Fantastic atmosphere and a selection of beers to suit. With regards to food, the cheese curds are highly recommended TO SHARE (beware the generous portion sizes, especially if you're getting some other items!) Ribs, pizzas and everything else was extremely tasty, as well as being served speedily by extremely nice staff.

This is a great restaurant and brewery. I like the reuben sandwich or fish and chips. My favorite beers are the Elizabeth St Bitter, Gold Medal Maibock, and El Sully. For desert, try the Chocolate Pudding Stout.

Finally made it here just prior to them going nationwide distribution. Was packed on a week night but we found a spot at the upstairs bar for 3 people and then fired through taster sizes of half their draft list.

Delicious salad, good service, but deceptive "SF Employee Mandate" added to bill without notice

THUMBS UP:
- Decent ambiance, not too loud
- Delicious fried-chicken cobb salad!
- Water refilled regularly

THUMBS DOWN:
- Dishonesty of adding an undisclosed, unnecessary surcharge to the bill without notice ("SF Employee Mandate"). If restaurants are intent on passing through increases in employee compensation, they should increase the menu prices (so my salad would be $16.64 instead of $16). I mean, what next, an "Energy Surcharge" or "Chicken Price Increase surcharge?"

I'm a huge fan of locally brewed beer, and the beer here is consistently good. What always surprises me is how good the food is. Both the pizza and the burgers are surprisingly good for a brew pub. It gets super crowded on game days, so I don't go as often as I would like, but whenever I find myself heading there I am glad that I did.

Don't know how good their beer is, but their babyback ribs left much to be desired. Its one of the worst ribs I've had at such an establishment. It wasn't completely inedible, but it was way too tough and I found myself not wanting to finish it, and I really like ribs. For a place like this, I expected better. That's what I get for ordering ribs at a place famous for their beer I suppose.

Usually this is my go to place as I work right down the street but on two separate occasions now I have order food and it has been forgotten and the customers after me got their food and left. It shouldn t take an hour for a cup of chilli. Plus they didn t even offer any kind of customer service gesture to make up for the extra long wait and I don t understand why this is happening. It s extrenely disappointing and I don t think I will be coming back any more.

Really great changing selection of beer, a good food menu, and plenty of space.

It's nice and easy to turn up here as a group and get a table, as long as the Giants aren't playing.

This is one place I go back to fairly regularly.

Ordered club sandwich with a side salad. The club sandwich was made with aged Oscar Meyer deli meat, soggy bacon, and stale bread. Salad consisted of wilted lettuce that should not have been served for three days. Also ordered the chicken wings, which were pedestrian at best and you only get 6 for $13. Advise spending your $30 at an establishment that cares about the quality of their food.

Hell or High watermelon beer, Brew Free or Die IPA, and Back in Black IPA - take your pick. Great place to meet for a drink with friends. The front bar is usually pretty packed, but don't be deterred; there's also a decent mezzanine area upstairs in the back. They also open up an outdoor mini beer garden-esque area during giants game days.

Good local brewery, with awesome beers! The only drawback was that the watermelon wheat beer is a seasonal beer. I ordered the burger, which was average -- served with french fries and a side salad. There are not a ton of TV's here for games, I believe one at the bar in front, and 3 upstairs.

Stopped in on the way out of town after a long flight. We all tried a couple different beers and each one was delicious. Food was good too but, seemed a little overpriced. The steak quesadilla was perfection and the Reuben was the perfect fall snack. We got there with 10 minutes until kitchen close and they were so kind to let us order and shut the place down before we hit the road. Would absolutely go back.

To start off the beer is excellent. The selection has something for everyone. The food could use some work. Our plates came too far apart from each other. Our sides were the same, but different quality. The services could use work as well. The place was dead, but it seems like we were being rushed. Water stopped being served once the food was finished.

Intensely average. The beer is just ok and the food couldn't be more boring. With so many genuinely interesting choices in SF I can't imagine going out of my way to come here. We came here one night because it was the only thing open in the area and after a few minutes decided to call it a night instead. Seriously disappointing.

This place gets really crowded if there is a game on at the ballpark so make sure you check ahead. The beer is good, but it's mostly stock 21st Amendment brews that you can get most other places. That doesn't make them less tasty, just not overly different from other places that are less crowded and, at times, have less pretentious clientele. The bar staff can also be pretty surly when the place is really packed. Give it a go if you like 21st Amendment beers or haven't tried them before.

I love coming here on Giants game days. The bartenders know I only get cider and they're very prompt. The food is great bar food. I recommend the tots. So crispy yet still has so much potato flavor.

Burger was tasty but not cooked as ordered (overcooked). Staff didn't check on us after serving food so we couldn't tell them about this. Excellent very crunchy onion rings, hell or high watermelon is a good drink, very subtle watermelon flavor.

I really enjoyed this place. It has a great bustling vibe with two levels of seating areas. We chose to sit up on the upper level so we could peer down to the rest of the crowd. The upper level also has a bar for you to order from or the waitress comes by to take your order as well. The food was very tasty too, we ordered just some appetizers to go with our beer, and I have to say that the beer battered onion rings were delicious! I also loved the fact that it was set off the beaten path and so it was really easy to find parking, but being that it's near the ball park, it might not be so easy on game days.

Nothing wrong with this place or their brews as far as I'm concerned. It may not be the new hot spot, but I gone a handful of times over the years and always left happy. Great atmosphere and great brews.

The venue is nice. If you have a decent sized party expect a wait. We waited 25 minutes for a table for 8 people. The beer is decent, but not great. The pizza I ordered wasn't that great. Decent place. Fairly pricey.
