Human-sized airport.
Breathtaking view of the sea and the baous.
Deplorable T2 information point.
First, all the counters are closed due to covid (which I understand of course), a red phone is available to reach the information point by phone.
No hygienic measures are taken around this phone, no gel to clean it from one person to another, believe me, having a member of staff would be more hygienic than this solution.
The phone rings, a young woman at the end of the line who will not sprain herself to help you. Close the service completely, because after this phone call, you will not be more advanced and you will have to manage and as a bonus, you took a risk of catching COVID because of this cursed phone full of microbes.
Thank you Nice airport, well done!
My fav airport :)
Adam.
I visited Nice in November. Flying outside Schengen Area I used Terminal 2, which is located far from T1. The airport (both terminals) are serviced by public transport, Tram line 2, which is still in development, but decently fast, secure and very cheap - in my opinion the best way to get to the tourist area of the city. Airport was clean, except one of the bathrooms. Services are good and times for security and passport check were insignificant. One mention, the automatic security check for electronic passports wasn't working at the time.
Great hospitality, nice airport with smiling, dedicated and polite employees. Very happy to have been able to contribute to the well-being of the airport after having made a perfume and 2/3 of my bathroom kit to the police of the air! I hope you will make good use of the guys!
Check-in took 30 Min even thou we were 5th in line, almost no sitting at departure gate, no toilet seats on toilets in the bathrooms, very poor air conditioning at departure gate, no clear boarding priority, no instructions for airport staff
Good morning, I am writing to inform you of my outrage over control of baggage in Nice today. In fact, it is clear that my family and I arrived from Rome 3 days before, where we had the same check, passed the spray deodorant of my daughter and our sandwiches. While in France, rude tones, we were told that the spray was dangerous and therefore they would have thrown it. Rightly I thought it's true an 11-year-old girl with her sparay could kill someone ..... but my indignation reached a climax when they threw the cheese saying it was too soft and then you could make an explosive with FOMAGE !!! already opened and started ..... not only were rude but when I asked why, suggesting that maybe the problem was the smell of cheese .... I was told that the fault was my flight company (who has not warned me about the information) and that exists from everything. So in Italy do not apply perocedure? Or do they have common sense, because only in France, the country of human rights threaten me to call the police if I continued to speak out loud? And why are you blaming your fears on explosive cheeses? Thanks for your attention
Sent to the Easyjet company
Large international airport with flights to all over the world. Easy accessibility and large parking. Queue times for check in are normal. On the other hand, the services are very expensive, it is better to have breakfast outside the airport, in proportion they cost less than airline tickets.
parking very badly indicated; especially when returning from the night, how do we find the p9 when we return at night? no shuttle, poorly attended parking, no signage, sidewalk that hinders the rolling of carts, not enough seats in the airport, and only 3 benches outside ... people are sitting on the ground ... take example on bale to improve all that, (in positive planes fly correctly ...)
No distance when checking in, boarding or even on the bus.
Impossible with the high number of Corvid diseases in Nice
Safety control that makes tons I put my toiletries as always in a transparent pouch but it was not suitable for the security officer who hands me a pouch for me to put them in. She makes me take off my shoes while 5 days earlier in Orly no problem. They must de-stress
The worst and rudest airport experience ever. Securitas Staff abusing of their position when checking handluggage while belittling passengers as they do so. They will go thru your items one by one displaying your intimacy without an once of More
Had to wait 40 minutes for the luggage after landing. No information given and staff where no where to see
Luggage delivery is still long. Only one plane and half an hour to wait. This is the slowest airport I have ever been to ...
Beautiful outside inside but it's like a theater scene behind the scenes! Especially the control I was in the obligation to throw a jar of honey and lemon rum baba ptdr and it is not all my sunscreens have not resisted direct trash and as I allowed myself to report it they are passed without problem on the voya since Paris ... In short I think that the company Samsic and his staff play a little too much for the boys safety to want to apply the letter to the letter a little jujotte would be welcome in my opinion this company should keep its main business industrial cleaning for businesses
The directions to reach the airport are nonexistent especially at the end. I had reserved a parking spot at p6 and once again the directions were extremely rare at the confirmation of the booking of the parking there is no indication that it was necessary to take a reserved line for bookings click and pay. ..
Once out of the vehicle the directions for the terminal 1 stop abruptly ....
A lot of work to do for that. Keep in mind that people who come do not necessarily know the airport ...
On a more positive note the t1 is not bad.
Too many unpleasant staff except for the tram ticket counter staff.
04-2018 Arrival with Eurowings: suitcases came very quickly. But after that it didn't work as well. Designated rental car area occupied only by one person (Hertz) because there no longer exists. Airport information gives contradicting statements on how to get to the corresponding terminal. So walk through the large construction site outside, look for the bus, be transported to the other terminal (animals would be treated better), there again walk to the rental car center (good that the suitcases have good roles), wait. 1st elevator to parking level failed. Signs to Autobahn 8 moderately through many other destination signs. - Not really recommended for inexperienced first-time visitors due to poor organization after arrival. Construction work, but it was just like that a year ago. I didn't feel comfortable when I arrived. Although I have been traveling to this region for 56 years. Unfortunately, you have no alternative.
A beautiful airport.
Not very big but well organized.
But the prices are expensive on the duty free side.
We must pay more than 360 euros a year For an access badge which, in the summer of not giving you access to any parking spaces (because they always sell more and more without increasing the capacity of places on the contrary) and in addition of that, it's been 4 times that I come in the month and there are as many people as in the caf! All this to be able to pay 360! It happens a moment to stop taking the client for a con! A little organization! If you know that you have 1,500 badges each year, hire temporary workers I do not know! But it's not up to the customer to be impacted by your ambition to always make more money
I think it is recently renovated ... I was at the end 2. Very comfortable to reach from the highway .. In the terminal There are a couple of restaurants among these one of Jamie Oliver and several shops. Recharging points with plugs and usb with comfortable sun loungers.
I love Nice, the city is sublime, but it's hot, even serious at times and dangerous (full of people harmful to society)
Super close tramway to town. Lots of sidewind from the sea during start (why build it parallel to the sea). Not good on providing info during delay.
Very poor signage, misleading and misleading passengers, it is difficult to find someone from the staff who is friendly and willing to help. There are very few places to sit before passing security. Rent-A-Car is almost a 20-minute walk away and at certain points along the way we have to go with our luggage on top of the subway tracks.
Terminal 2 is a bit outdated and small given the number of passengers arriving or departing. There are only a few toilets which are frequently full. Btw, there are no plastic or wooden toilet seats on the toilets - isn't that weird??? On the other hand there are many shops and restaurants for such a small airport. So, our impression was that the airport management want you to go spending instead of just sitting somewhere and killing time. Moreover, there are no power plugs in the terminal - that's just ridiculous. Lastly, we travelled from the airport in February 2018 and there were still passport checks after passing through security. Does that make any sense that they check you twice? It just adds to the hassle of traveling from this airport.
Good airport in terms of safety checks and gates. Could definitely have better food inside. I took off a star since it has terrible access by public transportation. Definitely not optimized for train access.
Parking not easy to spot. Soft music would be welcome in the airport.
Not great for a transit and terminal change. To go from T1 to T2 you will have to take the free shuttle which will make some stop at the various car parks, before arriving at your destination. The transits of less than 1h are really very fair.
Terminal 2 area B is a laughing stock... Be sure to arrive hours earlyer as normal(not biometric) passport control is really slow.. Just 3 desks for about a couple of hundred people that need to embark..
The person at the reception of Air France super, very pleasant and understanding !!! Many thanks to this lady.
Suitcase "lost" at this airport. Checked in and then never seen again.
So very angry and you will never see me there again.
Every direction you want, and the plane will be departed without asking anyone to find a simple signposted direction signs are comfortable.asiri not crowded.cok cafe and store markets are very stylish. I didn't see anything negative.
Staff listen in this particular context of epidemic. Terminal 2 only open, easily accessible by line 2 of the tram. Pleasant experience for a professional trip
A small airport where everything is well marked. Clean, no rush.
The T2 drop-off (kiss & fly) has changed for the worse. Now you have to take a ticket to get there, and not to exceed 5min otherwise you have to pay 4 . So people come out to go around and re-enter: waste of paper, gas, time, plugs at the entrance and exit of the drop-off.
Nice French airport is very modern, well connected via bus with city city around the airport.
Many domestic, intercontinental, and international flights. Restaurant and bar facilities are numerous.
Very convenient for continuing trips in the area here.
Nice is a port city, located not far from the Italian border, between Cannes and Monaco. According to the data from 2006, the number of inhabitants in the place was 347,060. Nice consists of three different parts by physiognomy, and to some extent by function. These are: the old part of the city, Simez (the old Roman regional center) and the new part of the city.
Terrible experience for international arrivals. 40 minutes to go through customs, only 3 customs officer were working, during week end and in high touristic season (July); and after 20 minutes to wait luggage.
Departure was not better: airport road access were closed (23/07/17) due to some event, without preliminary information.
Very good, very good electrical worker, nice his name is Julien.
Only 1 person for passport control, queued 45' to get to the gate
Very nice airport. The renovations have paid off. Its proximity to the city center makes it a very convenient airport duty free shops, services, finally everything. Landing is usually synonymous with holidays, it makes you think of the beach, swimming and it's happy.
I didn't find any water fountain in the airport, if they are available, they were not easy to find...
Security check was quick and easy. Lady at the information desk was friendly. Bus drivers (that take you to your plane) are very rude and lack common sense. The shops at the airport are overpriced and not really good.
Well indicated to navigate, easy connections, pleasant.
This notice relates only to the Kiss and Fly drop-off which has just been modified. I come back to pick up a friend already 2 min from the past. At the exit 10 car on the right and 10 cars on the left and its block. The system takes its time at least 1 minute per car while there is 5 minutes of free while before no limit. Result 4 euro paid for staying 6 minutes. Nice airport really takes us for pigeons it is unacceptable.
Airport divided into two terminals, with some logistical and somewhat dispersive limits. Terminal 2 is the newest and most spacious. To move between the various car parks and the two terminals there is a free shuttle, the connections to the city center have improved thanks to the tram.
Large airport, with quite a few shops with good staff who are helpful and courteous!
For the 2nd airport in France, the service is correct.
Friendliness of security guards always on top of their moods
Terminal 1 still closed, reduced number of flights, easy parking, fast clearance from air to land side...thumbs up!
Absolutely lousy ... only one BA plane in the whole section, no indication ... overwhelmed and inattentive hostesses ... 1h10 in line for the so-called "priority lane" ... without having more verification than usual ...!
It is clear that a little less short-time working would be welcome among airport staff.
Nice airport but a little late for the flight and especially very fussy on the luggage prepare all your toiletries in a plastic bag and not in a sealed plastic case because it does not suit them and you will lose time.
Otherwise it is a beautiful site well maintained.
a bad airport for a touristy area. quite small, Pegasus has flights. I guess he flies the most suitable. You can go to the city by buses close to the city. but the bus departments were a bit confused, I had a bit of trouble for me, and the information screens could have been more organized. in the holiday mood like the employees :)
Busy, only 1 terminal in use. Not convenient, think Covid will get less frip in 2 terminals.
Too bad the parking lots of T2 are dirty, plastic bottles and papers lying around on the floor and elevators not often cleaned .... very bad image for foreigners who come to us ....
Small and horribly organized airport. Very bad management. Photos show the way the airport manages the bording of 5 different flights witout any type of order.
Nice airport and nice city. Many flaws though. As soon as we arrived we were greeted by a beggar who yelled and yelled asking for 20 cents using bad English language. Head to the bathroom. Again a disappointment. Dirty bathrooms and urine-soaked floors. For the rest, everything is quiet except the stolen prices and a bit of confusion
Terminal 1 has been rebuild, and is now updated. Terminal 2 in under remodeling. Better parking spaces.
Small, fairly busy airport. Overpriced parking lots. About half of the flights arrive directly at the terminal - for the rest it's a never-ending bus ride, like canned sardines. Duty Free more expensive than in town!
Social distancing, flight arrivals from Mallorca, bus transfer to the terminal, 13 August 2020, and then they tell us to be careful!
According to France for traffico.Ora airport can be reached by the new tram line2 towards the center only 1.50 .Comodo and savings
Hello!
The airport is convenient, compact, clean!
Two terminals, the second international.
I advise everyone, if there are plans to rent a car, then it is here!
Great choice!
To get to Nice, buy a ticket from the bus ticket (in the airport) box. 6 euros for 1 adult. Then take the bus from Bus Stop 5 and get off at Gambetta / Promenade. The bus stop was the closest because I tied to the hotel on the beach. But the airport staff are not friendly.
The airpprt is located on the sea shore. it stays busy through out the year. while landing, you can enjoy the beautiful view of Nice. the same is true for those who enjoy the flight landing sitting on the beach.
I was flying with EasyJet so the terminal is very very basic. Its a shame as flying through this terminal makes travel a bit more tedious, but then thats what you expect from the so-called "cheaper" airlines. Will be doing my best to not go through here again.
EasyJet staff in the morning shift was literally human rubish, they refuse to give their names when you say you wanna make a complain, Specially they lady who said she was "NCE 404" (i think is a false id) deserves to be fired, honestly. (My fly to Seville was cancell that morning)
That lady (she dsnt deserve to be call lady) was sit in the right corner (there was 3 ladies) of easyjet desk Sunday 19 August 2018 around 10 o'clock. Seriusly, try to find who is to make disciplinary actions...
Also, Iberia express didnt make my checking properly, i had my boarding pass but i was denied to get inside because "my check in wasn properly realized"... Worst experience in an airport EVER!!!
Just thanks to the night shift of Easyjet, the only ones who really tried to help you with your problems...
The airport staff here are disgustingly unhelpful, obnoxious, unfriendly and downright rude. I will not be returning to this airport again. I'd give ZERO stars if I could. Disgraceful.
Super airport the airstrip is located at the magnificent seaside if like me you are addicted to planes . The airport is very clean and the staff are attentive. The only downside is the connecting flight you have to get out of the airport and I find that it is not always easy to find so
