport (even smaller airports in Asia or Africa have more welcoming and professional staff)

No one from no one. Airport not at all functional. The quality of the staff is poor and do not even speak English. This is still a shame for a region that attracts many English-speaking tourists. The service leaves something to be desired. In short, to review completely

Beautiful airport, functional, practical, the tram has greatly improved its access, the center of Nice less than 20 minutes
Having group departures is a good idea
A small suggestion at the departure hall, an ice cream seller would be welcome especially in summer

This is an obnoxious airport, certainly T2. Where to start.

Going through security is a horrible experience, rude staff, little tiny trays so you need to use many of them, and no where to take them too after the xray machine, so you're trying to repack your bag directly on the tray rack. Every other airport I've been to you can lift them off and take to a table. On this occasion people (I think actually staff) were literally pushing on the trays and mine fell off.

Air side, I usually quite enjoy milling around an airport for an hour or two before a flight, but this was a horrible experience. No decent bars or places to get food (except a very busy and overpriced Jamie Oliver restaurant). If you need to sit you're going to Starbucks (over 6 euros for a coffee believe it or not).

The departure gate (B21/B22) has literally 6 seats (to share between 300 people). Boarding was a joke because were were queued around a corner, and into the main lounge; no one bothered to open the ropes to form an orderly line. It was a pointless waste of priority boarding.

I'm rarely one to praise the UK, but as someone who flies weekly and goes through dozens of airports they make the UK's look positively luxurious. This was far and away the worst I've experienced.

You can't avoid it obviously, but plan to spend as little time as possible at this disgraceful place.

Liverpool and Manchester airports management should get over to Nice to see Security and bagage control can be done.
Politely, Professionally, and thoroughly.
I see someone mentioned rude staff ,well I wonder what the staff would write about you.

This is a review to WARN you about the bus tickets being sold at the Nice International Airport.
My husband and I purchased two tickets for bus number 250 from the train/bus ticket kiosk in Nice Airport terminal 2. This was for the express bus to Antibes. The person recommended we buy the return tickets and we did. At the end of our stay, we waited for 20 minutes in the bus stop in Antibes to get the bus back to Nice airport and the bus driver DID NOT STOP! We then had to arrange for an alternative route to get to the airport and not miss our flight! When we went to the EXACT KIOSK in Terminal 2 to say we would like a refund for the return part of our tickets the person REFUSED it. The two staff in the kiosk were VERY RUDE, they admitted that this is a recurring problem that the bus drivers don't stop but this is not their problem! Whilst we were there another lady came and inform them of the same issue! This is a SCAM! They are knowingly pushing to sell return tickets but many cannot get the return bus. We paid 35 Euros for the two return tickets for the convenience of said "express bus" when the train is MUCH cheaper (around 5 euros!).
I then went to the information desk who kindly called the manager of the airport. The manager told me VERY RUDELY that "this is France, maybe in the UK they would refund you for not providing the service but we do not". If this is the customer service the "manager" is teaching the staff then it is not surprising to see such rude staff at the kiosk. The lady in the kiosk turned the hearing system "OFF" whilst I was talking and just laughed in French with the guy who was there also! The guy made faces at my husband, threw money to the window saying "I cannot give you this money" whilst throwing it!!!!!
I HAVE NEVER EVER in my life came across such rude customer service!
DO NOT FALL FOR THEIR TRAP OF BUYING RETURN TICKETS.

Nice clean airport. Excellent facilities for dropping off and cheap onsite parking. The building itself is modern and well located just at the start of the city, and well connected by motorway. Good duty free shops and restaurants. Some of them , like Eric Kayser will fleece you by charging 3.60 for a small cup of coffee, so be warned.

7:30pm on a Saturday night and literally every restaurant in T1 departures is closed. Is this really France s 3rd international airport? There is a better selection of places to eat at Inverness Airport.

At the airport there are two terminals.

At the airport there are two terminals.
From one terminal to another, you can get by using a shuttle bus (Shuttle Bus), which will bring you to the desired terminal for free.

From the airport you can reach the city center by bus:
- 98 bus (costs 6 euros) will take you from the terminal to the city
- any bus to the city (stop Aeroport Promenade), travel costs 1.50 euros, but before stopping you need to get to the above shuttle.

Terminal 2 is super small if we will have in mind that this airport is 3rd busiest airport in France (over 12 mln people per year). A lot description/titles/labels are only in French. There is missing an average price place to eat. Prices in duty shops are higher than in UK in shops without discounts. There is an restaurant and Starbucks in sector/area B, but there is no map which could point it (if you will go through gates to section B, you will be not able to go back - the question is: why?). In some areas on airport is super cold and in some of other is super hot like there was no air-condition at all.

This airport is decent size. Plenty of airplanes travelling through this port. Airport is very clean and public transportation is just outside the airport. Easily accessible form the city center. They have only few cafes inside but not the restaurant. I was looking for a restaurant but couldn't find it. I have found the member of staff were really helpful and polite. They tried their best to help. Car rental is just next to the airport. many duty free stores available inside. Sometimes the line can be long but please remember you are not the only one and the stuff is doing their best. Highly recommended.
