The 21st Amendment brewery was a lot of fun. Great beers, great service, and will have to go back to test out the food.

First OG to throw up here. Glad to see it around all these years later. Sorry Shaun
Great selection of beers, especially during Strong Beer Month. I especially liked the Two Rivers Cider. The food is pretty typical of brew pubs with a limited selection of anything vegetarian friendly. Also, the noise and the crowding make this less than ideal for going out with friends.
Pretty good brewery restaurant with a selection of house brews for every taste with an emphasis on ales.
This was on my list of places to see while in San Francisco and I'm so glad I did. The beers on tap were enjoyable and the food was delicious. Even the venue itself was cool with seating at traditional tables, the bar, or even a little deck upstairs. Definitely worth a visit.
It's expensive, the attention it's nice, the food regular and extremely hot. The place is very cool.
Everyone is friendly and respectful, beer is great, and so is the food!
We arrived at this PUB thanks to a Google Maps. They offer a wide variety of beers and a meal menu that includes pizzas, barbecued pork ribs, tacos, salads and fish and chips, among other things.
The attention is very cordial, the food takes nothing to arrive and the atmosphere is cheerful and relaxed, with giant screens to watch sports.
If you're a vegetarian, I recommend spinach, arugula, apple, pecan nuts and Parmesan cheese. Delightful!
.
The only constructive criticism I would make of this Pub is that they take care of the cleanliness of the toilets and the kitchen office. Both look very dirty and messy, and that makes a bad impression
Great place to come to before or after a giants game. It'll always be crowded but once you make it to the bar, they have some great beers and their food is also pretty good.
Friendly, very welcoming staff and great brews! Must try the blood orange IPA!!
Love this spot especially during happy hour
Great food and you already know the beer is good!
I would avoid this place during major gamedays as it gets terribly crowded. But if thats your thing go early and grab a seat at the up stairs bar with a view to the TV!
Great beer, great food, cool people, what else could you want.
This place gets packed with regulars when the baseball is on but they sure know how to treat out of towners well! Had a memorable time sipping brews yesterday afternoon, my favourite was the Hop rocks, excellent diverse selection. Staff were wonderful, couldn't recommend enough.
Excellent beer and food. Staff was super friendly and even welcomed us in to peek at the brewery.
A craft beer brewery in San Francisco. There is also a restaurant / bar where you can enjoy several craft beers here. Characterized by beer with high frequency and strong bitterness.
The inside of the store is beautiful and crowded with customers who seem to be mainly locals from noon.
Dont go. Bs. Here 50 minutes before close and they dont serve beer. Thanks for nothing. Why not put 11:00 because they close taps at 11:15. damn never thought I'd miss corporate
Like the vibe here - chill, friendly servers, and nice natural light with high ceilings. Enjoyed our flight, 5 IPAs: Calsaic, Tasty, Tasteful Haze, Blood Orange Brew Free! Or Die, Danksgiving Yams, and a sparkling ale SparkAle. Looking forward to going to their other location in San Leandro for yoga and beer!
Great place, staff was awesome, food was wonderful! Recommend the blue cheese pizza
Great beer, and food. Friendly bartenders, and wait staff.
Love this place! Great location easy access off 101. The Giants game had just ended so it was packed, but we got a table for 2 relatively soon. The hostess was great. The waiter was great. The bus service was very good. I got their sessions IPA which is my go-to beer. My son got the autumn release that was very very good. I ordered the fish and chips substituted for tater tots. The fish was good - the tater tots were great. My son ordered a pizza and it was very good. As before the only downfall is the noise level is very high. The area is relatively free of homeless except under the freeway . Will definitely be back whenever we're in the city
Pretty good micro w/ good bar food. Beers are great of course! Has a nice kind of rustic look to it. Had the Totchos & they were really good!
The menu was extensive for a brewery, and the food was very good. FYI, they do not serve liquor, but they do serve wine.
21st seems a little too squeaky clean, too polished, too contrived for a brewery. It felt more like a chain restaurant than the home of an authentic brewer. Their beers are solid though - the Hell or Highwatermelon brew seems to be the rite of passage that all must try at least once. The food was fresh but my tacos left me wanting in the flavortown department. The fried cheese curds were the best bite of the night with a wonderful breading. I'd come back if I could sit at the bar with friends and have a couple beers, but it won't be a dinner destination for me.
Really fun rotating beer selection, and it's great to try them here because sometimes one is enough of a certain brew (meaning, you wouldn't want a whole 6-pack). Satisfying food, friendly service. Great local spot that gets crowded and rowdy on Giants game days.
The beer is very good. I expecially like their IPA. Their basic hamburger costs 9.75. It was OK however I was expecting something a little bit tastier. If you want cheese or extra toppings they will charge extra. I think they should have more burger options. The decor is nice. Overall this is a good place to have a beer but dont expect a picky eater to be happy.
Good lunch place, although a bit noisy. Plenty of vegetarian options. I haven't actually tried the brews, just the food, but the food is quite good.
Great brewery with a friendly staff, awesome rotating beers and a menu to match!
Enjoyable pub with a large selection of craft beers and some interesting experiments like wheat beer + watermelon. Nice space outside, perfect on a sunny pre-game afternoon
Went there before the Giants game and this place was packed. People inside were kind enough, but the bearded bartender who was working at 6pm on April 9th, was probably one of the least friendly characters I've met in a while. Not sure if his roommate stole his beard moisturizer or if there's just a permanent hampster up his rear, all the same the snatching of the menus out of my hand, and aggressive attitude put me off. The beer was good, and the Ruben alright, but I chose to grab a second beer at a pizza place down the street which was cheaper, quicker, and better customer service.
Great brewery/bar and restaurant is close to Giants stadium, and is with in walking distance from the stadium. The service is good and normally quick, but can be busy on weekends and on game nights. The food is on point, I have never been disappointed with what I ordered. Definitely not your typical bar food. They have a wide selection of beers. But my favorite beer from them is one of the seasonal brews only available during the summer called Hell or High Watermelon. It's is a wheat beer brewed with watermelon. It is my favorite beer made in the bay area. And definitely in my top 3 beers from the states
Fantastic beer selection (who doesn't like the Hell or High Watermelon) so five stars if your going for just the bar. The four stars is for the food which was very good but still a bit limited
Used to love this place but the new menu is very disappointing
Super attentive and friendly staff. Food was delicious and the beer was decent.
Went for great beer, food, atmosphere and a growler. Left with nothing but a $50 tab and a sour taste in our mouths. Service was...I'd say ok, but that's assuming we received service. We were greeted after 5 mins after sitting down at the bar, not busy at all - 4/5 guests at most. We ordered beer and food at the same time. Our appetizer came out with main dish.
Out of the 2 bartenders and 1 floor staff, we were never talked to besides when we arrived. I would've like to explain that the fish n chips were awful and fried to a crisp, but never had a chance. Not even a "how was the meal" or "goodbye". Place has gone way downhill, not sure how it ever made the top ten list just 2 years ago.
Ok, the cheese curds were good, but even that couldn't get me back again. No growlers?! You had one job....
There are a lot of people on weekends, and the peak time of dining is about 20-30 minutes. The food tastes great, the ribs are delicious and the serving size is sufficient. Of course, beer is a signboard, food can be ordered by two people, but beer must be ordered!
Watermelon wheat was good as usual. Services was ok
As an aspiring IPA connoisseur, I've tried over 200 IPAs in the last 5 years. Having only recently discovered the 21st Amendment Blood Orange IPA... I can easily place it in my Top 3 favorite IPAs of all time. Make the pilgrimage and try this seductively delectable citrus ambrosia from the IPA gods for yourself at the source. Defend your constitutional right to DRINK GREAT BEER.
I can't think of a better place before a Giants game....or anytime! One of my favorite brewpubs.
Great place to stop by and have a drink. Hop honey was awesome and staff was ultra friendly. Does get crowded but would go back in a heartbeat. Only regret...should of got a flight because I still wish I tried the chocolate stout and hefe they had.
Great place to grab a beer, especially before a baseball game.
Very good food and great beer! The staff are extremely gracious and attentive without being overbearing.
Conveniently located near AT&T Park, the atmosphere inside is good for sports, a night out, or a quick beer.
I love this place! They keep a great selection of hearty and delightful Belgians, along with a variety of house beers, a guest cider, and decent pub grub. It's not the best food, but it is decent enough and with beer this good, who cares?
I didn't eat anything here but I felt the beer was inconsistent on quality. While there was nothing terrible about the visit, it didn't really make me a fan of their beer either.
Great service, fantastic food and most importantly a amazing rotating beer selection. If you find a beer you can't live without you can take it home with you in a Crowler! Yes, that is a large can filled with a beer of your choice!
Came after a Gaints/Rangers game about 45 minutes before closing. Bartender and waitstaff didn't seem excited to serve us(seemed to be closing out the register a bit early), but we got a pour. Then were rushed to leave by some guy 5 minutes before actual closing time... ok!
Great microbrew. Food not excelent, but above average.
Tasty selection of draft and can . Cuban sandwich isn't as pressed as usual, but tastes great.
It's not uncommon to see 21st Amendment's beer carried in Grocery Stores and Markets in California. Going to the Brewery in SoMa is a nice experience. It can get crowded during Game Days or Happy Hours. It's a fun atmosphere though! Def get the Double IPA or Watermelon Wheat Beer. Their food is pretty mediocre, but will do for a quick bite.
The beer selection is great and the food is good also. The Hell or High Watermelon is a nice light beer, the Down to Earth is a really good Session IPA, and the Brew Free or Die IPA is a more traditional west coast IPA.
21 Amendment is a pretty good place to go for a beer and a burger. The bar and dinning room were packed when we got there, but managed to get a table right away. I had "El Cubano" which was very good but the main attraction of this place is the beers. And what can I say about the beers, I've had plenty of experience with this brewery in DC as all the bars have at least one of 2 of their brews there, and they did not disappoint. Great California IPA. I would definitely go back here for a beer and a burger.
Good selection of beers. Did the 6 strong beer sampler. Staff was nice beers we're good but not as good as the ones in RVA.
Good beer selection, but the space lacks charm and the food is so- so. OK for a beer after work.
Always too crowded to sit so -1 star, but great when you get there.
Had the flight. Good beers, but nothing extraordinary. Beef stew was tasty, but the meat was mealy.
Decent burger. Could be a bit more atmospheric. Lots of beer options.
A fun place to hang out and sample their tasty beers. It gets super crowded on game days so I tend to avoid it at those times. I went on a sunny day (WHAT? I know!) and it was great to sit outside and taste the sampler.
One of the best breweries in the Bay. As like everyone here, I'm a huge fan of the Hell on High Watermelon brew. Buffalo wings were on point just like the beers on tap. You can do no wrong in this establishment.
The watermelon beer is the best! It is very refreshing. The food was decent, but just your typical bar food, nothing too memorable. I would only go back for the watermelon beer. I went after work around 630pm on a Wednesday and it was packed because people like to go watch Giants games there. Beware of increases in parking meter rates and lack of parking spaces during these events.
A perfect place to go to before a Giant's game. I'm glad they're doing well. Good selection of beer and decent bar food options.
Not too far from AT&T Park. Worth the short walk for a casual beer & burger. Good menu options.
Good food, service, and prices. I had the fish and chips; the fish and fries were both a bit undercooked
I went before a Giants game. They had the side sidewalk area and part of the street roped off so it wasn't too crowd. A good place to grab a drink prior to the game.
Terrible service by Sylvia!
She don t deserve work in the nice place!
Go fish SYLVIA!!!!
One of my favorite brewery's in SF. Their beer is top notch and the food here tends to be really good too. The sampler is great, but the service could use a little work. They tend to get super busy, but they have expanded outdoor seeing to help with that now. Doesn't matter if you live here or are just visiting come check out some of the best beer made in SF!
Good pregame spot for a giants game with a beer patio and decent food. A little pricy for the beers but I guess that's normal in soma these days.
The food was great and it had a chill environment. I ate a burger and some fries
Really good food. Good service. Good beer. Fun atmosphere.
Beer was good . Prices were terrible. $8 Beer at a brewery is stupid. I will never go back. I can buy a whole six pack of their beer for $8. What are they thinking. I'm at Faction today, $5 pints. And way better. Get a clue 21st.
