I could sound totally bias but I love the beer and this place is amazing. First the decor fits right in with the rest of the neighborhood. The food was great, had three different things off the menu nothing was horrible. Atmosphere was happening the place was packed full of people everyone seemed to just belong here. The staff were hard to pick out of the crowd I really wish they wore a 21st Amendment shirt that was unique only to staff. I accidentally another guest for some napkins.

The beers they only serve their beers so if you don't like their beers do not come here and ask for a Miller Lite.

Bottom line GO!

Stopped by for a brew and lunch with the family. Met Steve who was very friendly and inviting. The Octoberfest was might tasty. The family agreed the food was good as well. Ended up taking 4 pints of Octoberfest and 4 pints of the Stout home. Will be back!

Great food, got the cheese curds, totchos and BBQ chicken pizza. The cheese curds batter blew me... With delicious chipotle sauce. The totchos, oh so fresh and tasty; fresh Pico de Gallo crispy with cheese. The pizza had interesting crust, but nice and thin with good proportions.

21 A was the go to place for happy hour after work. They brew their own beer (also available at your local store). Their IPA is a favorite among my co-workers; as for me, I prefer wheat, so get the watermelon beer. The venue can get very busy when the Giant's are playing in town.

One of my favorite breweries before I got a chance to visit and they exceeded my expectations after going. Excellent and relaxing atmosphere, friendly staff, and delicious selection. If you don't try the hell or high watermelon or they don't have it available when you go, you messed up buddy. Who knew beer could taste this good?!

Large selection of top quality San Francisco craft beers. The food and snacks are also delicious, in particular the "tachos" and the tater tots. Great place to watch the big sports game of the night as well, as there are plenty of TVs.

Not the experience I hoped for, food average, service amature, and food ... Wow bar food with a price tag that is outrageous! I would not recommend anyone to eat there beer is good ...but they even tried to add extra drinks on the check making uncomfortable to tell them hey you guys did a mistake ! I am very much offended and with enevr go back ..F that place

The atmosphere is good but at busy times, if you are looking for place to eat as well as a beer then forget it. There are not enough tables and the food served is definitely not fare that can be eaten standing without a place to put your plate down. Also, the beer list is almost exclusively IPA brews. If you are not a big fan of the bitter sometimes harsh taste of these Ales, then another establishment with a wider choice would be a better bet for you.

Visited 21st Amendment prior to attending a Giants game. Enjoyed a couple different beers, including their well-known Hell or High Watermelon. Good overall beer selection. We had a couple of different pizzas that we liked. It is definitely a popular spot before the game, and we were happy to get seats on the upper floor since the place filled up rather quickly. Also...big thanks to Steven, one of the staff, who recognized our NC gear and bought us a beer, since he is from Raleigh.

We stopped in after a Giants game and were pleasantly surprised by the beers that we had. I got the Watermelon Funk and my husband got the Keen Bean, which were both delicious. We've had Hell or High Watermelon before and found it to be eh for our tastes, but we really enjoyed these beers at the tap house. I also really enjoyed the tail end of their beer garden outside to enjoy a beautiful San Francisco day.

Love this place. Have been coming for >5 years; I'm pretty sure AT&T Park wasn't here when I first started. Beers are on point and tasty. The brewery is on-premise and really small - though they do have an off-site location to deal with demand. You can now get fresh-canned beer. 32 oz poured at the bar then immediately can it.

Service is superb, the beer is delicious. The food is 50/50. One day it's great the next its not so great especially at the price they charge.. not worth it for the food. But I'd you're looking for beer then 5 star, food I wouldn't spend the price they ask for the food a 3rd time.

Maybe I'm the only one not won over by this place, but it's not much of an actual "brewery". It's definitely got more of a brewpub feel and is way too crowded all the time to be comfortable. It's close to the ballpark and a bit mainstream for a craft brewery in SF such that a lot of tourists visit and tie up all the tables. Their menu items aren't spectacular, but their beers are a good lead in to what craft beers really are. As a bit of a beer snob, I'm not entirely won over by their beers, but it's palatable for the general public and a big step up from Bud/Miller/Coors.

Not a bad place to get a local craft brew although most of the beers are down the middle on flavor and ABV. You won't find anything incredibly interesting or original and if you come on game day it might be borderline obnoxious but still a reasonable place to get a beer and a pizza.

Since this bar is located in SOMA it tends to be a fave amongst the happy hour crowd. The drink selection is mostly beer but they have wine as well.

I usually order the Watermelon wheat beer. I haven't really tried the other beers. I would recommend this place for meeting with friends since it's a large space and pretty easy parking unless there's a Giants game.

If you wanted to meet people, it's pretty hard since most people go there in groups and is pretty cliquey. There are better bars to go to for meeting new people.

Rating the beer mostly. Came here cause i loved the blood orange beer but have to say the others didnt live to its quality at all. Most of them tasted like failed home brews. Cherry wheat was bland, Watermelon was bland, Keen Been was watery (yes there is coffee flavour but that is not difficult to achieve), Henrik imperial stout had no malt complexity and too much residual sugar. If you care for quality craft beer i wouldn't come here, otherwise it seemed like an enjoyable place.

Most people are familiar with 21st Amendment beer because it's sold in stores but there are many that you can only get at the restaurant, including the favorite watermelon beer. There are two levels to the restaurant and you can reserve the upper floor for large parties. The bar is usually crowded but the bartenders do a pretty good job getting to everyone. Food here is decent and basically just like any other American pubs.

Great place for a beer and service.

Came to 21st amendment for dinner. Wasn t very crowded and was shown to our seats pretty quick.

Ordered a fish and chips and a burger. Both were done well and we loved it very much.

My partner made an accident by spilling the beer and the waitress immediately replaced it. Another waiter helped to clean the area immediate. Great service. keep it up guys.

Great place to grab a beer with friends or alone. They have ample amount of seating and great beers ever changing. Definitely a place to spend a few hours. I tried there flight tasting if 6 beers which allows you to really get to understand there brewing processes. Highly recommended.

21st is well known for their Hell or High Watermelon, Brew Free or Die, and a few other beers, but you can get some special stuff at their restaurant that I've not seen elsewhere. The food is surprisingly good for what I expected to be a simple brewpub.

I ve lived in London, Hong Kong, New York (no need to add City),...and found a great local in each. After 18 months of searching and comparing, I found 21st Amendment and it s now my local in San Francisco. Try the Half Rack with cole slaw, fries, and a craft brew (or slaw and slaw to cut bad carbs); or the Southwest Salad (slow cooked carnitas!) with a lite brew for an even healthier option! Then ask Emmy, the friendliest server in the city for a Banana Split for dessert (you deserve it)! Always a great crowd whether you re there for the game or just for an after work pint or two...

SERIOUS quality control issues. Bought two six packs in a week of blood orange. In both cases, one of the beers was underfilled and the can was undrinkable. Scary! The other beers were good but I almost threw away the whole six pack both times because of the bad can.

Best fish and chips I ever had. Perfectly cooked, presentation attractive and just the right amount of food. Or was it the beer perfectly brewed and presented fantastically. Either way you can't go wrong. If you never been there try this for lunch and judge for yourself.
Born in 56' and grew up in San Francisco.
Try this place!!!

Always fantastic brews, and a hit whenever I bring friends there. I'm consistently visiting this place for good beers, and I'll go again and again for drinks.

I've tried their burgers a couple of times, tho, and I'm not convinced. Once the meat was overcooked / too dry, another time the whole thing was too salty.

Service is variable. Seems to depend quite a bit on which waiter you end up with his/her current mood.
