The nitro coffee (tried the house) is really good, better than Compass in my opinion, it is so smooth. The cinnamon rolls on Saturdays and Sundays are also so tasty! As a sister of Baked & Wired, I had high expectations, and it did not disappoint.

I had the salmon sandwich and it was delicious! They had fried capers on it, which was surprisingly a special touch! All the other meals our group are left everyone happy and looked great. I also heard they have a pizza and live music night on Thursdays. Sounds intriguing!

Love the vibe here! Had a great carmelized onion and goat cheese quiche with dressed mixed greens on the side. The $10 price tag seemed very appropriate. I liked how many varieties of tea were available and how much care they took in presentation.

I discovered it very recently and although photos are not the best, in this case it is the least, CREATE ME !! Amazing place, organization, communication, service! No word on the biscuits, no word on the salmon toast, amazing banana bread. incredible price quality. I change my mornings

Love Love Love this place! Only had one bad experience and it was the owner when she thought we were bringing in other cake but we bought it from them. She was kind of rude and could have just asked. Besides that their biscuits are awesome. Goat cheese . . .

Wait gets long on weekend brunch but it is totally worth it. Pastries and bread are their specialty but everything else on the menu seems to be great. Seating gets a bit limited during rush hour, would recommend getting your order to go over standing around waiting for seats to open up. Very extensive drink options of both hot and cold coffee and tea.

Serving some of DC's best bread, best food, best coffee, best tea, best pastries, and best vibes. Worth the weekend wait, and insane *not* to go on weekdays when you are hungry or thirsty and even remotely nearby

Really open atmosphere and amazing food. We enjoyed a housemade mattador which featured a shortbread crust, topped with chocolate, sandwiching an equal layer caramel. I sipped the night away on a "black eye." This coffee drink was a blend of house brewed dark roast coffee and 2 shots of espresso. Delisioso! A great time and a warm location for me and my honey, some drinks, snacks, and a local's therapy dog. Cheers and ciao.

The mocha was a bove average and the croissant superb. But the used soy by default and never asked my preference. The baked goods do use butter so this place isn't vegan. There's also no wifi. I know it's a choice for some places these days, but it goes counter to cafe culture of today. The choice shows, few people stay and hang out in their huge and likely pricey space.

An extremely tart key lime pie and a dirty chai was very much needed. Love the big, cavernous space. Flyers of art and politically conscious events line the wall. There was a ton of pastry selections which I have to come back for. I've fallen in love with this cafe. Wish I had more time in DC

Get the almond butter and banana toast. Order one and only one (promise, it will be more than enough and your tastebuds will thank you!). Great for breakfast and coffee for vegans and non-vegans alike.

Chic coffee shop in the heart of DC. Amazing pastries and delicious breakfast options. Coffee selection is fantastic. Only problem was the long weekend lines, but they move quicker than you'd think and are worth it!

Awesome Meatloaf Sandwich. A coworker recommended I stop in for lunch. I am happy he told me about this wonderful bakery, coffee shop, breakfast, lunch, and weekend evening restaurant. The large open industrial modern decor makes for an attractive atmosphere. There is ample shared seating in two large areas. I will be back for lunch next time I m in the area.

We went twice last week while visiting DC. Service was friendly and efficient. Food was excellent. The first day for breakfast we had an NC Country Ham (delicious) and a Prosciutto Sammie (an unexpected but wonderful breakfast offering), a perfectly cooked poached egg, bacon cooked crisp as ordered, toast with butter, and a delicious and large cinnamon roll. Fresh OJ rounded out the meal. Our second visit here was for brunch. Another Prosciutto Sammie and a Meatloaf sandwich were shared between the two adults. The child has his usual poached egg, bacon and toast. The egg was perfect again. The bacon came out too soft but was quickly and happily remade. The iced tea with peach undertones is particularly good. Not too peachy . Just right. If we lived in the city, this would become a regular stop for our family.

One of our favorite breakfast/lunch spots! Would love to see the savory oatmeal with a grits substitution option! It would be another gluten-free choice and fit right in with all the other tasty savory ingredients in the dish! Thanks for your consideration and the always delicious food!

I work near here, and I can say that I am here usually at least once a day during the week. Everything I've had here is delicious - the coffee, the cocktails, the pastries, biscuits, lunch and pizza. The staff is so amazing and patient with new customers or when you're incredibly indecisive, and they create an inclusive community within the space. There's so much seating and the space - both inside and outside - has a great vibe. The only downsides - there's no wifi (it would be 10,000x more crowded if they did), large crowds at times (the line can get pretty long in the morning, at meal times, and on the weekends) and they close at 3pm M, Tu, and Wed. Despite those things, this is one of my favorite places where I will continue to be a frequent visitor.

Easily my favorite breakfast spot in DC. Highly recommend the savory oatmeal, breakfast Sammies, or the quiche. Coffee is quite good, too.
Warning: if you seek breakfast on the weekend, arrive early (before 9am) to avoid big lines. The lines move quickly enough though, so do not be discouraged if it is snaking around the place.

They havw amazing tea here that basically steeps while you eat. Their breakfat was delicious and they have a bunch of healthy options too. I would definitely be back for breakfast in DC.

Good for breakfast with a toddler. They have limited high chairs so wise to bring your own. Can get crowded on the weekends. Coffee and any of the dishes we've had have all been delicious. There loaves of bread are good, but just know they'll go stale quick.

This is a fantastic place to get an espresso, their baked goods aren't quite at the level of their other location: Baked and Wired, but their bread is fantastic and much better then other grocery stores in the area.

While it can certainly get busy in the morning the line moves quick and seating is somewhat reasonable, especially if you don't mind sharing tables. Coffee is rotating so always something new to try. Food is also rotating so always fresh and new. Wonderful bakes and great customer service

INTERNET AND CELLULAR BLACKOUT!!! Their baked goods are 5 stars (No question their croissants are awesome!) but the signal for your phone is HORRIBLE! And they have no WiFi. Really? Are you serious? Come on!

Food is good there. I enjoyed the meatloaf sandwich. Cookies were good but not great. There was seating but it's also like a coffee shop filled with individuals taking tables who are there to use the WiFi all day. You might make sure there's space if you want to eat there.

This is a great bakery that had a nice coffee house vibe. Beautiful space with lots of seating indoors and also outdoors seating as well. When you walk in the front door you get in line and order at the register. They take your name and call you when your drunk and food orders are ready so it's likely to be in parts if you order hot food. Fantastic tea and coffee and the baked goods and hot food were delicious. As others have said, who knew savory oatmeal could be so good. Can be very crowded but likely a bit better with warmer weather as there is outdoors seating. No parking lot.

Such a cool place this was. I went with a friend who was visiting and found A Baked Joint on yelp. When my friend asked if I've ever been I really thought it had something to do with weed lol. Guess not but by the name I think others would feel the same.

The prosciutto sandwich was delightfully scrumptious. Perfectly poached egg with bacon that was just the right amount of crispness. The OJ was really good too. Freshly squeezed and definitely tasted like it. I will definitely frequent A Baked Joint as much as possible.

Excellent food, quick service (order and pickup yourself - very convenient) plus modern decor & a open seating layout. One of the better places to go for a quick delicious brunch, but heads up because they are usually busy.

I (used to) hang out with my pup and friends all the time. Miss getting coffee here. The inside is great to hang out and read a book. I still come here to pick up some pastries in the morning. They are sister bakeries with Baked and Wired, so I m always happy to get cupcakes. Their red velvet cake and banana bread are the best!
