Tate's Day Camp is by far the most professional, interactive, and educational summer camp in the Greater Knoxville area! The staff are superb and their dedication to excellence is unwavering!

I don't know any one who goes here, but all I can complain about is how annoying they are to listen to all day. Especially the workers that yell the same to things every five seconds. I come outside hoping for silence but I look at my front yard and the first thing I see are a bunch screaming kids going down a zipline. The least they could do is have the courtesy to build a fence for privacy. You would think a place like this would be somewhere in the mountains, and you could probably learn a lot more things there, but no, its surrounded by a busy road and buildings. I'm just not feeling it. At this very moment I am listening to people bark like dogs, and they do not sound like kids.

There is truly no other daycamp in Knoxville we would have allowed our son to attend more so than Tate's Day Camp. Our son attended every Summer from age 4 to 11. The staff quickly became part of our extended family. Every hour of the day was carefully planned with such professionalism, love and concern for the child to grow, to explore and develop lifelong passion to love nature and explore creativity.

Tate's daycamp is amazing every year. My daugher has gone 3 years now and starts asking when she will get to go again, at least, 6 months in advance every year. The kids are outside most of the day every day, swim two times a day, play in the woods and (best part for any parent) are thoroughly worn out when you pick them up! :) The staff are extremely nice and always very helpful and take great care of your kid(s). HIghly recommend Tate's Day Camp!

You could search high and low for the rest of your life and never find a day camp better than Tate s. I grew up attending the camp as a camper (started at age 7) and eventually became a summer employee from the time that I was 16 until I was 22, in college at the University of Alabama. Coming home for summers to work was one of the best parts of my college-aged experience. The intentional and educated care and leadership that both campers and staff receive here are unparalleled. I have life-long friends and mentors from this program and I couldn t trade them for the world. I m already excited to send my future children to Tate s Day Camp.

I have been going to Tate's since I was in 5th grade. This is now my 3rd year attending, and I love this place so much. The counselors understand everything and are really good with the kids. If there is a bullying issue, they will take care of it. All the kids here are nice and want to enjoy their time here just like any other camper would. I am sad to be growing up and leaving here because I'll be going to high school after this coming year :( I recommend coming here because there is a variety of things to do and the staff is great. There are plenty of green and foresty acres to enjoy!

We just moved back to Knoxville after 11 years. My 5 year old loves this camp so much. It is his first camp ever, and he is already asking if he can 'go to camp every day.' He falls asleep instantly every night. I love the fact that he gets swim lessons. Great camp, highly recommend. Yes, it is pricey, but the campus and the experience are worth it, whether you go one week or can swing multiple weeks.

My son went to Tate's five summers in a row and I can't say enough about how he loved it. From the excellent, attentive staff to the unreal number of activities to the other kids who attend, this camp creates a family. It's well worth the expense. I'd recommend multiple weeks if you can swing it so that friends can be made and traditions formed.
