My favorite place to work on weekends. They have delicious biscuits and a great environment to sit down with a book or chat with friends.
My favorite place to work on weekends. They have delicious biscuits and a great environment to sit down with a book or chat with friends.
Had a simple breakfast. Very nice presentation and selection of tea. Granola yogurt cup looked beautiful and tasted very good as well ( not too sweet with agave ). Nice way to start the day
Lot of hype for decent food. The food is just like any other place. I dont understand the hype
A++ bakery/cafe. Made from scratch savory biscuit sandwiches ate the must try item with ingredients like caramelized onions, spicy sausage & bacon. Full lunch menu with cocktails. Excellent coffee & loose leaf tea options. Also highly recommend regional desert favorite Chess Pie bar.
Great coffee, delicious breakfast items, great service. Best of all free 2 hour parking right outside...a minor miracle. This place is a find.
Incredible little coffee place with baked goods. Worth the wait
Delicious pastries, great teas and coffees - and they even have happy hour wine! A great place to chill with coworkers after work.
Great atmosphere and mood. casual yet very trendy. Nice place to visit with friends, lover, and family. Only tried coffee, latte, and ice cream sandwich, but loved every single one.
Really good coffee and baked goods. Nice seating options, but no wifi! Would have given 5 stars if they offered wifi.
Thanks to younge professionals, you will wait for a long time to get something. Good coffee and good food. Large space, no wifi. We tried soup and salad. Both were very good. Their breads are also very delicious. Come earlier not to wait long.
Great food and environment, but incredibly strange and disappointing not to offer WiFi to customers.
We tried the blackberry cream cheese pie. Want to go backtrack or ru the breakfast. Plenty of seating indoors and outdoors.
My favorite cafe in DC by far. The sammies are to die for - don't miss them! Gets really crowded on the weekend but can be pretty chill in the evenings and weekdays.
A Baked Joint left me a very good impression my first time there (for breakfast) and I cannot wait to give them another try.
Love this place. Great food. They are a sister store to Baked and Wired with more food available. Try it!
This place is amazing! It's owned by the same people who run Baked & Wired in Georgetown. The baked goods are obviously delicious, but their lunch and dinner options are also very good. It still has a coffee shop hangout vibe like Baked & Wired, but more open and airy.
Their coffee sucks big time. I couldn't finish a small cup of coffee.
Very good baked goods and coffee. Weekend lines can be crazy long but it goes fast. Finding a seat can be difficult, especially when the patio is closed.
Great coffee/espresso drinks but I won't be going back. The first time I attempted a visit, on the weekend, it was extremely busy, every table was packed and the line was super long so I left. The second time I tried this place it wasn't busy at all so I was surprised that service was so slow even though there seemed to be multiple folks available to make drinks.
We re always brings family here when they re coming from out of town. It s our go to brunch place! Love the goat cheese and herb biscuits.
Sandwich was tasty. Atmosphere was good. Everything was well organised. Dessert was delicious.
Amazing food! Great pastries and good coffee! Will definitely be back!
Best biscuits in DC . Except the weekend crowds are too much
Homemade and a good atmosphere! Attention their cookies are really very good so to avoid if you are in full swing!
Popular breakfast spot with fresh baked goods, good health breakfast options and amazing selection of tea. Line moves fast. Worth the wait
This place has great espresso, a good menu, and friendly staff. I appreciated that they take the time to pay attention to details, such as putting ground cardamom on a chai!
A Baked Joint does not miss. If you re looking for a place you can grab breakfast, lunch, dinner etc, this is it. If it s you re first time you can t go wrong with a biscuit Sammie but when I say EVERYTHING on the menu is amazing I m not lying. My go to drink is a Matcha Latte and is one of the best in town.
Good atmosphere, and great teas/coffees, but the staff really rubbed me the wrong way. Aloof and not as helpful as the staff people at similar "premium-priced" coffee shops.
Many other better places in the area.
Bread here for sandwiches is fantastic. Ice tea on tap is a deal.
Omg! Their Sammie is AMAZING. MUST TRY! However there is no wifi!
Great food, great customer service, awesome environment
I drove from North Carolina 9 hour drive mind you to try their NC country ham and egg biscuit. I have no idea what I got. I told the girl clearly I wanted a plain biscuit with country ham and egg on it. I bought two of them for 14 dollars. Again no idea what had. I got some almost done dough biscuit with egg no country ham at all. The egg was good but the biscuit had crazy stuff added in it almost done but not quit. NO COUNTRY HAM. Anyway come to North Carolina and get yall a country ham and egg biscuit before you call yours a North Carolina county ham biscuit. Now what I did eat was good but definitely not what it was made to think of when your planning your trip around a place to eat. It is a GREAT place to do some people watching though.
Cool place with delicious coffees/teas and freshly baked and prepared food. Smoked salmon on a toasted baguette with and roasted capers is my fave.
Great place for coffee and breakfast. Their sammy's are delicious and on the weekend the creme brulee french toast is huge and awesome! Would def recommend
It gets too crowded at peak brunch time. There could be more seating but the food is so worth it.
Best pastries, tea and coffee ! Great spot for breakfast
everything here is very good. best biscuits in DC and biscuit sammys are the best breakfast sandwiches.
I love the BELT and the ice cream sandwiches. Gotta get the pizza on Tuesday or Friday.
Very friendly service and the best bread in town. Always busy on the weekends, so plan to wait in line and take your food to go.
Amazing staff and crew!! Great options for food and beverages. I'm a regular and very fond of this place.
Very tasty sandwiches and many vegetarian options. This place is big and has a lot of comfy seats.
5 star food -5 star for crappy customer service. Last time I went it was great. This time was just so upseting. I understand that they busy, but regardless of how good the food is, and how nice a clean the place is, it would taste horrible after getting yelled at by the person taking your order. This was a horrible experience. That person was just rude and disrespectful. I ended up just leaving without ordering anything.
Fantastic sandwiches! Great service. Friendly staff.
A bit overpriced and pretentious. Would rather just go to Starbucks.
This place was awesome! The biscuits are apparently different each day, but when I was there I had the goat cheese and rosemary biscuit. The rosemary flavor was stronger than I would have expected and I loved it. Do not skip on the tanok toast (definitely spelled that wrong). It was super tasty. Dirty chai and and espresso to drink. Oh, and the quiche was the fluffiest I've ever had.
Great coffee and delicious food. Very friendly staff. A great place to start your day in D.C.
So much seating was the first thing that came to mind. It's nice to find a coffee shop that you can actually sit in. The shop is large and has food, coffee, beer and wine. I came in for coffee and was pleased with my cappuccino. I wasn't a fan of the coffee they use but neither the less it was good. Great spot to be with friends or to work on a project.
A Baked Joint is a wonderful coffee shop with an amazing menu! The drinks, entrees, and desserts all look sublime. I ordered a mango green tea, which was delicious. I really liked the open floor plan and the music. The only thing I'd prefer is more comfortable seating. It's mostly benches and (high quality) plastic chairs. There are only two comfortable couches in the back.
Surprisely big inside and cool space overall. Meat and cheese biscuit breakfast sandwich was delicious. Great cappuccino as well.
They have very small plate so it's difficult to notice it
This is my favorite breakfast place in DC. Tasty Baked & Wired treats sans the ridiculous queue. Their service is also friendly and their prices are reasonable. I just wish they made the seating more practical.
A great spot! Coffee, food, and desserts are all on point. Full of good vibes.
Amazing food, great coffee and a cute space for a meal. Highly recommend.
Not many places in DC offer a good, fast breakfast sandwich but this is my absolute #1 choice. Options for meat-eaters and vegetarians alike. Their breakfast sandwiches are actually savory biscuits cut in half with an egg and some type of delicious spread in between. Coffee/drink selection is also wonderful. And I never leave without getting a bakery item - fresh bread (cardamom was delicious) slice of cake (strawberry shortcake or the smurf flavors are wonderful), or a bar/cookie/ice cream sandwich. They've recently started closing earlier in the day but on certain nights they have jazz or movies playing - check out their social media.
A Baked Joint is a Washington icon. It s a coffee shop, bakery, and restaurant all in one. Everything tastes super fresh. Everything also tastes high quality.
The stand-out items are the biscuits (with egg), the espresso drinks, and the pastries.
Line may be long, but very efficient. Enough time to grab a menu and choose within a wide selection. I recommend the BELT( for breakfast) (bacon egg lettuce tomato) sandwich with mayonnaise. A large sandwich which is delicious. Definitely worth going here for breakfast or brunch.
Charles is a great guy! cool server and very friendly!! has served me multiple times now haha
Awesome coffee and phenomenal biscuits. Chill atmosphere and a lot of space.
They definitely are making DC a bread city! Amazing team. Very knowledgeable and make great breads and coffee. Worth a trip.
Oh my goodness! Just got back from DC a couple weeks ago and had to tell you all about the wonderful experience!
Smells amazing, service was great, Robin, I think that was her name, was very good to my aunt and I, allowing us to take our time in picking out their delicious pastries. I'm planning another trip in the spring, this will be my place to go.
Great local bakery and coffee shop, tons of good breads and sweets.
Quality was a 4, service was a 3 and price was a two. $31 for two lates two samies and 1 scone. Portions were small
GREAT coffee and amazing treats! Had the goat cheese and chive biscuit with an egg - to die for!
Some of the best pastries in the city. The pastries are never dry. Best cookies all around. Very friendly staff. During brunch, they bake the bacon and cheese right into the biscuits. Some of the best bacon, egg and cheese biscuits I've ever had. They also have fantastic coffee and a couple of cold brews on tap.
Great coffee, great baked goods, great vibe. Can't go wrong with this place.
Possibly the best friend green tomato sandwich I have ever had. Getting seating is tough though.
Amazing atmosphere and good food. The only thing that's preventing me from giving it 5 stars is the coffee and egg/cheese biscuit. We ordered a ham/cheese/egg biscuit and an egg/cheese biscuit. After biting into the egg/cheese biscuit, we noticed there was no cheese. We took another bite and still, no cheese. We spoke to an employee who told us that the reason why the ham/cheese/egg biscuit had visible goat cheese and the egg/cheese biscuit didn't was that it's baked into the bread. Apparently, it is just a luck of a draw thing. The coffee (not a special order) was bland, and seemed mass-produced, as if it were for an post-service brunch at a church.
I have yet to try the menu items, but they have tasty baked goods and delicious coffee! I recommend a stop, when downtown. However, on the weekends prepare to wait, as it gets really busy.
Delicious coffee. They still don't seem to have pinned down exactly what kind of place they want to be yet.
Fast service. Clean, modern, and hip style. Awesome relaxing atmosphere. Great for a quick meal, for a meet up, and just to hang out and relax. There's even a spot in the back for more private conversations. Great price for the taste and ambience.
