I grew up in Hudson, WI, about 20 mins from the Ellsworth Co-p Creamery. I've eaten hundreds, maybe a thousand, pounds of their cheese curds in my life. This brewery in San Francisco has the best version of them I've ever had. Nothing else about this place matters - this is the best restaurant in town because of those cheese curds.

Great selection of beer! Make sure on game days this bar gets really crowded. On game days they lay out tables outside as well. Definitely a must go. It's more like the heartland brewery.

Service was speedy and the beers on tap were awesome, although the selection is not the widest I've ever seen.

The food is your typical brewpub fare. As a strict vegetarian, I especially appreciated the option to add vegan soy chicken on some entrees or substitute an Impossible patty on any burger.

The space is small with a cozy ambience. My party of 4 had no trouble getting a table on a Saturday night, but I could see it getting way too crowded during a Giants game with the stadium so close by.

Overall, I would definitely recommend this place as a great brewpub if you're in the area!

Was in town for vacation and was staying at the Marriott Downtown. Food was good. We had the Cuban and fish tacos. Service was a bit absent-minded, but at the same time they were nice enough. The beer was really good, and I would definitely go back.

Went here to watch the Giants game and grab a bite. Service was excellent (we're from out of town and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful in answering our questions)
Burger wad cooked to perfection and my husband loved the chili and wings (dry jerk chicken)! Their craft beer (according to my husband) was excellent! Put this on your list of places to eat!

The Calamari appetizer was delicious. I didn't have a main course, but otherwise the Monk Brew was great and so was the atmosphere. The overall quality of the food was high and I would come back here again.

The food was very good and the staff was very nice. A bit pricey but on par for the area and establishment. The 4 star is because my medium burger didn t even have a hint of pink but the flavor was still great.

Good beer, good food and good atmosphere! The service can be a hit or miss tho, in my humble opinion. Some days I get fast and awesome service; other times I could sit and wait for 10-15 min before my server even showed up to take my drink order and then another 10 min before ordering my food. I avoid this place like the plague during game season bc it gets insanely packed and rowdy.

Always a good experience here. One of the best breweries in San Francisco, 21st Amendment also has solid food offerings to compliment their classic beers. Wait until the summer, then come here for a glass of Watermelon Wheat with an actual watermelon slice in it. Oh yeah!

A watermelon slice on my watermelon sour?! Better than a cherry in top. A nice selection for the casual beer drinker but not the most interesting list. Great and classic beer drinking food. I sat at the bar which was a buy noise. They also have upstairs and outside seating options for whatever you're in the mood for.

Great beers, excellent food, amazing service! We recommend the street tacos (carnitas) and the amazing craft beer! Excited to have gotten to eat/drink here. 21st Amendment is one of my favorite California brewers! Cheers!

I am a huge fan of craft and micro brew beers. When I moved to San Fran, I didn't realize how close this was to my home. You can taste all of their beer offerings on tap. They also serve limited edition and specials on tap like seasonal beers before they go on sale to the market. Its a full service bar and restaurant. Their menu has plenty of vegetarian choices to choose from. Being close to the ballpark, this place gets packed during ball games.

We had a good time at 21st amendment brewery. They have a nice indoor as well as outdoor areas and a fun atmosphere. The service at the bar was very good. We tried pretty much all of their beers, I think they had 8 different beers on tap. We also ate here. The food was good and portions were a good size.

Nice neighborhood bar/restaurant; excellent beer and service. I went alone, but the servers and bartenders were really friendly and made sure to flag me when a seat opened at the bar and provided very attentive service.
Veggie sandwich was yummy. Also everyone talks about the watermelon wheat beer, and it really is pretty good. The brew or die! IPA is tasty too.

I have been here twice and for some reason both times my waitresses didn't want to be at work and didn't seem like they enjoyed being there. They did however have great beer and were very knowledgeable about all of them. The food was decent and nothing spectacular. Great sports atmosphere, but get there early! It gets crowded quickly!

Always stellar beers. They have the usual Motor Oil and Brew Free but they always have seasonal and unusual stuff on tap too. Strong beer month had an imperial stout brewed with espresso and a Belgian with candied sugar and cherries. You won't find those in stores. The food is good too. Burgers are big, peppery and delicious and the pizzas are very good too. Highly recommend this spot.

This is a popular pregame stop before San Francisco Giants games. Get here early on game day to get a table as they get really crowded when the Giants play. Be sure to try the WaterMelon wheat as it has a unique flavor and comes with a slice of Watermelon in your cup. I prefer to go here on non game day.

Fantastic place with great beer and food. The Rueben Sandwich was particularly excellent and would definitely come back again to get another. They also have a vast range of beers, some quite experimental. I rather enjoyed the watermelon beer (with real watermelon) and peanut butter stout (no peanut butter). The staff and interior design lead to a great atmosphere.

Pleasantly surprised! I was not expecting much...I thought it would be more "pub" like food. However, the food was quite delicious, California-fresh. One of the better casual restaurants / bars in the SOMA area for sure!

Amazing staff, fantastic burger and great atmosphere. I visited for lunch and was welcomed with a refreshing variety in dishes.

If you've got some room after lunch, try the cheesecake!

Flavorful and distinctive beers are served at this brewery. I tried the Sparkale which is a tangy rose type of beer. It was the right amount of sour and refreshing. I also ordered a burger which was not anything special but above average. The beer is King in here.

If they had a 3.5 star rating they would get that.

The food was very good. I tried the au gratin potato pizza (it was made with a spent grain crust, house made bechamel sauce with shredded cheese, thin sliced baby reds, bacon, and wilted greens) and the fish and chips. The pizza was good but felt like it was missing something and the fish and chips tasted more like what I would get in Washington State. The beer batter that they used was very tasty but was not the normal for fish and chips in the SFO area.

The beers were very good. I tried the watermelon wheat and the enjoy porter. The wheat was easy to drink and slightly sweet from the watermelon. The porter had a great aroma and invites you to smell once more before taking a drink. The porter wasn't overly roasty which made it easy to drink.

Overall I would go back and would recommend any craft beer fan to go but I would make sure to remember $6 pints and $12-$15 average prices for eating and drinking there

Nothing bad about this place, but it was surprisingly bland. Maybe it was bad timing, but no special beers that I couldn't get on the east coast. Pretty boring bar, nothing interesting to view.

This spot is a cool San Francisco beer pub. I like the Baby Horse and was disappointed that it's out of season and not on tap at the moment, but the food, atmosphere and beer ate what you'd expect from a neighborhood pub.

So I ordered sparkling wine in a brewery but I wasn't in the mood for beer...decent. I have had their beer before and it is good. Good variety. Higher alcohol levels normal for a micro brew. We ordered the buffalo wings and ribs. Ribs were cooked nicely and were very meaty. Wings were also meaty, nice heat, but I thought the sauce lacked a little in flavor. The bar gets very crowded, especially after a Giants game. Good service.

Grab some incredible food and 21st Amendment Beer before a Giants game (or any day, fot that matter...), but you're doimg it wrong if your meal begins with anything other than Fried Cheese Curds.

Went there on a game day during the game and it was busy but not packed. Was told unless my wife and I were both ordering entrees we'd have to sit in the bar area. I explained we were looking to relax and be there for a while. All the while there are 4 open tables in front of me. It was almost as if the manager/host didn't want to seat us. Sorry guys hate to do it but you get a 1.

This is one of the best spots before and after Giants games , only 2 blocks from AT&T park. I would suggest to all craft lovers to try them out, if you live on the east side, youre in luck. San Leandro has another spot
