I highly recommend New Start Recovery Solutions. The owner David Burke is a fantastic human being. When it comes to helping you with your addiction recovery he s second to none. He listens, he understands, he has empathy, but most of all he cares about you and your problems. He won t force or suggest anything that he doesn't believe in himself. He talks to you with great understanding and interest in your personal hardships. One of the main qualities he has is that he s definitely not overbearing or unsympathetic to your needs. He listens intently to everything that you say and never suggests things that you don t feel are right for you. Just talking to him for a few minutes on the phone will make you feel great. I will continue to have David Burke in my life and listen to what he has to say.

Over the last 16 years, I ve been to multiple treatment centers both as a client and as a supportive family member. Rarely have I experienced a symbiosis of care, quality of facilities, and professionalism like my little brother was provided at New Start. From our initial phone conversations, to intake, and now his continued care - the journey has gone as smoothly as humanly possible. There are always surprises along the way and a program s ability to morph in stride is critical. New Start rolled with the punches and included our family as well as his therapist at home. This is one of the best programs around. Period.

I found this company to be very educational about what substance abuse is and how to best approach my son with his addiction. They stood by me and helped me guide my son into treatment. 9 months ago my wife entered New Start Recovery. She had been battling major addiction for approximately 10 years. However the last 2 years of her addiction had really taken their toll. We were homeless and could not provide for our children. We saw no light at the end of the addiction tunnel. We were blessed and have a loving family that reached out to New Start Recovery Solutions on our behalf.

My mother in-law was able to seamlessly set-up her intake, get her the proper medication for her detox, and get her in to see a doctor in 2 days. It all happened so fast! They even drove to our location and picked her up. She has been clean for a little over 9 months.

Now she lives in Oroville in one of their SLE's. This program has helped us find housing, write to the courts, helped locate jobs for us and even still currently drive us to our jobs.

For anyone looking for a New Start (see what I did there) I recommend with all my heart putting your faith in this program. They saved mine and my wife's life and most importantly gave us the ability to provide the life our children deserve.

I feel like this is the place to gain a solid foundation and good grasp of addiction what it does and how to overcome. This place has staff who truly care and go the distance with you.

The staff here is on call at all hours, and is truly remarkable in both care and staying punctual. Patients requiring medicine were promptly and professionally managed, these nurses truly do work hard and care. I personally enjoyed the weekly meditation and yoga classes. Also, the personal chef preparing every meal really helps. I appreciated the directors personal attention to all manners, which showed me even from the top- the entire staff cares.

I recently toured New Start Recovery Solutions and I was so impressed with the atmosphere. Everyone was so nice and it is a beautiful environment. I was welcomed by all staff and all of my questions answered. I strongly recommend this treatment facility for yourself or loved ones.
