We stayed here soon after staying at the Radisson Blu in Cologne and the experience this time was even better!

We arrived by car and as the Radisson Blue Berlin is located inside the environmental zone for Berlin you need a Green sticker. Any cars rented from inside Germany should already have this fitted, cars rented outside Germany will not and you will need to leave the car outside the area, organise one yourself (takes time) or risk a 40 fine (not sure if they have cameras or you have to be stopped).

The car park entry is outside the main entry (stick to the right hand lane when driving towards Museum Island). Parking was 20 for a 24 hour period.

Check in was fast and the staff pleasant, the foyer has the worlds largest fish tank for you watch whilst you are being checked in and you can also ride up inside the fish tank via a commercial operation that is outside the hotel (you can probably arrange tickets with the hotel).

The room was great, it was clean and comfortable with a modern bathroom, comfortable bed and like other Radisson Blu hotels offer unlimited high speed WiFi and Ethernet internet (50Mb Symmetrical!) at no additional charge.

The hotel is within walking distance of many locations such as Museum Island, the Berlin TV Tower, Brandenburg Gate, the Berlin Cathedral, Checkpoint Charlie, the Pergamon Museum, the Reichstag Building and the Topography of Terror.

Our room had a balcony and was at the rear of the hotel so the door was able to be opened two ways, tilted or fully opened. The balcony was small but had two chairs and a table, if the weather was nicer it would have been a good spot for dinner or breakfast. The air conditioning worked well and kept the room cool at night.

Breakfast in the morning could have been great however we were in a rush so didn't get to enjoy it as much as we would have liked but it had a great variety.

We would definitely stay here again and other Radisson Blu Hotels as they seem to have consistency across their hotels.

Room Tip: I would be wary about having a room facing the outside Atrium as there are commercial offices on the other side.
