Tired, miserable, worst Intercontinental I ever visited.
Staff don't smile and have no empathy.
Before travel I emailed to request a king bed and mentioned it was our honeymoon. They put us in a twin.
After appeals they corrected this and sent us champagne, to be fair. But why do it in the first place?
The Ambassador club help desk lady couldn t have been less interested in anything much.
Room was tired and dated.
On check in they demand card block of usd 100 per night but we negotiated it down.
Did I mention that negotiation skills are a must at this hotel?
You also have to pay a usd40 per night 'facility fee' and get a credit of 25 dollars a night back. It doesn't roll over. Doesn't apply to the mini bar. 15 dollar maximum credit per day for laundry.
On top of what you already paid.
Honestly, it's a miserable, stressful, tired hotel with no empathy.
Just go somewhere that doesn't over-charge and appreciates your business.
