Good airport overall, the proximity to the city centre, two terminals, useful facilities on the parking lot, car rental centre is very impressive. The only issue is taxi drivers, they charge you minimum 20 euros, if you go close, but if you need to go to city centre it's 35 euros tarif, taxi drivers' attitude is not the best.
I booked and paid for a parking space that went with my flight so from October 18th at 5am to midnight October 20th. My plane landed at 22:40 so on October 20, so I get my car and I am asked to pay 25 more. I do not understand, and there on the intercom my interlocutor explains to me that we are not the 20 finally can be, and that if we are the 20, we exceeded it of 23h. So engage in a conversation to understand nothing that leaves me that choice to pay as an ignorant. Bravo I! To him who will take the time to read me, I leave him in his own opinion this puzzle. Deplorable, see unimaginable !! Nice way to take money, an efficient commercial service.
The airport is improving now that there is less construction and it's easier to see where things are. Helpful staff, as far as we've experienced. I accidentally left a bag with security, and they helped me get it back quickly. Their wheelchair service was great for my son who had a broken leg.
Perfect. Excellent airport, everything is clear and precise.
All food in every shops most likely finishes at around 20:30, which is ridiculous for an international airport.
Very convenient arrival December 2018 to take advantage of the tram which stops at the 2 terminals just in front of the airport gates! well done
Shame, bus canceled and postponed at the terminal at 3:30 am, forced to wait outside in the cold all night without even being able to buy water or go to the toilet because the whole airport was closed !! Never seen that me who travels a lot
Terminal 2: Lack of cleanliness, pedestrian paths to be reviewed, unclear indications, very dirty toilets. A bit miserable for the 3rd French airport, which is moreover receiving customers who can be very demanding. 2 stars despite everything for the proximity to the city center and the service by tram and TER.
No respect or implementation of protocol against COVID, no Freezing, no distancing ... Bravo NICE !!
Nice is nice city and airport to,under Covid a lot shop are closed but we can drink something on bar inside.
Airport is of a decent size, the food court is closed at the moment so only few stalls that sell the same sandwiches, not much choice of food and sitting. No good social distancing at all, no one cares when hundred of people are queuing really closed to each other. To reach the plane there was only one bus where everyone was jammed in, so even worse. At least provide two buses instead of jamming everyone together to prevent issues with Covid.
Love the place, Every time I land here easy car hire and everything is so easy and uncomplicated. Helicopter ride into Monaco takes about 8 to 10 mins, 6 if you are in a hurry.
Very poor experience each time I've been here. Poor layout with very few signs to direct you. Staff everywhere is unhelpful and seem like they genuinely couldn't care less about you - not to mention that the place is woefully understaffed. If you plan to fly out of here / rent a car, make sure you leave yourself A LOT of extra time.
The poverty of the catering offer at France's second largest airport. A late flight? Eat before and OUTSIDE the terminal (2): ... all, ALL catering resources, from sandwich to caviar, before or after the filter are closed or push you back from 8:45 pm. Just lousy. Flight on departure on 08/15/2018.
Very good airport with good bus service and large and very comfortable
Normal medium airport with people around the world with prices nothing different from others airports and about people, please you are in France and you don't speak French don't call them rude. we
The gentlest customs police I have seen anywhere in the world!
I find it really unacceptable that Nice airport endorses a car hire like Goldcar who is one of the biggest crook and thief of the moment !! it has a clean space in next to other renters !!
The staff filling the dispensers do not wear a mask, is this normal?
Closes at night. No way to access the airport to have a seat or get a coffee.
Convenient, well signposted, only parking is very expensive.
Lamentable .... The drop-off is a huge boast intended to charge families who accompany their loved ones. This will not smooth the flow of passengers. Changing airports will be easier
Airport on a human scale, the staff is very friendly, available ... a pleasure
How can France's third largest airport literally have only a costa coffee with a small table area?? How? Literally nothing else, no pubs, no restaurants, no fast food outlets, just a costa! Travelling at peak time the queue is enormous and then you have to sit on the floor to eat. Laughable.
Easy and medium size airport no 2 for Air France, Alitalia and several other airline have a lot of facility
Nice is relaxed again, as it used to be in time for the extra checks. The tram now also offers added convenience.
Very neat airport and efficient services of Air France
I could not log onto the WiFi while waiting for my bus despite numerous attempts. The coffee in the snack bar wasn't outrageously expensive however
Well except for a minute drop of 5 minutes it is too short
At the moment only terminal 2 in service, airline boarding, goods, food and drink, minimum in agreement with government directive.
Passing through this airport in between 20 and 80 time a year since 2010. Friendlyness of staff (mostly French, bear that in mind ... Put your basic expectations at the lowest level before starting) and quality/ efficiency improve each year. Certainly at security in terminal 2. Connections by public transport are rather week. An expensive fast bus takes you every half hour to Monaco/Menton, but not too late in the evening. Bus to Nice is also a whopping 6 or 8 eur. Unless you walk first to the road in front and take a normal bus. There is a train station, Nice St Augustin, at a 12 to 15 minutes walk, if you find it. And don't try it after sunset if you are good-looking. Works are busy for adding a tram from directly in front of the terminals to the city. Inside both terminals it's always busy but you feel comfortable, good airco's. Drinks and food available at typical airport prices. Enough restrooms all around, mostly always clean. Terminal 2 has seaviews
Kind of... provincial airport. I mean, there is nothing wrong with it, it's just an overall feeling. Staff, well, not particularly polite keeps rushing people (which is not surprising considering queues). Restaurants closing at 21:00.
The worst experience of an Airport in my life . I need to connect with wi fi for Uber taxi. it did not connect properly and lost connection. i had to pay for local taxi as was late flight .tourist information staff not too concerned . The only way I found out what terminal I was in was by going outside and reading the sign. I would like to advise you to avoid but how can you .?
No organization, customer service seems to be leaving work, English seems to be an unknown language
Altought the airport service is fine during my last visit there was still some problems when entering and getting around airport with car.More precise infornation signs on road sides in or or out of airport should be provided, especially during recontroction works among terminals.
Its a small strip of land but said to be 2nd busiest airport in France. It has all amenities of a big airport and communication to city is easy.
Nice airport is very well located, so you can admire a great panorama when taking off and landing. However, the airport itself has little variety and quickly becomes chaotic when flights are delayed or canceled. Unfortunately, the traffic connection to the city center (still) is not optimal. Currently one is on bus (6 euros) or taxi (very expensive) dependent. However, the tram will be further expanded, so that in the medium term, a direct connection between the airport and the city center by tram will be possible.
At terminal 2 the services are not organized too good, really long time to wait to the desk. At least at Easyjet one hour in queue. Many people have to run minutes before flight departing. And some workers refusing to answer in English,or call the last call in English. Second time here, same story . 2 hours before flight its not enough. Take longer time if you want also stop or eat something before your flight.
Regular user (once a week) and Platinum member of the club, since the implementation of the new T2 controls, it has become hell !! Endless queues and a very average reception ... people who miss their planes etc ... and even with fast access !! It is unacceptable
It seems like there way too little people working here, there is no airport information, long cues are the standard, it gets chaotic when too many people wait, as they don't manage the cueing properly.
There is truly nothing good about this airport. Everything sucks.
This is the first place where you set foot in a dream destination: infrastructure lives up to its reputation as efficient and constantly evolving one of the major improvements in terms of accessibility is the tram service which puts this space less than 20 minutes from the city center the professionalism and friendliness of all the staff should be emphasized, which is not so common in airports
I left from nice August 6, 2018 to go to Madrid, unfortunately during the trip to go to the airport we had an accident on the highway. We were late and the hostesses were very kind and efficient ... It will seem incredible but they allowed us to get on the plane even though we were a quarter of an hour late from the departure of the plane. They managed to manage the situation and allowed us not to miss the trip! 5 deserved stars! Thanks Nice!
Airport that is becoming increasingly important. It evolves constantly, the tram connects it now to the city of Nice is very convenient. Clear information makes it easy to navigate.
Wifi worked fine. Small neat airport. Staff were friendly and helpfull.
Everything closes before your flight lands in the evening. If your departure is delayed or you have a late flight, there's no cafeteria open. The power outlets for charging phones don't work. There's no sockets available for plugging in your own charger or laptop. For an international airport, this is very poor.
nice airport but your SELECTA coffee machines at T2 sucks when you pay for the tea flowing without a cup so in the end no bus prices are expensive for poor machine maintenance the snacks are 3 times more expensive than the machine. In addition the machines are always OUT OF SERVICE especially that of cafes. is there was a poster in the toilets written on it that there were cockroaches in the coffee machines. if you consume in SELECTA always check before consuming at home check before each purchase check that the support or the cup is placed just below the support there is a grid just below is you saw that there are coffee sticks or other rubbish AH also check on the machine they say COVER unavailable never buy in case of this problem never buy AH also if the card reader is off or displays communication unavailable.
Easy to find your way around. But not easy to park to pick up people without having to pay for parking. 45 minutes free so don't hang around
Small but very well organised airport. Its very close to the sea.
It s not even empty to give information and dress but it s real
The new traffic pattern of the airport is simply shameful !!!!!! THE KISS AND FLY must stay KISS AND FLY !!!! NOT A PARKING (paying and only 1 way) clogged the A8 highway give the KISS AND FLY !!!!
Exorbitant parking price .... paying for the drop-off of disabled people .... a real shame
Very disappointed with this airport, it has been under construction for 2 years and there is still some point to work on: 1-The display needs to be reviewed and improved. it is quite difficult to find your way from the start of your arrival by bus. How do we know if we are at terminal 1 or 2, and what is the difference? The display of boarding gate numbers does not stand out sufficiently. The positive point is that there is a free shuttle between the 2 terminals, but like all travelers we have luggage which can be heavy. So we use the cadis made available. But... 2- Development of sidewalks for the cadis. Please make arrangements and passages for the cadis. because for the moment this is not the case. As soon as you arrive at the bus there is a big sidewalk to cross, imagine the work of a family with 3 children and 2 very heavy cadis. 3-COMMUNICATION WITH TRAVELERS. there is no audible voice message. Being in the scent zone, the voice message does not pass in this zone. Then in the central area we can hear the crackling for each of their uses, but on the other hand the message itself is incomprehensible. 4- The quality of snack products is just not edible and excessively expensive.
The new Terminal 2 drop-off is convenient for filing but VERY DIFFICULT TO EXIT. More than 10 minutes waiting ...
It is a very convenient airport. The tax refund is on the first floor of the basement. You can simply take the tax refund form to scan the barcode. There is a mail box opposite.
Terminal 1 closed for a few months but I was not notified. I think it is more the fault of the company but to reach terminal 2 I lived a life of beasts. Lack of indications
It's the worst airport I've ever been. It's small, crowded, no many shops and most importantly there are hardly to find any sockets to charge your gadgets, in the 21st century, come on Nice Airport, you could do better. However the city of Nice is amazing. It lets you forget about the airport experience.
Very bad signage .. no place to collect passengers except paying expensive parking.
Small airport, kinda hard to find your way, and car rentals lines are long. Also baggage claim can get very crowded at times.
Very close to the city center, which is rare for an international airport!
Beautiful safe place and you find yourself very well
Building is little bit dirty For the shopping must be pass the security check once enter the security check you can buy anything
This is not what it used to be! Nostalgia... And ... Very disappointed to discover your partnership with marineland! Promote the captivity of imprisoned, drugged and ill-treated wild animals ... A shame ! You should find out about your partners. You are obviously not responsible for what happens there but you are responsible for promoting it and supporting it! Our region is beautiful enough to find very attractive and above all ethical partnerships.
Always really pleasant airport even in front of Paris! On the other hand, I give a negative opinion because the works for the tram etc took forever. Access for pedestrians was dismal and especially the airport was privatized like Toulouse, which is not acceptable !!
No restaurants or shops offering any vegan food options. If you don't eat dead bodies, bring food from home.
I had quite a lengthy layover in terminal 1, and it was alright. There were basic amenities such as places to buy food, adequate seating, and a helpful information desk that spoke english. The only setback would be that there were not enough outlets, and the restroom could have been cleaner.
Super accommodating so long as you make the proper coordinations.
Difficult to find electricity. Bring your device fully charged !
