Great assortment of beer and the food was excellent. It was also surprisingly easy to get a table here on a random night that we went.

Great beer, good and affordable food. The buffalo chicken pizza with bleu cheese is off the hook.
I have pretty endless love for 21st Amendment.
Great beers - locally made, varying from light to dark. Some of my favorites are the Brew Free or Die, Back in Black, and Bitter American.
Decent food - not the best you've ever had, but pretty good for pub food, and reliable if nothing else.
Full bar - when beer isn't good enough.
Beer garden - for the three days a year SF is sunny.
Friendly service, fun happy hours, awesome open space, clever name. This might be my favorite SF brewery. I definitely recommend stopping in.
*UPDATE: no longer full bar. Sad face.
I like a number of the beers here, though I don't love any of them. Service experience hasn't been great, but it's so close to the Giants that it's hard not to return.
Located right near AT&T park, this is a great place to drop in and have some good beers before or after a game
Limited menu on a game day but the beer and appetizers are good.
I've been coming to 21st Amendment for years and have brought friends. Always a good time, good food and beer.
The Hell or High Watermelon is a really refreshing and good beer!
I was in the SoMa area and wanted to stop by just to try the beer. They have a bunch of other CA themed beers with unique flavors. The place is pretty loud so its difficult to have a decent conversation. I ended up also trying the clams and mussels, which were disappointing in amount and flavor. Nothing too special about the menu otherwise.
I see this as a cool place to grab a beer on a weeknight in SF. Besides the watermelon beer though, not too much to come here for.
The servings are huge and the food is ok. Their pizza is supposed to be good, but dairy and I don't get along so I've only had their burgers and non-cheesy dinners, all of which have been ok, but not great.
beer is good, not exceptional. food is good, also not exceptional.
Brought here by a friend who lived in the area...so delish! I will def repeat next time I'm in town. We ordered 2 different dogs and a side of chili cheese tots. What was awesome was the bun was shaped so that you could nicely cute and share the dogs! ( so they were almost like hot dog sliders). Very clever and it makes it do easy to share!
These people make great beer, often stored in my fridge. This place is a good bar.
I like this place. It's a sports bar. They have good beer, good food, but lets face it, most people go to watch the game. The atmosphere is cheer-some, the space is open, and the place makes for a fun afternoon.
I came here with a group of people from work. We had made the reservation about a week earlier for 8 of us at 6pm. We had training that day and realized we would actually be able to make it to dinner earlier. We tried calling the restaurant, but no one answered.
Beer was amazing ! Food was great! Service was spotless... what else can you ask for ??? Must try
Fantastic place to visit. The food was impressive and not what I expected from a brewery
Lots of local beer selection and good small bites and food. Pretty loud atmosphere as you would expect of such a place with a young crowd. The ribs were fantastic and so were the fish n chips and beer sampler. Not the cheapest place but that's typical of SF and SOMA. Definitely worth a try if you're in the area.
I am a HUGE fan of the brews (house and guest) that the 21st Amendment keeps on tap. Back in Black, and Brew Free or Die are some of my favorites. The dinner menu at the brewhouse is good, but they really shine with their brunch menu. Stop in for a late breakfast before an early afternoon Giant's game and you will not be disappointed.
We sat upstairs where it's self serve and the TV's are a ample. Going up to the counter to order is a little odd, but our food came ridiculously quickly which was well appreciated. I had the breakfast pizza (decent) and the watermelon beer (excellent).
The service and somewhat crowded tables are the only things keeping this place from getting five stars in my mind.
I've came here with family about 6 times. Great food and beer.
Seating staff have been a little short and rude on a couple of occasions.
Enjoyable food, great quality beer. Let down by awful desert. Really awful brownie with cheap ice cream and cream out of a can. Can't believe that they can provide such good food and beer and fail to epic proportions with desert.
So add two stars if you don't want desert.
Great beer, ambiance and food! Always a good time at 21st amendment, whether you're having bar bites or a meal. Great wait staff too!
Big fan of 21st on the east coast and this place did not dissapoint. The food was great as well.
Good beer and food is good. Could offer more beers on tap. Probably not worth going out of your way, but good if you are in the hood.
Great beers and a superb wagyu burger with a "choose your own topping" selection. For a beer geek this is a excellent place, a handfull of unique local beers with inspiration from all over the world.
Absolutely awesome selection of brews they make. Not Russian River Valley quality, but damn good. Food is also above average, but not in the great or amazing category. Despite very high turnover when games are on (near the park), or loaded with techies; the staff do a great job of getting you food + drinks.
This place is the best. Affordable beers, nice space, in a great bit of town. I love it.
The blood orange IPA is incredible! But I've never seen anyone else drink it, not as flashy as the hell or high watermelon with its little watermelon slice I guess but for my money the best summer beer I have ever had.
Great beer and bar food. Service was also happy and energetic. Will be back next time I visit the bay area.
Bitter American won broad at gabf! Met an owner, just amazing Guy with great beers. Tried three, all slam dunks.
We went on a weekend when it was surprisingly not crowded at all. It s nice that you can relax with your dogs at the outdoor seating but the service was not great. They don t come take any orders or come check on us. They also didn t seem to get the right order for us but without any apologies.
I like this place just fine. It's a little far away and it gets super crazy during sporting events, so I don't make it out too often. I went the other day because my friends and I wanted some greasy food and good beers. The beers were good (duh, I should hope so) but I couldnt even finish my bloody mary (too much cheap vodka? weird mix? unsure) and our food was just so-so. We got some apps (wings & onion rings) which were great but my salad was incredibly lackluster. Take home message: come for beers and apps and forgo trying to be healthy.
Long-time fan of the beer, finally got to stop by in person. Everything we had was fresh and delicious. Staff was attentive and patient through our many questions.
Another stop on our brewery tour of SF. This was ok, it was a little bit devoid of character, a lot of the area is given over to eating. Food was so-so and the beer was a little uninspiring. Better options available in town
I was very happy with the food quality, the timing and delivery of all the dishes and the attentiveness of the staff. It's easy to see why this place is successful. I'd recommend the gumbo and the half rack. Bath were delicious
Alright, this is a long awaited review. This is a must try brewery and of course you must try the Russian river. Surprisingly, their pizzas so good, loved it.
Small microbrew in SOMA. A bit out of the way, but also a bit fun. Great beers and a good atmosphere. Always friendly folks nearby.
hi im Morgan and im asking if i can get a vacancy it your working place...
All the way from Philadelphia where we have plenty of gastropubs and crazy good beers. 21 Amendment feels like home but with the warm California sun and cool bay breeze. Not only do they have amazing brews on tap like the 10% Big DIPA or the 11% Sailor's Warning but their fresh fish tacos and brownie sundae are worth thowin' down for. Expect greatness from 21st Amendment. Anything less would unconstitutional.
The food is good. The ambiance is nice. The servers are fairly unattentive. They have amazing beers but don't expect a warm experience from servers.
I have not been to the brewery, but have tried the beers and have not had a bad one! I'm not a fruit-beer guy but Hell or High Watermelon... WOW! What a great summer beer! My wife introduced me to 21st Amendment beer by bringing home a pack of Fireside Chat and it was love at first taste and smitten ever since!
Cool place and beer, just know they won't do a flight of beer on game day.
Good beer selection and reasonable prices, for downtown SF anyways
GREAT veggie burger and the watermelon beer was fantastic.
The Hell or High Watermelon beer is one of my favorites although all of 21st Amendment's brews are amazing. Hungry? The food selection is also pretty good and the ballpark is a quick walk away.
The blood orange beer is the best I have had in SG this week.
A fun brewpub with great food and tasty selection of craft beers.
Great service and beer. Got the crispy bahn mi which wasn't great. Stale bread and bitter veggies. Would come back for beer but will avoid food.
Yummy burger (The Marker), not so great salad (Southwest), and great beer (blood orange). Attention was good too.
Bell is in the house. Amazing service at this brewery, and great selection of beers. They have various food vendors so you can also catch a bite or bring your own food.
I lived in the city five years ago and loved 21st. The food was great, service was attentive, and the beer to die for. To say they've slipped is an understatement. The beer is still amazing, but service and food quality was awful.
They were busy, and I understand that can be tough, but hearing, "what do you want?", as the initial greeting from the hostess is unacceptable. All of the wait staff looked like they just rolled out of bed. The only thing that set them apart from a patron was their apron. I felt as my being there was an inconvenience to the staff.
The cherry on top was my terrible, over priced Cubano. $13 for a bland grilled sandwich that was cold in the middle, the cheese wasn't melted at all, the predominant flavor was yellow mustard, and the moisture less roasted pork didn't have any flavor. It came with frozen french fries and an oily under dressed side salad.
The beer was great (the only reason why I gave 2 stars), but not enough for me to go back. There's a hundred different places with great beer, good food, and staff that's happy to have me.
Lovely flights, nice staff, big portions of food and lovely food
Cool spot, but seating can be a bit crowded during happy hour unless you order food. Only when you order food can you sit at the tables on the back.
A small brewery.
You can enjoy a hamburger at noon and craft beer at night. Delicious. Delicious! ! !
Go for the beer! The food is underwhelming, so go for a pint or two and plan to nosh somewhere else! The ambiance is great and the staff were very friendly and helpful.
Good food & beers, kitchen open outside typical hours which meant I could grab a 4pm lunch
Good watering hole to watch sports at, but can get really crowded (standing room only) during popular games. Nothing phenomenal on the food menu, but everything is decently cooked and usually hits the spot as an accompaniment to your beer.
Great spot for a casual dinner. Avoid it on game days though -- because of its proximity to AT&T Park, it gets packed.
some of the best beers in cans, good location to pregame before a Giants game out on their patio
The beer here is fantastic. Get a flight and sample them all!
We had a wonderful dinner, great building and architecture. Staff could have been a little friendlier.
Kasi(Kasandra) made this experience so great! This was my 1st time and she gave me great suggestions. She spoke to us with a smile the whole time! Her customer service is IMPECCABLE!!! I enjoyed the food and the vibe was great! Definitely will be returning. THANK YOU KASI !!!
Good food, a step up from normal bar food.
Friendly helpful staff. Great beer.
Got there @11:23 on a Saturday wanted to have a drink... bartender told us she had done last call ... even though it says they close ad midnight... Seemed like she just wanted to be out... Very disappointing
Amazing pit stop close to stadium either before or after baseball game.
Beers are awesome..staff totally engaging despite the volume. GM runs a great ship.
Dont miss out on your next trip.
Keep up the good work!!!
Great burgers and beer! Oktoberfest is highly recommended!
It's too damn loud! Stay home! Unless you like great beer brewed on site at 1of California's premier brew houses.
Love the beer, and the atmosphere of the place is just right for a brewery/restaurant. Can be a little crowded at times, if anything.
Good overall. The beer is good, not exceptional. Not a ton of space to enjoy a beer if you are not getting a meal.
The bartender here when I arrived was awesome.
But the guy here now seems like he can t be bothered with anyone. He keeps leaving the bar, and when here can t be bothered to say hi, thank you, what would you like....
Great place with good food and great beer. Expect it to be full to the brim when a game is on.
Food was delicious, excellent beer selection, and even a cider. They have a gluten free menu, but beware, they do not have a dedicated fryer.
Finally, I've been drinking this beer for over a year now and to finally be here at the brewery is amazing! I'm not local, I live in Southern California. But the beer and food here is top game! The service is 100% great and the food is WOW! The beer speaks for themselves! My favorite, Hell or High Watermelon Wheat is even better from the tap then the can! Lol!
No liquor, limited tables, inattentive waitresses. Not the best spot in SOMA for good beer and atmosphere.
The place has a very cozy feel to it. Sat at the bar, had amazing fish and chips and their beers are amazing. Service is amazing, you can sample any beer before you order. Place is super clean and I would come back there in a heartbeat.
Beer good, food ok, had the chicken sandwich, not impressed, dry and not spicy at all. Fried cheese balls delicious.
Excellent brew pub in the SOMA/South Beach area. The beer selection is amazing with a huge selection of in house brews and some quite strong IPAs. The food selection seemed quite standard for a pub, although I only had appetizers (plate of wings and plate of ribs for about $25 was a snack/small meal for two).
It can get quite busy post Giants games, but if you get there before the ninth innings you should be able to get a seat.
Great charcuterie board but beer is a hit or a miss. Love the Hell High or Watermelon so had high expectations going in.
Came here to watch the Champions League final when I was visiting San Francisco (apparently the chef is a big football fan, and this allowed me to watch the full game even if, gosh, a Giants match started halfway through!). Tried two of their beers, both great quality and served at perfect temperature. In the meanwhile the bar filled with a chatty crowd, and the atmosphere was very nice.
If you are gonna charge the prices you charge your offerings better damn well be decent. They were not. Soggy undercooked fries, cold over cooked burger for a mere $18? Sorry I came here but I know now to not come back.
Ever since I had my first Brew Free! or Die IPA from 21st Amendment, I've wanted to visit their bar/restaurant. Once work brought me to San Francisco, I made the trip.
The atmosphere is good, it's a lively space without being loud or busy. The staff was friendly and the brews were excellent. I didn't have anything to eat, but the menu had several items that looked promising. I've had a number of their different brews over the years and I haven't had a bad one yet-they make great beer.
I have to commend this brewery for their gold standard IPA named Blah, Blah, Blah...Well, it s not Blah at all, just the best beer I ve ever tasted!!
