Hhhmmm. Firstly, they don't let you prepay which is very annoying. Then even though we paid up front at check in, they took a few hundred dollars extra off our card for incidentals which I know is standard practice in many hotels, but 3 days later, the money still hasn't gone back on our card (despite us not using any extra services or anything from the mini bar)... Also, two nights in a row, they didn't replace our tea or coffee supplies OR cups in our room. This is basic service stuff, especially for the price you pay for this alleged 4 star hotel. Furthermore, we had to ask twice to even get some supplies of coffee replaced (again basic service even in a 2 star hotel). When they begrudgingly delivered the few coffee sachets to our room, the dude just barged in without asking to come in and put everything down on the desk among our possessions. For the price, this place isn't worth it. The best thing about it is the location, but there are a bunch of other hotels in the same area and I'd hazard a guess that, at least from our experience, they grasp the basics of service much better for the money you fork out. Book somewhere else - I know I will be next time I'm in Berlin.
