I've been a member of the Phillips for years, and, weather permitting, try to visit at least once or twice a month. Favorites move in and out of storage. Paintings I've never seen before suddenly appear, making every visit special. The current exhibit, Zilia Sanchez Soy Isla, was totally new to me. What a great opportunity to be able to see it again and again before it closes. Renoir's Luncheon of the Boating Party and Jacob Lawrence's Migration Series are must-sees. There's a discounted $48 individual membership available to seniors, military, students and teachers and people living more than 150 miles away, which includes two free passes. There are lots of restaurants in the area and a very nice little cafe in the gallery if you want a cup of coffee or light lunch.
